We don’t usually think of Cancers as revolutionaries, but the 4th of July sign is Cancer! They do stand up for their homes, families and especially children! If they are refugees, the family doggie goes with them, no one is left behind.

Pluto is retrograde back in Capricorn, the full Moon’s sign, Sun in Cancer’s opposite. Moon’s last aspect will be with Pluto. There may be intensity, a powerful farewell, ending, surrender. Pluto as healer may salute her as she passes by, for her unconditional caring, the timeless building she does when helping others grow or elders are old or tired beyond words. Pluto takes her in with him, heals old griefs, sends her on her way with a secret she holds dear. Finances, business, may go very up or very down or both. She may need some help herself. Pluto may negotiate in her behalf. She may need some protection or to set bounders. Timing, deadlines may be crucial.

Sun in Cancer is conjunct Mercury, sensing a need for more communications, perhaps that a paper needs signing, a bill to be paid without fail. There may be a security matter that needs tending. Women can likely help.

Mercury does square Chiron, Sun will follow. Though ordinarily quite logical, in Cancer, Mercury is more intuitive. Chiron in Aries is pushing for the latest health changes, but Cancer is generally more old fashioned, using the herbal remedies of the GrandMother. Yet, she senses Chiron’s fervent genuine concern so may carefully try some of his ideas. He has ideas for new ways of relating, business. Some sound clever and worthy. Again, she is cautious but intrigued. If they work well she may be the leader of several new ways. Cancer is an excellent business person, using cycles to advantage! Chiron will learn from tradition and quickly revise, include, merge their findings together. He will learn better how to speak respectfully and kindly with traditionals and sensitives.

Bow Formation! The Sun and Moon, Full Moon axis, have been making good sextile aspects with Saturn, Capricorn’s planet, and Jupiter. Those two, recently sextiled each other, are well informed. Saturn knows how to do business, building, is professional. Jupiter is the planner and has ideas for growth, education and is making big plans. It is a super productive combination! Moon and Sun can fall back on this lucky information.

Venus in Leo has been trine with Chiron, the best aspect! She is with Mars the Aries planet and Chiron is in Aries! Fiery signs and fiery Mars make things happen pdq, pretty darn quick! Mars in Leo is the hero! If Venus isn’t doing her nails, she is quite generous and Mars wants to please her! Chiron wants to get out of the gate and inspire them all to do what they can soonest! He has new healing ideas and wants to try them! Venus in Leo wants Chiron to admire her, so she might surprise him with her quick response. She’s got the pom poms and Mars has the Muscle!

This, Venus making a conjunction with Mars, is one of those aspects that don’t get made. Venus is usually faster than Mars, but she is slowing to retrograde and they don’t connect. Close enough to see each other, but not close enough to connect. It’s a spicy flirtation, nice to have met you, a wink, and off he goes. They connect months later, but in different signs. It’s not the same as in Leo, the lovers’ sign. Wait to get a better marriage chart.

Venus has also been square Uranus. She is feeling a need to be free or has recently divorced or it is on her mind. She may be sad, disappointed. She has broken from her past and some friends too. It was a long time coming. Being close to Mars makes her hot to get to new ground, but that she is slowing to retrograde, looks like there is still some unfinished business. She makes 2 more squares, Aug 9 and Oct 2. You see? It’s going to take some time.

Pluto in Capricorn is indeed square the Moon’s North Node. At this point, they are in what’s called an out of sign square – in compatible signs Capricorn and Taurus, but close to 90°. The 90° factor usually wins. It’s a challenge, an abrupt direction change. When the Node moves into Aries, they will square by signs as well as degrees. The nodes are now spanning Taurus/Scorpio, Scorpio being Pluto’s sign. It is as if Pluto/Scorpio is at odds within himself. There can be a camaraderie, or a blocking oneself. Capricorn generally operates on the old trusted way. Taurus is working to loosen this lock among them in the system, trying to get them to look forward.

With Pluto back in Capricorn he is again sextile Neptune from a compatible sign.  They have an amazing story spanning past and future!

They make their first station, then, not missing any, they continue through Feb 29, 2032, from 4 to 14° Aries/Aquarius! They make 13 additional exact aspects in this period! This completes the 82 years! As planets travel together, they become more like each other. Neptune and Pluto are both water planets (Pisces and Scorpio) and both have to do with transformation. Pluto transforms our bodies while Neptune transforms our Spirit. Pluto goes deep to cure the cause. Neptune pulls us to believe in the unseeable. Neptune calls Pluto to compassion. Pluto says face the facts. There is the physical doctor and the if the patient doesn’t believe, they can die no matter how great the Dr is. If there is no great Dr, the patient may die no matter what he believes. Truly, we need these two to work together. We/they, have been getting better at it!

This connection is more significant now because March 23, 2023 Pluto entered Aquarius, a 246 year event! Now through 2044, 21 years, there will be significant world changes. ’26 to ’32 the remaining 13 exact sextiles with Neptune happen while Neptune is in Aries, Pluto in Aquarius. Please continue to strengthen our Aquarian and Uranian people, those factors in your own charts!

She is at 28 Leo, almost at the end, but retrogrades July 22 just before Sun enters Leo, his own sign! Right now she is in her one degree station that started July 15; that will complete July 29, 2 weeks. Factors in your chart that line up with Venus now will be on hold for a few days. Uranus is in Taurus wanting a dependable future with valuable long term changes proving their worth. Cancers are natural born citizens of their communities and like to see everyone teaming up just like a working family. They are proponents of their children’s needs, wanting clean water and climate safe living. Cancers are wise at looking at cycles, food sources, secure sustainable housing. They can bring whole neighborhoods and communities, the Mothers of America, to a sensible cause. They can be excellent lobbyists and reps to court and the White House! Sun and Moon have been square Old Teacher Chiron. He’s in new fiery Aries these days, sometimes cranky and impatient! But he is mostly right and wants the best NOW for all, LOL! Cancers can be SO tolerant. They like tradition and Chiron is ‘newly’ bringing back some old ways! He is so knowledgeable you just have to listen! At least he is quick about it. They talk about him and tell their family and close others. More often than not, Chiron heals the problem and teaches people how to take care of themselves, prevention skills included.

Jupiter is in Taurus making steady gains. Jupiter teaches, leads, travels overland to the organic sources of information, absorbs the most basic possibilities right up through his bare feet! Mercury in Leo has just squared him. In spite of their differences, Mercury is likely convinced, is carrying the ideas like a torch wherever he goes. He lights the fires of people wanting changes. It spreads further and faster than anyone expected. There are likely some exaggerations on both their parts, but it is still inspiring! If there are major disagreements, Mercury could leave in a huff. But he will be thinking as he goes. Jupiter and Taurus are generally of good will and sensible. It might not be the material that is the problem, but the manner in which it is processed and used. Leo might want a lot more flair. I hope they stay with it and work it out. Mercury in Leo can do it proud!

Particular Mars in Virgo is facing off Saturn the hammer in the velvet glove Pisces! Mars here is an excellent craftsman with a quick style. He may team up with Saturn and use the Pisces intuition to guide his hand. Mars is fire, Virgo wood; Saturn is stone (jewels) and Pisces is shimmering oceanic music (opals?). Welding, cutting, carving, cleaving? It will be exceptionally beautiful and intricate whatever it is.

Mars may be concerned for the health of very young women or especially elder men. Mars pushes for taking care of ourselves better, eating less, working more at things we deeply believe in. Saturn preserves the past and may bring ancient wisdoms into play, possibly knowledge from past life times. How did he do that so easily with no training?! He’s a natural. Saturn may block our efforts at times to save us from ourselves. If necessary, he may call in the law. Or Mars may leave no stone unturned to help us kick an addiction, come back from the lost. This may be a time of trial as new techniques are tried to loosen the grip of old ways. Mars may want us to stand up to invalid unjust spiritual ‘authorities,’ to function even when we are in sorrow, when a victim, have disability. It’s a tough call and requires all the courage we have. In time, Virgo knows when things are just not, never were or no longer are a working truth, and they care.

At times the roles are reversed. Saturn has the intuition to recognize a skilled Soul. He may want to help Mars polish his techniques and bring him into his business! Virgo can be self critical – it’s not good enough and never will be. Wrong. It often takes an experienced master to have the perspective to see. In Pisces, Saturn knows just the things to point out, and how to tell Mars so he will be more interested than feel put down. Changes can happen quickly and Mars is practically reborn!

Leo’s first Full Moon is the second day of Leo! The second Full Moon is the last day of Leo at 5:02 AM Pacific, first day of Virgo, Sun into Virgo at 2:35 PM Pacific! This second Full Moon is called a Blue Moon, being the third of four Full Moons in the summer season!

Leo, the sign of the SUN, will be especially golden this year! Just two days before the second Full Moon, Jupiter retrogrades sextile the Galactic Center again! This Full Moon occurs in the glow of this super event! The HUGE GC is the Center of the magnificent Milky Way Starlight! The Full Moon opposition with Moon in Aquarius is especially brilliant and tuned in! Aquarius is the sign of electrical charge, Lightning, and STARS! Leo starts with bright light and ends with super light that surges forward lighting Virgo’s way with volumes of inspired projects!

This Buck Chart is a Locomotive type chart! Locomotives are known for keeping up the steam, pedaling right on down the road, gets things done! You can either jump aboard or be left behind to cheer them on their way. You can wish them well, cheer them again on their accomplishments upon their return! They aren’t afraid to try new ventures.

It’s own momentum carries it forward, but Venus in Virgo at the lead position, is working forward, keeps it going! Every detail is taken care of, your health improves, making it easy to to get there. Having passed in inconjunct, 150° relationship with Mother Moon In Aquarius, Venus is aware of how important the work is to us all. Aquarius may live in its head, but Virgo crafts the ideas into a fine tuned application for day to day practice. Venus loves what she does and she smooths the way for Virgo teams to collaborate and shows them how to put an attractive finishing touch on the package. Beauty and functionality at the right price!

Mars in Leo is right behind her putting his whole heart into cheering her on, keeping her moving yet relying on her medicinal prowess and dietary expertise for both of them! Mars keep the doors open behind her so others can follow too. He’s bright and quick, strong and inspiring. Once they follow him, he shows them Venus. She loves them right along, and they feel better than they ever have before!

Sure, Mars can be grumpy, demanding and uppity in Leo, but why not? He wants the best for you and he wants it now, LOL! He is super flirty at times, but appreciates what he sees! Good to be admired. Venus can seem selfish at times, but she’s an example. If she can do it and gets what she wants, even if it is silly and frivolous, so can we! Pluto is the power at the back door, the Ninja at the gateway! He guards the group from negative infiltration, filters forward letting the good stuff and people catching up to join the entourage. Pluto pushes from behind, healing the laggards, clearing their ability to take responsible action. Mars has just passed him, and is still looking over his shoulder (inconjunct), to see what the old Master thinks now… He has suggested Mars harness some of that wild energy, keep rested, avoid burnout. He knows if Mars disciplines his actions and keeps practicing, he will succeed, be a winner!

Mars is opposition with Jupiter at 0 Pisces. The prelude: Jupiter is retrograde, learning more about Pisces, finding himself in unusual depths. Mars in Leo is fiery. Jupiter is all wet in Pisces. Whoa! Mars will be looking from shore in earth sign Virgo! Should he leap in and rescue Jupiter, or is Jupiter just traveling yet another dimension, enjoying every possibility?! They converse across the waves, Jupiter revealing fantastic perceptions. Mars may shockingly find himself changing velocity abruptly, listening, then going away thoughtfully. Virgo is smart and efficient, the super organizer. The coming work may be extensive, but Jupiter is a good planner and Virgo easily figures what’s first and what follows! Astonishing results faster than anyone expected!

But due to Jupiter being so close to his return to Aquarius July 28, this experience of Mars with Jupiter in Pisces ends that day! Hope you make lots of notes. The opposition actually occurs with Jupiter in Aquarius on the 29th!!! Now it’s time to make those changes! Virgo will have her work cut out for her! The whole case has turned to a more humanitarian venue, planetary. Jupiter will bring in organizations he discovered when he was in AQ before. Climate matters will be near the top of the list. How to organize is a question we all need answered. A broader scope will be called for. Funding is needed ASAP. Electronics of all kinds will allow more to be accomplished, help to be sought from around the world, experiences shared for the best results.

Moon in Aquarius will see this coming and wants it! Right now she is conjunct fixed star Altair in the Aquila Constellation, keeping her sights high! Elsbeth Ebertin says ‘Altair, in the Eagle, also called the Flying Eagle, has a Mars character with a blend of Mercury and Jupiter. Tied with benefic stellar bodies, Altair is credited with bestowing hardiness, courage and generosity, especially if on the Ascendant. Altair is good for advancement of lawyers and military men.’ With the Moon, old doomsday astrologer Robson says ‘Interest in a strange or ancient discovery, disappointment and loss over property and gain, some profit and preferment, friends become enemies, trouble through companies or public affairs, difficulties through or misfortune to children.’ Sometimes there is a grain of truth in what the old timers said, so take note, be prepared, just in case. At the New Moon August 8 Mother Moon will struggle to keep the work going. Too much unexpected intervention. She will have her second chance at the Blue Moon August 22.

Sun has just passed Jupiter from an inconjunct 150° position. He is making adjustments in his presentations, very impressed with the scope of Jupiter in Pisces care, from ocean athletes, seaside businesses, shipping and cruises, to matters of the Soul, the art of the world. It can be care for an addict, homeless, disabled, the abused, lack of civil rights of all kinds. Pisces is superlative at music, films, life changing entertainment. Sun  in his own bright Sign, is impressive at acting, brilliant shows, stunning as an educator! With an important purpose as his motivator, he is guided by spiritual intensity, has a purity that is palpable. He is touching and can bring tears to your eyes when you get it. Nothing like a little Light to wake you up good and proper.

Mercury in Cancer, sign of the Moon, with both intelligence and feelings working together, emphasizes the perception of what needs to be done. He trines Neptune the Pisces visionary planet. Jupiter can be all big and impressive, but for the more thoughtful and those less impressed by big, this Mercury has awareness of daily needs of the people involved, realistic finances, the time it really takes, sharing comfort. There may be hidden or subtle meanings, a further assortment of ideas that Jupiter may gloss over but Mercury puts his fingers on and puts into words. They can open more doors, and as Mercury speaks, others hear more of the inside gist of what Pisces is after. There are people and things to be saved, suffering reduced, better safe places to stay are needed. Comfort, nurturing and counseling, better health may be the underpinnings that turn the tables.

The threesome that have been working with us since the end of 2020 are still at it. They are separated a bit now, but still in awareness of each other. Saturn is 10 AQ, Chiron is 12 Aries, Uranus is at 14 Taurus. They will connect again in Nov/Dec 2021. Until then, they are simmering on the back burner.

Good viewing for 2021 Perseids Meteor Shower! It will probably produce the greatest number of meteors on the mornings of August 11, 12 and 13. Perseid meteors usually start streaking the sky around July 17. We’ll see Perseids for 10 days or so after the peak mornings, so keep watch before and after! If fortune smiles upon you, the evening hours might offer you an earthgrazer – a looooong, slow, colorful meteor traveling horizontally across the evening sky. Moon and Sun in Leo are double frisky with fixed star Rigel at 16 Gemini 50! We know Rigel, one of the bright stars in the Orion constellation! With Sun, according to Robson, who is usually pretty glum, ‘It gives benevolence, honor, riches, happiness, glory, renown and inventive or mechanical ability.’ In another excerpt, author uncited, ‘…a quick rise in life is promised on account of a strong, inherent will power, love of action, and a lucky hand in enterprise. A continuous battle to retain an acquired position has to be waged. This fight at the same time stimulates an increase in vigor. Even in spite of unhelpful aspects, success and reaching the set aim can be secured by this powerful concentration. If however the native is not cautious or has an attack of weakness, failure and disappointments, a fall from success will follow. Tradition regarding the influence of Rigel is quite contradictory, implying again that the cosmogram must be fully analyzed. A lot will be stirred up since this is a Seesaw Chart, planets on both sides of the chart. The New Moon and Mercury also in Leo, along with our Mars and Venus in Virgo, stand powerfully to one side. The other planets are spread out on the other side. Oppositions are common energy to Seesaws. Mercury opposite Jupiter, rulers of the 3rd and 9th houses, mind and purpose, are well synchronized! Venus in Virgo is opposite Neptune, love and Soul, Soulmate! Virgo knows how to do the books and knows whether the investment is proven. If Pluto is being stodgy, Venus shows him the up-to-date figures. There may be a hidden, but successful, May to December romance in the offing. Venus in Virgo is is a powerful healer at work, streamlining affairs for long term production, whether your health or business, both. Mars in Virgo wants to take action, yet is coming upon an inconjunct with Saturn in Aquarius. Pluto Trine Fixed Star Algol 26 Taurus 27 in 2020 – 2024

Pluto is of Scorpio, the sign opposite Algol’s sign Taurus, but Pluto now in Capricorn gentles that opposition because Pluto Capricorn trines, favors Algol. Pluto rules death and rebirth while Algol is considered to bear misfortune, often death. They understand each other. Neither is to be messed with. Capricorn is noted for facing reality squarely.

Algol is the baddest Star according to some! It is a rare triple star and eclipsing binary, which means it blinks, and changes brightness, even ‘disappears!’ It is the Medusa’s Head, carried in the left hand of the Hero, Perseus. On the dark side, ‘It causes misfortune, violence, decapitation, hanging, electrocution and mob violence, and gives a dogged and violent nature that causes death to the native or others. It is the most evil star in the heavens.’ Some say it’s not the ‘bad’ within us but pushing through blockages to the beauty beyond is what really matters. Many give Algol a wide berth, plan wisely astrologically. Astrologers often allow 5 degrees for the effective range with Algol while most stars get only 1 degree range. If you have chart factors in that 5 degree range, one way or another you are connected with Algol. If you have questions, do see your astrologer.

Pluto is now at 25° Capricorn and moves only 3° a year. Pluto retrogrades back and forth through the degrees as it travels Capricorn. Allowing a 3 degree range, anytime Pluto is between 23 Cap 27 to 29 Cap 27, it will trine Algol at 26 Taurus 27. That period started Feb 2020 – virus time, and will go through Jan 2024. It is now continuously trine Algol. Exact trines are formed 5 times: on Spring Equinox Mar 20, & June 5, 2021, and in 2022 Jan 17, 2022, Aug 29, Nov 16.

One hopes the trine, a good aspect, bends the relationship with Algol to a more satisfactory outcome. Earth signs are a bit ‘indelible.’ Their effects are more long lasting. Keep turning the tables on Algol’s bad rep. Recent violence, covid deaths, may leave raw feelings of grief, bitterness, betrayal. Freedom is still at issue. Stay calm in the face of violence, shift your connections so better can happen, turn a page, try out some new possibilities. Know your rights and choose safety unless/even if you are trying to save someone’s life. If you are the offender, get all the help you can to change. Many a fine leader has come from a dark place.

Algol’s connection with the Galactic Center!

Algol and the GC are in lockstep! Each being star factors, they each take 72 years to move a degree. Currently Algol is at 26 Taurus and the GC is 27 Sag. Whenever one is activated, they both are. Algol and the GC have an oblique position (inconjunct), aware, but out of the corner of your eye. That position is common in the charts of psychics. They see peripheral factors that influence the outcome. Inconjuncts sometimes lead you on a goose chase, but maybe to greener pastures. You do get a greater perspective. Even if you go back home, you are different. You have perhaps made new friends and associates that can carry that sector for you, or be a link to that sector when you need it. Excellent adjustments are in the offing. Destination Algol would not usually be a conscious choice, but sometimes it is part of our Path and it just happens. Square your shoulders and do it, eyes wide open. Fascinating encounter.

Oh, yes, Algol strikes fear in a lot of hearts, but so does the GC when people find out it is one gigantic black hole!!! You could vanish in an instant! You astral travelers might should be careful? I like to think of Algol as the GC’s Guardian. Algol is considered to be a super powerful feminine force. It would take such an entity to protect the mighty GC! Algol is ready to stomp her feet and ‘invite’ you to travel, or takes you another place once the GC’s info has been bestowed, a place that needs the information the most.

Leo’s first Full Moon was the second day of Leo! This second Full Moon is the last day of Leo at 5:02 AM Pacific, first day of Virgo, Sun into Virgo at 2:35 PM Pacific! This second Full Moon is called a Blue Moon, being the third of four Full Moons in the summer season!

Leo, the sign of the SUN, will be especially golden this year! Just two days before the second Full Moon, Jupiter retrogrades sextile the Galactic Center again! The GC is the Center of the magnificent Milky Way Starlight! This Full Moon occurs in the glow of this super event! Fire sign Leo, the Heart of Light, trines, most favorably aspects the GC. Leo puts a personal stamp on the situation and brightens the odds! This second Moon is steeped in messages more powerful than shooting stars! The GC is HUGE, and Jupiter is a natural born amplifier! The Full Moon opposition with Moon in Aquarius is especially brilliant and tuned in! Aquarius is the sign of electrical charge, Lightning, and STARS! Aquarius is the sign of the Galaxies, so is a natural receiver of these energies! Pluto at 24 Capricorn, has recently been traveling more closely along in sextile with Neptune again. Depending on the orb, range, you use, they do so for 76 years from 1948 to 2029! You could say ok, so? In this chart Mercury is connected with Neptune, then trine Pluto, so it matters. Neptune is spirituality, our second out most planet, 168 yr orbit. Pluto is the outlier, 248 yr orbit. Orbits being elliptical, they are traveling at about the same speed now, they are in sync, a long term exchange happening. Mercury may have particular understanding. Neptune has compassion; Pluto will clear you, removes poisons. Pluto is everything from birth, to death, rebirth. It’s healing as psychic surgeon to therapist to financial counselor saves us. Mercury’s connection may bring poignant awareness that makes us see the deep importance of our choices.

Mercury was just over Mars, the action leader! In an earth sign, they part out the projects, get skilled people to work the different aspects. Training is sought and, doing what they love and have passion for, they learn quickly. A little more about the magnificent Sturgeon! The Native Americans in their area named this time of year for them because the giant sturgeon of the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain were most readily caught during this part of summer. The word “sturgeon” means “the stirrer,” which is what this giant prehistoric looking fish does with its ‘whiskers’ when it is looking for food; it stirs up the mud and silt on river and lake bottoms.

Females require around 20 years to start reproducing, and they can only reproduce every 4 years. However, they can live up to 150 years! In times past their common size was like the recent 6-foot-10-inch, 240-pound female that was found, quickly studied and released. These days that’s a rare find and they are endangered due to intense overfishing in the 19th century, pollution, and damage to their habitat.. See more

Cancer New Moon Solar Eclipse, Summer Solstice/Father’s Day June 20/21!!

Saturday June 20 Summer Solstice Solar Eclipse New Moon at 11:41 PM Pacific, 0 Cancer 21! Heads up: The New Moon will be on Sunday the 21^st in Mountain, Central and Eastern Zones, on Father’s Day!

This is the second eclipse this season, not visible in the US. Viewing: Partial Eclipse: Africa, southeast Europe, Asia  Annular Eclipse: central Africa, south Asia, China, Pacific. 

We start with the first Cancer new Moon at ZERO degrees, totally fresh! It’s a time for new ways of caring. Cancer is our family at home, our home in the world today. New Moon is seriously engaged with Saturn, the planet of Cancer’s opposite sign Capricorn, also at ZERO degrees! Saturn is retrograde in Aquarius, about to return to his own sign. They are askew by angle and Saturn is in an unpredictable sign not always comfortable to Moon, the 27 day planet who tends the hearth fires. Yet she herself changes a lot every 27 days, keeps her fingers on the pulse of the people, so, in a way, there is always something new afoot, and both Cancer and Aquarius are community minded. In AQ Saturn is making required changes to things that were anchors to our ethics, laws, necessities. We have had two ‘pandemics’ to face recently, COVID-19 and the worldwide George Floyd protests.

Cancer is not just your Mom, but our community, our culture. Cancer is the number one sign of business and they are terrific stock traders, sensing the nuances of the mood of the people. They 100% understand commodities, the daily household supplies we all need. They know when we are troubled and bring that casserole over to help us get through it. They wait until we are ready to talk or give us a talking to! Femininity is key. Our matriarchal lineage affects us more than we realize. We are our mother’s children, yet they nurture us, their instinct hoping we will surpass them.

Jupiter’s June 29 retrograde conjunction with Pluto will bring more deaths from both COVID and residual protests. At the same time people are stepping up to heal each other. As with environmental disasters, the playing field is leveled. We come to stand up to a common threat, and when you are drowning, you are glad for help from anyone no matter their skin color. We make new unlikely friendships and allies. These matters open us to interact more widely, get to know each other in different ways. Our new goal is not to restore, but to excel to new levels long overdue. Saturn’s preview in Aquarius sees potential that will cost a lot less. When it retrogrades back into Capricorn July 1, serious work will be done to implement significant changes. 

Both of 2020 Cancer’s New Moons are in Bowl charts.

This Bowl chart is less than 180°, planets spread across 7 signs with grouping and pairings! The first group is Pluto and Jupiter in Capricorn, the base planets of the Bowl, close with Saturn, Capricorn’s planet. Saturn is now in Aquarius, to retrograde back into Capricorn July 1! He is previewing Aquarius then will return to revamp and solidify Capricorn’s techniques before Saturn’s final entry into Aquarius and prepare for Pluto into Aquarius March 2023! The transition from traditional building to evolutionary humanitarian planetary work is so apparent with pandemic COVID-19 changes and worldwide protests for freedom.

Jupiter with Pluto was first exact April 4. It is now retrograding back to make its second/retrograde conjunction with Pluto June 29. They have been close since March 12, shifting perceptions back and forth, tweaking Capricorn structures, laws, responsibilities, extreme economic twists, environmental and human rights, COVID-19 concerns. There are secrets, revelations, lies and truths, bald faced power jockeying, greed, fear, deaths and saves. Many are seeing the potentials of incredible new options.

Jupiter makes things best, bigger or exaggerated, the worst – like C-19. Pluto is at his microscope looking for that vaccine. Pluto can resurrect or save your life, make money or take your life and all your money, bankruptcy. It can bond your relationship for a lifetime, or there you are filing divorce papers against that cheater! Jupiter can be schooling, trips, publishing, truth and the consequences if you have been a liar no longer getting away with it. Jupiter is so much the traveler, but with the Virus, and Jupiter in Capricorn, the sign of limitations, necessities only, no such luck for now. Pluto can be the scandal, fighting over inheritances, funding, or fund the most amazing healing research and a center with exceptional care for victims. We have been seeing amazing caring and people stepping up to the plate. You see this aspect has a great range, extremes. And both can happen at once. Keep your life clean or Jupiter in Capricorn the law, Pluto the Police, will be knocking on your door. Jupiter Conjunct Pluto will continue in their close conjunction through July 30! The third and final aspect is Nov 12, THE aspect of the Nov 3 Presidential Election. You can see how crucial this aspect is. In Capricorn there is much long term work of necessity. Set your goals and stick with them, revising and updating as you go. DO what makes a difference.

With Mercury’s retrograde that started June 17, we are in a week of the double retrograde with Venus until Venus turns forward June 24! Both are in Station! Station is when a planet appears to be standing still in the sky. A Station offers a pause, a focus, deepened perception, emphasis. Venus is in one of Mercury’s signs Gemini. Together they are whirling with thoughts, ideas. The word is getting spread by social media at the speed of light!

Mercury Retrograde is going back to sextile Uranus again. As some say, Friends (Uranus) are the family we choose! Uranus in Taurus is Earth herself, organic. Our Networks are vital to the new works we need to do among our people and for peaceful sustainability. 

Though retrograde, ‘going backward,’ Mercury in Cancer is leading the Bowl chart! This form of leadership gives you pause to consider just how that is done! Sometimes a leader has to take a few steps back, wisely retreat from a position that instinctively doesn’t feel right or the advance has not quite hit the time to move forward. Go back, strengthen your position, double check your information. If things need changing, update your approach tactics. Use that retrograde well. 

Moon is in her own sign! She feels the feelings, her patterns and passages. She is in Sun’s Heart Light, feeling stronger with his support. He in her sign understands her better, sees how important her nurturing is, not just to children and family, but to all of us. She is a model of that unconditional givingness. Mercury is conjunct the amazing fixed Star Sirius! This is important because the July 4/5 Full Buck Moon Lunar Eclipse SUN is conjunct Sirius too! What Mercury gleans from Sirius now will be spread widely by the Full Moon, springing from their positive relationship with Uranus, the evolutionary Networker, who unites Humanity for the greatest well being possible! Venus squares Neptune three times during her retrograde cycle. It is a significant aspect because Neptune is activated NINE times during the Venus retrograde cycle! One of the cycle’s most important aspects is the Jupiter conjunct Pluto’s companion aspect Jupiter’s RX sextile Neptune! It is July 27, the day of Venus’ last square to Neptune, the day before Venus’ RX cycle ends! It is the goal of the entire cycle! Being an outer planet sextile, it is likely to prevail beyond passing doubts with great promise. But happening three times, those small niggly doubts will be remembered for a while and double checks will be made to be sure progress is better than it was feared it wouldn’t be.

Neptune, in his own sign Pisces, represents a psychic/spiritual dimension beyond average, is the Great Guardian of Spirituality. He is of a very different element, water with no definite form. Gemini, Venus, nor Mercury in Gemini, one of his own signs, are immersed the same way as water, but they are heady in air, logical. Water and air have currents and winds, flow that carries you along their streams, but the view sure is different! At worst Neptune in Pisces is the suffering out of control addict. At best Neptune has empathy, extraordinary visions, does magic and Soul Saving miracles!

Venus is adding her Grace. Neptune hardly notices because he is focused on the intensity of his work. Jupiter in Capricorn sees the special value Neptune offers and give Neptune as much support as possible. Jupiter may publish essential historical documents to record changes and how various decisions were made at any given time. Some of it will be hard despairing news to look at. Some will be hopeful and inspiring as long term changes are finally possible and come true. There will be fumbles and fuming, but Jupiter what is good and best for all. Education will figure in prominently to open people to what could be better ways and show them the benefits. Trust may come quickly or need to be babied along. Do what you can. Keep an open heart; keep empathy handy.

Mars in Pisces recently swam with Neptune, Pisces’ planet, senses the currents, the easiest ways to get where he is going. He is immersing every molecule in the Dream that he may function wholly in its initiation when he gets into Aries, his own sign. In Aries he is the leader, the first responder, consultant, inspires others to take action. If he can do it, they can do it! He will start in Aries June 27 and step up the pace! Mars in Pisces is now leading from behind and within in behalf of the underdog, to help their suffering. He wants us to remember we were once there too. He’s encouraging them to call their formidable talents together to help themselves significantly change this planet.

Mars in Pisces is super sensitive to pivot points that can be used as springboards to areas that need attention to speed progress in a good way. Neptune in his own sign Pisces is a powerful visionary! Music, art, dreams, movies, seeing each other on our cell phones, are all potent ways of seeing, inspiration! Just seeing the sea, ocean sports, ships, seeing the magic of oceanic weather and creatures of the reefs, the depth, not seeing land, gives a broadening perspective that requires a certain faith in the unknowable, unconquerable. We can see further, forever, not know and still continue. Mars can be a silent partner in Pisces, but make no mistake, he is always a leader, even if from behind, no name given. The vision is bigger than any one of us and it will carry itself by its own Spirit!

Chiron in Aries and Uranus in Taurus are neighboring, only 15 mins apart! June 10 as they made their third from the last semisextile of their 13 yearlong sets of aspects that completes in 2021! Chiron is sizzling in fiery Aries, a good business person as well as a healer/teacher, terrific consultant! In this combination a promotional organization would suit his Spirit! Supporting new students, think tanks, getting groups started! Avant-garde ideas, exotic explorations on land or in the lab, unique sports, research for new cures, looking for leaders! All would be exciting ventures! They have been closely together in the background…a small but potent aspect.

Sweeping change is often started with chaos and discomfort. This is our chance to step up for things that will introduce new possibilities. Uranus in Taurus is working for stable global union. Taurus is Earth herself, her lands, indigenous peoples that inhabit them, the Standing Tree People, Stone People, the Four Leggeds, all. Uranus is working for planetary freedom for all beings. If you use Chiron and Lilith in your interpretations, they make a wild pair. In Aries, Mars’ sign, they have their own power of Leadership. Chiron as healer never promised healing would be easy. In fact, you really have to want to live, to heal and have to step up to the plate. You are not the only person on the planet and at the same time we need you to do your special part. Capricorn – Cancer Full Buck Moon Lunar Eclipse!

4th of July in Pacific, Mountain and Central, on the 5th in Eastern, but all on the same night! This is the third eclipse this season: Penumbral Lunar Eclipse  Barely perceptible…

Our July Full Moon axis defines a perfect 180° Bowl Chart, Cancer the sign of Bowls! The Full Moon axis is past the Chiron midpoint at 9 Aries. Nevertheless, with Mars now in his own sign activating Chiron, Chiron is still a potent factor in the time frame! Chiron is considered to be the wounded healer/teacher. We learn from our troubles, take a look at our mortality, vow to be a better person and help others, especially children, when we can. Chiron can be great in business, in Aries a leader to new goals and new ways of getting there. Some think Chiron is the number one marriage factor in our charts. Cancer and Capricorn want security, trust and support. Aries is holding the position that your backup Ace is always to be able to support yourself by yourself. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Other effects, according to the ancients, were droughts, plagues and madness.

Sun is in Moon’s sign Cancer, warming Cancer’s heart, giving her strength to do all the caring she is want to do, forever and ever. She makes us the best shelter within her means, raises/teaches children – makes sure we get the best education, homeschooling to college, feeds us from body to Spirit, loves us no matter what from sorrows to success! She may be an artist, a skill sharing business person, a community and cultural leader, an advocate for women and children’s rights, volunteering at the local safe house. She makes sure we have good water.

Moon herself is in her opposite sign, Capricorn. She is an excellent community organizer, has an exceptional instinct for business. Capricorn works hard to build what our families and community needs, to gain respect by professional excellence, often has an outstanding reputation. He excels in law and order, dependability. Cancer brings feelings to him, that law is law, humans are human. She shows him how important background is, how to help rather than only categorize and dispense with. Humans need time to learn and time to grow, often to overcome their past. They need to be shown what can be done and how to do it. Venus now direct is semisextile Mercury in Cancer still Retrograde. Mercury is still perusing and turning mental soil about how we feel about the world today and what to do. We have the Virus, civil unrest, environmental discord. Cancer is all about security, nurturing those who suffer for any reason. Our environment is our ultimate home. Taking care of it is a big job. Mercury was sextile Uranus June 5 and 30, will again July 22. Sun also sextiled Uranus the 30th and Moon trined earlier today at 3:19 PM Pacific. Though past, they are all still close, carrying the messages of innovation, humanitarian efforts, the value of networking and philanthropy. Many have new friends, are looking to places in the world family where proven and productive changes have been made.       

Venus never made that sextile with Mars! She turned forward at five Gemini while Mars was still in Pisces and left Mars behind. They have been traveling closely however… They were within 5 degrees of each other when Mars shifted into Aries. July 4 they become 3°, and stay 3° or less through July 21! There is a side by side effect, sharing ideas. Venus gives grace and longing that spurs Mars to action! Venus tells of how heroic Mars is, inspiring people to take his lead!

Venus does sextile Chiron July 10, Mars makes the conjunction to Chiron July 14! In horary astrology this constitutes a connection of all three, Chiron ‘collects’ the light of Venus and Mars. Venus sweetens Chiron’s leadership, enhances his healing and teaching skills with her gracious ways of saying things and brings valued information. She praises him and he takes a greater stride forward! Mars energizes Chiron to stay true to his cause, not be influenced by distractions or payoffs. Mars is a pro at new beginnings and Chiron has to be medically careful with the healing aspect of his work, but new ways are being called for with the Virus, and even with political and police matters. It is important not to be stopped at important junctures of your work or to be ill, injured or disabled yourself. Stay safe and be well. Take care of yourself first that you may serve.

Mercury Rx in Cancer is leaving his July 1 square to Chiron in Aries, retrograding back to square Mars July 8. Mercury shared updated information with Chiron alerting him to current changes in needs and setting new priorities. Cancer is traditional, but a sign quick to make sensible adjustments. Aries can be so full of straight ahead fire that you have to get his attention first, quickly impart your three liner to-the-point info then see how that goes. If needed, check in again to be sure the whole thing got taken in. If it is an emergency, do your best, but be big about it! Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn is the most powerful aspect of 2020 after the Jan 12 Saturn conjunct Pluto. Saturn and Capricorn have brought the wrecking ball. Pluto brought the Virus and Jupiter is prejudice, but also outing the truth of the violence of racial injustice. Pluto in Capricorn is the Police, both good and bad, and hired killers. Jupiter often exaggerates conditions in initial situations not much is known about. We keep learning as different perspectives are considered. In Capricorn historical situations and what other governments have done can be profitably compared. Tradition is being reassessed. Old icons are tumbled. Jupiter is so much the traveler, but with the Virus, and Jupiter in Capricorn, the sign of limitations, necessities only, no such luck for now. Pluto can be the scandal, fighting over inheritances, funding, or fund the most amazing healing research and a center with exceptional care for victims. We have been seeing amazing caring and people stepping up to the plate. You see this aspect has a great range, extremes. And both can happen at once. Keep your life clean or Jupiter in Capricorn the law, Pluto the Police, will be knocking on your door. Jupiter RX sextile Neptune Jupiter’s companion aspect to its conjunction with Pluto soothes the waters, yet keeps the dream alive! Jupiter is publishing and that’s the video, Neptune, of George Floyd, a clearly suffering (Neptune) human at the unkindness of bullies. Jupiter can be bullies – opinionated, condescending and prejudiced. A sextile represents an opportunity. Jupiter also wants the truth and Neptune is what’s hidden. Though a very sad circumstance, Mr Floyd becoming a martyr at the cost of his life, good will come from this man giving his life. Neptune is Spirit. Jupiter is Justice. It’s about time for some Spiritual Justice. Worldwide people are rising. Jupiter is retrograding back to meet Neptune again July 27 and will be in close continuous connection through the third aspect Oct 12. This isn’t over yet. And it all will affect the elections. SECOND Cancer New Moon! 

Monday July 20 at 10:33 AM Pacific 28 Cancer 27

Hard work is showing rewards, Venus/Mercury are moving forward, time to move on!

Some call it a Double New Moon. If there are two New Moons in a month the second is called a Black Moon. Maybe this too, in the same sign, could be called a Black Moon?

We started with the first new Moon at ZERO degrees, totally fresh! It was seriously engaged with Saturn, the planet of Cancer’s opposite sign Capricorn. Saturn was retrograde at ZERO degrees Aquarius, about to return to Capricorn, his own sign. They were askew by angle and Saturn was in an unpredictable sign not always comfortable to Moon, the 27 day planet who tends the hearth fires. Yet she herself changes a lot every 27 days, so, in a way, always something new afoot, and both Cancer and Aquarius are community minded.

This second Cancer New Moon is at 28°, very close to the end of Cancer, experienced. Moon and Sun are imminently exactly opposite Saturn now IN his own sign at 28° Capricorn! Moon is in her own sign, so both are potently in their places of power. Cancer is not always considered a ‘powerful’ sign, but personally I wouldn’t mess with her. She can call the tribe and all her ancestors! Sun is right there with her, and he is the Man! Cancer is food, home and family while Capricorn works in the world, provides protection and shelter. He carries the law while Cancer nurtures with feelings. He makes her aware of their responsibilities, the need for children to grow up successfully. Cancer makes him know how people/children are different, have different timing than his. Both are excellent at business. Cap is a hard worker, takes care of necessities. Cancer broods, at times like a broody hen maybe, but has her finger on the pulse of the people! She knows what people need, and when they will want it, the best emphasis for business.  

With Saturn back in his sign Capricorn we again have a 3 Outer Planet Stellium! Jupiter/Pluto are still at the Bowl chart base, still close after their June 29 retrograde conjunction. Saturn will remain in Capricorn until his final change into Aquarius Dec 16. For the moment, all three are retrograde, but Saturn is now within 5° of Pluto putting all three in working distance of each other. Saturn goes back to 25°, traveling closely within 3° of Pluto until they turn forward. Saturn turns Sep 28/29; Pluto turns Oct 4. Saturn travels more quickly and soon leaves Pluto behind. Jupiter, however, has already turned Sep 12 at 17° and quickly catches up with Pluto for their final Nov 12 conjunction! While together the threesome have many similar ideas but tend to work toward them separately until Pluto and Jupiter get close. Then there is a perhaps a surprising merger, unexpected funding tips the scales. Whatever it is, Jupiter will make it famous. It can be very bad or very good, likely both. 

Important matters will continue to include what’s already on the table: learning, careers, healing/vaccine, free speech, laws and enforcement, justice, human rights, sexuality and gender, money and defunding or funding, boycotting harmful people or businesses, finding new ways to long held matters that have needed changing. Please be kind to each other and do what you can in a good way. Step up to the plate. Sometimes we marvel that such a simple solution wasn’t seen before. Just takes one person to say it, but it might have taken a lot of ideas to make that one finally pop up! 

Another Bowl chart!

New Moon, Moon in her own sign Cancer are leading! Mercury is with them in Cancer following along behind, acting as the sweep. His duty is to help other followers, keep the trail clean behind them. There may be joiners that want to know what’s happening and what they can do. Mercury is logical and credible, while in Cancer more personally concerned, combines thoughts and feelings making nurturing connections. The newcomers join in. They become a family of a kind. 

Mercury and Venus are both now moving forward after their double retrograde June 17 to 24. They complete their entire retrograde cycles July 25 and 28 with the Jupiter RX Sextile Neptune, Venus square Neptune right between them on the 27th! Mercury and Venus retrograde sorted and sifted, thought and talked, smelled the roses and baked bread. So much has changed we are all adjusting and it isn’t done. But they moving forward are putting their ideas into action, exploring new ground in today’s world. Working together is comforting and we can all contribute in our own special way. New alliances are being made as we find certain people want more of the same things we want than what we knew about them before. Circumstances have leveled the playing field and we have the blessing of more mutual goals.  

Jupiter RX Sextile Neptune and Venus square Neptune are making the vision of major planetary changes apparent to many. It will be how we treat our Earth and her beings, including each other. Jupiter wants the whole TRUTH, draws deep from Neptune’s dreams, the fathomless well of Spirit. There are lies, scams, prejudice, judgments, but many will be revealed. Jupiter ultimately wants the long term best for all. This is a time to teach through parables. We can’t all be there, but a well told story makes us feel like we are. Venus is questioning the dream, picks out what she deems worthy. She knows how to ‘dress up’ ideas that at first may appear unpalatable or impossible. She gleans important points that many overlook. That’s one of her special graces. She gets to know people through her appreciation of them and so much more is revealed. Even if you don’t understand, you can appreciate someone’s effort. Mercury does square Mars now and exactly on the Jupiter sextile Neptune the 27th. Mars is now in his own sign Aries! Impatience is likely. Mercury may be going about grumbling under his breath. He tries to be nurturing in Cancer, but Mars may be too pushy or too personal too quick. Mars may prod relentlessly, noisily. He wants new now, but Cancer is traditional. My Mother always did it that way. He likely means well, but Cancer is a more tender sort. She may be looking for security and she intuitively knows he can be gone in a minute to an enticing new opportunity. Mercury may be a little confused at some news and not in the mood, tired and worried, yet has to deal with events as they come. There could be an accident, an upset tummy. Mars just wants to get going! He thinks Cancers just need to make up their mind and get over it! Well, that could be true, but there is a human in there doing the best they can. Take it easy – you don’t want to have words. If you push too hard you may lose their friendship forever.

So Mercury, get your rest, talk when you feel up to par. Mars, just know everyone isn’t like you. You are terrific, but we are all here together. If you are saving a life, then do what you do. Mercury, appreciate what a leader this person is. Hear them out, then per the time frame available, let them know where you stand. Mercury is about to sextile Uranus and square Chiron for the third of three times! Sextile Uranus is good connections with friends, such great strange but genius ideas! Good Sci Fi! Cancer TOTAL SOLAR Eclipse, South America, Chile and Argentina. Per Earthsky, this is first total solar eclipse since the great American total solar eclipse of August 21, 2017. It will be the last total eclipse of the sun to grace Earth’s sky until December 14, 2020. See the details at EarthSky!

Moon is in her own sign! Sun is brightening her day! Moon is warmed, sees into her own legacy, feels comfortable to release some of her past. She is always learning, growing, certain fears are behind her now that she sees she is capable of taking care of herself. There is always a little girl, little boy part of every Cancer. Trusting yourself means you can include more people who have different ideas, or ways not like your family’s. Moon makes that 27/28 day cycle 12 to 13 times a year. She takes in all the signs; she circles your entire chart! She sees the linkages, the collective interaction. She has been gathering information, giving as she can as she has gone along. The New Moon most closely, by standard aspects, is opposite Saturn, the planet of Cancer’s opposite sign Capricorn! There is a censor in the room. Mythologically Saturn is a man, but as an Earth planet is considered to be feminine. There is a soft underbelly, a vulnerability. This is a good time for them to communicate across the kitchen table. Father Sun and Chief Saturn both want dominance. Set that aside for a few minutes and just listen to each other. Think it over and come back later. There will be value in both sides. Sun wants to be himself and be released from antiquated laws. Saturn feels secure with laws, wants to be respected, knows times change. Sun can go in with admiration and gratitude for how Saturn held it all together. Saturn can go in as an equal, grateful for Sun’s courage to test new ways. Sun’s radiance can help us step up, to see the way! 

Saturn is at the Moon’s South Node while Moon and Sun approach the opposite point, the North Node. Fate is afoot. Many think Saturn is the past, even past karma. Moon and her sign Cancer are thought to be what we came from in past lives. The Nodes are the Moon’s nodes! For some there is an awareness of past lives, and some have a photographic memory of early happenings of this life! To make that more indelible, Moon and Saturn rule Mother and Father, those most of us knew from our earliest existence. If not, we wished for them, missed what we would never have. At this time there is a bit of a shake down. How were things really? Did one or the other parent favor us or us glorify one of them? It takes a certain maturity to see every person as a human with goodness and faults and foibles. When we are strong enough, we can afford to admit our own faults, and the faults of loved ones we depended on, that it’s ok, even lovable, to be human.  

In case you were wondering, yes, Saturn and Pluto have been closely and intensely together since January. Saturn has retrograded and is faster than Pluto, so their challenges are lessening for now. Saturn is not one to forget what needs doing. He’s committed and reliable, so though leaving Pluto, will still be tending the projects. Being retrograde, he will see what was missed before, is now more ready to take on some of that unfinished business. Pluto brings up financial matters, power, deeper relationships, life and death, healing. Saturn wants right rules – laws, hard work, building, reality checks, picking up the pieces and renovation. 

The first pair of aspects Saturn and Jupiter made to Neptune were at 14 degrees. June 16 and 18 they were at 18 degrees. They will lay back until fall, but are continuously close in degrees. They finish Sep 21 Jupiter, Nov 8 Saturn. After the Sep aspect they part company, but both the Sep and Nov aspects are at 16 degrees!  So it goes 14, 18, 16 degrees. If you have chart factors 15 to 17 degrees you will be connected to all three! Jupiter has been encouraging Neptune to expand his vision. Saturn has been looking to see how it can all be done the most efficiently!

Saturn and Jupiter with Neptune June 16 and 18 brought us to review and strengthen our techniques, be reminded of the potency of Earth’s situation. Business, beliefs, posterity have all been on our minds. Jupiter brings the truth to old denials. He keeps the perspective of the big picture in mind and our intentions for the future guide our every choice. Jupiter is readying our plans and preparations. Learning and teaching are needed now to be in place for when we or others are ready for the next step. Be flexible and keep the faith! 

Mercury entered big hearted Leo the 26th. Fast spirited Mars is fresh, entered Leo the afternoon before the New Moon. Though Mercury is faster, they are close. He speaks with Mars over his shoulder, giving a few ideas of what to expect. These frisky two are proud in fiery Leo, ready to try some new things with flare and style! Square Uranus, the planet of Change, can be both formidable and fun! The task is large. Uranus is the planet of humanitarianism and Taurus is Earth herself! It’s a big calling. They can be shocked or pleased to be handed such a job worth of their abilities. Mercury in Leo likes to get the word out in volume, get people’s attention, center stage with bright lights, full entertainment mode! Mars is undaunted, fearless and heroic! He can be the athletic champion leading the parade! They do like to do it their own way, by their trademark style, and Mars is independent. Tell them what you need, get out of their way, let them work it out! Done in a flash!

While Mercury and Mars are out pushing the boundaries, Venus is about to change signs from Gemini to Cancer, the next morning, sweetening Cancer’s month. Graciously say what you need to get said, then be ready to listen to the kids, fix a gourmet meal or two, try a new recipe, talk with the Mamas and Papas. Crochet some lace for the bride’s dress. Business could be good as what you sell is prettied up. Cancer is a great sign of business, cycles, things we need on a daily basis. Do a little conservative safe investing. At the end of the day welcome intrepid Mercury and Mars back home! They will need some TLC – a good meal and a comforter. Being at full spirited tilt is a complete workout, body, mind and Soul.

June 16 & 18 2019 Jupiter/Saturn were with Neptune at 18 Pisces. The nine months of Jupiter/Saturn Neptune aspects lead up to the Nov 11 Transit of Mercury Retrograde Eclipse of the Sun at 18 Scorpio. And its sister aspect Nov 19 is Jupiter conjunct the Galactic Center! at 27 Sagittarius. Those in turn prepare us for the 22 Capricorn Jan 12, 2020 Saturn Conjunct Pluto and the Mar 21 4 Planet Capricorn Stellium, The Crown! at 23-29 Capricorn as Saturn changes signs! April 4, 2020 starts a three time Jupiter conjunct Pluto sequence. As Saturn prepped with demolition, Jupiter will clean out the remaining nest then regroup and prosper. Full Moon! Hearts open wide, hands across the table. Moon in Capricorn, Sun in Cancer. Moon is discreet in Capricorn, a bit formal perhaps, cares about its work, takes responsibilities seriously. She sweetly gives eldercare, makes sure everyone at work eats on time and well. Moon in Cap is frugal and doesn’t waste time. She capitalizes on the regs and expects standards to be kept. Children are encouraged to do their chores, contribute to family needs. When able she contributes to research, especially nutritional research and home technology for better sustainable living. Moon can be in charge of construction crews, at times, all women groups!

Sun in Cancer cheers her on, lighting the way to new connections with a further reach into the community! Moon and Capricorn, music and composers, may combine their sounds. It’s pattern starts at least 5 days before July 9, just after the New Moon Solar Eclipse, as the Sun moves to the Moon’s Nodes, opposite Saturn at the South Node! It Involves repeated aspects to Pluto, Saturn, Neptune and the Moon’s Nodes. The sequence of aspects finishes July 21 when Venus opposes Pluto. It’s intense since it involves heavy hitters Pluto and Saturn and the planets involved are fully aware of each other in conjunction and opposite points!

Triple Eclipse! With Saturn and Capricorn of Karma and Dharma, Pluto in Capricorn – a powerful antagonist and protagonist, the Moon of the Past and ancestral memories – lots of deep emotions, the Moon’s Nodes – an important axis of balance of past and present/future, you can see the depth of this Eclipse! Not only is it a Lunar Eclipse, but Moon also occults (eclipses) Saturn and Pluto! It’s like a triple Eclipse! So we have direct shots not only between Moon, Sun and Earth, but also Moon, Saturn, Pluto and Earth! Open up your perception to receive the profound information channeled at this time. Cleanse and take good care of yourself in preparation. Fortify yourself and be in a safe place so you can feel free to be vulnerable.

In addition to three Eclipses, the Full Moon is connected by a T Square with three Fixed Stars! The Sun is between Pollux and Procyon at 23 and 25 Cancer, opposite Moon, and Arcturus squares them from the T point at 24 Libra! Arcturus can act as a scanner, sender and/or receive transmissions it dispurses to the others. Cancer Sun and Moon Capricorn are already activating parental and partner factors. These Stars will bring more subtle factors into play as well. Pollux is one of the Gemini Twins, is considered to be the ‘immortal’ Twin. With the Sun, he is considered to have ‘Occult and theosophical interests,’ or per Elsbeth Ebertin, be ‘the wicked boy.’ Just as Mars has its good sides, if the energy it creates is channeled constructively, so can Pollux. Procyon is THE star of Canis Minor, Orion’s smaller hunting dog. It’s name comes from ‘Rising before Sirius, The Dog in Front.’ Author Robson says ‘Great help from friends, gifts and legacies if not afflicted, military preferment after great struggles and expense. If rising or culminating, kingly preferment.’

Arcturus at the T point mojo position, ‘has been an object of the highest interest and admiration to all observant mankind from the earliest times.’ Being the 4th brightest star, Seamen used it in navigation. But some gave it a ‘stormy reputation’ as well. In challenging aspects, like this one, being from Libra of the law, Ebertin says ‘If involved in legal action, such a native may lose all.’ Pay attention and use your own intuition. There is so much more to read about the Fixed Stars. For those whose charts that have factors in the Eclipse Pathway, 12 to 27 degrees, at some point your name will be called. The whole kit and caboodle will be a lot to take in while Mercury is retrograde 4 Leo back to 23 Cancer, changing our perspectives about ourselves while in Leo, and of our parents and culture while in Cancer! Keep your hip waders handy and hang onto your shovel since a lot of debris will be cleared out! But, for now, just put it aside until at least four days after Mercury goes direct the 31st. After that time things will become more clear and you won’t throw something away you wish you hadn’t!

July 11 Mars square Uranus, trine Chiron culminated. That square was frisky, and was coming to its height during the New Moon Solar Eclipse! Here are the three Moons of Leo 2017, July 23, Aug 7, Aug 21! The second day of Leo brings the first of TWO New Moons! The second Moon is the Full Green Corn Moon Lunar Eclipse.

The second New Moon in Leo, on the next to last day of Leo, is being referred to by some as the Great American Eclipse because it is the first Total Solar Eclipse visible in the US since 1979, 38 years! It also qualifies as a Black Moon, the third New Moon in a season which has four New Moons.

The day after the New Moon, July 24, the Leo/Virgo Mercury Retrograde cycle starts – not the retrograde, the cycle! The retrograde starts August 12 in Pacific time. Expect that projects begun from July 24 through Aug 12, will not come out exactly as planned. The exciting US Total Solar Eclipse is during the Retrograde part of the cycle – check your reservations in advance – confirm, confirm, confirm – everything! Mercury turns Direct/forward, the day before the Sep 6 Full Corn Moon. Be ready to be flexible, make it better and better through the time of the whole 3 part cycle. It finishes, Sep 19, the day of the Virgo New Moon! Clearly, this Mercury Retrograde cycle is linked with the MOON!

First Leo New Moon!
1st Grand Fire Trine, Zero Degree, 4 Planets in Leo!

Sunday July 23, at 2:46 AM Pacific, 0 Leo 44!

The fiery first New Moon has a four planet stellium in Leo, Sun and Moon with Mars, and about to change signs, Mercury, plus the North Node is there too!

Sun and Moon blaze with Mars, winning Leos first place! At zero and one degrees they are in first place as well as with the planet of the first sign, Aries! There is an untarnished gleeful energy. Could be said to be naive and untrained, but the way they see it, there is nothing to stop them either! Without thinking, they waste no time double guessing themselves and succeed at things the more experienced wouldn’t do! With clean intuition, they are fresh and blessed!

The blue triangle, a Grand Trine in fire, is considered lucky! Mercury and Moon’s North Node have consulted with sober Saturn, and are already seeing the wild potentials of Uranus in Aries! Inventions and solutions both!

Mercury is just a tad over a degree inconjunct Chiron in Pisces. Attention swings to the undercurrent, healing needed, subtle teachings soon to seep to a conscious knowing. Old hurts are reframed in a personal creative expression that changes them from dark to light, generously giving life again where it was feared to have been lost. There is a standing up, straightening the spine, a true-to-the-heart radiance.

Venus is at 20 Gemini, has left aspects with Jupiter and Pluto behind. She is now opposite Father Time, Saturn, afraid she might not be able to speak her mind, be doubted if she did. She may hesitate, yet feels there is a duty to be true. This jewel has too much beauty to neglect. Saturn offers his hand to help her get to her feet and cross the Threshold. He surprisingly encourages her, she gets to the crux of her messages at a perfect time!

August 4 brings the major background aspect, Jupiter square Pluto. It has been within 5 degrees of its square since June 23. This first Leo New Moon prepares the way, gives personal insights on how you can best see the square through. The square precedes the Leo/Aquarius August 7 Full Green Corn Moon Lunar Eclipse. The square is a rift maker and mender. What no longer serves falls apart, opening the gateway for healing and moving through to higher ground. Sometimes it’s piddly annoyances, other times you pray for your love, money and life! It takes away and doesn’t always give back. You may find yourself clearing the decks, lightening the load. Such a relief that’s over. You have room for new ways now.

Things won’t be entirely done by Aug 7. The Eclipse will deepen our understanding. No more dead wood to carry. The challenges you faced, if it aspects your personal chart, show you that you can work that hard for recovery or building strong good things that will last. The new foundation is better placed. The aspects in the New and Full Moon charts are excellent. You can do it!

Full Leo/Aquarius Green Corn Moon Lunar Eclipse!

Monday August 7, at 11:11 AM Pacific, 15 Aquarius 25!

The August 7 Full Green Corn Moon Lunar Eclipse spans from the Sun in its own sign Leo, glory be, to the Moon in wild and far reaching Aquarius! This calls for a gathering of lazy beachlings to a floating-on-the-winds hot air balloon ride!

The fire signs again prevail in a Grand Trine, this time loosely connected, with Moon between Saturn and Uranus, and Jupiter between Sun and Saturn! Uranus is in Aries, a mighty spark! Mars, Sun and the Moon’s North Node are in Leo, giving from the Heart of Light! Saturn is in Sagittarius, guiding the learning with well timed encouragement.

Sun/Moon-Jupiter-Saturn Bow Pattern!

Bows are formed when two planets are equidistant sextiles to a planetary axis. Moon and Sun are our axis. Sun sextiles Jupiter and Moon sextiles Saturn! Said another way, Sun trines Saturn, Moon trines Jupiter! See the three connected green lines in the chart connecting to the red line across the chart from Moon to Sun? That’s the Bow! The green lines create advantageous links between the planets across the red line, in this case, the Full Moon axis. Jupiter is lucky, Saturn gets the job done!

Moon trine Jupiter offers a significant public venue! Moon in Aquarius reads the mood of the people, unifies the community, spreads the word throughout the Internet, across the world! Friend to friend a collective is formed, changes made. Jupiter in Libra has super fortunate liaisons, generously funds collaborative efforts to educate to the furthest reaches, travel intelligently!

Sun crossed Mars July 26, still motivated by spirited Mars coming to a lucky sextile touch with Jupiter Aug 10! In this case it’s a dance, special sweet relationships! Put on your best shoes and win the race! New relationships will stir your blood.

Sun and Moon are abundant in their sextile and trine with Jupiter! Sun in his own sign Leo and Jupiter are both natural teachers! Leo is known for a dramatic and excellent performance, full of life and color! Jupiter is a grand storyteller, and in Libra embellishes his tales with insights and facts about people from far away places. Together, Sun in Leo and Jupiter in Libra play off each other with spellbinding and artfully inspiring entertainment!

Moon in Aquarius is also delighted with all the amazing people Jupiter in Libra connects them with! Could be the party of a lifetime, an extraordinary singer, an inventor with an uncanny idea! Some differences will not be bridged by having a mutual friend, so don’t expect everyone to become bosom buds. To everyone’s surprise, some unlikely people may become lifelong couples or business partners!

Sun and Moon are also in excellent aspects with Saturn in Sagittarius. The Sun trines; the Moon sextiles Saturn in just hours! It’s wonderfully productive on large scale projects, well monitored over a longer period of time, and includes intriguing foreign principles as well as imports! Exporting goes well too. Teaching goes well. There are fine presentations, that combine just the right balance of local necessity and international ventures.

Mercury is slowing to Retrograde Aug 12, so charming Venus in Cancer, moving faster, is making the sextile to Mercury in Virgo! The practical side of things gets done at home and at work too! Techniques are delightfully woven into our daily fabric. The Art gallery is in order, the finest are selected for cultural beauty, utility and fine craftsmanship. Though it is tempting to do beauty and body work, make clothing choices, it is so close to Mercury Rx, there is a good chance you won’t want the same things very soon. Be sure to get warranties, receipts for refunds. Quickly design your business card and logo. See if it withstands Mercury Rx before you print. Rather than remodel, design on paper and wait. Further options are quite likely to come along! Wait until about 5 days after Mercury turns forward/direct to get engaged. He turns forward Sept 5.

The August 4 Jupiter square Pluto has barely passed. If it activated your chart, it may have seemed a disaster, you may have narrowly avoided it, got sideswiped, or navigated it with panache! This Eclipse will deepen your perspective and encourage you to see new possibilities now that the old debris has been cleared. Give yourself a good shake, throw your shoulders back, lift your chin and go for it!

Second Leo New Moon, US SOLAR TOTAL ECLIPSE!  
3rd Grand Fire Trine! Jupiter Sextile Saturn Aug 27

Monday August 21, at 11:30 AM Pacific, 28 Leo 53!

What perfect charts are opening the way to our Total Solar Eclipse! Clearing the past, lots of winning high energy, gloriously being yourself, a strong focus on romance and relationships, teaching and giving, creative radiance and a willing heart of Love!

Customarily I calculate the New/Full Moon charts for my location, Santa Barbara CA, but this one is calculated for the location of the Greatest Duration, GD, of the Eclipse, Shawnee National Forest, just south of Carbondale IL, at the time of GD there, 1:20 PM CDT! The actual New Moon is 1:30 PM CDT. Please see all about the Eclipse here!

Mars, Initiation and Activation, is still in the picture, being the first one of the three Leo planets in the Eclipse chart. It just sextiled Lucky Jupiter  the day before – the race was won, and is powerfully finding its mark with its trine to the Master, Saturn Aug 22! Things are getting done with perfect timing, and they will last. Saturn has felt Mars coming and is ready now to turn with the tides.

Mercury is retrograde in one of his own signs, Virgo. Retrograde is a time of deeper delving. She’s taking notes, telling the story of our realizations. As she writes, she transposes here and there, things get out of order and the revelation is made, an accidental new order assuredly happens! There are times she forgets what happened exactly and the mind of the mind is invited to insert a different resolution, fill in the blanks from a more current context. Eclipses are all about Revelation!

Having come close to opposite Neptune in Pisces, logical Mercury in Virgo has had hints of the divine order that transcends that of worldly goods. But using that higher order as a model, connections made here have more meaning now. We can literally be transported by our good health, the ease of flow created easily carries us to the next level before we even realize we are there!

The Moon’s 24 degree North Node ties the early twenty degree planets, Mars and Saturn, with the later twenty degree planets, Uranus, Moon and Sun to make a THIRD Grand Fire Trine! Sun trined Uranus Aug 20, 11:23 PM Pacific, Moon trined 10:38 AM Pacific Eclipse morning. Leo, the sign of the SUN, is the LIGHT! Uranus is the charger, the planet of Moon and Sun’s opposite sign, Aquarius, the sign of electricity, LIGHTNING! We can SEE! We awake from our slumbers, are enlightened in some fabulous way! It can be thunderous or some gentle insight that changes our ways. It frees us from our Past, the flower blooms.

At late 28 degrees Leo, Moon and Sun are at the very last of Leo. The Lion is with fixed star Regulus the King, why not Queens too?! Regulus was at 29 Leo, but now is early 0 degree Virgo, the Maiden, Healing Goddesses! Virgo is the sign of service, and the royals must now make their contribution in high style, truly serve the People! I think of Justin Trudeau whose Ascendant is 3 Virgo.

At 28 degrees Moon and Sun are finishing up Leo in this super trine with Uranus. There is a supernatural harmony. Egos are nurtured and befriended. There is a celebration of the genius of difference and profound awakening. Divine minds. It’s a time of wholeness. One Heart, many Souls.

This 28 degree Leo is also important to the Mercury Retrograde cycle we are in at this time. The 3 part Mercury Retrograde cycle starts at 28 Leo and Mercury turns Direct/forward at 28 Leo. It is the root degree and sign of the Retrograde! The contemplation all starts with Leo, the sign of the Heart! Gold is its color! Heroes and athletes are favored. It is Self aware and creative from that central spark of the Light of the Sun!

Jupiter is leaving the Aug 4 square with Pluto behind. There will be remnants for awhile, ghosties that will need your attention so you don’t fall back. Any difficult times that have jumped on you will make you all the more determined to turn the tables, plug any leaks, clean up any last messes and move on to more amenable circumstances.

The once only Aug 27 Jupiter sextile Saturn is an outer planet combination offers opportunities of prosperity, enjoyable work, a solid future! Saturn is retrograde, going back to meet Jupiter. Each is willing. Jupiter in Libra has ideas of expansion, increasing the territory, franchises, more education, travel, publishing, including people from diverse cultures. Saturn in Sagittarius is the expert who builds the structures and systems, does real estate, the scientist, laws, the commander, CEO, master of timing and resources, considers age, the importance of Fathering, mentoring. He wants to see good things get done in a timely fashion, works hard for the goals. If it aspects your chart in a good way, pay particular attention Aug 24-26. See your astrologer!

This Eclipse will activate those things specifically in the US! Moon and Sun are teamed up in Sun’s own sign, the sign of Light, powering up the generators!

The next total solar eclipse over the continental U.S. occurs April 8, 2024 and it crosses the 2017 eclipse path near Carbondale Illinois! You could be there both times! Take your kids!

New Faery SuperMoon!  – 4 Planets Cancer; Mars, Jupiter, Neptune Set! 

Friday June 23, at 7:31 PM Pacific, 2 Cancer 47! 

June 23 to 25, NEW MOON, Midsummer & Fairy Day Weekend! Friday June 23 our Cancer New Moon is the day before Fairy Day June 24, Fairy Day Weekend! Just after Summer Solstice, many celebrate MidSummer, also known as Lithia, from dusk June 23 to and on June 24! In some countries June 24 is a public holiday. Since 1974, Santa Barbara CA has hosted an annual Summer Solstice celebration, typically on the weekend of or the weekend after the actual solstice. It includes a festival and parade. There will be beach bonfires and revelry!

This is the third New SuperMoon in a row, the last New SuperMoon of 2017! December’s Full Moon will be the last SuperMoon of 2017. This time, being in Cancer, the sign of emotions, the tides of our feelings may be heightened, our caring quotient raised. Children, especially some Cancer children, may need extra care, stick to the routine and feed the favorites! Adults may appreciate a tad more TLC as well!

Mama Moon is in her own sign, giving maximum support to Father Sun. She makes him feel the tides, cycles. He in her sign, she has the greatest opportunity to wash him clean, sweep through his Light, clear the cobwebs in the corners. Her divine feminine presence calls him to extend his radiance to all women and children, the feminine in all beings. They feel the traditions of all Time, in all places. There is a special consideration of cultures of the world, the knitting of communities, heart to heart.

New Moon, new beginnings, surrender to the wellspring within. There is unity in the merger of Moon and Sun. The bond is core deep in Cancer. She more than thinks it, she feels it completely. Inspiration is the conduit from things of our culture and time, the matriarchal lineage that precedes us, to our current knowing. Like a Kundalini of feeling, or a starburst of enlightening, a door opens for a few magical moments! Once seen/felt, there is a call to step forward. Cancer is a strong sign. Homes are made, children are born and raised by Her. When she takes on a mission, go with Her!

There are FOUR planets in Cancer, the Moon in her own sign, the New Moon conjunct Mercury, Mars not much further on, leading the way! Mother Moon is as intuitive as Mercury is logical. Moon will ‘feel’ Mercury’s words, see what’s helpful about them, and add her nurturing quality to them. Instead of it’s cold outside today, she says oh, grab your jacket, you might need it! Moon puts all the words together and kneads them into the Lunar cycle, incorporates them fully, lets them rise together. It’s an intuitively intelligent blend. Mercury has the ideas; Moon puts them into business! Commodities, you know. Super aware of public reaction, especially of women.

Sun, Moon and Mercury only aspect each other. This combination acts on its own, not closely connected with any other aspects, though all three of them will soon connect with Mars! Moon does with Mars midday Pacific time the next day! She feels how eager he is to press ahead. There is literally fire in the belly and since they both are in Cancer Moon truly understands that he must! She’s willing to help. Mercury conjuncts Mars midday the 28th. He and Mars are quick on their feet. Cancer is what we call a Cardinal sign. They get things started, initiate action, are the first to do it. Tradition may take a front seat, or be the backdrop that makes it all possible!

Please be cautious of hasty hurtful angry words. There could be more crabbiness than usual and it could mount up. It may clear the deck or end a friendship instantly. Talk sooner. Take time out. Leave before it gets bad. Don’t do those late at night tired talks. Agree to sleep on it knowing much will be resolved by your inner self in the dream time. Come at it fresh in the morning. It will be much quicker then, in fact you both may realize it was not such a big thing after all. If it is something, the resolution may be super simple.

Sun is another story! Mars is moving fast, Sun doesn’t catch up until after both have changed signs, July 26 at 4 LEO! Sun will be in his own sign; fiery Mars in the fiery sign of kings! Having both been together in Cancer, they saw what needs doing in behalf of families, housing, hame community. It is their hearts to use colorful creative solutions, make a place, maybe a school, for others to lend their brilliance and inspiration as well!

For his part, Mars squares Jupiter late the next day and trines Neptune through late the 25th Pacific times. Mars is so quick to see, especially in intuitive Cancer. Jupiter in Libra is busy seeing both sides, trying to negotiate. He gets lots of admiration for his broad vision, being a world traveler, working with the arts. Mars says, get to the point, make up your mind, take care of your loved ones at home and do it NOW! Children are hurting while you are exercising your arrogance and intelligence. Ok, says Jupiter, we need to get some laws on the books and find supportive alliances. Mars pricks Jupiter’s conscience about priorities. Jupiter can do a great job, just need a little motivation. He can take those kids on trips and get scholarships for them to the art school too!

At home there could be exaggerated discord, fires of sorts. No fighting in the kitchen. In town, stay out of dark allies, and don’t break the law. In the world there could be attacks, or maybe a felt need to defend one’s homeland and preserve our principles. Religion may factor in, and most assuredly, politics. Keep your first aid kit and insurance up to date.

Mars trine Neptune will help you dance through this. When the bullet comes, don’t be there. Do your Tai Chi. Mars in Cancer is adept at turning sideways and making a much smaller target, able to slither through the smallest spaces and magically dis/appear somewhere else! Neptune in his own sign Pisces has similar virtues. Both have spiritual intention. Mars is the initiation leader, moving us forward from old ways, literally changing our identity as we arrive in the new destination! Neptune is the shapeshifter of consciousness, freeing us from confusion and illusion. Mars in Cancer is active and stirs the waves of oceanic Pisces. He steps into the Pisces dreamtime without ceremony, and the Pisces magician is glad to be awakened! Dreams come true!

Jupiter connects the loop by inconjuncting Neptune! The New Moon is connected through the links Moon, Mercury and Sun will make with Mars, that in turn aspects both Jupiter and Neptune! Jupiter Inconjunct Neptune is the underlying important long term outer planet aspect that this New Moon is all about. They first conjuncted Oct 23, 2016. Currently they have been in station, holding the connection from their 2nd to 3rd aspect, within 1 degree since before May 17th! They are closing to make their final inconjunct July 4, just before the July 8 Full Buck/Hay Moon! This New Moon is the one offering core support, unconditional nurturing, key intuition for clear seeing through these final days.

As Mars stirs Neptune in harmony from the sign Cancer of Lunar cycles, Jupiter is seeking oblique openings into the far reaches of the greatest understanding of all. It’s not just profound words, righteous ethics, holy principles, but more, matters of the Soul. The unique lifetimes of Being. How that all fits in planetary progress as a growing conscious Entity in the Universe. Due to massive political changes at this time, huge adjustments are being made, solutions sought. It is becoming clear what is most important and what part each of us needs to do personally.

Jupiter is ever optimistic, and with Libra partnerships and alliances world wide, much can be done. It’s not just for fun and games, lightweight pretty social events all the time anymore. Our connections are more meaningful than ever, and can be powerful. Neptune could have been meditating, but now, perhaps, it needs more to be a wakeful observant walking meditation of action. The Savior needs to do some saving! The old non-violent martial forms were always about self preservation, inner strength. The Silent Warriors taught resistance and success by the example of living an exemplary life, living true. Jupiter in Libra has the scanner. It seeks that balance between principle and action, deeper insights through connections. It seeks those who have the inner fibre, that can be called on to stand strong.

Last month’s note: Jupiter in Libra inconjuncts that Neptune in Pisces. Jupiter shifts gears, directions and alliances. Good thing Neptune is quick on the uptake and understands most of the time. Jupiter likes social chatting and international conditions. There are times Pisces prefers solitude, to gently contemplate freely, making associations of mind and Spirit. He seeks intuition rather than advice from well dressed experts. Yet both have their truths and offerings. Important not to judge or to slur each other’s style. Sometimes legal matters take precedence, other times it’s the Court of Heaven that offers insight to the right thing to do. Rather than living in self chosen poverty, as Pisces can sometimes do, Jupiter in Libra leads us to the right school that brings you to the door of happiness doing what you always wanted to do! Could be art, music, design, being with people who celebrate exactly who you are!

Additional aspects, not in this Mars/Jupiter/Neptune set. Venus trines Pluto in earth signs Taurus and Capricorn. Venus in Taurus wants every comfort possible, sweetly. Pluto in Capricorn can easily do without, even prides itself on how less is more. In conservation that is admirable. And you can do without this to have that! Venus may pamper the old gent like never before, spoiling his integrity or helping him know he deserves more, the best! She may show him some values he just never thought about before. He may curb her self indulgence. A nice partnership may be formed. He may fund her campaign, or surprisingly, she may have the funds to start the foundation herself, and he may donate further endowments for expansion. Healing on many levels are likely – body, skin and bones.

The North Node is retrograding back to trine Saturn in Sagittarius. Karmic solutions are loved to growing beyond old fears of new territory. Teaching and pathfinding, intentions are realistically expanded, worked at daily with pleasure. The North Node recently also trined Uranus in Aries. Changes and new ventures were led out into the open, action taken to assure their continued success since Saturn has been on board as well. New friends and business alliances have been made. A union has been called into being, many Souls seeking the same goals.

Not all has been easy with Saturn having been square Chiron April 30. Saturn and Chiron are separating their square by 5 degrees now. They will be back but not until Nov 2. Though there were no major world events close to April 30, the threats of heartbreaking news was with us, and some suffered personal defeats in love, health or business. The aspect is fading now, but do continue to repair, make amends, heal what can be healed. Learn what you can, be kind to yourself and others. Less of being the martyr, more of standing good heartedly for potential and possibilities. Be real and work for it. Be counted. See more, #3 at this link

Saturn in Sagittarius is still in close trine, but retrograding away from Uranus. Work and education, friendships and networking are expanding the opportunities! Full Buck – Hay Moon! 4 Planet Full Moon Axis: Moon/Pluto & Sun/Mars!

It is a 10-unit apartment building with an oculus in the middle that will be called The Full Moon. You can see why Rand is called the Space Whisperer!

The building is on a North/South axis! Here’s what it will look like at night – imagine the Full Moon views!

Though Cancer is a water sign, moist and fertile, and veggies are growing prolifically in the summer Sun, the Full Hay Moon is also the time grasses are drying and first hay being baled! The Capricorn Moon is aware of the timing, willing to work hard to get winter stores in for the stock. Bales are a good sturdy and useful shape that fit so snugly together on trucks and in barns. Pleases a Capricorn’s heart! Perfect time for summer party hayrides!

Full Moons are expansive, broadening. Cancer is Mom at home, lots of maternal feelings, protective; Capricorn is Dad the realist at work supporting home and family, concise and getting the job done on time. Both fire planets, they are swimming along together in water sign Cancer, aware of the new cycle unfolding before them. They are feeling their way, intuiting and anticipating each other. Mars is exact inconjunct Saturn in Sagittarius at 22 degrees! In Cancer, Mars is more likely not to be taken in by Saturn in Sag’s scholarly reputation though it is tempting. Mars in Cancer can tempt Saturn to quit wandering, there’s no place like home, to come back where the grass is greener. Mars reminds Saturn, the planet of the sign opposite Cancer, that there’s more than philosophy, there are passionate feelings too. That each culture is a ‘home’ to its people, not just something to be studied. Saturn invites Mars to travel with him for a time and see how faiths can be so different yet there is so much about people everywhere that is the same.

A lot hotter is Mars coming to square Uranus in Aries, Mars’ sign! They are in sniffing distance now, building to exact July 17! Each is independent and freedom loving! Quick, quick, quick! Sometimes accidental, they might fall into something so different and perfect! Not usually such a risk taker, Cancer may be shocked at events, certainly shaken loose from what used to be, and some of that her own doing! Sex may be bold, offensive or a surprise so electric you lost your socks! You don’t know whether to be sad or happy!

The Fixed Star Vega is at 15 Capricorn 19 within two degrees of our Moon in Capricorn! Vega is a pale sapphire star in the Constellation Lyra, the Harp of Orpheus. According to Elsbeth Ebertin: ‘In a good cosmic configuration, Vega is supposed to give artistic talents especially for music and acting, but also a liking for good living. With eccentric artists, this may lead to a debauched life. In connection with the Moon or Neptune a tendency for occult and mysticism may be given.’ Some say it covers everything it touches with enchanting charisma.

Vega is also close in square with Jupiter and sextile Neptune. In the square with Jupiter it may be entirely too much of a good thing, exaggerated principles, seductive teachings that are too good to be true by unqualified instructors. It could be pure grace sextile Neptune. It could put you in touch with dreams beyond your wildest beliefs, spellbinding artistic and musical performances that transport the audience.

The last Jupiter inconjunct Neptune is exact July 4, and is quite close still, but will be fading. Recently this has been a backdrop aspect since May 10, potently in a 1 degree aspect all this time! This aspect was the one immediately preceding the Nov 8 Presidential Elections, and initiated a set of SIX aspects late 2016 that were spread throughout 2016, finishing Nov 11, 2017.

Optimistic Jupiter in Libra visions as far off in time and space as it can! Neptune IS time and space, boundless. An inconjunct aspect invites exploration, peripheral vision, a detour to another dimension! It’s a bit off center, disturbing, but exactly as it should be to get our attention!

Jupiter in Libra is like tilting the tides of humanity back and forth until the remaining ones stand at the center, able to be stable as the world shifts around them. Jupiter always looks for the best, finely tuned in Libra! Neptune in Pisces runs the tides and shifts the sand we stand on. We need to be able to not just stand, but to flow, to compensate, at times swim and merge with higher powers, to make adjustments fluidly. Dreams can come true as we learn divine navigation.

Our May new SuperMoon is the second of three in a row 2017 New SuperMoons, the closest supermoon of the year! We may experience higher tides in our thinking, excited about new ideas that merge and spread. Grads will find themselves thinking about whether to go on with school, where to go, what to do! It may be a little overwhelming for everyone.

Only a week ago we finished the exact Jupiter inconjunct Neptune and Saturn trine Uranus May 17 and 18. Jupiter inconjunct Neptune will stay with us until July 4, 48 days! It is what we call being in Station, at the turn of Jupiter’s retrograde to direct/forward. It turns forward on the June 9 Full Strawberry – Rose Moon! Every New and Full Moon through the July 8 Full Buck Moon will have this aspect strongly.

The New Moon is not in close degrees with the Jupiter inconjunct, nor is it making any close aspects to any other planets. It stands on its own. Moon is Mother nurturer and at New Moons feeds Father Sun. In Gemini you can bet it is alphabet soup! She whispers tiny thoughts to take his mind off things, sings faery songs, dances in the light, does the crossword puzzle with him at the breakfast table. She makes a quick run, checks the neighbors cat on her way home. Then they are off for the day, gathering choice bits of information here and there. A few errands, home for dinner and a quick exchange of hugs and updates. A settle in or friends over. Sweet dreams, talking in your sleep.

There are lots of connections at 19 and among the 20s degree planets.

Venus Squares Pluto. Love is being tested. Pluto in Capricorn claims experience and age on his side. Venus in Aries stamps her foot, wants what she wants right now and is willing to fight about it. Pulling rank doesn’t fly with her. She’s wanting what’s new, to take a risk. He’s wanting the way it has been or the most practical at the least cost. It will take some give and take plus a little time to work it out.

Jupiter in Libra inconjuncts that Neptune in Pisces. Jupiter shifts gears, directions and alliances. Good thing Neptune is quick on the uptake and understands most of the time. Jupiter likes social chatting and international conditions. There are times Pisces prefers solitude, to gently contemplate freely, making associations of mind and Spirit. He seeks intuition rather than advice from well dressed experts. Yet both have their truths and offerings. Important not to judge or to slur each other’s style. Sometimes legal matters take precedence, other times it’s the Court of Heaven that offers insight to the right thing to do. Rather than living in self chosen poverty, as Pisces can sometimes do, Jupiter in Libra leads us to the right school that brings you to the door of happiness doing what you always wanted to do! Could be art, music, design, being with people who celebrate exactly who you are!

Mercury in Taurus sextiles Neptune! Time to get the word out. Go to the specialty school. Let the dream come true, find it a safe place, a home to grow in. Along with your fine intuition, get steady in the work. A bit at a time will do nicely. Be patient, speak kindly, but say it. Be there.

Mars in Gemini sextiles Uranus in Aries! Now that’s Spark! Mars is the planet of Aries! It loves to be first, an innovator, the consultant. In Gemini it loves variety, to move and mutate, adapt and deliver! Uranus is the ultimate lead, a planet of friendship, community purpose, internet, worldwide flight and organizations for the best and betterment for all! Mars will never be bored and never be done with all that potential! Uranus will be thrilled with the new kid on the block, how quickly ideas are put together. Occasionally things may be a bit premature, but you gotta laugh at the delight as new things are tested, corrected, attempted again until they get it right! Time to celebrate!

Mars Mutables TSquare with Chiron and Saturn

Mars squares Chiron in Pisces. Mars may be stunned by how Chiron’s feelings might have been hurt, and back away. Chiron may be thinking how Mars didn’t realize there could be a lack of health or physical ability, a thoughtless statement made. Whoa! Let’s all backup a bit. Slow it down. Mars in Gemini isn’t known for patience, so keep to short sentences, statements and requests. Agree to meet again very soon. Due to the differences in tempos, it may end with an agreement to let go of your connection for now. But if possible, let’s not let this fester and lose each other entirely. Be friends but not work together? Aside from this, there could be injuries to hands or feet. Burns, rashes. Or Mars jumps in with new remedies that are remarkable!

Saturn and Chiron are separating their square by 2 degrees now. They will be back but not until Nov 2. There is going to be plenty of time to think things over after the April 30 square. This is not considered an easy aspect, some even call it a ‘heartbreak’ aspect, tough on relationships if the degrees activate your chart in the romance dept. Losses can be formidable seeming whether in love, health or business. Maybe you got in over your head, need to back up, slow down. Saturn in Sagittarius can be opinionated, a demanding instructor, intimidating. Or he can make you work extra hard to get things done and you’re glad that he did, couldn’t have done it by yourself. Back to school and on your feet. Chiron can be a weak spot, and you may be embarrassed for it, even in denial. But if you are facing up to it, Saturn can help you get over that threshold too! Mars is opposite Saturn in Sagittarius! If Saturn isn’t fast enough, Mars has got his boots on to give a forward kick to speed things up! Saturn is faster in Sagittarius, but Mars is in Gemini, the combination that is if you think it, you do it, now! Mars may have terrific ideas, but Saturn, the wise TaskMaster, knows the order of things, how to conserve energy and place it accurately both in time and space. To Mars it may feel like running into a brick wall, and it may be a lifesaving event! On the other hand, what brick wall wasn’t meant to be scaled with one flying leap?! If that Mars spunk is right, Saturn may wish he went too!

Saturn in Sagittarius is still in close trine, but retrograding away from Uranus. Work and education, friendships and networking expanding the opportunities! Gemini-Sagittarius is according to some spiritual systems the axis of Humanity, the Moon of Metropolis! The Good Word is spread near and far, no Soul neglected!

Orion’s Fixed Star Rigel was at 17 Gemini 02 in 2014, less than two degrees of the Sun/Full Moon axis and inconjunct Pluto. With the Sun, it is potent, noted for being lucky in enterprise, has technical and artistic ability, loves to gain wisdom and knowledge and to spread it to others as well. It has strong will power, love of action! Other factors being well, it can bring fame. If not well, it may be reckless and foolhardy. The Moon may feel deluged with words, though the Moon in Sagittarius may be hugely curious and ready to tag along just to see what will happen! Askew with Pluto may dredge up old obsessions that need clearing, free powers that have been abandoned, forgotten. Now they may be tempted to come back into the Light! Things might be more safe than they used to be.

This 18 degree Sun/Moon axis was with Jupiter, trine and sextile. Sun was lighting the way, charging the valence with Jupiter in Libra May 29 to June 3! Invitations were extended, meetings held, liaisons made, balance sought, honors awarded! Moon in Sagittarius, Jupiter’s sign, sextiled Jupiter June 8 at 6:45 PM Pacific, remembering, confidence and optimism reestablished, hope restored! Jupiter being in Station, standing still, has kept that focus. TODAY, at 7:04 AM, less than an hour after the Full Moon, Jupiter turns Direct/forward! Gradually energy of the previous days will be released!

Sun and Moon are in the SAME degree with Pluto in Capricorn. There is a test. Sun in Gemini is aware that certain things are not to be said, others to be revealed in a good way. Some things are universal property, others are personal, not to be stolen or copied. No pickpockets while traveling, take precautions. No uninvited picking people’s minds, or uninvited psychic mind reading. Just because you can’t see it doesn’t make it right. Moon in Sagittarius is a Seeker, comforting people with perspective, enjoying diversity wherever it goes. It shares what it has learned, dispersing knowledge and insights. This luscious Full Moon, the second in Gemini, in the last 12 hours and last degree of Gemini, is opening the Gateway to Cancer with a spread of fully enriched data and the wisdom to know what to do with it! Cancer, ever the scholar, is delighted! Full Moon is 4:03 AM Pacific, the Sun enters Cancer 3:34 PM! Happy Summer Solstice!

SECOND Gemini Full Moon! The May 21 Full Flower Blue Moon was at 1 Sagittarius 14. This Full Strawberry Moon is 29 Gemini/Sag 33! In Blue Moon parlance, the current popular definition is the second Full Moon in a month is a Blue Moon. So in astrological parlance (a sign equates roughly to a month), since this is the second Full Moon in the Sign, I’ll call it a Blue Moon too!

The three Gemini Moons each supported an outer planet transit combination!

• The May 21 first Full Moon, the Flower Blue Moon, brought in Gemini, and Mercury turned forward/direct the next day, and opening the gate before the May 26 last Jupiter square Saturn!
• The June 4 New Moon opened the new cycle that set up the June 17 second Saturn square Neptune that remains with us until Sep 10. That square precedes this Full Moon by only three days, the square giving its support to the Strawberry Moon!
• This June 20 Full Strawberry Moon happens just before, the same day the Sun goes into Cancer, and supports the June 26 Jupiter trine Pluto!

What is ethical, undeniable, must be spoken for our life to line up with our Soul’s commitment. We are at the threshold. The past is the past, choices are made, we go forward even if we don’t choose and not choosing becomes the choice. And so it is. Breathe well.

Moon and Sun are leaving squares to Chiron behind. Chiron is at the point of their T Square. About five days ago Sun challenged Chiron, the healings, teaching, maybe even added to the trouble. One person’s many ideas, confusing and overwhelming. Or they kept up the dialogue until someone finally listened and a breakthrough was made. There was logic versus intuition, possibly words were finally spoken and understanding dawned. Moon followed late yesterday, emotional, fiery, passionately encouraging, wanting us to look ahead, see the potentials for better or worse, just wanting the truth, meaning well. Chiron may have felt overwhelmed by that too, but infinitely glad someone cares even if you can’t get a word in edgewise, LOL! Will think about it.

Mercury, Gemini’s planet, is forming the fourth point of the Mutable Cross, Grand square! It is same degree opposite Saturn, one degree square Neptune, closely square Jupiter!

• Jupiter is leaving Saturn, but Mercury is inviting a little more thinking about things. Jupiter wanted big and technically excellent. Saturn wanted to build but perhaps not in the expected location. Jupiter is generally trusting, but in Virgo skeptical. Saturn wants the facts, Sag says oh just let’s get on with it, or suggests yet another location – they love to travel! Saturn may be in denial, but Jupiter isn’t about to let that pass. And on around it goes. Now Mercury has heard it all and in one of its own signs, chats it out, brainstorms, possibly getting an unexpected consensus! Or, so much more input will be added, it all goes over the top, each going their separate ways. Forget about it! Huh. But none will be the same as before….
• Saturn and Neptune will square June 17, coming right up! Mercury is logical, and downright smart in Gemini! It’s the same degree opposite Saturn in Sagittarius! Saturn may listen, though you gotta weave your way through the Sagittarius opinions, dropping hints and ideas here and there. One thing leads to another. Serious Saturn is keen on reality, and Sag loves another good story, so keep dropping those bread crumbs. Take ’em to the show so they can see it for themselves. Saturn might want you to make an appointment, show proper respect. Gemini is youthful and Saturn can be the cool Master. Keep your dignity, or make them laugh in spite of themselves! There’s no way to sneak up on Neptune. They know you’re on the way before you do! At times their intuition will trump your logic. Fine. Other times your fine logic will show them what a fool they have been and they will thank you for it. Sometimes it will seem like they are a confused mush, you could look right through them like glass, and no one is home. How do you talk to that?! If there are addiction issues, that could be true. But don’t confuse that with their waking dreams, or underestimate them or their dreams. They have magic on their side and it usually will prove out. They can be super dedicated Souls. There will be perfect times for each of you to use your talents.

Mars is potently in station, ‘standing still,’ at 23 Scorpio. If we use a 1 degree range for the station, it started June 18, Mars directs, turns forward, June 29, continues within 1 degree until July 12. It inconjuncts Uranus while retrograde June 18 and when direct July 13. This whole period of time will call for wider awareness, and because of that, adjustments. It makes sense to look aside, check out a side trip, pay attention, not let things slip by. We can be dazed by the wild Uranus in Aries, explosive, entertaining, strange and wonderful. Mars in Scorpio often feels invisible and invincible, inordinately curious! Either of them can have a temper. Uranus goes off like firecrackers; Mars in Scorpio smoulders. If you feel the heat rising, leave right now. Backup may be wise. If Uranus is complacent, not their usual venue, it could be a kickstart from Mars is on cue! If they are valuable but scaring people and losing their audience, Scorpio can show them how to hang onto themselves. Maybe one or both of them needs an adventure to spice their life. Can do! Be aware of how others may feel, be ready to take responsibility for any consequences. The ‘friendship’ may be short lived, but never forgotten!

Whatever didn’t happen when Jupiter squared Saturn, and you might even be glad for that,  will more than be made up for by Jupiter trine Pluto in Capricorn, Saturn’s sign, June 26! This will be their last of three trines, so make the very, very best of it! This is MEGA SUPER TRINE! It’s known as a wealth aspect, great for healing! Jupiter itself is considered fame and fortune in old time astrology. In Virgo it can be for writers, any kinds of daily services from nursing to bookkeeping, pet care, landscaping, housekeeping, etc. Jupiter is publishing. Get your blog going. Travel can be for healthcare seminars. Pluto wants healing, Capricorn rules careers and elders. Building and real estate. Pluto rules all kinds of major monies – inheritance, banking, loans, grants, insurance. CEOs, corporations. Think big! See more!

The Full Moon Gemini Sun is in close longitude with Polaris, the Pole star, 28 GE 34! Polaris is at the north pole, never sets, stands almost motionless on the sky, and all the stars of the Northern sky appear to rotate around it. Other stars along this circle were the pole star in the past and will be again in the future, including Thuban and Vega. Polaris has been close to the actual position of the north pole for over 1000 years. Polaris has long been an important star to sailors, caravans of old winding their way over the desert by night and others who navigated their way by the stars. It is currently located almost directly overhead as seen from the North Pole.

The planet, Uranus, was discovered one degree longitude away from this star.

According to Ptolemy the bright stars are like Saturn and in some degree like Venus. It is said to give indifference and improvidence of spirit, and to lead to many troubles. By the Kabbalists it is associated with the Hebrew letter Tau and the 21st Tarot Trump “The Universe.” The Chinese considered the Pole Star as “the great honorable Lord of the Heavens”. Other races too had high admiration for it, and one can draw the conclusion that, in a relevant position in the natal chart, it will give spiritual powers to the bearer, and he will be highly respected. The Pole Star serves as a guide and indicator. It can give a good sense of discretion and you will be able to follow your instinct, clearly recognize your aims, pursue and achieve them! You may find yourself up all night, at the center of things, the heart of the matter!

New Moon – Cancer Stellium, Sirius opposite Pluto, Grand Water Trine!

It’s SUMMER! Grab family and friends, take the camera and let’s camp under the holy stars!

After our recent intensity of three outer planets aspects March through June, we can take time now to assimilate whatever challenges and joys came our way. Cancer can be broody moody, and that’s just fine. Someone’s got to do it. Think of it as a hen sitting her eggs. No telling what will hatch! We keep the ideas warm and incubating, we stay fertile. People walk by and add to our clutch. Our feelings swirl and another new idea is born! Cancers are masters at germination.

This is our first Moon after the outer planet aspects. These last 28 days Mother Moon has been collecting and storing all the bits from all the signs and culminations of the aspects, letting them roll in the bowl and merge, knitting their own kind of strength. Moon is full in her own way as she meets Father Sun. He enLightens the brew, energizes the union, new beginning are given the vital warmth to emerge!

Our Cancer New Moon is between Mercury and Venus also in Cancer! A four planet stellium plus the fixed star Sirius in Cancer! Mother Moon and Father Sun are snuggling among the pillows, likely canoodling. Spooning is a favorite whether together or sharing the sweetest meal. Children are often the hoped for outcome.

The New Moon is just over a degree approaching the fixed star Sirius at 14 Cancer 05! Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky in Canis Major, has figured prominently in legends all over the world. The Dogstar, aka the Heavenly Wolf by some, is closest to the Earth in Summer, especially July and August and can even be seen in daytime. That’s where the phrase “dog days of summer” came from. The Dogstar is one of the two hunting dogs of the great hunter Orion. Per constellationsofwords.com ‘Well connected, it promises fame, honors and riches, excellent for military, lawyers and civil servants. …in conjunction with the Sun and well placed in the chart will be found to be the case with numerous important and famous personalities. With Moon: Success in business, influential friends of opposite sex, favorable for the father, good health, beneficial changes in home or business.’ Cancers and dogs are noted for their loyalty and their fierce protection of our loved ones. Opposite Pluto, there could be real reasons to double check security at home and business locations. Prevention and mindfulness.

As much as we think of New Moon’s as a dark time, it certainly isn’t for the Moon and Sun! There is nothing but brilliant Light where they are together! Sun bestows his great heart of Light fully, entirely infusing Mama Moon, recharging her. She gives unconditionally, has the huge responsibility to manage the household – all that stuff, and all those dear humans – and needs every bit of that restoration. Father Sun is always giving as big as possible, not just to his own family, but to all! He carries a lot of weight. Mama puts her arms around him and tells him what a true hero he is and just like that, he is recharged too! Happens every 28 days, but in the sign Cancer more emphasis is on Mama Moon in her own sign. The next New Moon will be his turn in Leo, Father Sun’s own sign.

Mercury in Cancer has already been giving it a lot of thought…or should I say feeling?! Where to live, how to support the family, sometimes considering installing mother-in-law quarters, or a place for Grandma and Grandpa to help with the kids. It can be a good investment to keep the elders happy and healthy, to make them know how much they are valued and still able to contribute. Mercury in Cancer’s intuition is fabulous at managing funds. Through its extensive family and community contacts, it knows when to invest, what to invest in, when to hold, and always has the family’s long term needs in mind. There is always a fall back fund that is untouchable. Through those same contacts, business connections can be abundant and there can be multiple income sources.

Mercury at 9 Cancer trines Neptune in Pisces and inconjuncts Saturn in Sagittarius. Neptune is water planet known for it’s intuition. Mercury is logical, more with the facts and data, while Neptune is the dreamer capable of visions that well exceed, transcend, any array of sensibility! Saturn wants to harness the horse and focus on the potential, build the dream step by step, using every bit of data Mercury can dredge up! It won’t always be a comfortable combination. That Saturn and Neptune just squared, a challenge aspect, June 17 for the second time. They will do so again, the last time, September 10. This New Moon will give some insights about how powerfully femininity, women, home & family, culture, feelings, factor in.

Venus in Cancer has a sweet smile and is blessed with an exceptional loving kindness. It can be a little acquisitive, and may be thought of as being selfish sometimes. And that’s likely true too. Gotta take care of yourself. Balance is the key. It’s good to think we are worthy. Good that we model that for our loved ones. Good that we go for the good things in life that in turn will contribute to the happiness of others as well. Venus in Cancer is good in marketing and advertising – art, photography. Historical and old things, geneology, make our story rich, give us an anchor in busy modern life.

Venus makes three exciting aspects!

• She is separating sextile Jupiter in Virgo. Venus is adorable, attractive in demeanor, seductive at times, highly valued. She loves adornment of all kinds, but in Cancer especially lunar themes, corsets, garments that emphasize her lovely bosom! She loves bed and breakfasts, meals at a sumptuous eatery that feels like home, a snuggly cave-like shelter, likes a camper rather than a camp! Venus makes money, and Jupiter knows just how to manage it to make it more! Percentages are the name of the game. Jupiter wants to teach what Venus does without thinking. Jupiter, now in Virgo, wants to tell the delicious story and bring the nursing department up to par. Together they can give knockout seminars! Traveling in comfort is good as long as the budget stays in line.
• Grand Water Trine! Venus with Mars in Scorpio and Chiron in Pisces! Spas, nurturing healing. Venus will let go of some of her old collections if it will bring a great price for a good cause. Cleansing, letting go, recycling opens doors to greater earnings, simply enjoying each other’s company! It’s clear there is more to life than the material. Scorpio, though a money sign, is the number one sign of therapists, saves your life, awakens the Kundalini, the fire at the base of your spine, bringing a burning passion that must be lived! Chiron knows well we have our wounds, have struggled and suffered, each in our own way, and has become more compassionate, a true healer and teacher. We aren’t just here solely for ourselves. What affects one affects all. Venus’s love is crucial to the courage it takes to be on and stay with this journey.

  Mars inconjunct Uranus in Aries is not at rest. He’s always twitchy in Scorpio. Scorpio is a darkish place, private, more secretive, behind the scenes power, where Mars’ true nature is so very upfront, tell it like it is right now and let’s get on with it! Uranus in Aries is a lot more like Mars! And Aries is Mars’ sign! Uranus may be strange, but it’s new, a genius on the cutting edge and Mars is a leader! So being invisible and waiting in Scorpio is going to be a challenge. But if revelation becomes important, Mars will be the one to spring it! Mars has seen a lot while rooting around, and some of that stuff needs to be spilled. Scorpio is thought to be the one who cleanses, but Mars burns it out, cauterizes the wound and because it’s clean, it heals fast! Uranus is the community, networks of people, the internet, so with all that potential support, Mars may feel like it can do it now. Get a leg up and go for it! Both Mars and Uranus are split second fast, so adjustments can be made as you go!
• Venus square Uranus in Aries! Believe me, Venus in Cancer is quite different than Uranus in Aries! If she’s bored, she will love it, design and put up the posters, revel in the blast into the future from right when she walks in the door! If she’s afraid, it might take some doing to get her to that party! She may be glad another is leading the good fight and gently lend her energy along the sidelines serving a healthy meal that looks good and tastes good too! If conservative, she may be shocked. Unable to unsee what she saw, she is changed. It may take some time, but she will think on it and find a better way. Some of what happens may be a now or never situation. The aspect isn’t exact until July 7 at 7:24 AM Pacific. I would err to the cautious side. Make test investments; see how it goes over a longer time.

Moon and Sun are at 12 degrees sextile Jupiter 17 Virgo and opposite Pluto 16 Capricorn.

Cancer is a forever scholar sign. Jupiter is college level learning. Virgo loves manuals. The sextile aspect is opportunity type connections, in this case Cancer to Virgo. Cancer is the nurturer, Virgo the caregiver. Growing and learning are happy companions. Making sure people have what they need to learn, that the learning system really works, that there is funding to take care of things, and that there is a safe place to learn, are important. Jupiter and Pluto recently trined. Perhaps some doors were opened for funding options that hadn’t been available before. If the system is too old, reasonable upgrades can be made now. Stay with it and follow through. Perhaps a property purchase is in the offing, a career adjustment or location change. Retirement. There could be an application to change some laws that we have outgrown. Time to let go, reach out, rebuild. Mercury and Sun both complete the opposition July 7, 4:54 AM (essentially on the do business daytime of the 6th) and 3:24 PM Pacific respectively. With those and the Venus square Uranus also the 7th, the 7th brings the culmination of some important considerations.

Full Buck Moon! – Uranian T Square Inconjunct Mars Links to Grand Water Trine!

Cancer and Capricorn both know the importance and strength of the foundation of the sacred Past, and who better to carry the energy forward?! They both recently made a T Square with Uranus, Uranus at the T point. First is the Sun July 16 at 6:31 AM Pacific, then Moon, just before the Full Moon, reminding us, at 10:06 AM Pacific. Change is befalling us and activating growth from and to many directions! Sometimes we underestimate our friends that carry awakening to the future, but often the greatest inventions and discoveries are made when we take that one step beyond our Past, out of the box! Welcome the blessing.

Mars too made an aspect with Uranus, in fact, due to Mars having been retrograde, it has been in a prolonged inconjunct, allowing a 3 degree range, since June 6. The very first inconjunct was way back on Feb 5, but this one is more significant because it is when Mars makes it station direct, turns forward. The second aspect, during Mars retrograde, was June 18, the day after the second Saturn square Neptune. It carries that energy with it to the present time. The inconjunct was continuous within less than 1 degree through its third and final aspect July 13 at 10:16 PM Pacific. It’s still close. A lot of awareness will be triggered. Stay alert to your surroundings. Make wise ongoing adjustments. Some will be slow and reluctant, others in the fraction of a moment!

Though inconjuncts are askew and sometimes take us temporarily off track. Even if uncomfortable, we see new things that open our consciousness. These two planets have kinship. Mars is the current ruler, planet associated with Aries, the sign Uranus is in now. Mars is currently in Scorpio, the sign Mars also used to rule. Both are warrior signs, Aries the front line fighter, with the courage of the first responder fighting fires; Scorpio is the ninja therapist midnight requisition specialist, that saves the day in the dark, from behind and within. Sneaky devil, but ever so potent, revelation on the way. Kundalini and resurrection go hand in hand. Sex is great or not at all! Uranus is a lot kinky, unusual/exceptional to say the least, electric and proud of it! So sometimes we don’t have a clue what’s going on; other times it’s all in our face! Ha! Great to be alive! Unpredictable but definitely on course!

Grand Water Trine! Sun trined Mars July 16 at 8:45 PM Pacific after Sun squared Uranus in the wee hours of the morning. What built up all week long to a possibly unsettling 14th, 15th, gets quickly integrated and swiftly taken care of the 16th! Act on what’s in your heart to do! Sun and Mars are both physical, even in water signs! Take a good swim, snorkel, paddle! Get your molecules humming! Maybe get with someone you love! Then alternate a great hot bath/spa, cold shower routine! Refreshing and exhilarating!

Mars completes the Grand Water Trine! He is sure there is potential because he just had a healthy consult with Chiron in Pisces July 17 at 4:42 AM Pacific (essentially the 16th also). Where there’s a will there’s a way! Scorpio is shrewd, and Chiron in Pisces is insightful beyond measure, together clever! Both have an eye to business, and if there is a healing spiritual component to the enterprise, even better. Mars encourages Chiron to trust himself, instead of stewing, stewarding! Chiron has Mars somewhat at his mercy because he sees the obsessions that hold him prisoner in Scorpio. Chiron sees the potential when freed. Mars is potently in station, about to turn forward, direct, in only 10 days on June 29. It will be a slow restart, but strong. It will clear the conduit to core molten purity. It will be steeped in corrective process, focused on a wellspring of power to release the old, develop what’s innovative.

Moon sextiles Mars just 4 juicy hours before the Full Moon at 12:12 PM Pacific. Moon in Capricorn can seem stone cold, but you can bet there will be a realistic appraisal. If merited, you will get a golden report, your efforts well noted. Capricorn knows hard good work when it sees it and respectfully gives honor. The Mars/Capricorn combination could still be a little testy even though sextiles indicate opportunities, because Capricorn is the father figure/boss, and Mars, especially in Scorpio, prefers not being told what to do and dislikes scrutiny of their private doings, what they do and how and when they do it. Better if Capricorn hires Mars as an independent doing piece work. Mars gives powerfully. He is always inspirational in some regard, sparks the ignition, an initiation. If Moon in Cap has relied on their previous standing, Mars may shrewdly surreptitiously suggest they stand taller, make a bigger sweep, do some inventive research, upgrade, add some new juice!

What a powerful backdrop this Full Moon has!

Cancer and Capricorn are guardians of the hearth, and make sure we have shelter to raise our young. There is no more sacred duty of procreation than to give new beings the opportunity to carry the Light in a good way. Cancer holds the babies with love. Capricorn shows them how to professionally serve their community, take their place in the world in a good way. These signs hold fast the basic tenets of our lives. Full Moons invite us to open our hearts, spread our wings as wide as we can, embrace the potential in ourselves and others.

This Full Moon is the culminating aspect while the Moon is in Capricorn, then the Moon starts what we astrologers call VC, Void of Course. That’s like a free zone. Nothing comes of some things started in that corridor until the moon changes signs. That will be from 3:56 PM to until the Moon enters Aquarius 8:10 PM Pacific. Others speculate there is nothing to stop us. Could be a good time to simply consider things, let your Spirit meander. Blessed be.

July 2015 has TWO FULL MOONS! The SECOND July Full Moon is a BLUE Moon in Leo/Aquarius on July 31, 3:43 AM Pacific, at 7 Aquarius 56. At our first July Full Moon, the Buck/Thunder Moon, some places Bucks are growing their antlers for rutting season, the time to fight, make thunder for a mate, to make a family. Cancers are phenomenal parents, formidable protectors, staunch community members. Other places there is thunder, but most places it’s just plain summer magic coming true!

♦ A lot of the aspects this Full Moon are what we astrologers call separating, meaning the faster planet has already passed/leaving the slower planet. The Sun has separated from Mars, Venus from Jupiter, Jupiter from Uranus, and Sun and Moon are just past the trine/sextile with Neptune.

1. Sun separating Mars The Sun did conjunct frisky Mars, but it was back when they were both in Gemini on June 14. It would appear this aspect just happened in Cancer, they are only 4 degrees apart, but Mars moving more slowly than Sun didn’t get into Cancer until the Sun was much further ahead in Cancer. So this is kind of a fading phantom aspect. Close, thinking of what could have been….

2. Venus started a 7 degrees close time with Jupiter June 19! It is in a BlessingWay for 12 days! It is there today for Summer Solstice and Father’s Day, and tomorrow for the last Jupiter super trine Uranus. It makes a Grand Fire Trine June 30, Moon, Uranus, Venus/Jupiter! The Grand Trine starts 9:01 AM, finishes 11:18 AM, so the time frame is tight. The exact conjunction is July 1. Be sure to look for it in the night sky June 30!

Venus was with Jupiter only hours before the Full Moon, at 0:51 AM Pacific. Most of us slept through that, so the active time for it was the afternoon/evening of June 30. A more profound beauty, bigger expenses/a raise, love of a lifetime, speaking from the heart, entertainment with a purpose, a gift of travel tickets, the urge to run away, you got published or accepted into a special program! Time for gratitude.

3. Jupiter made the super trine Uranus June 22, but we are still in the glow until July 21. See Post!

4. Sun and Moon are still closely trine/sextileNeptune in Pisces! This is the most immediately preceding aspect, a BOW pattern! Sun trined Neptune 2:10 PM Pacific and just imbued Neptune with a splash of Light, a super charge, a flow of golden energy to light the circuits. All Light and all Water are connected planetwide. Feeling prime, like a LightHouse, Neptune has the strength to have the compassion needed for sending this Beacon to call the troops, to Light their day and night, to have courage to carry on.

5. Moon sextiled Neptune at 6:59 PM Pacific only 21 MINUTES before the FULL MOON! Moon in Capricorn with Pluto could be obsessively sensible, where Neptune in Pisces was born not to be! Soul and Spirit is what matters to Neptune. Godless money without love or integrity, is a sorry thing. But, if a person is an addict, the nurturing Moon, with healer/detoxer Pluto, in reassuring discipline of dependable Capricorn may turn the tables to a better life. Sometimes being tough is compassion. Moon’s major job is to nurture no matter what, no matter how repulsive, dangerous, contagious, forsaken. She sometimes succumbs herself, but more often, she thrives doing what she is blessed to be able to do.

Separating aspects tell the tale of what happened before. They are the foundation wisdom we carry forward. They are what influence current decisions. What we like we keep in our lives, part of our toolkit, inspiration. We let some things fade away, as they should, though even a faint residue may continue to trigger old responses at times. Cancers are noted for their memory, the importance of their history. So before this Full Moon, pay attention to the preceding events and do your very best so what you carry forward supports you in your growth.

What is upcoming is the Moon conjunct Pluto, Mercury MIDPOINT sextile Jupiter and Venus/Uranus!

♦ Moon to Pluto is the most powerful aspect of this Full Moon! In Capricorn it is a wee bit of a challenge because the Moon is the planet of Cancer, the sign opposite Capricorn! An integration, perhaps a respectful partnering could be brilliant. If Cancer has been too dependent, impressed by power, it may call for a need not to be hypnotized. There may be a potent merger, an understanding that leaves everyone breathless in its intensity. With the Moon and Sun opposite, the feminine is separated as far as it can get from the dominant masculine, given a chance to find its way on its own. Or, perhaps, if Pluto is an ally, there may be a secret passage, guided by an Elder of impressive strength. The Sun being in the Moon’s sign Cancer may surprise everyone with a more feminine way of being than expected. The business at hand may take some time, but be worth the effort.

With Saturn back in Scorpio, he too is related to this Full Moon since he and Pluto in Capricorn are now again Mutual Reception, in each other’s signs. Seniors, ancient places, ice, minerals, stones are of an essence. Research, healing, psychotherapy, detoxing are needed so profoundly to clear our ways for future change. Mercury sextile Jupiter and Venus is downright blessed and super lucky! They are happy to hear Mercury’s ideas and Jupiter in Leo can expand the principle, extend the vision further forward in time. Uranus is in Aries, the Initiate, pure instantaneous intuition! Uranus is the Awakener, the evolutionary ChangeMaker! It is your friend, or part of community or worldwide organizations. Flight, space travel, the internet all take us places where camaraderie begins. Together we support each other in healing, finding new ways.

♦ Mercury at the MIDPOINT means it links Jupiter/Venus and Uranus! If Jupiter is too opinionated or raw with the truth, Mercury is quick to explain how the idea is valuable. Venus chimes in with a softening phrase but maintains the point. If Venus is too sugary or selfish, Mercury can put in some reasoning that we all might deserve a bit more and here’s how. If Mercury is all facts and figures, information ad infinitum, Jupiter and Venus in Leo add the fun, beauty and heart, put it in perspective to a longer plan. After all, there is always more! If Uranus gets bored, gets a little ‘strange’ and scares the populus, the others concoct a party of extraterrestrial proportions, everyone has fun, the pressure is relieved, and things get back to business.

Add to that, Mercury is also square Chiron in Pisces. There are supernatural mysteries that will never be solved. Sometimes it’s good to know that is so. It’s ok to just let certain things simmer on the back burner. Mercury in Gemini does like neat logic, but musing can be equally entertaining. New Moon – Cancer Stellium, Pollux the Immortal Twin!

Rock me in the cradle. Mama Moon is so comfy in her own sign, loving with Father Sun. She IS Woman, sweet, mystical, humming a lullaby. Perfect reflection….

Loving her baskets and bowls, Cancer gathers precious herbs and foods, treasures and keepsakes. Father Sun accepts her gifts, listens to the whispers and stories along the gathering Path. She accumulates a special wisdom from steeping in feelings of the ones she feeds and heals. She spreads her loving like a blanket over a newborn babe.

A New Moon finishes one cycle, begins a new one. Give gratitude for your achievements these last days. Take a deep breath, be still, start where you are, strong in what you have created. Open your Spirit to another cycle, this one centered in your life now, and the knowing you have from past lives, from the Matriarchy of all Childhood, Maiden and Motherhood, Womanhood.

♦ This Sun and Moon are most closely allied in semisextile with Jupiter. Jupiter is the Pathfinder, Wayshower. It seeks the meaning of things. Food must be more than just for the body, it has to feed the long view of our purpose. When Cancer wants to stay home and dwell on things, as it sometimes should and does well, Jupiter wants to get out and take a look about, get some perspective, seek more opinions. Saturn rules Capricorn, Cancer’s opposite sign, but the favorable trine connection brings things more into a useful arrangement. Cancers don’t shirk their work, and Saturn expects things to get done with precision and in a timely fashion. Scorpio is intense, even obsessive, so you can imagine what can get accomplished! All these are interested in finances and investments. Parental and lover relationships will be vetted. Diet and psychological health will come under scrutiny.

♦ The New Moon is at 23 degrees Cancer 14, the fixed star POLLUX is at 23 Cancer 13, only ONE MINUTE apart! Castor and immortal Pollux were the twin warrior brothers of the constellation Gemini, the sign Cancer. Various things are written about Pollux, most of them associated with Mars. Most indicate challenge yet strength to overcome. Cancer is not known as a fighting sign, nor is the New Moon usually. Yet they are known to give their lives to defend their household, mates, and especially children. This will not be a casual New Moon. It’s not just added spunk, it will have teeth. Pollux is complicated….

• It is the star of writing, the emotional/passionate writer, has the gift of contemplative speculation, is subtle, crafty.
• Known for audacity, being spirited, brave, having powerful strength and ferocity, is fierce defender.
• It has super athletic ability, love of sport. It is favorable for martial artists, boxers, fighters and warriors, It is helper if in peril on voyages at sea, blessed with immortality.
• When bad, it has dignified malevolence, is brutally cruel and tyrannical, quarrels, rash, rape committed or suffered, the “Heartless Judge,” decapitation, calamity. Riches and honors are often followed by disgrace, and possible imprisonment for embezzling.
• It can be a person misusing his energy or others deceiving him and fate playing him some cruel tricks, a painful journey.
• On the Lunar side, vulgarity is displeasing, there may be ill-will for or by women, Mother’s honor and reputation could temporarily suffer.
• Mars rules the head, so be careful. Pollux is considered bad for eyesight, bring injuries to the eyes and face. Be careful with toxins, poisons.

Clearly, these warnings are not for the faint of heart, nor to be taken lightly. Maybe they seem melodramatic. Hopefully nothing dire will happen at all! To the credit side, if the energy is used wisely and you keep your wits about you, your efforts can pay off handsomely.

There are higher principles at work as well. Since the twins were mortal and immortal, there is the coming metaphysical consciousness of knowing how the human and divine are both within us, what it is to be human and divine at the same time. There is an explosive dark shadow side and a poised civilized side. This polarity, allows a comprehensive range of observations, an outstanding synthesis of solutions, a partnership of talents.

♦ Along with the strong Pollux factor, also in Cancer, Mercury and Mars could be ferocious, or at least are verbal defenders of home and family! They are censored by the opposition with Pluto in Capricorn. No matter how emotional or impassioned, there are still certain procedures and timing one must abide by. Since all three planets are at 14 degrees, there is simply no avoiding this potency. Words will be spoken, some not easily forgiven if ever. Others will make their mark and give us a lifetime of guidance. If challenged, take plenty of time outs. Be prepared by backing up what you have to say with science or data from reputable sources. And don’t let yourself be overwhelmed or taken in. Say you will think about it and get back to them when you say you will.

Now another side of that coin is you or they are fired up about something that should have been taken care of long ago, maybe even centuries! By reaching out for funding, asking that research be done, you may find professional respected support for your cause. Many who have been sitting back may reach a tipping point and things finally move forward like a tide. Congratulations.

A background aspect is Moon and Sun have been trining Chiron. Chiron is mythologically related to the Centaurs, Sagittarius, half horse, half human, quite powerful, a wiseman. Chiron was the king of the centaurs, yet he suffered an interminable wound because of an offense to one of the gods. He learned medicine, became a teacher, gave his life for another to end his agony. Now in the sign Pisces, this story of surrender and saving fits well. Moon and Sun have been seeking deeper wisdom to share onward, to nurture their family or anyone in need.

Magi astrologers say Chiron is THE marriage and business planet. As I have tracked it in relationships, I agree. And excellent partnerships are certainly a foundation for business success. There are opportunities with our New Moon to trust the intuition we have been having to guide us. Cancer knows practical things that affect all the commodities in our lives. PIsces carries the dream, the Vision that leads us to the glory of our Spirit.

LEO 2014 Moons! New, Full Red SuperMoon!

This will be a grand New Moon, 2nd of three in a row, with the newly minted Jupiter in LEO! Mars has newly joined Saturn in Scorpio as of July 25, the day before! New beginnings are here, and we’re not used to the changes yet, but probably not minding them either. Jupiter is in Leo only once every 12 years, and Mars has had a long 7 month stint in Libra, so many are delighted to move along!

The Sun squared Mars Friday the 18th, so that hot challenge is behind us. The Moon squared Mars, maybe dramatically, 8:29 AM, just hours before the afternoon New Moon. Sometimes that square brings rousing feelings and misadventures. Be careful with knives, fire, or sex :) in the kitchen! It won’t be a morning for sleeping in either! These aspects preceding the New Moon will be motivators for our intentions and planning. We want more vitality, directed potently, safely. We want to let go of past perjuries, hurtful attitudes. Time to clear the deck, upleval our reasoning, exceed our ancestors. Perspective means so much. The education adventure is a big part of the answers.

Building trust, finding faith, courting loving joy are teasers and treasures worth the gamble. Travel about, widen your vision, open your heart. Volunteer to get places you want to go. Listen with big ears, share your story – the true deep one that makes you who you are. But also, no revealing what’s not yours to tell when it involves others.

Backdrop for this New Moon is the 1 degree Saturn, Uranus, Chiron set. Saturn made a very close 8 minutes (of space) inconjunct with Uranus the day before the Sun entered LEO, July 21! They whispered to each other. Though incompatible planets, they are in Mars signs, Aries and Scorpio, so have a guarded, careful camaraderie. Saturn favors a working routine, while Uranus is a born rule breaker! Uranus is in Aries, the upstart and innovator, while Scorpio subtly brings the Lamb to bay, seducing it toward the goal it wants to share. The lamb may be coy, but Scorpio and Saturn are astute at waiting for those perfect moments of capture. Working together could be outstandingly powerful as the old fuddy-duddies tap the excitement of stunning changes!

Saturn, the Master Guide, is also trine Chiron in Pisces, the Healer. Saturn wants to see the vision well done, the very best. Chiron in Pisces knows where the fault lines are, and how to bridge the gaps, fill the Spirit. Saturn helps Chiron focus, while Chiron has insights that take them both to new heights. Relationships can be profound and long lasting.

Aug 1 Venus in Cancer moves in to complete the Grand Water Trine (blue) with Saturn and Chiron! Their work together is blessed, made beautiful and attractive. The value there is nurtured. Grace and a feminine touch buffers any rough edges. Projects emphasized by the New Moon, and of its nature, will bear fruit. Family matters may sync up. This time what your Mother says/said will likely work sweetly!

FULL RED SUPERMOON!
August 10 at 11:09 AM Pacific – 18 Aquarius 02  

Second of three-in-a-row SuperMoons! Bigger and brighter! Appears red through ‘any sultry haze.’

Moon Aquarius and Sun LEO have been kindly kissed and zapped by Uranus, the planet of Aquarius! Many people read the Moon as our past, but Uranus is a planet of the future’s Future! Nothing old or slow about it! Yet Mama Moon is her family’s protector and nurturer, usually conservative. So some blending here, like the new kitchen gadget that saves time and does a good job. That’s ok. LEO enjoys the show, especially if that smoothie is for them!

Another little item is the matter of detachment. Aquarius/Uranus is cool to remote at times. LEO wants justifiable attention, but Moon can’t have you just running off from home. Wait! Wait! Yet, in Aquarius, sign of freedom, there are times home is overwhelming and a getaway is just the right thing to do. There are times the Lion just has to fend for themselves, besides, fans can be so tiresome…. Just relax and go to the spa. Getting some distance gives you time to just be yourself, think, let go of expectations, refresh.

Uranus in Aries just spritzes and showers Light like a firecracker sparkler! It’s a Light show with a 1000 ideas a second! Excited and infused, it wakes up our synapses and wrinkles the laundry! Gives Zig Zag new meaning! Record your insights, some of them are Divine and in spite of perceived crazy diversity, may clump together with unheard of results!

The Full Moon axis is restrained by Saturn! It was just in an exact serious TSquare, 90 degrees of challenge! The Sun squared Saturn a tiring week’s worth, maybe waiting, Aug 3 to Friday the 9th. Either we are worn down and not careful, or defenses are worn down enough so we can finally hear! Moon squared Saturn just 1 1/2 hours before our Full Moon, oh so sadly reminding us of the challenges and likely unfinished business. Even though we are frustrated with being careful, minding our manners is a must, otherwise, there will be a price to pay. Respect is a necessity. Offenses add up. Being flippant or unempathetic about someone else’s feelings may become a scene with painful results. A good laugh with love could be carefully done, and relieve the tension. But do stand up if there is abuse. Get help if you can’t do it alone.

The New Moon Saturn inconjunct Uranus, trine Chiron backdrop is fading but not forgotten! Saturn has been doing its best to harness those Uranian kilowatts! But as we all know, some things just weren’t meant to be completely harnessed. There is always an escapee here or there. Serious Chiron healing has occurred. Saturn has used time well and we are seeing results after all even when we thought we screwed up. Work and business have solid options. Relationships are stabilizing. Health is being tracked with steady improvement likely, or letting go when that time has come.

August 14, the Jupiter inconjunct Neptune is exact. This SuperMoon helps illuminate that awareness. Both Jupiter and Neptune are going for the far reaches of existence! Jupiter in Leo takes the big journey; Neptune in its own sign Pisces goes as far as the Soul can see! They are believers of magnitude. The LEO heart loves its way along even when there is great disparity, an unlikely companion, against the odds. Leo’s gift to teach takes others with them on this huge journey of the exploration of the Tree of Life. Pisces knows when it sees a worn out traveler and gathers them to the feet of God and the Angels, leads them to the meditation Ashram to rest and recenter. The Visions are another journey of inspiration, often a lifetime’s worth! As knowledge is gained, adjustments keep us on the spicy course, at the leading edge of Creation!
