Planet patterns in our charts result in ourapproaching life so differently…
Bowl and Bundle charts depend on how close the outer planets are.
Rock-a-bye baby…the current Bowl Chart Pattern possibility started in 2015 when outer planet Jupiter moved into Virgo at 210° or less from Uranus in Aries. When Jupiter was more than that 210° away from Uranus, a different planet pattern was formed. When Jupiter went into Libra and became halfway across the wheel from Uranus, with all the other outer planets and the others between them on one side, we had the classic Bowls 180 degrees across.
When Jupiter moved into Scorpio the outer planets became even less than halfway! When they all were 150° or less it became possible to have Bundle charts, the rarest of all the planetary patterns! While Jupiter was in Sagittarius the outer planets became even less than halfway! At that time, each period when the Moon, Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars passed from Scorpio through Taurus at the same time, Bowls occurred, all the planets on one side. When Jupiter moved into Capricorn, the outer planets were within a trine, a third of the wheel, and when the other planets were between them on the same side, the Bundle was quite intense, all the planets close within only 150° or less!
With Jupiter’s final conjunction with Pluto Nov 2020, Pluto is now the base outer planet, holding the integrity of the purpose of the group, pushing us along. As Pluto moves through late Capricorn the distance will be the least March/April 2022 at only 104°!!! When Jupiter went into Virgo in 2015, Uranus, the Aquarian planet, also became the clear leader of the outer planet group. He will continue to lead until Jupiter passes him in April 2024. That’s a nine year run.
Importantly, that brings us up to and past Pluto’s sign change into Aquarius March 23 2023! At that point, Pluto, as base planet of the outer planets, changes purpose and supports the other planets differently than before! No longer deeply focused in Capricorn careers and corporations, there is a dispersion of goods and energy achieved. The entire field of life broadens. Aquarius is the humanitarian master, the sign of evolution, awakening. Sciences will extend further into electronics, robotics. Pluto will be wielding that power. Even if he tries to covet the monies, he will find his position eroding, and there will be resistance, inevitable change. Pluto will be in Aquarius 21 years, until January 2044! Pluto was last in Aquarius 248 years ago, 1777 to 1799, a 22 year period of worldwide uproar and change – American revolution, the French revolution, the Industrial revolution in England. And it won’t be any different this time! Since that last 248 years ago we now have bombs, climate change, a pandemic, electronic communication, robotics, and a helluva a lot more people on the planet. Water and weather wars are possible. Actually, water wars are already starting. We need to reassess our mandates for leadership – age and both physical and mental health. There are going to be some bumps. Some say, after the kinks are worked out, there will be a ‘Golden Age!’ Make it so. Or maybe that would be just toooo boring and other things will happen, LOL! Pluto as the base outer planet takes on new meaning!
Depending on the time of day, a Bowl may be at the bottom of the chart collecting, or over the top pouring out its collection or making shade or being an umbrella! At the sides of the chart it may act as a wind scoop or buffer, satellite dish receiver! And so it is symbolically with those of us who have this kind of birth chart. We may always be gathering, sheltering, protecting, guarding, outpouring what’s ours.
Children, adults, born with Bowl charts can be introverted, very skilled, value their possessions. They love rolling around inside that Bowl, but in what they see as their own territory! They may be self-contained with great inner strength. They can be super generous if their Bowl is over the top or tips out abundance. If their Bowl is at the side of their chart they may have super focus and awareness of their surroundings, echo back what they see. The Bowl below may wait to see what falls their way, keeping the keepers, pushing out what doesn’t fit any longer or is outgrown. Priorities become important.
Some astrologers say Bowl chart people ‘need’ people of the signs of the part of their chart that isn’t filled. I don’t find that to be true. Many are quite content being exactly who they are, doing what they love. Focused and intent as they are, working for perfection, they already have enough to do, LOL! They do their job, let others do theirs.
A little more about Bowls! In zodiacal order, the starting and ending signs and planets are important as such, and they are likely opposite! They ‘know’ each other because they are opposite sides of the same coin so to speak. The first sign, base planet, takes up the thread. The information is passed along, refined, enhanced, is the final product at the last sign. That ‘line’ side to side, across the edges of the top of the Bowl can be defining or, as others might see it, limiting, if you don’t do what they want you to do. They may see it as the entry or collection area, a welcoming place not limiting at all! Remember too, that you are seeing it from your perspective, not theirs.
If the mid sign between the first and last signs is occupied by a planet, that planet takes on importance because it often aspects those beginning and ending signs equally, influencing their actions with the same flavor. That is a common configuration to Bowls. If it is the midpoint of a 180° opposition, it is called a T Square! T Squares are considered challenging, but some relish the challenge, and after all, if you live with it all your life, somewhere along in time, you learn to use it well. That sign at the belly of the Bowl is the T Square point. It can be a settling point or the ‘point’ of the bowl that leads from within, or a bit of both, used when needed! Once you have the info needed and is analyzed, you get going!
If the Bowl is on its side, facing left or right, the T Square point may ‘take the point,’ supported by the rest of the planets, taking precedence over all the other signs and planets in the Bowl! Since it pushes forward, leads the way, it also distributes information it comes across back to the other planets. If pointing left, it might be a spiritual leader. If it points to the right, it might be a social power engaged in litigations, or be an ambassador. If the Bowl is on its belly, the T pointing down, it may be a deep seeker, strongly grounded, perhaps more internalized than most Bowls! If the Bowl is an umbrella over the top, the T Point might raise the roof, seek higher ground, want a lot more in life, seek enlightenment! Rather than shelter, it plows and pierces it’s way upward through the layers and has the planets to back its endeavor! It draws prevailing information currents, higher knowledge, golden Light down to it’s planets.
In Bowls, outer planets will be quite close to each other, as various planets come to be 210° to 150° with all the planets on one side of the chart. With all the outer planets in only 150° or less, Bundle charts are formed!
As Pluto moves into late Capricorn the distance between the outer planets will be the least. Mar 27 to April 3, 2022 ALL the planets are in a tightspan of only104°!Here is a powerful Moon/Sun/ASC Bundle chart I like at Midnight March 27!
The pattern is formed by Pluto 28 Capricorn, bottom left, to Uranus at 12 Taurus at the 5/6 house line in Santa Barbara CA. Bundle charts don’t have that collecting, holding, spilling capacity that Bowls do. They are more like thrusters of the Rocket, a super concentrated force moving through space at will. Or they are entirely unto themselves, quite self contained, little disturbs them. It may take quite a lot of energy to change their direction from outside. If they decide to change their course from within, it is done. Move out of the way. However, this chart above, is Sun Aries, Moon Aquarius. Quite curious and fearless, with Pisces intuition at full throttle, Pluto at the rudder! There may be some fast and fancy intense maneuvering!
That pattern, a Bundle, 150° or less, is the most rare! Due to outer planet spreads, it can be 100s of years between times they can be formed! It is characteristic for Bundle charts to have stelliums, groups of planets in one sign or a house. Stelliums often have potent conjunctions, planets next to each other in close degree. This one has the unique 166 year Jupiter conjunct Neptune! Link to come… They can be remarkable mergers of power even making a third force available! Exceptional people with fantastic specialty talents will be born! At Bundle times, planetary events will have a singularity, others will be ‘neglected,’ not have priority, simply because there are no planets there to deal with them. What becomes most important to us personally is which HOUSES those planets are activating in our birth charts. For this you need to know your birth time. A person born in that period will become an expert – the rest is not their job. Pay careful attention to nurture the best in young ones born with those bundles charts, to be just the way they are. Pay attention to their signals. Remember they are practically geniuses at what they do. At the very least they are marvelous specialists! If they have a stellium, many planets in one sign, and that is likely, they may seem obsessed, but they are just putting many planets’ skills toward one matter. You could also say they have spiritually chosen to master this skill this lifetime. It is likely a crucial next step in the sequence of lifetimes they have chosen and this may be the crash course to catch up or keep up! Help them any way you can.
We are living in a rare planetary time. 2021 to June 2, 2024 base planet Pluto and leading planet Uranus will be in less than a third of the chart! Many Bowl and Bundle charts will be possible. Jan 21, 2024 Pluto pops into Aquarius its final time, Jupiter passes Uranus then trines Pluto June 2. From then on, the Bundle chart is not as tight, will soon exceed the degrees of the definition. When Jupiter makes it to Leo mid 2026, we are back to Bowl charts for a brief period. Then, Bowl charts won’t happen again until 2031. For Bundles it will be a long, long time as Uranus and Saturn move out of the trine/third from Pluto and the outer planets spread out around the signs.
We need these people. Many people, Souls, will be called on to have the much needed specialties of these charts to concentrate on planetary matters – environmental and social. Many people will be born with these powerful configurations. Keep their Spirits well fed. They may quickly absorb, knead, devour, grind up, nibble and nosh, dispatch and dispose of what’s not needed or done with. They will take the polished results to the bank!

Per Earthsky, this year, the March 2019, full SuperMoon, last of the three 2019 SuperMoons, comes less than 4 hours after the arrival of the March 20th equinox, making this the closest coincidence of the March equinox and full moon since March 20, 2000! Next time will be 11 years from now, in 2030.
This will be the first of two Full Moons spanning Libra/Aries! This one is at the first degree, 0 Libra/Aries 09. The second is an AstroLogical ‘Blue Moon,’ the only 2019 Blue Moon! The April 20 Full Moon will be at the last degree, 29 Libra/Aries 07! This March Moon is a true Alpha time! We are at the first day of Aries, the first sign of the Zodiac, the first day of Spring! Since it spans Aries/Libra, we might say it is Alpha-Omega, the beginning and ‘end,’ since Aries is sunrise and Libra is sunset! Each of these Full Moons greets one of the two outer planets that have just changed signs! The first charges Chiron, the second charges Uranus!
This is the 5th and last Full Moon at 0 degrees! They were in Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, now Aries! Each has been a full arms open embrace to their sign! Sag started the Journey, Capricorn made it so, Aquarius shook the basket, Pisces sweetened the Dream! The last of the five is in Aries at Spring Equinox, new beginnings par excellence!
The Full Moon at Zero degree emphasizes the two recent sign changes! Sun is conjunct Chiron, now at 1° and semisextile Uranus at 0°! This is Sun’s first conjunction with Chiron in his new permanent sign! Sun is welcoming him into Aries and giving him a first day of Spring super solar charge! Sun is a fiery ‘planet,’ so with Chiron now in fiery Aries, they are more easy with each other. This charge will be transferred to Uranus as well because Chiron and Uranus have been traveling side by side the last 10 years and have formed a bond. It’s as if they are traveling as one. Uranus has been in Aries the last 7 years, so receives Sun’s energy quite comfortably. In fact, can’t hurt a bit, he’s quite calmer in Taurus, not used to it, so probably needs a little familiar boost. Sun also picks up some quickie healing tips from Chiron. Chiron’s info is hot off the griddle, fresh, untainted, innovative, yet to be tested. It’s true it’s been 51 years since he was in Aries before and times have changed, but he has been watching from the signs he’s been in along the way and things have developed apace. Moon is all by herself all the way on the other side of the chart in Libra! This chart pattern is called a Bucket. She is the ‘handle’ of the Bucket. You could say she’s out scouting for the best relationship connections, alliances, possible, paving the way, assessing cultural formalities to be respected. Or she’s the receiver, radar for what’s coming from that direction, canary in the goldmine. You could say she’s the lead of the whole group, or the tail of the dragon cleaning up any messes that need neutralizing, making deals to secure their gains, making the space behind safe. One way or the other, or all of the above, she’s vital to the operation. Balance is key. Aries is less concerned, if at all, but Libra’s talent is to sense the nuances and keep us all quickly informed. She’s scanning the furthest reaches currently possible.
Moon is off center from Uranus, but in Libra she always knows when there is a change in the valence. She tends to be culturally correct, prefers calm mediation. Uranus is always a changemaker, and she can tell. He has a certain charge that never sleeps. In Taurus he can make change so gently and calmly you don’t even know it happened. She knows that too. If it isn’t for the greater good, she may warn about it, but it may be hard to make anyone believe her. Naw, that can’t be true, never. Yet he’s in progress. If it’s a change she likes, a good glass of wine from the cellar will be in order.
Mars is off center from Jupiter. They can get in a lot of trouble! Mars in Taurus can prod Jupiter who lives for dares and loves to play. Mars in Taurus can lag and drag and drive Sag crazy! Sag wants to play and who ever heard of Mars wanting to just lay about?! But in Taurus he can. No matter how cunning and persuasive Sag can be with is big stories and splendid opinions, it has little effect. Mars will leave Jupiter behind in two or three days and the cat and mouse play is over. Oh well. There are few times Jupiter fails to impress so he may be disappointed. Mars didn’t get his way either. He may have seemed too common, or unwilling to take a chance. C’est la vie. Maybe in a couple years….
What Mars did get done was trine Saturn then Pluto. Some great work was done. The price was right and it was timely. Could have involved construction or real estate, stone work, restoration. Some of the people in charge were quite impressed and more connections made. Follow up from time to time. Hire that person for more work!
Venus however, squares him and is probably a little grumpy with him or ignores him. He’s not her type. She’s exotic in Aquarius; he’s common in Taurus. They have way different kinds of intelligence. She won’t pay him what he’s worth, or can’t, at least not now. Wait for a bit, maybe sometime after Mercury goes direct/forward. She in Aquarius may simply be gone to other realms. But if she’s working on a community project and it’s one Mars favors, they could work together after all. She’s likely to get a publishing or travel grant soon. Could be a scholarship and she leaves the area. Stay in touch, but don’t expect miracles. Be ready to let go gracefully if need.
Mercury in Pisces is stilllllll Retrograde until March 28. The day before the Feb 19 Full Snow SuperMoon, was Mercury’s first conjunction with Neptune. Now he is slowly moving to make his Rx conjunction with Neptune March 24, just before Mercury goes into his 8 day station (stand still). Neptune is the old man of the Sea, the Pisces planet, also IN Pisces! That’s a whole lot of intuition, dreamtime insights. Words may seem almost ridiculous at times and can mean so less than the feelings. But to put the mysteries of the Universe into words is a sweet feat! There are times the masters of words can make you feel you are right there, present in what they are writing about and you forget you are listening or reading. You ‘wake’ up and to your surprise you are right where you are!
Mercury goes direct (forward) on March 28. He makes the third/final conjunction with Neptune April 2 Pacific time, just before the April 5 New Moon! Mercury is so curious about the ‘unseen.’ Mercury himself is quite logical, visual, so Pisces and Neptune are like an immersion experience for him. He uses his senses more. He wants to put it into words in some way so others can see it too! He talks with Neptune and watches for reactions, nuances. Neptune’s visions are important, should not to be lost in the dream. Mercury is retrograding away from his second sextile with Saturn, and Saturn has moved past his sextile with Neptune for now, to return mid-June. Saturn is presently holding close to Pluto, but retrogrades himself and doesn’t make the conjunction with Pluto until Jan 12, 2020. That and Mercury now at 18 Pisces, and Venus, Mars and Jupiter all at 23 degrees, brings us to discuss the important set of upcoming aspects. Mercury ties in with the Pluto chain of events. Our thinking now has relevance. Pay attention to shifts in your awareness. It’s not even so important what you think, but how you think. Venus, Mars and Jupiter are tied to the early 2020 Saturn/Pluto chain of events. Record and work your goals. Find out how to get where you want to go. There are tremendous possibilities!
Pluto is now at 22 Capricorn, the degree where Saturn, potently in his own sign, will catch up with Pluto Jan 12, 2020! Pluto will be at 23 when the 4 planet CP stellium forms Mar 21, 2020! There are extremes of prediction for the 2020 events. End of the world, economic collapse, bankruptcy, death, on one side. Just a little fire in the belly! No matter that you can’t see them or they are barely a crescent peeping into or out of the New Moon spot, Sun and Moon are having a sweet rendezvous out there in the heavens! Sun is supercharging, and Aries, a hot fire sign, is all in favor! Moon is sizzling all that great Spirit food on the front burner and is raring to go! The babies are rocking in the cradle, the little kids are wild and the teens are more independent than usual! Lovers are happy dancing. Lambs are springtime frolicing!
Mercury is no longer retrograde nor in station (standing still), and is finishing his three part cycle April 16, only a few days now to put the final touches in place. He made the last magical conjunction with Neptune in Pisces on the 2nd, just before this Aries New Moon. Endings, completions and dreams are on our minds, New Moon making glorious new flowers! Mercury’s three last aspects show in this chart. On the 7th Mercury sextiles Saturn, finishing up some key tasks, your work is paying off, sign the contracts. The 10th Mercury sextiles Pluto, the finances and certain relationships have worthy potentials. Mercury is closing in on his square to Jupiter the 11th. It may not all be true or possible right now. The New Moon is the last of the 15° New Moons that started in October with Libra, seven in a row! 15° is the mid of any sign, the turning point! In the Hindi Dwadasama system, 15 to 17.5° are the degrees holding a sub influence of the opposite sign, in this case Libra! All three of this year’s Aries lunar events have this Aries/Libra crossover! Aries is independent; Libra is cooperative. Aries is self; Libra is others. They are both fighters. Aries is physical, will use fists if necessary; Libra is wits and courtrooms, negotiators and mediators, peacemakers if possible. Aries shows Libra that being nice doesn’t always get the job done. Stand up and be counted, for Pete’s sake! Libra shows that leaving, abandoning or offending with bristly shouted opinions doesn’t always work either. We seek to come to know each other. You don’t corner your Aries, or smother them with sweets. Yuk. Aries often only really needs to ask. A please doesn’t hurt. Nor do you yell at someone trying to help you. Put your listening ears on. Sharing can touch your heart.
But. A champion is a champion! Someone needs to stand up, even if it begins with only one person! It’s time to offend someone, to make them look, and listen even if they disagree or especially if they disagree! Just because the sleeping masses have a big opinion, the power of numbers doesn’t make them right. New beginnings must start from a seed and be tended to flourish. Show people that they can run, they can get up that hill. Sun figures that’s a no brainer. Moon might need a little convincing, she likes her apple pie, breads, cheesecake. But if it’s women or children’s rights, she’s on it! Together they will get people excited. Just a few words well placed can make a huge difference. Seeds need the right soil and she’s a clever nurturer.
Now, there’s going to be a little bridge to cross, wall to climb. Sun and Moon square Saturn then Pluto. They will be tested. Sun squares Saturn the 10th, Pluto on the 13th. What is too heavy to carry will be left behind. Get your support team experts in place as you address formidable blockages. Could be rocks, could be toxic. There could be injustice, abuse of power, deep grief. Saturn and Pluto are in Capricorn. Protect your property from damage or theft. Don’t be in denial about your career, others on the job. Keep reasonable records of events and achievements in case you need them later. In this period, work with emails, signed papers, rather than handshakes. In spite of what difficulties there may be, remember that Saturn wants to make things right in the long term; Pluto wants to heal. Certain things may just take time. Don’t confront in such a way that they react by digging in their heels just to protect themselves and don’t even hear you. Keep it on an even keel so everyone continues to listen. It will be easier on our nerves and take a lot less time. Change consequences to successes.
As I have said before, New Moons are a regenerative time. Moon is at the end of her 27/28 day cycle. She has been through all the signs, gathering information, giving as she can as she has gone along. She makes lots of adjustments, each sign so different and specialized. She takes the pulse of the people from all walks of life. When she meets Sun, he sees what she has accumulated – awareness of accomplishments, shortcomings, needs that need meeting. Sun floods her with Light energy and she is restored. He appreciates her perceptiveness and caring and is himself restored by her faith in him.
This is a good time to make assessments, put things into perspective. Keep these things in mind as you face challenges. The outcome may surprise everyone!
Mars, the Aries planet, has just further activated Chiron and Uranus in their new signs! Mars is the planet of new! Being in Gemini now, it’s time to tell the stories, make connections! Chiron is excited to be the new champion of healing and teaching the ways to do it! Uranus will be making a difference in Earth affairs. There will be more awareness of climate changes, environmental remedies. Individuals will take on a one world approach. Some governments may cause delays, but others and many powerful private parties will opt for more long term footage. Mars gets the Word out, is the herald of a new dawn of creation!
The 3 STARS dance continues! Each time since the October New Moon, all the New Moons since being at 15°, the same stars have been activated but by different types of links! This feisty Aries New Moon makes a challenging square with the renowned Fixed Star Sirius at 14 Cancer! Next month’s Taurus New Moon will be at 14 Taurus making a sextile, so it won’t be entirely over yet. Sirius is the Dogstar in Canis Major, the brightest star in the heavens. It is said to give honor, renown, wealth, ardor, faithfulness, devotion, passion and resentment, and makes its natives custodians, curators and guardians. It also gives danger of dog bites! Woof! Aries doesn’t let sleeping dogs lie. If there are any misuses of power Aries will be around to call Goliath out. If they have gotten complacent, he’ll give the bed a good kick as he walks by. Moon and Sun are square Sirius’s opposite star Vega at 15 Capricorn. Next month’s New Moon at 14 Taurus will trine Vega. Much smoother. Vega is Lyra’s bright star. She puts beauty, music and arts in our lives. Aries has no time for standing still for harp players. To them music is the sound of a well tuned engine, or a rousing concert! Again, not only is the Dogstar involved, but so is the hunter himself! The New Moon is more happily sextile Orion’s star Rigel at 16 Gemini. Aries likes weapons and Orion is the hunter. Works for him. You might guess Rigel has mixed reviews. Mythologically it was thought to be where the scorpion stung Orion causing Orion’s death. Oops. About Rigel and the Sun, Robson says: Bold, courageous, insolent, unruly temper, hasty actions, bloodshed, many enemies, great good fortune, military success. Shall we run or stay? Elsbeth Ebertin noted a connection of Rigel to the Sun and Moon, in charts of several world record pilots, leading to sudden difficulties in the carrying out of planned enterprises resulting in failures to reach the set target. Sextiles offer opportunities. Aries is adept at quickly picking up the pieces in an emergency. He can astonishingly turn the tables between life and death. Maybe he’ll save the King!

Neptune can hear Mars in Gemini chattering and nattering from a long ways off, coming to make the square. Mars can be pesky or wake up old Neptune, probably both. From argonaut to astronaut, space sailors have watched and been guided by the stars. Farmers in fields still use them to calculate the seasons, the equinoxes and solstices. In summer we camp under the stars, bathed in StarLight. So many stories are written about the adventures of star travelers, what we think it might be like…and wonder about possible inhabitants far, far away.
Ouranos, Uranus is Aquarius’s planet, the planet of the Heavens, the etheric realm. Aquarians are often thought of as absent minded, being someplace else, their attention being miles away. They are renowned for their intelligence; they think at the speed of Light. As their opposite sign is Leo, the sign of the Sun, our Star; Aquarians are the sign of the entire collective of stars! They are tapped into the galaxies. Is their intelligence of this world, in their own mind and making, or do they literally channel cosmic energy? Some are uncanny with people, great at selecting tribe members for the fantastic new voyage. The humanitarian intention is greater than the difference factor, and with many contributing, results are astonishing whether it is restoring remote desert or in the computer laboratory researching medical cures. The more people that need the changes, the more challenging the matter. That is the natural size territory for an Aquarian.
By nature, birds and their flight have intrigued Aquarians forever. We have now learned how to fly, even beyond our planet! We see hang gliders, with that panoramic view of Earth, soaring in peace. Photography drones are taking exceptional high-caliber footage, searching for people and pets who are lost in rough terrain, tracking wildfires. It’s not just stars anymore. We are becoming uplifted, living symbolically at more elevated levels. Our minds and attention are expanding. Yes, there are failures and foolishness. As we live in new ways, we have things to work out, and that will be done. We’ve got electric cars – robotic cars are already here, and sure, flying cars are next!
Take good care of your dear Aquarians. They can get so in their minds they forget they have a body. They forget to eat, don’t sleep, no Sun or fresh air. If they are bigger than you are, that’s a problem – you can’t make them, LOL! And they are probably smarter than you are. Do what you can.
The body is one thing, their mind is another! If they are kids, they are going to shred through toys within hours, a few days. What to do? Go places where there are lots of choices? Used toys could help you keep up with expenses. Go to space and Sci-Fi cons, air shows, visit airports. Make friends with air traffic controllers. Check out bird rescue groups. Get a good computer with games, rent a drone. Photography, video classes. Join the local Astronomy Club! Meet their heroes! If you are an adult, take yourself! Get out and blow the dust off! If ever they/you are going to meet a mate, these might be the best kinds of places. It takes one to know one!

Mercury acted as witness to the Ecliptic event and observer, documentarian of what he saw at that time and the results in the year following. Conjunct the Sun, the Transit of Mercury Eclipse, Mercury will be empowered by solar light, to express himself in the most radiant manner possible! People will listen. Mercury is the information gatherer, messenger. Mercury is strengthened to receive then report on Jupiter at the GALACTIC CENTER! He puts it in perspective, knows the meaning, intention, long term purpose! Mercury is the neighbor you know; Jupiter is, in this case, the galactic traveler, a fascinating impressive stranger!
Pluto was at the Ecliptic at 18 Capricorn 58 Rx. The Transit Mercury Eclipse will be sextile (opportunity) at 18 Scorpio 55 Rx. Mercury will move back to 11 SC 43 Rx when at the Galactic Center. Notice these are all Rx, retrograde. Retrograde means you have been there before and you will be again afterwards. It’s a 3 part cycle. Three chances. It’s good to get it right!
Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune are all in their own signs during Aquarius! See Jupiter in Sagittarius That’s a lot of pure strong energy. Jupiter and Neptune are malleable signs, in astrological terms, mutable. They are flexible, adaptable. Saturn stomps his foot and calls for responsibility and to abide by the rules and laws, honor your parents, the boss, elders and ancestors! You have to show him how and why that change makes sense. During Aquarius’s year, Uranus and Chiron are making their final sign changes. Feb 18 Chiron returns to Aries. While he is still in Pisces, we will review our choices and remember why some things are so important to our Spirits, how healing of subtle factors can be as crucial as getting your bricks in row. Mar 6 Uranus makes his final shift into Taurus. Uranus in Aries brought plenty of drought and fires in the western US, with floods in the East. Hopefully, in Taurus fertility will be naturalized and balance restored. Chiron takes 51 years per sign and Uranus 84 years. It will be that long before they will be in Pisces and Aries again!

Outer Planet Transits with Aquarius 2019 – Jan 2020!

OUTER PLANETS WITH AQUARIUS – Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Chiron, Saturn and Jupiter

Outer planets are the long term movers. Pluto and Neptune move only 3 degrees a year. Uranus at 84 years, and Chiron at 51 years, are advancing about 4 degrees a year for now. Saturn takes 28/29 years to make its orbit, Jupiter only 12 years, a sign a year! Depending on astrological patterns, some ‘events’ in our lives take many years, where others may happen toot sweet, right on or very near the date the event is exact! Some ‘events’ are not physical, but in our minds or Spirits. No one might ‘see’ them but you. Complex planetary patterns may overlap each other or be singular and direct. Some repeat; others are once in a lifetime. Some people have aspects others never have. Others have had aspects you won’t have until much later. Your astrologer can help you with your personal timing, understanding and strategies.
PLUTO is still in Capricorn but is changed. Oct 30, 2018 it made the rare 248 year aspect, Pluto conjunct the Ecliptic and is now below the Ecliptic! The Ecliptic is the Sun’s path around earth! Pluto’s debris was lighted, declared to be outmoded, cleared away. He was not only cleared, but became free to be charged with energy beyond imagination! His healing powers have increased exponentially! He gave that very energy to Sun and the Light itself is now more clear and radiant! So fresh, this is a powerful time for all of us, but especially Capricorns because this HAPPENED IN THEIR SIGN! Those of you with chart factors at or very close to 18 degrees, especially in Scorpio or Capricorn, have also been cleared and infused! Taurus’s tempo is about as slower than AQ as you can possibly get. Both are fixed signs, so an AQ sitting at the computer hours and days at a time looks pretty slow too. But that brain is sometimes faster than the computer! Taurus may stand in that meadow, letting the 4 stomachs do that digesting, but they are steadfastly taking in what’s around them, symbolically contemplating values step by step. Jupiter changing signs was preceded by an eventful NINE days started by the important 248 year aspect Pluto conjunct the Ecliptic!I had written ‘Pay special attention to Nov 6, 7, 8!’ The Camp Fire took the lives of 85 people. Nov 15 nearby Chico CA had an AQI, Air Quality Index, of 350 at one point.
Jupiter stays in Sag the majority of 2019, until moving into Capricorn Dec 2. Jupiter/Sagittarius never fails to impress. It can be a hero, and there are plenty of those at this time. It can be a knowledge or wisdom of an exalted teacher and that might be your local high school teacher. It can be a journey of great beauty or a maximum athletic achievement. A boundless love, a loving kindness, a gift, sharing. All these touch our hearts and make a story to remember. 2019’s first aspect is Jupiter square Neptune. There is so much going on at times confusion reigns, things can get a bit hysterical – sometimes scary – you could get lost, but it can be both entertaining and delightfully rampant as well, depending on where you are standing! Jupiter in Sagittarius is aiming to expand Neptune’s range of attention, and that’s almost an inconceivable idea because Neptune, especially in its own sign Pisces, is so all encompassing to begin with! But Jupiter, robust and mostly innocent in his intent to be benevolent, is undaunted. Saturn follows each of the three Jupiter squares with his sextile to Neptune, calming things down. Sextiles offer opportunity, and out of chaos, practical Saturn extracts what’s usable and doable, condenses it, converts it to productive function.
Mercury in Sag is square old Chiron, whispering funny things to him, tickling him so he forgets himself! And Mercury is mischievously fire trining Uranus in Aries! Some of the craziest ideas will make the news and bring unexpected success, while the creators, Mercury & Uranus, are not surprised at all!
Chart patterns that result in us all approaching life so differently…
Rock-a-bye baby…the current Bowl Chart Pattern started in 2018 when outer planet Jupiter moved into Scorpio. Jupiter then became halfway across the wheel from Uranus, with all the other outer planets between them on one side. When Jupiter moved into Sagittarius the outer planets became even less than halfway! Each period when the Moon, Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars pass from Scorpio through Taurus at the same time, this ‘Bowl’ occurs, all the planets on one side.
Depending on the time of day you are born, the ‘Bowl’ may be at the bottom of your chart collecting, or over the top pouring out its collection or making shade or being an umbrella! At the sides of the chart it may act as a wind scoop or buffer, satellite dish receiver! And so it is symbolically with those of us who have this kind of birth chart. We may always be gathering, sheltering, protecting, guarding what’s ours.
Children, adults, born with Bowl charts can be introverted, very skilled, value their possessions. They love rolling around, but in what they see as their own territory! They may be self-contained with great inner strength. They can be super generous if their Bowl is over the top or tips out abundance. If their Bowl is at the side of their chart they may have super focus and awareness of their surroundings, echo back what they see. The Bowl below may wait to see what falls their way, keeping the keepers, pushing out what doesn’t fit or is outgrown.
Some astrologers say Bowl chart people ‘need’ the part of their chart that isn’t filled. I don’t find that to be true. Many are quite content being exactly who they are, doing what they love. Focused and intent as they are, working for perfection, they already have enough to do, LOL! They do their job, let others do theirs.
A little more about Bowls! In zodiacal order, the starting and ending signs are important as such, and they are usually opposite! They ‘know’ each other because they are opposite sides of the same coin so to speak. The first sign takes up the thread. The information is passed along, refined, enhanced, is the final product at the last sign. That ‘line’ side to side, across the edges of the top of the Bowl can be defining or, as others might see it, limiting. Remember that you are seeing it from your perspective, not theirs.
If the mid sign between the first and last signs is occupied, it takes on importance because it often aspects those beginning and ending signs equally, influencing their actions with the same flavor. That can be in a common configuration to Bowls called a T Square! T Squares are considered challenging, but some relish the challenge, and after all, if you live with it all your life, somewhere along in time, you learn to use it well. That sign at the belly of the Bowl is the T Square point. It may ‘take the point,’ supported by the rest of the planets, taking precedence over all the other signs in the Bowl!
Dec 2019 the same conditions that make Bowls will apply, but Jupiter will also be in Capricorn trining Uranus, in only a THIRD of the wheel Mar 27 to April 3, 2022! ALL the planets span only 104 degrees! That pattern called, a BUNDLE, is the most rare! Exceptional people with fantastic specialty talents will be born! At that time, planetary events will have a singularity, others will be ‘neglected’ simply because there are no planets there. A person born in that period will become an expert – the rest is not their job. Pay careful attention to nurture the best in them just the way they are. Pay attention to their signals. Look ahead to those times so you can be in harmony with this extraordinary energy!
We will be living in a rare planetary time. As the coming years go by, the Bowl and Bundle charts will be common though Bundle charts are the most rare. 2020 Jupiter will be in Capricorn, Saturn will meander on ahead into Aquarius. Jupiter’s last conjunction with Pluto will be Nov 12, 2020, leaving Pluto to be the defining earliest planet. 2021 to June 2, 2024 Pluto and leading planet Uranus will be in less than a third of the chart! Many Bowl and Bundle charts will be possible. Jan 21, 2024 Pluto pops into Aquarius, Jupiter passes Uranus then trines Pluto June 2. From then on, the Bundle chart is not as tight, will soon exceed the degrees of the definition. When Jupiter makes it to Leo mid 2026, we are back to Bowl charts for a brief period. Then, Bowl charts won’t happen again until 2031. For Bundles it will be a long, long time as Uranus and Saturn move out of the trine/third from Pluto and the outer planets spread around the signs.

In the dark of the New Moon, expanded visions and wisdom anoint our Soul, especially this time!!! This one is conjunct the Galactic Center, the center of our Galaxy, 26 Sagittarius! The Galactic Center, GC, is a place of huge significance. It ties us with Souls or Beings beyond our wildest imaginings! We may dream or have insights, but more likely impressions that we don’t entirely understand yet feel are important, compelled by, point a direction. We are inclined to be more inclusive, to let go of the daily fraught, raise our sights higher. We see what surrounds us with greater comprehension.
Saturn conjuncts/conjuncted the GC 26th degree Nov 15 to 24,as it did 28, 29 years ago! Saturn in Sagittarius calls us to take charge of our future. Work it. Be present, accept the mission. Be respectful of all Paths. It started Feb 16 at 26 Sag 0, moved into 27 degrees and ‘stationed,’ stood still there – was direct/moving forward, then April 5 retrograded/turned back. It went back to 26/0 degrees May 25, right after the the second Saturn trine Uranus! That was three months that we were deeply infused. Now we see what needs doing, it’s time. Saturn square Chiron in Pisces comes first, a possible health challenge, a matter of addictions, old guilt, fears, depression. We have a ‘duality’ of light and seeming blindness, or a timeout to contemplate. And it is an illusion. We just can’t see the dimmer star though it is there.

2017 opens with three outer planets in Cardinal signs: Jupiter in Libra, Uranus in Aries, Pluto in Capricorn. Cardinal signs initiate. Aries is the spark, a leader. Libra, his opposite, invites, greets and makes introductions. Capricorn instinctively builds the shelter, protects the gathering. Together, we are inspired, form lasting unions. The six aspects that started Oct 23, 2016, repeat twice and continue through Nov 11, 2017. Thechallenging aspects run through Nov 2. Of 14 2017 aspects, 4 are considered favorable. The aspects span from 11 degrees to 27 degrees, so likely all of us will be activated one time or another. Jupiter, the fastest of the outer planets, makes 10 of these 14 aspects; Saturn makes the other 4. Continue to make sustainable living choices. Be ready and flexible for lots of changes.
Many are waiting, getting poised for the phenomenal 2018 sweep of positive aspects! There are way fewer aspects! It has 6 favorable, only 1 difficult at the end of the year. Sign Changes
Sign changes set the tone of and standards for the year. The first sign makes a secure platform for the next sign’s success. For example, Libra establishes fitting relationships, connections, for Scorpio works to be deepened. Sagittarius learns everything it can to get the Capricorn job/career, to make a significant Capricorn achievement.
For most of the year, until October, Jupiter and Saturn are in Libra and Sagittarius, outgoing and curious. Then Jupiter goes into Scorpio and it can get a little obsessed, ventures easily going on into the night, Scorpio’s favorite time. After we get used to this change of venue, Saturn finally makes his change into his own sign Capricorn! No more fun and games, it’s time to get down to business. Less socializing, things to get done, and they do get done! May be an inch at a time, but they are determined. Each step begets another. And it multiplies and goes faster as we get used to it!

In fact, the combination is another way of saying Pluto in Capricorn! Pluto is Scorpio’s planet! Capricorn is the last Earth sign. It’s majestic mountains jut up into the sky, magnificent views inspire our quests. Winter Solstice Capricorn builds strong because it knows just how much weather it could need to withstand. The 2016 Oct to Dec Jupiter set – inconjunct Neptune, square Pluto, opposite Uranus and inconjunct Chiron – will reverse through these 4 aspects through mid May holding the Jupiter inconjunct Neptune closely until July 4! It finishes the set entirely wildly Sep 27 opposite Uranus! The retrograde/direct turning points, adjustment making inconjuncts with Chiron and Neptune, are important because of the duration they are held and that they are turning points. Major aspect Jupiter opposite Uranus is super charged, expect bold changes! Jupiter square Pluto was the prominent Presidential Election aspect and holds the keys to the financial kingdom!

The Feb 26th 22 degree Mars exact conjunction Uranus, plus they opposite Jupiter should be spectacular to say the least! Hot pants Mars leaves Scorpio, enters Sagittarius Aug 2 at 10:49 AM Pacific. We’ve got places to go! It finishes the last lap of its retrograde pattern Aug 22, the day the Sun enters Virgo! Much of what has been waded through the past few months, since it started in February, has reached conclusions, some better than hoped for. People will be generous these last 20 days in Sagittarius. Mars is innovative and it is inspiring to see how much you can do yourself! Keep telling the story of your hopes and that moment when the scales tip! Listen for that inevitable support for things you need help with. It may not come in the package you expected, and there may be a go between here and there! With Mars in Sagittarius it may conclude swiftly, so hang onto your hat!
The New Moon is generally thought to be a quietening time, but in fire sign Leo and with Mars, a fire planet, swinging the bat in fire sign Sagittarius?! And just because it is a moonless night doesn’t mean there isn’t a mighty dance going on! This New Moon is in LEO, Father Sun’s sign! He infuses Mother Moon with all the Love he can give! HE IS THE LIGHT! She is so profoundly ‘enlightened!’ She loves him back, and in turn will be distributing that Light to all, especially the children! Leo is one of the teaching signs, a sign of role models. Remember your important impact wherever you are – at the bus stop, the clinic, in front of the City Council! Your bright smile and a hello may save a life. You saw them and respected them with your love. It makes a difference. It’s time to celebrate!
The New Moon makes two close aspects. 1) It has just trined Saturn. Moon and Saturn both have to do with the past, some think Karmic, old matters of Mother/Father. Saturn in Sagittarius reminds us of our intrinsic ethics and responsibilities, our commitments of good faith. Saturn requires our travels to be for more profound reasons, our learning to have purpose and to work hard for our certificates, permits, accomplishments. Leo can be more dramatic than Saturn approves of, but may be the key to getting donations for the cause! A gala! Leo may be late, may be the lazy lion, but when personally motivated, they are unstoppable, sweeping others right along with them, bright inspiration, and it’s fun!
2) Moon and Sun are oblique with Neptune, what we call an inconjunct aspect. Neptune may wither in the glare, and that is noticed. It may not come up in conversation, but a question is posed, what about that? It may be a haunting matter, am I ok, what can I, if I should, do any differently…. Or, Neptune may be immediately on spot, sensing subtle adjustments that make more magic, a support figure you didn’t expect! There may be the reminder not to sell your Soul or disillusioned by too much admiration or drugs that could mar your truest presentation. Some distractions widen our Spirit others are just a bad dream.
The South Node, on a 19 year cycle, is just about to kiss Neptune! Neptune will be a portal to what was a spiritual condition of the past. We may have been a savior or a victim, we may need forgiveness. Current addictions will need addressing. The dragon scales of myths and misconceived judgements will fall away leaving a bare spot, maybe a bit raw at first, a vulnerable feeling. Maybe you need to grab the dragon or maybe you need to be very silent, very still, and just listen.
Jupiter is coming up on the August 12 last opposition Chiron and August 13 last inconjunct Uranus! This is an important set because it will happen in reverse after Jupiter goes into Libra Sep 9. In December, Jupiter will oppose Uranus and inconjunct Chiron the last day of the year! That will be their first encounter in that combination, two more to follow during 2017. What we do now stirs that energy, explores what is needed to make adjustments. Recent events, Orlando, Dallas, bring up the need for a lot more change. The aspect combinations to come starting in December may have more shocking fallout than what has already happened. See more
Mercury in Virgo is making its way to square, challenge Saturn in Sagittarius. Mercury is clever and quick, and Virgo considers how to organize every detail. It can create a smooth working system or something that drudges and falls boringly from its own weight. Let it breathe. Step back, cock your head for a look from a different angle. Saturn in Sag wants to get to the point, and get there on time. Once assessed, the job may be entirely dropped, and rightfully so. Saturn may tell a truth you can’t deny. Or, it may surprise you, corral the pieces and shape things up into a divine working order for very little cost! Might take some contributions of your time, but the project may be most happily salvaged!

About the GALACTIC CENTER! It is the center of our great Milky Way Galaxy. Per Paul O Hewit, it is ‘probably the second strongest spot in any astrology chart, following the Sun. It is a stunning source of energy, motivation, and aspiration. The Galactic Center is the Sun of our Sun.’ And, he says ‘Some clients with aspects [planetary connections] to the GC speak of not feeling 100 percent human, or not feeling they have had human ancestry. Their inner dynamic is centered around feeling as if they have come to this planet from some other place.’ Investigative mythologist, William Henry talks about ‘…a race of Stargate time-traveling ascended human beings dwelling at the center of our galaxy, and how each of us can utilize the Stargate through self-improvement. Special note: This one is a little confusing. If you are using the Maynard calendars it is listed as a penumbral Lunar Eclipse. But definitions have changed, and per NASA it no longer qualifies. It only grazes the earth’s penumbral shadow and is not visually perceptible.
Celebrating Jupiter Opposite Chiron, Inconjunct Uranus!These Jupiter aspects we just had Aug 12 & 13 are so important because we will be having these planets in reverse aspects starting Dec 2016. Jupiter will be opposite Uranus, freedom matters, and inconjunct Chiron, healing and teaching. Immense changes in store! 2015/16 they were from 18 to 24 degrees but of Virgo, Pisces and Aries. Full Moons, Moon opposite Sun, widen our Spirit to maximum capacity! Sun in his own sign LEO is as brilliant as it gets, Light everywhere! Moon in Aquarius is the invitation to expand into extraordinary realms! We can work with others that have great differences and approaches for the same causes! Moon and Sun are in a harmony pattern, called a Bow by some, with Uranus, the planet of Aquarius. The Full Moon opposition is just leaving, one degree off, from the Jupiter opposition with Chiron. The Full Moon signs precede the Jupiter/Chiron signs. They are considered to give inspiration for the following signs, Virgo/Pisces, to provide a foundation for the work to come. Venus was there first! At the New Moon she trined the Galactic Center! See above Now the Full Moon has moved into position! The Sun is where Venus was, trining the Galactic Center and the Moon is at the Midpoint between The GC and Uranus! She was wearing her tiara, he is wearing his golden crown! Now all those 24/25 degree planets are making a Grand Fire Trine/Kite pattern! That is considered to be lucky and remarkable! Fire can be jubilant; Grand Trines have been know to be lazy, and Leo can be the lazy Lion on the savannah…. When not lazy, Leo can be athletic. How about some summer camping and hiking with friends, somewhere inspiring?! Take your video camera! Try skydiving or hang gliding! Do some creative graphics, write the script yourself! Take on a summer play that shows a better way!
Parallel inconjuncts! [The two purple lines] Parallel and equidistant patterns have their own peculiar potency. Mercury/Jupiter inconjunct Moon and Sun inconjunct Chiron. They truly are parallel because there are factors at each point at 24 and 25 degrees! In this case the parallel is the same aspect, they have the same dynamic. A chance encounter in a glance. An adjustment, course correction likely. Moon is leaving; Mercury makes his connection with Jupiter exactly Aug 22 2:05 AM Pacific. There are lots of details to be considered, decision immanent. In Sun’s inconjunct, he too is leaving. There was an oblique exchange, Sun a little mystified perhaps. Chiron warmed by the visit, but unsure what Sun wanted. Maybe just an observer on the sea…. Now it’s quieter again, but there are things to mull over due to the revelations when Sun put light in the dark.
The two parallel inconjuncts are linked by semi-sextiles. Though a minor aspect I have seen semisextiles be strong! A common one is Sun semisextile Venus bestowing wealth in corporations. Here, Sun is semisextile lucky Jupiter! Both are good natured, athletic, teachers! Jupiter in Virgo takes a health spa vacation, hikes cross country, or takes a leadership seminar or enjoys a writers’ conference! Plays and publishing! Join the Guild! Moon is semisextile Chiron. Moon in Aquarius and Chiron in Pisces both can enjoy alone time whether flying or fishing! If a cause is involved they may find themselves with masses of people, maybe at a concert to raise money. Sometimes it takes a village, an awakening, to do a healing of long held sorrows. Deeper change may require a personal immersion in suffering to open a heart to compassion.
Arrowhead aka Focused Yod! Mercury/Jupiter are the point of the 5 planet configuration. Moon and Uranus are the frame for the standard Yod form, but in addition, Chiron is midpoint between them! Energy is usually thought of its being brought into play by the planet that moves into position, called approaching. In this case that would be Mercury. Though Moon moves faster, it has already contacted and woken all the players, including Mercury, with the feeling of change. Mercury wants to name the change, and in earthy Virgo, to ground it in our thinking, to find practical ways to inaugurate it.
Generally energy goes every direction. All planets are alive always. As another planet has awakened them, they have also given their energy to the passerby. Yod planets ‘behind’ the point planet(s), track the background. Those prongs, the scanner planets, have gathered intelligence, perhaps for aeons, and when triggered by close encounters like this, send it to the planet(s) at the Yod point, which in turn synthesizes it with its own and sends it out potently, three for one style! Mercury and Jupiter at the point, are rulers of opposite signs Gemini and Sagittarius, information, what it means and its purpose. Being together they are working in unity, coordinating the best factors of both. They like a bit of fun on the job, and may juggle things about for a good spitball fight!
That also works in reverse! Mercury and Jupiter are also always scanning, seeking. They snoop out the details in Virgo, organize it to potency better than a vitamin pill or a clean white shirt, and disperse that to the traveling companions trailing behind! Everyone is on the same page! Any one of the points in the triangle may take precedence when needed or if potently connected with your chart!
Aug 19 is Mercury’s first pass of the Jupiter Opposition/Inconjunct point, 24 Virgo, before Mercury retrogrades Aug 30. The Mercury Retrograde Cycle in Virgo started Aug 10. Mercury will cross 24 Virgo again Sep 9, the day Jupiter enters Libra, and October 3. See more These three crossings will keep the Jupiter set’s ideas in mind. The things we planned to do will be reviewed, updated. These are the preparations for the reverse aspects that start in Dec and go through 2017.
Venus, in Virgo now, was just trine Pluto. That can be a wealth aspect or the fears of not having enough. Virgo wants a plan based in actual skills. Pluto in Capricorn may mean hard work to get the training needed. Money to go to school may be in question, but with steady effort, likely doable. Get some help from advisors, seniors, pros in the field you want to get into. You will do better if you do things you love. Virgo and Pluto are up for better health and with right guidance, healing is a good bet!
Mars conjunct Saturn in Sagittarius square Neptune in Pisces is no easy combo! It may be slow and cold then hot and dry, over the desert into the sea! Mars hates going slow, being blocked, and Saturn can be like a brick wall, even in Sagittarius! Sag does have its opinions. Sag likes getting to the point and moving forward, but the Neptune fog is too thick to see through to take aim. Who knows where that trail is, dagnabit! Don’t be surprised if you get lost. If you are a hiker or at sea, be sure all your emergency devices are working and check in daily. Be a little careful about falls, weather conditions. Stay hydrated. Be patient with others and their difficulties. Be helpful as you can but take good care of yourself first.
The other notes. Saturn teaches us to conserve and in Sagittarius to focus. Scattered energy delays and confuses. Mars can help when Saturn loses confidence or old age is troubling. Mars says pick up your feet, let’s get a fresh start! Look, I’ll show you! Sagittarius can help us laugh even when we are down, and we all do have our foibles. Neptune helps us soften when Saturn can be rigid from habit. Saturn is the doubter but Neptune in Pisces is the dreamer and dissolves all the old boxes. There are no limits. Saturn does remind us the rent needs to be paid, so no running away or slipping into denial no matter how much fun it is! LOL So let them work for you too. Some old stuff needs to be busted, let to fall, less weight to carry. That new building is better!

The Moon and Sun stand alone this time, very early at only 2 degrees.
Earth is definitely the number one factor. This Full Moon is called the Full Grass Moon, super fertile! It is the day before Earth Day April 22! Taurus is the first Earth sign, and there is an Earth Grand Trine/Kite formation in the Full Moon chart!!
Taurus is a blessed sign ruled by Venus. Love is the basic element in their heart. They are known as founders of organizations, often non profits. They make beauty as they can everywhere they go, every day of their lives. Flowers, healthy plants and foods, facelifts, charmingly graceful clothing, toned bodies, lovely boudoirs. Taurus is the sign of Mother Earth, conservation, permaculture, the ecological enormity of climate change.
The Moon in Scorpio may be shy, often quite private, possibly inexperienced. It would take a gentle Taurus to nuzzle up and waken that dragon without getting burned or bitten. Taurus can wait until Scorpio becomes the one who can’t! Taurus is a consummate sensualist, and Scorpio loves being gradually teased to ecstasy.
In business these two have such different styles. Taurus likes a secure feed, continuous bread and butter income. It certainly does accumulate and they often have vast land holdings. Interest and earnings get plowed back in. Scorpio loves a corporation, many mergers later, the income is over the top, way exceeding what the original founders hoped for. Together there can be many divisions and options, some come, some go, flexible. Taurus wants its own money in pocket; Scorpio shares and blends. Prenups for both.
The very lucky Earth Grand Trine/Kite starts at Jupiter 13 Virgo. Jupiter is retrograde in station, has traveled to old places, back as far as it will go, to retrieve some unfinished information to complete the project. It might want to publish, but is not quite ready yet.
Jupiter is very close in trine with Pluto, next at 17 Capricorn. They are thinking about ways to prosper and alliances to make for excellent health and living conditions, meaningful research, accounting, and production. Trine Pluto, Jupiter expands Pluto’s thinking, creates an intense desire for increase. They are both just waiting for another lucrative option to come their way. Meanwhile, details of negotiations in progress are being ironed out. Miraculous healing potential is in the offing.
Pluto is followed by Mercury at 21 Taurus. Jupiter and Pluto have been looking for ways to build their estate, both physically and in Spirit, long term healing of the Soul. Mercury paid him a trine visit the 17th, the day Mars retrograded. This focused energy while Mars was in Station (appearing to stand still in the sky) held the connection so an intelligent, verbal and mindful merger could be formed, maybe papers were signed. Mercury in Taurus will carry the message Jupiter in Virgo has gleaned and is bestowing, reality checked by Pluto in Capricorn. Mercury now values that information, consummating the intent that the Word will be spread in fertile places.
Mercury has a prime part in the Full Moon Grand Trine!
The Earth Grand Trine started with Jupiter, now it finishes with Mercury at a same degree trine the North Node retrograde at 21 Virgo! The Moon’s North Node is thought by many to be a karmic factor of past lives. What a lucky connection! Knowledge from long ago is brought forward, revealed in detail. Virgo is the second of Mercury’s signs, so there is a working rapport. Virgo is the placemaker, health helper, organizer, fund manager. A lot can get done.
Mercury’s very next connection, making the Grand Trine even luckier, is in a Kite pattern with Chiron, the Centaur of healing wounds, teaching, marriage and business! Excellent. Mercuryis importantly key because the 19th, the day the Sun came into Taurus, Mercury was, for the first time, at the degree of the TRANSIT of MERCURY coming May 9! It is now carrying the TRANSIT of MERCURY energy! See More!
Mercury sextile Chiron in Pisces sees Chiron’s vision, puts some words to it, helps ground it and start the founding of a magical, possibly spiritual venture. With Chiron just having been with the Moon’s South Node, things from the past, past lives, may play a part. Relationships matter in a new deeper way. Integrity is more important than status or numbers.
There may be a surprise harmony of purpose since Venus, Taurus’s planet with Uranus, both in Aries, are semi sextile midpoint between Mercury and Chiron! Of all times, say what you want and why you want it! Being on the same page is incredibly potent and peaceful! There may be a temporary sense of being off center – it’s just a spot you’re not used to being in yet – but you will be so glad you spoke up. If that doesn’t go as well as you hoped, maybe you are better off to move on. Perhaps you have planted a seed that will pay off handsomely later on.
Mars has been riding along square Neptune for some time. Allowing a 5 degree range, it started way back March 18! They have been quite close as Mars slowed to retrograde, then Mars retrograded at 8 Sag 54 while Neptune was at 11 degrees. There has been whispering, hinting, haunting. Neptune rules Pisces and is currently IN Pisces, the last sign. Mars rules Aries the first sign! One dreams and visions, the other takes action to make the dream come true. In Square, there have been constraints. Neptune is somewhat inaccessible at times, hard to read, too soft to really get our attention. Mars has been traveling about in Sagittarius, perhaps too busy to focus, not always in town. There are some kinks in the circuits that will at times be unresolved background noise. The exact square won’t finally close until August 25!
Outer Planets Mutable T Square! Jupiter has been in close square with Saturn in Sagittarius since our Pisces Moons. See lots more! Jupiter is up, Saturn can be down, Neptune shy and unfathomable. Jupiter inspires and invites, Saturn does the hard work, Neptune intuitively guides the enterprise. Jupiter wants to travel to the healer, Saturn finds the best rates, Neptune is already there calling you home. Saturn is at the point of this T Square, so he has weight, the power of experience, authority, timing. Saturn takes responsibility while Jupiter may want to run away and Neptune simply vaporizes! It’s tough herding kittens. If Saturn is too much a heavy, the others give up or it never gets off the ground at all, the energies too disparate. But if Saturn is clever, each is given a task they can’t wait to do, and not too much at once, please, then there is a pleasing result, just not as much as hoped for, or you may be happily surprised! Sometimes it is the finding ways to work together, any steps in the right direction, that are more worth it. Our hopes and expectations may be forever modified, more blended, our listening capacity opened, and in Spirit, in our Souls, we get much further in a good way.

This is a super important New Moon! In Taurus it is solid, immovable, strong. It opens the doors to new beginnings. It strengthens, stabilizes and supports us to be able to receive the titanic 7.5 hour solar infusion of the TRANSIT of MERCURY!

Grand Earth Trine inSweet Taurus! 4 Planet Stellium, cluster, in Taurus!
Venus is in one of her own signs and in a lucky trine with Jupiter retrograde in Virgo coming back to meet her! There will be blessings on our projects, writings, landscaping and veggie gardens in the days to come. The exact trine is May 10 at 12 Noon Pacific!
Moon and Sun have already trined Jupiter, the Sun on the 3rd, and the Moon just hours before, sealing the deal, at 7:06 AM Pacific. Sun has brightened the opportunities; Moon has added her nurturing to bring the good results we have hoped for. Focus on the long term good. Put your energy where it will grow well.
Moon and Sun are in a 1 degree trine with Pluto retrograding to meet them! This is a super aspect of power and wealth. It may be gentle to watch since Taurus is thoughtful first. Suspense builds. A partnership long wanted may finally become openly agreed on though some of the agreement will be private or confidential. When Taurus gives their commitment, they are loyal and will build the foundation needed for the perpetuity of the cause. Pluto in Capricorn has many potent connections that will lend expertise, fund a product or program for the good of all. It could be research, healing. Jupiter is retrograding away from the trine with Pluto, so it all won’t be as big as it could be, but further ideas are there ready to fulfill when Jupiter turns direct, forward, and that trine is made June 26!
Mercury is retrograde, going back to trine Pluto May 12. Some paperwork may be signed then, but don’t forget, Mercury is retrograde, and things may fall through in spite of the signatures. Mercury goes back to 14 Taurus, almost makes it back to trine Jupiter exactly at 13 Virgo, but is just over a degree shy. So, we think about what we could do, but those contracts are not signed. We are enlivened, see the details, how it could be, but it isn’t the time yet. Still, we carry the ideas with us, and they help shape our intentions, enhance our chances.
Venus and Mars are adding love and beauty, action, to the Mutable T Square through Neptune. The T is Neptune in Pisces, its own sign, opposite Jupiter in Virgo, both of them square Saturn in Sagittarius at its point. Mutable signs adapt, are flexible, offer change, move with the times.
Venus is first. In addition to her trine with Jupiter, first she sextiles Neptune. That is an old fashioned Soul Mate combination. Venus loves for love, beauty and money, but Neptune loves because he sees your Soul, the sufferings, your dreams. Neptune has understanding beyond words, empathy, compassion. That Love is more spiritual than material. Venus in Taurus loves her pleasure, the textures of life, being in her body, on this Earth. When Neptune makes music, whether etheric or rock and roll, Venus enjoys the dance. It’s an exquisite ballet blessed with grace, perhaps a sensuous symphony, maybe a benefit for some marvelous cause!
Though Mars retrograde in Sagittarius didn’t make the exact square with Neptune, there is still a feeling in the air of no languishing in the ashram! Gotta get up and take it on the road! Time to preach it to the people, put the vision on the podium, show them the pictures! Mars came close, took a peek, got Neptune excited, and is now going back to spread the good word to some interested parties.
Moon and Sun inconjunct Saturn in Sagittarius reminds us that our actions have a far reaching, sometimes long enduring impact, occasionally consequences! Saturn is more that just simple timing, it is our life’s work – Dharma, Karma if you will. Taurus holds energy by nature. Give them something worthy of keeping, fertile, that will unfold through time, growing good for our community. Be in communion with your family, neighbors, friends, that we may learn together, teach meaningfully in joyous ways suited to each special Soul. Taurus is a very personal sign. They steep in themselves to be totally self aware like the Buddha who sits. Let their peace be at our center, well grounded.
This 16 degree New Moon is immediate support to the May 9 TRANSIT OF MERCURY, Eclipse of the Sun at 19 Taurus 25! Mercury is retrograding back to make the conjunction. On average there are only 13 of these Eclipses per century, so this is an uncommon aspect. The next is Nov 11, 2019. After that, it’s 2032!
The Mutable T Square has been a long term combination. The New Moon Taurus Stellium is comparatively only a few days, but potent with Moon and Sun together, and Venus in one of her own signs! That they are in an Earthy 6 planet Grand Trine, the most favorable of astrological planet patterns, indicates both substance and that reception is in place for the potent volatile solar infusion through Mercury. Taurus represents treasures, enduring values, loyal sustainable love, stability. Venus is noted for kindness and grace, simple wisdom. Together they will keep the information received safe, focus and strengthen it in time to come. They will make it hum with beauty, irresistible, ready to be shared.
Both this New Moon and the TRANSIT of MERCURY open gateways to Jupiter in Virgosquare Saturn May 26, only 20 days away. Jupiter is in Station, appears to be standing still, as it turns direct, forward, just 3 hoursbefore the TRANSIT of MERCURY! Information will be steeped for maximum potency and focused at Jupiter’s station point, then unfolded gradually as Jupiter gains momentum going forward. Some of the information will be organized, filtered by Virgo’s no nonsense ability, utilized increasingly, 10 fold, as it gets integrated with our lives and our frequencies are stepped up. Matters of health, our life processes, rights for animals, where we live, will be considered. Jupiter will pass it by Saturn for his consideration. Saturn will test it, build on it, take it with him, moderate the timing, delegate to people of appropriate ages, place it at key educational points.
Astronomically this is a New SuperMoon! The aspects make it a super New Moon!
Next is the Full Flower Moon, spanning Gemini/Sagittarius. In India it is Buddha’s Birthday, called Wesak. It is Saturday May 21 at 2:14 PM, 1 Gemini/Sagittarius 14. x
