Lunar Eclipse Full Wolf SuperMoon!

Sunday January 20 at 9:16 PM Pacific, 0 Leo/Aquarius 52

5 in Fire, 3 in Capricorn, Saturn sextile Neptune!

Aquarius 2019 Lunar Eclipse, Full Wolf SuperMoon!

The Leo/Aquarius Lunar Eclipse starts Aquarius in bodacious style! It is a glorious SuperMoon befitting Leo’s big heart and has a wolfy bite to it you won’t forget! Apropos to fiery Leo, during the eclipse the Moon will glow orange like a giant ember burning bright!

At 0°, the Eclipse is fresh and frisky! Leo is athletic and Aquarius can invent things to do spontaneously that will make your spirit sizzle! It’s bright, and it’s electric, neon! Leo brings their love and Aquarius scatters it like a lightning rainbow! Though very different, Leo and AQ are both show stoppers. Leos toss their manes, dance dramatically, romance you until there is no resistance! Aquarius can make you want him to care because he doesn’t pay you any mind at all. He’s seen it all. He doesn’t necessarily try to get attention, but is so unique people simply stop and stare. Or he’s so intelligent with such amazing ideas, that people are astounded. From Harley to inventor! He can be bad, bad, bad, or so ahead of his time people don’t have a clue and write him off after a brief initial encounter. When they understand, they know he’s a treasure beyond words!

What Leo and AQ do have in common is an uncommon sense of Self. At first, for Leo, it may be awkward teenage discovery. But Leo on his own, is an individual in full bloom, very self aware, has a mighty presence and plenty of prowess! AQ is exotically himself with a lot of detachment, often not caring what others think, living in his own world. If he has found a niche with others of his kind, community is formed, with passion for the cause. If the desire for freedom overrides all else, he may always be ok alone. Leo is leaders on stage. Aquarius is getting it all on the computer, the Internet. Aquarians can always use a good Leo front person in the mix. A good Leo is proud to have such a saucy and high ranking Aquarian to showcase, a glorious cause to speak for!

We have a pretty little configuration with Saturn sextile Neptune at 13 and 14°. They are sweetly snuggled within the Mars trine Venus/Jupiter! This Full Moon Eclipse follows the Jan 13 Jupiter square Neptune, and precedes Saturn sextile Neptune, the first two aspects of 2019. The dreams we opened to when Jupiter was with Neptune, we are now weighing in the Full Moon scales, in preparation for making them come true as Saturn is with Neptune. An impressive sequence of unusual aspects started with the Oct 30, 2018 Pluto conjunct the ecliptic. The coming 10 months of Jupiter/Saturn Neptune aspects lead up to the Nov 11 Transit of Mercury Eclipse and its sister aspect Nov 19, Jupiter conjunct the Galactic Center! Those in turn prepare us for the Jan 12, 2020 Saturn Conjunct Pluto and Mar 21 The Crown!

Saturn Sextile Neptune is the Master of Dreams combination! Saturn is scientist and Neptune is the shaman Dreamer. Both are in their own signs, practical Earth and sensitive psychic Water. Saturn builds the dreams; the Dreamer guides the Builder, the master of time and wisdom. The sextile will be exact January 31!

Mars in Aries is the 4th planet in this chart that is in his own sign! Jupiter in Sag, Saturn in Cap, and Neptune in Pisces! All four are pure and in essence, have greater potency than usual. Add the bigger and brighter SuperMoon Eclipse to this and it’s almost surreal!

Mars in Aries is in the same sign with Uranus, adding sparkle to Uranus’s last fire light before Uranus goes into earthy Taurus March 6! Mars is clearing the path, lighting the way, for Chiron who will go into Aries Feb 18. Chiron and Uranus will then both be in Aries for 16 days!

Mars trines Venus and Jupiter in Sagittarius. With the Moon in Leo, all 3 fire signs will be tenanted. Venus trined Mars the 17th and 18th. She soothed him to consider sweetening his approach, have more finesse, more fun. He inspired her to be forthright, more independent and not delay. He encouraged her to teach, make the story of her adventures tempting, that others would have courage to do theirs! She will conjunct Jupiter, the Oracle, the 21st/22nd, appreciating his style and fearless perspective. He may publish her work. She may decide to go in with him on his next venture. Mars trines Jupiter the 25th, and Jupiter, already in motion 98% of the time, rarely feels a nudge from behind or gets circled, but Mars in Aries has plenty of punch and lots of zoomies! Even the big lucky guys can get a bit complacent or burned out at times. A newcomer upstart, younger, can be so enthusiastic we remember that used to be us. We stand up and straighten our spines! Their new ideas are perfectly spot on and inspiring! Jupiter is famous for leaving, but Mars is even quicker – only a few days – but wow! A lot can happen in a short time!

Mars squares Saturn Jan 20/21 at 13° within that trine too! It can be like running into a Saturn brick wall! But Mars is in Aries, it’s own sign, and rams know how to butt heads with the Capricorn goat! Cap will feel it and have to check out the disturbance in the valence, LOL! Sometimes Mars gets away with a bit too much just because he’s fast. But Cap is the law and he’s aware of trouble makers and generally knows what to do with them. Mars has options. Slow down, approach in a crafty off side manner. Give it up. Bring your credentials and impress him. Call him out and ask for a sit down. Cap may be annoyed, afraid, surprised, pleased at Mars’s courage. Saturn, please, at least give a quick listen. Don’t miss the boat for the possibly rough manner of presentation. Could be someone you think is too young or just rebels for their own sake. But there may be more to it than that. Why did they work so hard to get your attention? The interruption, delay, may be well worth it.

Couple the Saturn/Neptune at 13/14°, the Mars-Venus/Jupiter at 13, 14, 15, and we’re talking getting some things done! Mars square Saturn calls for a more careful presentation, emphasizing the value of new ideas. Those of you with factors in your charts from 11 to 16 will find yourselves to be a part of this scenario. Jupiter squared Neptune January 13th, and there is still some confusion, things being sorted through the 31st. The brew will then be on simmer until June 16/18.

Chiron and Uranus have been carrying on in a semisextile since November 2008 and will through September 2021, 13 years! Though it is a minor aspect per most astrologers, it becomes important through its enduring connection and repetition. One of its two 2019 exact aspects will be/was Jan 19, the day before the Eclipse! Chiron is considered by many to be a shamanic healer, and Uranus is the humanitarian well ahead of his time. With the Internet these days, that healing is going through the ethers to every Soul. Chiron heals what’s strange in us, more a matter of kinks in our etheric web. Uranus gives old Chiron a little more juice to motate, to see more dimensions of the world web!  See more

Pluto and Mercury are in Capricorn along with Saturn, a powerful Stellium. Mercury conjuncted Pluto the 18th, so ideas Mercury got are still feeling important, maybe a little dangerous, but vital. Our thoughts with one another need to be clean and healing. We need to be careful with what we share, when, and with whom. Pluto carries a lot of deep information that is likely key to our life force. We need to tap that wellspring then learn what it means, how it works, before we put it out mainstream.

Mercury in Capricorn is a little conservative, so it is with skepticism, even a little cynicism that he squares revolutionary Uranus in Aries the 22nd/23rd. Mercury is forever curious. Being logical, in straight thinking Capricorn, to see a wild card up front in person is an intriguing, if a tad scary, experience! It is the last days of it’s being in Capricorn, so is feeling strong in his own thinking, wants to preserve and uphold principles hard won. Yet, sensibly Mercury here knows it is also proven that keeping up with the times and being innovative has rewards too. A keen eye and a realistic open mind can make judgments, selections, that initiate progress that serves well.

Be strong in your lead, true to your heart, take the high road!

Aquarius New Moon!

Monday February 4 at 1:04 PM Pacific, 15 AQ 45

First Lunar Bundle Chart! 15° Tipping Points, Potent New Moon Midpoint, 3 STARS!

2019 Aquarius New Moon Chile's Atacama Desert Astro-Tourists Telescopes Observatories!

Nowhere on Earth is better for stargazing than Chile’s Atacama Desert, where super-observatories have opened up to a wave of astro-tourists seeking unpolluted skies.

It’s the first Lunar Bundle chart! All the planets are in just over a 1/3 of the chart! It’s the first in a long time. It spans from Jupiter to Uranus. [In this chart you can see it – Jupiter is the planet furthest right at the horizontal line across the chart. Go up to the left to red Mars/purple Uranus concludes the group. The three not in the group are items of interest but are not planets.] Truthseeker Jupiter is potently in his own sign Sagittarius! He is the Traveler/Teacher sees the Path, makes plans for the future, holds the principles of integrity, the caliber of the endeavor. He tells grand stories that have led many to greener pastures! It’s playful, loves sports, is optimistic, loves a good gamble! What a wellspring to push the whole program forward! See more about Bundle charts!

Uranus, at the bundle’s leading edge, is the electric sizzle of humanity! Fiery inspirational Mars is right behind him, keeping that cosmic computer crazy intelligence going at top speed! It’s so easy to get distracted by brilliant ideas along the way. Jot those down and get them in divine order so they can help each other as they go – one leading to the next! This Jupiter/Uranian combination is quite a gift. Uranus is always remarkable, well ahead of our times. Jupiter can make the extraordinary seem like everyday fun, cloaking the changes to good avail. We see the benefits and we are making excellent progress!

Jupiter won’t make the exact trine to Uranus until they have both moved into Earth signs. This prelude in Fire signs, Sagittarius and Aries is inspiring and will keep ideas flowing and wheels turning! Uranus goes into Taurus March 6. Jupiter goes into Capricorn Dec 2. They will make the exact trine late this year, Dec 15! Get long term projects started now. Know that they will change complexion when the sign changes happen. Taurus’s job is to simplify, center, ground and stabilize, maintain, be steady in the Light. Get things working now, make the process workable, before those sign changes happen. Then we maintain and wait. Jupiter will still be working his magic, new learnings shared, some of it from ‘foreign’ places. When Jupiter goes into Capricorn, at first there may be a lull as things are reprocessed. But soon as that happens, things will happen fast. Cappies mean business! They do more than simplify; they condense and their process is potent! The most happens for the least effort.

Look at all those 15°! The 15th degree is the mid degree of a sign, the tipping point, halfway there! Perhaps what has been in discovery, is put into practice.

STARS! Besides engaging each other in the New Moon chart, all those 15s are also aligned with three prominent fixed stars! Saturn opposes the Star Sirius at 14 Cancer! The New Moon inconjuncts it, and Neptune trines it! It is the Dogstar in Canis Major, the brightest star in the heavens. Saturn is currently at the same degree as Vega, Lyra’s bright star, and Neptune sextiles it! Saturn in Capricorn with Vega, opposite Sirius in Cancer highlights the Cancer/Capricorn axis of the Mother and Father, our commitments to kin, basic functions in life, food and shelter. Vega puts music and arts in our life and Sirius is Orion’s loyal hunt dog. This is so brief. Look more online at their histories, lore, data! Go to spiritual sites for deeper discussions.

Not only is the dog involved, but so is the hunter himself! The New Moon is trine Orion’s star Rigel at 16 Gemini, while Neptune squares it. Rigel has mixed reviews. Mythologically it was thought to be where the scorpion stung Orion causing Orion’s death. Oops. A trine is a favorable aspect in astrology, so I’m leaning toward more favorable thinkings. About Rigel and the Sun, Robson says: Bold, courageous, insolent, unruly temper, hasty actions, bloodshed, many enemies, great good fortune, military success. Elsbeth Ebertin noted a connection of Rigel to the Sun and Moon, in charts of several world record pilots, leading to sudden difficulties in the carrying out of planned enterprises resulting in failures to reach the set target. The Neptune square could add to that…

Within the bundle, from Jupiter to Neptune, the planets are closely knit by degrees. With the four at 15°, including the New Moon, plus Jupiter at 18°, Mercury at 19° – that’s six planets all aspecting each other closely and they all in less than 90°, a square! Jupiter leaving his square with Neptune defines the square, they now being only 87 degrees apart! That Jupiter aspect has recently opened a lot of channels to mystical places, given purpose to ideas we didn’t understand before.

Fittingly the New Moon sextiles the bundle starting planet, Jupiter! Sextiles offer a blend of harmonious signs, prosperous affiliations. They are good for informations exchange, in this case fire and air ideas. The New Moon in Aquarius is a merger of the Lights, a communion of Father Sun, Mother Moon – men and women, self within family. In Aquarius it is fulfilled by the union of Humanity. Jupiter offers expansion and growth, success, thinks big, bigger! Cultivate limitless thinking!

Mercury, Mind, with the New Moon, is considered exalted in airy Aquarius, the sign of the highest intelligence. It is electronic, fast as lightning. Internet networking. Mercury listens, spreads the Word among brethren, both at the local level and internationally! It awakens our mental function, opens our awareness. Words are quickly succinctly placed where they will have the most potency! Mercury conjuncted the Aquarius Sun Jan 29, infused with the Light of Change! His communications are brighter, stronger, galactically intelligent. Mercury was sextile Jupiter the day before, so all those plans for spreading the good word planetarily are fresh in mind. There is a lot to be said to many people. There is a sense of how we are all connected in myriads of ways. Ideas that seemed odd are now finding their niche. Things we thought we couldn’t do before are happening now! We are no longer ordinary mortals!

Saturn sextiled Neptune Jan 31, just days before our New Moon! His job is to take the best most workable ideas of the Jupiter square Neptune and parlay them into use. These three will aspect each other, two more exact times each, through Nov 8. They are preparing us for the Nov 11 Transit of Mercury Eclipse and its sister aspect Nov 19, Jupiter conjunct the Galactic Center! Those in turn prepare us for the Jan 12, 2020 Saturn Conjunct Pluto and Mar 21 The Crown!

Potently, all at the SAME DEGREE, the New Moon is semisextile Midpoint, equidistantly, between Saturn in his sign Capricorn and Neptune in his sign Pisces! The Aquarian New Moon is radiating energy of evolutionairy (no typo) change equally to Saturn, the planet of holding time, archaeology, and Neptune the planet of compassion and mergence. Air sign Aquarius literally lightens, uplifts, their perceptions. Saturn’s construction becomes in behalf of a saving grace, starting with planetary sustainability.

Saturn and Neptune equally impinge on the New Moon! Saturn requests a spiritual architect’s rendering so not to miss any crucial part of this new kind of structure. Aquarius must use his genius and foresight to anticipate not only what is needed now but what in turn will be needed as a result of the changes made now. Aquarius is lightning fast, from one idea to another, crossing miles and millennia faster than you can blink! Saturn has to stop that for a few moments so they can make a connection here and now for the purpose at hand. AQ understands that, but it’s hard to ‘slow’ down when you are at warp speed. Not his nature. Neptune is the guardian of non logic, psychic perception. He keeps us aware that clever minds are only valuable in behalf of the feeling, at times illogical, humans they serve. Aquarians have a built in air/don’t care function that saves them from feelings that don’t make sense. Yet, we must do our best to balance both needs. Sometimes we have to sacrifice some of what would be the ultimate best. Sometimes we must bully our way through and pray for acceptance later. It may be a critical turning point that must be put in place.

Three outer planets are potently in their own signs! Purity prevails. Jupiter is frolicking in Sagittarius. Saturn is steadfast in Capricorn. Neptune is apperceptive in Pisces. Mars was in Aries at the Full Moon and is still in Aries, offering spirited leadership, Initiation.

Mars is now only 5° from Uranus, will conjunct him Feb 12! Mars is having a great time propagating excitement in his own sign Aries! No stopping! He squared Pluto on the first, looked danger right in the eye! That glimpse, was a combination of mortification, purification, and staying alive to tell the story! His dedicated leadership is more fearless than ever, and he, as one individual, takes on the Goliath of humanity’s foibles! Uranus often has vast connections, so Mars, bringing the fire to the feet, can have more effect than anyone ever expected. Uranus admires a tough advocate who has something of potency to share! He admires rebels who shake things up! Uranus gets bored with the everyday drivel, is used to going for huge gateways, but there has to be something fresh now and again to wake up the customers! This will be their last meeting in Aries for 84 years!

Venus stands on her own at 1° Capricorn, just starting her work. She just recently squared Chiron, he at the last degree of the entire zodiac, 29° Pisces! He is finishing a 51 year stint around the entire zodiac and is about to start another! His sign change into Aries is only days away, making the shift Feb 18! His accumulation of healing and spiritual wisdom is enormous. He has an understanding of wounds, both receiving and inflicting. He has become a shaman teacher. Some say he is the planet of marriage, business partnerships. Venus in Capricorn has respect for such accomplishment, appreciates what he stands for. She may have been uncomfortably challenged by him to put Soul before earthly goods and good looks, that she is wonderful just the way she is, God made. That can be hard to accept at times. She may not at this time agree with all he said, but she feels encouraged anyway. What she does approve of, she will work for, lending it her particular touch of beauty and timelessness.

Gather your energy, go for the tipping point! Use your limitless thinking!

Saturn sextile Neptune Architect Michael Schutte undersea residence!

World’s first off-the-shelf undersea residence, available to anyone who can secure a piece of seabed to build on. By architect Michael Schutte. Thanks to Karine Rousseau for this magical image!

Saturn is the architect and Neptune is the sea, the Great Spirit! In a 2014 BBC interview Michael says ‘Much of the necessary technology is available, and becoming more affordable. It includes cell-cast acrylic used to make giant viewing tanks in public aquariums capable of holding back millions of gallons of water.

A sextile aspect indicates the combination of two compatible signs, Saturn in Capricorn – hard science, and Neptune in Pisces – no bones at all, more like a jellyfish! Earth and Ocean water represent opportunities! Of course, there are variations. Saturn rules bones and knees and we often find ourselves humbly and intelligently surrendering. Neptune also rules rigid ships at sea, and huge sharks and whales – not so rigid, but nevertheless formidable.

Ocean industries opportunities abound! Shorelines are crammed with businesses of all kinds. Fishing industry for food to novelties for tourists. Sporting businesses – rentals to purchases, clothing and gear. World famous surfing and sailing competitions. Spas and restaurants. Harbors for live-ins. Huge harbors sheltering seagoing business ships, with all the maintenance required. Spectacular cruise ships. Worldwide exotic entertainment. Swimming with dolphins, whale watching tours. Marine research and maritime museums. The Coast Guard.

Far away shorelines are places of solitude, rest and comforting peace and beauty. A place to paint or enjoy photography. Walking tours for relaxation. Cozy bed and breakfasts, local home style restaurants, fishing and sporting gear available. Maybe a retreat.

Saturn and Neptune are also both intensely in their own signs. Saturn can work hard then can use a place to let it all go, to soften his Soul. Maybe he works in town then hits the road up coast to his private quiet dwelling. That rest, timeout away, lets him go back with a clear head. He realistically evaluates myriads of Neptunian projects, keeps all the irons in the fire at once, timing each perfectly. Away from the clamor, Neptune inspires his dreams. He remains dedicated to the vision. Neptune sees Saturn’s focus and gallant efforts, and in turn pulls himself together to give Saturn the support he needs by not over saturating him with additional unneeded information. Neptune lets go of fantasies, bonds with Saturn, and helps him ‘see.’

Saturn may ‘marry’ a spiritual life, or make a sacred union with a special person that has his utmost respect, that has proven themselves to him over time. He may come to see a situation that calls him to establish a compassionate organization that can help. He may lead it himself or be sure it is well cared for and funded.

Saturn is the master composer. Neptune is the spiritual Shaman of music. Their music together can be haunting, pounding with intensity, subtle or like a hammer! Timing can be sinuous or clipped right sharp. It can be jazz off center, a sound or rhythm that seeped into us from exotic indigenous peoples, from a dream with no history. It can be folk tunes, country, protest, a toe tapper, or popular bright lights type with glamorous famous singers on stage! Saturn and Neptune can cover a lot of sound ground between them. They can make music alone or together in the most astounding sophisticated symphonies blending all kinds of woodwinds, brass, percussion, and strings to perfection!

Work that fulfills our soul, precious solitude, and divine music can be just perfect for our health. If Saturn stays in alliance with Neptune, he will be sensitized to knowing when things aren’t quite right. Take care of them soonest so they don’t make more and bigger complications later on. Let go of being blind or in denial. You can do this – well. This is all a metaphor for how we conduct our lives. We help each other to follow our dreams. Balancing work and time out makes so much sense. Excellent alliances keep us true. And we can use many styles and instruments to make glory!

The greater viewpoint in time…as said in Jupiter square Neptune

Jupiter squares Neptune three times in 2019. It is the first aspect of the year, Jan 13! It’s retrograde aspect is June 16, and the final aspect Sep 21. Each of those aspects is followed by a Saturn sextile Neptune, Jan 31, Rx June 18, and Nov 8. ALL three of these planets are in their own signs, each the expert of their place, holding purity! Jupiter might discover Neptune nattering quietly along unsung. Jupiter may question the truth of Neptune’s incredible dreams, but soon finds himself expanding the vision, enhancing what it offers! Jupiter is a natural born promoter! He just has to bring Neptune up to speed, to believe in the bigger picture! Saturn the Builder determines what’s possible and figures out how to do it! Too good to pass up. The June 16 and 18 Jupiter/Saturn retrograde mid aspects are very close. They are particularly important since the 16 and 18 events are at the 18th degree, the degree that links Pluto at the Ecliptic and the Transit of Mercury. They are intensified by the Gemini/Sagittarius Full Moon right between them June 17! That Moon wants info from the horse’s mouth, to know what it means and the plan for what’s ahead!

All of these precede, lead up to the Nov 11 Transit of Mercury eclipse and its sister aspect Nov 19, Jupiter conjunct the Galactic Center! The uncommon Transit occurs on average 13 times a century, so the connections to Neptune are important. They help us have clear vision to understand the Transit and express its messages. The Transit of Mercury holds an unusual status in being connected with the 248 YEARS Oct 30, 2018 Pluto conjunct the Ecliptic!  Mercury will have stored up the data as it observed Pluto, before and after, seeing what it meant to people and what they did with it. The Transit is when Mercury crosses the Sun’s face. Mercury will be infused with Solar Light, the highest power energy of our Solar system! It will be the dynamic Messenger to explain more of the Pluto event. It will set key information into pivotal points, the most functional places. Jupiter at the Galactic Center will be infused with the Light of Galaxies, linking heaven and earth!

These in turn prepare the way for the Jan 12, 2020 Saturn Conjunct Pluto and Mar 21 The Crown!

The Oct 30, 2018 Ecliptic crossing was at 18 Capricorn 58; the Transit is at 18 Scorpio 56! The June 16 and 18 Neptune activations are at 18 Sagittarius/Capricorn 43!  They are all at the same degree! You with chart factors at 17, 18, 19 were, and still will be connected, especially those of you with your factors in any of those three signs. Though the dates are not in zodiacal order, the signs involved are – Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn! That makes Sagittarius in the important position of being the midpoint sign, equidistant from the other two! Factors that are midpoint equidistant have double potency, their contribution equally distributed, shared with two, sometimes more, other planets! The midpoint sign/factor(s) are in turn receiving from two different sources equally, they expanding the range and knowledge of the midpoint factors! Some of that is the potency of time tested historical proceedings; some is an invite to future possibilities!

The timetable summary of upcoming events:

  1. First was the Oct 30, 2018 Pluto Ecliptic crossing in Capricorn, an old Shaman Master of many dimensions.
  2. The 2019 first ten month’s Neptune transits made by Jupiter in Sagittarius and Saturn in Capricorn prime us for teaching, spreading informations succinctly far and wide by the most efficient means possible! The network is being set up. It will have a lot more to carry after the Transit.
  3. The Nov 11 Transit of Mercury Eclipse is in Scorpio, Pluto’s sign! Mercury is the Word, and in Scorpio it delves deep into the powers of things, each of us and our interactions. It is powerfully backed by the Light of Lights, our SUN! It disperses the information Sun infuses through it.
  4. Jupiter conjunct the Galactic Center Nov 19 is the sister aspect to the Transit of Mercury, only a few day later. It stupendously connects Heaven and Earth!
  5. These in turn prepare the way for the Jan 12, 2020 Saturn Conjunct Pluto and Mar 21 The Crown – the final 3 outer planet Capricorn stellium!

Believe in yourself and the magic of divine order. Blessed be.

Jupiter square Neptune Alice wonderland rabbit cat crown cards

Alice wondering in Wonderland!

Yes, Life is a minute to minute gamble! Jupiter loves the game, the on-your-feet life of chances! Neptune is thrilled by the unfolding intuitive seeing that makes a winner, knows the unknowable! It’s the wild card! It’s like having your own private ongoing movie! Sometimes the cards are agin you and other times you can’t lose!

What a walk through MagicLand! You might see Dorothy at Oz or Alice with the Mad Hatter! Or you might go right through the StarGate! Both planets are in their own signs, so each stands strong, their experience intensified! Together, in this combination, they are scattered – taut in your hands, the deck is shuffled and slips through your fingers into an explosion of chaos! Your fate is a blur in every direction, yet divine order always prevails. We just don’t always understand. And we are fascinated.

Jupiter loves a good long trip, whether on foot or horseback or some amazing conveyance! Neptune might take you on that long journey right where you sit and meditate, no ticket required. You could arrive at an Unknown that can’t be read, or into insights beyond understanding, into outer space! A cruise ship might be pricey, but the marvels of the sea and exotic civilizations are intoxicating.

A Square brings its challenges. Sagittarius and Pisces are both mutable, changeable signs, but different! Jupiter is a fire sign planet, 98% optimistic. They live big, so much so that they are prone to exaggeration, for good or bad! Neptune, a water sign planet, can be shy as a San Francisco fog at night, or as ferocious as a tsunami that washes the entire island clean! It has huge imagination – either of dreams and visions of God and grandeur, or of painful failures that leave them lying in the gutter, helpless and homeless, even sadness and loneliness forgotten. This is where that obnoxiously wonderful Jupiter comes in with some ideas and lifts you back up with hope you never thought you would ever have again! It’s practically a divine miracle! Jupiter isn’t even tender about it, because they believe in you! Their robust voice goes right to your Soul and that big smile takes a little getting used to, but it’s genuine.

Sometimes these two brush past each other, barely realizing the other is there. Jupiter may need to just go alone at times, and whisks by. Neptune needs his solitude, is so focused he barely notices your presence. Also, Neptune is quite sensitive about where he is and all places are not for him. Sometimes he senses there may be trouble ahead and no kind of pushing will make him go. There are times he should be listened to, and Jupiter is so disappointed. Try another time. Go someplace else with somebody else?

There are major differences in their travel styles. Jupiter often takes a journey from shrine to shrine, temple to temple, big meeting places. His ideas are often sourced by people met along the way. Neptune often goes to retreats, the ashram, and stays for various lengths of time, even years, sometimes taking silence, no connections to the outside world and not missing them. Jupiter feels lost without his companion, his spiritual guide, abandoned. Sometimes the Saint, the Neptune Dreamer, needs to be rescued from himself. If the meditation, the ashram, becomes an escape, it’s time for Sag therapy! How much do we believe in that vision anyway?! It’s time for the Sag master plan to make it come true! Neptune’s finely calibrated awareness fine tunes the progress, not missing a trick. And he shows Sag how to take time out now and again. It’s ok to just lay that glorious Sag body down for a good rest, have a few dreams of his own…

With both planets being in changeable signs, it’s like shifting sands, you never know what to expect of them, or they of each other! Tough to nail this one down. But then it isn’t meant to be, is it?! A good dose of unsurety, makes us look about for more answers. We find opportunities we hadn’t thought to look for before! One of the beauties of this combination is their adaptability! They adapt to people, circumstances, adjust to project changes. Jupiter sees the future perfect and keeps that a priority. Pisces keeps the even longer future in mind, the future of the Soul, many lifetimes. It keeps relativity to the highest good for humanity in mind. As we go along, it fixes old relapses that can occur, reminding us to keep our Spirit clean of subtle debris that would slow us down or obscure our vision. Addictions of any kind, food, drugs, even a particular form of spirituality overdone, won’t do. Moderation helps. Keep moving. Keep learning.

When these two roll together it’s like a seal and an otter, a sight to see! Jupiter is athletic, has a healthy stride, and goes the distance! In summer it might be surfing, in winter snowboarding the slopes! Neptune loves water sports, swims like a fish,  water skis, races yachts, surfs worldwide, ice skates the lakes in the winter! Each takes the other places they have never been to before. Glorious!

At its best, Jupiter square Neptune will offer astounding leadership, impressionable people will be enamored with the new stranger in town. Turns out what Jupiter offered will not be perfect, but it will make us think, and we won’t be the same when he’s gone. The gate has opened, no going back to the way it used to be. Since Sag and Pisces are mutable, adaptable signs, it will be surprising how much we can take in during a short visit! We will make it our own.

The greater viewpoint in time…

The Ecliptic crossing was at 18 Capricorn 58; the Transit of Mercury is at 18 Scorpio 56!

2019 New Year AstroLogical Chart! Bowl, Capricorn Stellium!

2019 New Year’s Day’s Bowl chart starts the year with a three planet Stellium in Capricorn that is part of the longest stellium of 2019!

  • Dec 22, 2018, the day after Winter Solstice/first day of Capricorn, the day of the Cancer/Capricorn Full Moon, to Jan 5, 2019,  three planets in Capricorn! Includes New Year.
  • Jan 5, the Solar Eclipse Capricorn New Moon, to Jan 6 Moon and Mercury join to make FIVE in Cap.
  • Jan 7 to 20, first day of Aquarius, Lunar Eclipse Full Leo/Aquarius SuperMoon, FOUR planets in Capricorn. Includes the Jan 13 Jupiter square Neptune, the first outer planets aspect of 2019.
  • Jan 21 to 23, three in Capricorn.

En total, 32 days! During those days there will be three Lunar events, the Cancer/Capricorn Full Moon, the Solar Eclipse Capricorn New Moon, and the Lunar Eclipse Full Leo/Aquarius SuperMoon! There are only three 5 planet stelliums in 2019. The next is in Virgo, the last is in Capricorn at the end of the year. Capricorn strongly starts and finishes 2019. Commitment, the Builder, achievement. It’s a cardinal earth sign that gets to the point, gets things done, and on time!

Briefly, in the New Year chart, Sun is about to conjunct Saturn, Capricorn’s planet! New Years always start with the Sun in Capricorn, the heart of our commitments, self-fathering. Mars is at Zero Aries, the first degree of the entire zodiac, rebellious as can be, a leader of new beginnings! Truly a fresh start! Both feminine planets, Moon and Venus, are in Scorpio looking after our underpinnings. Moon is sextile Scorpio’s planet Pluto, the healer, power broker, astute investor. Venus is embracing the deepest parts of Spirit in a Grand Water Trine with Chiron the Healer/Teacher in Pisces and the Moon’s North Node in Moon’s sign Cancer nurturing all. Water is sensitive, intuitive, often compassionate.

2019’s first aspect is Jupiter square Neptune. There is so much going on at times confusion reigns, things can get a bit hysterical – sometimes scary – you could get lost, but it can be both entertaining and delightfully rampant as well, depending on where you are standing! Jupiter in Sagittarius is aiming to expand Neptune’s range of attention, and that’s almost an inconceivable idea because Neptune, especially in its own sign Pisces, is so all encompassing to begin with! But Jupiter, robust and mostly innocent in his intent to be benevolent, is undaunted. Saturn follows each of the three Jupiter squares with his sextile to Neptune, calming things down. Sextiles offer opportunity, and out of chaos, practical Saturn extracts what’s usable and doable, condenses it, converts it to productive function.

Mercury in Sag is square old Chiron, whispering funny things to him, tickling him so he forgets himself! And Mercury is mischievously fire trining Uranus in Aries! Some of the craziest ideas will make the news and bring unexpected success, while the creators, Mercury & Uranus, are not surprised at all!

This same chart starts the 2019 Bowl Charts.

Chart Planetary Patterns - Bundle, Bowl, Bucket, Locomotive, Seesaw, Splay, Splash
Chart patterns that result in us all approaching life so differently…

Rock-a-bye baby…the current Bowl Chart Pattern started in 2018 when outer planet Jupiter moved into Scorpio. Jupiter then became halfway across the wheel from Uranus, with all the other outer planets between them on one side. When Jupiter moved into Sagittarius the outer planets became even less than halfway! Each period when the Moon, Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars pass from Scorpio through Taurus at the same time, this ‘Bowl’ occurs, all the planets on one side.

Depending on the time of day you are born, the ‘Bowl’ may be at the bottom of your chart collecting, or over the top pouring out its collection or making shade or being an umbrella! At the sides of the chart it may act as a wind scoop or buffer, satellite dish receiver! And so it is symbolically with those of us who have this kind of birth chart. We may always be gathering, sheltering, protecting, guarding what’s ours.

Children, adults, born with Bowl charts can be introverted, very skilled, value their possessions. They love rolling around, but in what they see as their own territory! They may be self-contained with great inner strength. They can be super generous if their Bowl is over the top or tips out abundance. If their Bowl is at the side of their chart they may have super focus and awareness of their surroundings, echo back what they see. The Bowl below may wait to see what falls their way, keeping the keepers, pushing out what doesn’t fit or is outgrown.

Some astrologers say Bowl chart people ‘need’ the part of their chart that isn’t filled. I don’t find that to be true. Many are quite content being exactly who they are, doing what they love. Focused and intent as they are, working for perfection, they already have enough to do, LOL! They do their job, let others do theirs.

A little more about Bowls! In zodiacal order, the starting and ending signs are important as such, and they are usually opposite! They ‘know’ each other because they are opposite sides of the same coin so to speak. The first sign takes up the thread. The information is passed along, refined, enhanced, is the final product at the last sign. That ‘line’ side to side, across the edges of the top of the Bowl can be defining or, as others might see it, limiting. Remember that you are seeing it from your perspective, not theirs.

If the mid sign between the first and last signs is occupied, it takes on importance because it often aspects those beginning and ending signs equally, influencing their actions with the same flavor. That can be in a common configuration to Bowls called a T Square! T Squares are considered challenging, but some relish the challenge, and after all, if you live with it all your life, somewhere along in time, you learn to use it well. That sign at the belly of the Bowl is the T Square point. It may ‘take the point,’ supported by the rest of the planets, taking precedence over all the other signs in the Bowl!

Dec 2019 the same conditions that make Bowls will apply, but Jupiter will also be in Capricorn trining Uranus, in only a THIRD of the wheel Mar 27 to April 3, 2022! ALL the planets span only 104 degrees! That pattern called, a Bundle,, is the most rare! Exceptional people with fantastic specialty talents will be born! At that time, planetary events will have a singularity, others will be ‘neglected’ simply because there are no planets there. A person born in that period will become an expert – the rest is not their job. Pay careful attention to nurture the best in them just the way they are. Pay attention to their signals. Look ahead to those times so you can be in harmony with this extraordinary energy!

We will be living in a rare planetary time. As the coming years go by, the Bowl and Bundle charts will be common though Bundle charts are the most rare. 2020 Jupiter will be in Capricorn, Saturn will meander on ahead into Aquarius. Jupiter’s last conjunction with Pluto will be Nov 12, 2020, leaving Pluto to be the defining earliest planet. 2021 to June 2, 2024 Pluto and leading planet Uranus will be in less than a third of the chart! Many Bowl and Bundle charts will be possible. Jan 21, 2024 Pluto pops into Aquarius, Jupiter passes Uranus then trines Pluto June 2. From then on, the Bundle chart is not as tight, will soon exceed the degrees of the definition. When Jupiter makes it to Leo mid 2026, we are back to Bowl charts for a brief period. Then, Bowl charts won’t happen again until 2031. For Bundles it will be a long, long time as Uranus and Saturn move out of the trine/third from Pluto and the outer planets spread around the signs.

Many people, Souls, will be called on to have the much needed specialties of these charts to concentrate on planetary matters – environmental and social.

These 2019 dates are when the planets are in 1/2 or less of the chart making a Bowl Chart!

New Year to Jan 17
Jan 27 to Feb 14
Feb 23 to Mar 14
March 24 to April 10
April 22 to May 7

At this point Mars extends past the halfway point in the charts and doesn’t get to the opposite side, opposite Uranus until Nov 24. Moon is with Mars the same day and the other personal planets are also now in just half the chart again!

Nov 24 to Dec 9
Dec 21 to Jan 7, 2020

Many people born these two years will have this powerful configuration. Keep their Spirits well fed. They may quickly absorb, knead, devour, grind up, nibble and nosh, dispatch and dispose of what’s not needed or done with. They will take the polished results to the bank! It’s sort of like panning for gold – a little random, a lot likely!

Chance favors a prepared mind. ~  Louis Pasteur (a Bowl chart with SIX planets in Capricorn, sign of Science – 5 of those from 0 to 7 degrees!)

Full Cold Moon! Solstice Moon!

Full Cold Moon!

Beautiful bright night, Dec 21 Winter Solstice is followed by the Dec 22 Full Cold Moon 9:49 AM Pacific at 0 Cancer/Capricorn 49!

Traditional Cancer/Capricorn, Jupiter, Mercury square Neptune, Saturn Sextile Neptune!

2018 Cancer Capricorn Full Cold Moon Star Heavens Solstice

Star of wonder, Star of night, Star with royal beauty bright
Homeward leading, still proceeding, Guide us to Thy perfect Light

Winter Solstice is the darkest longest night, a night of new beginnings as each day after gets a little longer and the Light comes back. The very next day the Full Cold Moon is a new beginning too at ZERO Capricorn/Cancer. Mother Moon is feeling quite comfy in her own Sign Cancer. She’s keeping the home fires burning, might be making gingerbread cookies and tasty eggnog! Cappie makes sure the firewood is in and the long night doesn’t seem so long. Lots of love, feeling safe to think about the New Year to come. Yule gifts are so appreciated, and support our most meaningful choices.

Children will be coming home, families will be gathering, elders and friends are visited or join us. Some will be sorely missed, not with us on this plane anymore. Bless their souls and comfort us. Schooling and our work, businesses will be discussed. Take time out to walk alone for a while each day, to recenter in your own being, to bring back gentle kindness. Allow primary differences to coexist. Capricorn and Cancer are both staunch protectors of tradition, but let yourself also allow for creativity to spark fires we never knew burned within us! Say, I’ll think about it, and give it some time. Things have a way of working out. Respect the elders and respect the youngers. Love it up!

There are few ‘active’ aspects in the Full Moon chart. That means the majority of aspects, planetary connections have already happened, our job is to carry them forward. The active aspects haven’t completed yet, are still being addressed.

Past Aspects

In the last three days, Sun in Sagittarius squared Chiron in Pisces, trined Uranus. Sun tried to trick Chiron a bit, help him heal a little faster, give him some business tips from other cultures business styles, even could have tried to offer him some imports to sell, or to get him to export something special he produced. They could have easily disagreed over ethics, the ‘truth,’ or beliefs. Things might have gotten a bit tangled. But the trine with Uranus, a more flowing aspect, brought them back to friendship and it became more about how fun it could be to surprise everyone else! Off they went together!

Venus in Scorpio just brought her sweetie Neptune his favorite chocolates. Chocolate vitamins are the best! He sings her favorite fairy tales. He tells her mythic stories of lovers who saved each other, so eloquent they will never be forgotten. She shares some of her secrets knowing they will be safe with him. That means a lot and he is touched. She is so charismatic even the old man of the sea is swayed by her powerful Grace. He feels her deep caring and healing. The loss of loved ones is lessened. They both understand spiritual matters, the essence of Soul. At the end of the day, together they rock the baby and soon everyone is asleep, dreaming with the Angels.

Mars, feeling his way along in Pisces, made a sextile with Pluto in Capricorn. Mars’ intuition and surprising strength of character may have impressed Pluto. He could have gotten hired for the holidays and the job be kept afterwards. Mars may have secretly inspired Pluto to be a little more tender using his own strengths. Pluto in Capricorn, more financially inclined, may modify some of his intentions, be reminded of his integrity, and acknowledge more of his spirituality.

Upcoming Aspects

Jupiter and Saturn The two most important aspects of the chart are the two most important of 2019, active now through November 2019, preceding the two extraordinary sister aspects, the Transit of Mercury and Jupiter conjunct the GALACTIC CENTER!!! The two eleven months aspects will each happen 3 times, the more difficult yet creative one is first, each time followed by the one that figures out how to do what can be done! The first two are in January, the retrograde pair are close Jun 16/18, the last two are apart from each other in Sep and Nov.

But Jupiter, robust and mostly innocent in his intent to be benevolent, is undaunted and his exaggerated tales make your howl with laughter. Who cares if you believe it or not?! Saturn follows each of the three Jupiter squares with his sextile to Neptune, calming things down. Sextiles offer opportunity, and out of chaos, practical Saturn extracts what’s usable and doable, condenses it, converts it to productive function.

Mercury, right in front of Jupiter, squares Neptune too! Due to the retrograde it happens Mercury squares Neptune at this Full Moon too, at the SAME degree, 10 Sagittarius! Mercury is generally is a fast mover, makes a quicky square. Mercury is pretty clear in Sagittarius, has his opinions. He has his usual ‘chatter’ but in Sag he’s looking for meaning too. He’s more likely to pick a direction. Or, he’s scattered more than ever with all those Sag possibilities in mind. Neptune too can go any which way. Either it’s mass confusion and illusion, or you would give your life for what you are dedicated to! Mercury is usually logical, Neptune is famous for those psychic curve balls! Good thing Mercury is quick on his feet in a fire sign, like a flash in Sagittarius, the sign of the nimble traveler avoiding the potholes! Good luck!

Practical matters: With this square, confusion is common, getting lost happens, lost luggage may never be seen again. Think carefully what you want to take with you. Since Mercury and Jupiter are so optimistic in Sagittarius, wait to sign papers. Being trusting, they may overlook important words or the lack of them. It may be innocent, naive, or an out and out scam! Mercury may clarify what Jupiter is hoping for, but may also exaggerate and overwhelm Neptune who only ever wanted a quiet life behind the scenes. Either you have to jump in and grab Neptune before he retreats, or gentle down your approach so he doesn’t shut down right before your eyes. Tell the truth or not, but if you do, do it very kindly. The lot of you might get in some funny or not so funny trouble. Try to leave drugs/alcohol out of it. Being too smart or arrogant may not play so well. So just go to the concert instead?! Mercury makes the exact square Monday the 24th at 4:33 PM. Caution Fri/Sat/Sun nights, drive carefully Monday afternoon. No dares, no races, no bets. Be safe.

Mars is trining Moon’s North Node. The North Node is spanning the Full Moon axis, with the North Node in Moon’s own sign Cancer, the South in Capricorn. The nodes work for balance between old, what used to be, the South Node, and what’s needed now, the North Node. These signs are classic, the vertical axis of the natural astrological chart. North is at the bottom of the chart, South is at the top. The Bottom is at home, with Mother and children, while the top is Father out in the world making wages, establishing the family’s reputation. Mars in Pisces is sensitively offering new ideas. He could be so subtle that Cancer never realizes what was said in passing conversation was so important. Pay attention to what the new person in the group is about or is saying.

Pluto took the Light with him down under, below the Ecliptic Oct 30! Now Kundalini and Phoenix style he is ‘raising’ Hell, LOL! What an awesome job. The mighty midterm elections brought more ethnicity, more women, and LBGTQ! Pluto will have to make many powerful yet delicate shifts to bring these new people into productive work in their new jobs, help them stand tall yet balanced, to facilitate and establish their new ideas into a working part of our fabric. This Full Moon is equipped to help see many facets that need to be harmonized. Cancer and Capricorn want the best for their children, the generations. Likely, environmental matters – extremes of weather, clean air and water, good soil for food, housing, will be important to them, as well as medicine and education. They are what we astrologers call Cardinal signs, the ones who get things moving. They stand strong for fundamental truths.

In the long term, these events will be leading up to the Nov 16, 2019 Transit of Mercury and Nov 19, 2019 Jupiter conjunct the Galactic Center!

In respect and full honor, Blessed be…

Capricorn New Moon Solar Eclipse!

Saturday January 5, 2019 at 5:28 PM Pacific, 15 Capricorn 25.

Solar Eclipse, 5 Planet Capricorn Stellium, Jupiter/Saturn with Neptune!

Capricorn 2019 New Moon Milky Way Monument Valley AZ John Vermette

The Milky Way arching over iconic rock formations at Monument Valley, Arizona. Stunning photo by John Vermette!

Happy New Year! First Lunar event of 2019! First Eclipse of 2019! First of three 5 Planet Stelliums of 2019! The Eclipse is the important lunar event before 2019’s First two outer planet aspects, Jupiter square and Saturn sextile Neptune Jan 13 and 31st (reversed numbers – 13/31!)!

Mercury, Saturn, Moon & Sun, and Pluto, all in Capricorn, are celebrating the start of 2019! The second 5 Planet Stellium is in Virgo, the third is in Capricorn again at the end of 2019.

In the Stellium….

Mercury is strong and hard working in Capricorn, getting the word out on the New Year Agenda. He wants a commitment, how much and when, by whom. He is coming up from behind the Capricorn group, will first confer with Saturn to get the top priorities, the latest news.

Mercury is square Mars. In Capricorn, likely Mercury is shaking his finger at Mars, saying slow down! Mars in Aries wasn’t born to slow down! He’s frisky as hell and loving scaring everyone around! He’s leading the way and no one’s going to stop him! New territory always has that fresh feel, goes right to his head! Mercury will have but a few moments to catch his attention, so get to the point and don’t make it sound like an order, LOL. See how you can help him, not hinder him! Could try a little reverse psychology, or dare him though… Mercury will square him exactly at 2:04 AM Pacific the 8th, so the 7th is the day it peaks. Mars could trip Mercury up, take up his time, yell at him, be annoying, be of no help at all, and not even listen. Mars himself could fall or need help and there goes Mercury’s plans for the day. Ok. Be careful, do the best you can.

Saturn is in his own sign, and his responsibilities almost seem to have doubled, though Capricorns are tough and determined. He will find a way. Likely he’s the boss and can get some help, just needs to keep tabs on the crew and the project on track. If he’s a new year father, he’s probably as proud as burst buttons, and a wee bit tired too. Parents and elders may figure in strongly.

Jupiter & Saturn Jupiter is not in the stellium but forms the first of the two most important aspects in the chart, the two most important of 2019! They are active now through November 2019, preceding the two extraordinary sister aspects, the Transit of Mercury and Jupiter conjunct the GALACTIC CENTER!!! The two eleven months aspects will each happen 3 times, the more difficult yet creative one is first, each time followed by the one that figures out how to do what can be done! The first two are in January, the retrograde pair are close Jun 16/18, the last two are apart from each other in Sep and Nov.

2019’s first aspect Jan 13 is Jupiter square Neptune. There is so much going on at times confusion reigns, things can get a bit hysterical – sometimes scary – you could get lost, but it can be both entertaining and delightfully rampant as well, depending on where you are standing! Jupiter, in his own sign Sagittarius, is aiming to rev up the motors, expand Neptune’s range of attention, and that’s almost an inconceivable idea because Neptune, especially in its own sign Pisces, is so all encompassing to begin with! But Jupiter, robust and mostly innocent in his cheerful intent to be benevolent, is undaunted. This is a rather friendly square. Neither one minds a little fascinating random chaos. Saturn follows each of the three Jupiter squares with his sextile to Neptune, calming things down. Sextiles offer opportunity, and out of that chaos, practical Saturn extracts what’s usable and doable, condenses it, converts it to productive function. Not bad.

Moon & Sun are sporting the first Eclipse of 2019, a Solar Eclipse! This pup is a partial, visible in Asia and the western Pacific. Not our turn. New Moons always seem quiet because the night is dark, but together in the heavens, they are in recharge mode! Moon is getting infused by Sun’s Light! She is the liaison between Sun and Earth, us! This time they are exactly lined up with us, so expect some surprising Capricorn potency! Did you take that responsibility you said you would? Are you clear about your commitments? Are you keeping your calendar up to date? Moon rules our everyday life, taking care of the kids, food, giving us hugs. But she also collects and remembers as she goes throughout our community, so let’s Sun know what’s needed. She soothes his fiery Spirit, encourages him to stay Bright. She gets tired, Sun knows, so he burns away her worries, makes her secretly feel like the Mother of all Amazons! She winks, gives him a cute little curtsy, and she’s back to work. Who would have ever known that happened?

Moon is in Capricorn, her opposite sign, so she acts like a liaison from her natural sign Cancer to Capricorn as well! Sun shines forever, rather impervious, and Capricorn, utterly dedicated, has no time for chit chat. Plus, Cap is the citadel protecting Sun. This conjoining with the Moon is likely the most receptive he will be. Moon is very sensitive; she syncs up with him. He knows her sincere caring and listens well, cherishes her insights.

The New Moon has just sextiled Neptune, gathering in masses of perception. They are separating the wheat from the chaff that will help Saturn make his decisions when he sextiles Neptune. Sun is putting the light on what glows; Moon sings a little song of her own making when she likes a special little bit. Saturn is already very close to the sextile, only just over 2 degrees to go, so the process is in full bore.

Pluto is the most powerful, the last planet in Capricorn. Moon will feel her way by him 4:12 AM Pacific the next morning. She is fresh from the Sun, looks into some of the dark places, spreads a little Light in the key core places, gives him a hug. She listens to Pluto’s hum. He tells her what to be careful about, shoots her a little healing and on she goes. Sun himself gets there 3:36 AM Pacific on the 11th. That can be one of the most wealthy combinations in the zodiac! It can be major healing or transitioning right out of this life. Relationships are crucial. Do the right thing. Mercury makes the connection 12:01 PM Pacific the 18th. Believe me, it will be a crazy day for some. Wild things open the doors and Mercury will be there to take a look, OMG! That info will be recorded and passed along, possibly quite carefully. Could be wiser to observe and hold for later. If it’s revelation time, then go with it, but stay safe. All these connections will have root resonance in the Eclipse. Take some time that day to think what outcomes you would like and keep that in mind as you make your decisions.

Saturn closes to less than 3 degrees of Pluto when Saturn retrogrades, turns back, April 29, 2019. They don’t conjunct until January 12, 2020! That will be a heck of a time! The conjunction occurs in another Capricorn 5 Planet Stellium. Jupiter stands alone, but Sun, Saturn, Pluto and Mercury, 4 planets, are ALL WITHIN 3 DEGREES of each other! Since Pluto has been in Capricorn for some time, having Saturn, Capricorn’s planet, there too will certainly amplify the Capricorn factor. Saturn, the Builder, wants to make sure Pluto achieves his goals! Pluto might take the troublemakers down, could be a major power play, take over! Financially it could be our worst fears, depression like circumstances. Gird your loins! Saturn/Capricorn might bring the law and Pluto doesn’t get away with it anymore. Saturn with Pluto happens on average every 34 years. It will have prime significance to the 2020 Presidential election.

Pluto, Scorpio’s planet, classically has to do with money, inheritances, mortgages, taxes, insurance, bankruptcy, funding, lifelong love/cheating, intimacy and sexuality, obsessions, murder/rape, medical research/healing – extremes. Vitally it has to do with toxins/poisons/sewage and clean water – purification. Capricorn/Saturn is one’s life work, community reputation, fathering/mentoring, elderhood. Venus in Scorpio Outside the Stellium!

At the Full Moon Venus was sweet on Neptune. Now she has just been loving on Chiron. From the DreamMaker to the the Shaman. She brings Neptune’s spiritual impressions that Chiron may apply the latest ones to his healing work. It’s a smooth transference because they are both in Pisces. Chiron can be good in partnerships and business. Venus in Scorpio introduces valuable connections both for love and money! She sees what will bring the most rewards, has added her touch of beauty and class, charisma, and lots of love. Makes a difference.

Venus will inconjunct, obliquely connect with, Uranus in Aries. They are so very different. Venus wants a personal connection; Uranus in Aries is looking far ahead, single handedly at times, rarely even wants a personal connection. She may catch a glimpse of what he sees, but she will likely remain on her track. Scorpio has power from within. Uranus has power from humanity. She could do fundraising for his amazing cause. His tribe could become her tribe, but the connection with him personally isn’t likely no matter how fascinating he is, and few catch her eye. But with or without him, she will find herself wondering about the road less traveled. She’s no wimp and Scorpio, though can be the deepest of partners, also likes being perfectly alone. Don’t be surprised if you find her at an unexpected place happily all by herself. On her new motorcycle.

Stretch your Spirit in every direction. Laugh with the Capricorn Wizard! S/he’ll take you there!

Full Frost Moon!

Nov 22 the Sun leaps into Sagittarius at 1:02 AM Pacific, on ThanksGiving Day! The stage has been set. The Full Frost Moon is that evening at 9:39 PM Pacific, 0 Gemini/Sagittarius 52! It’s on Nov 23 at 12:39 AM EASTERN time!

Mercury Retrograde. T Square, Kite, Cardinal Grand Square ~ all linked!

Sagittarius 2018 Full Travelers Moon
This one is called the Beaver or Frost Moon, but this year we might as well call it the Travelers’ Moon! It’s on ThanksGiving Day and whether you are going home to be with family or taking advantage of the holiday to take a trip, many are going to be on the road or in that plane!

AND, this is the first lunar event, and I do mean first, it and Jupiter are at zero degrees, with Jupiter now in his own sign Sagittarius – the planet and sign of travelers! Apropos it is since the Full Moon spans Gemini (Moon) to Sun sign Sagittarius conjunct Jupiter, on the first day of 2018 Sagittarius!!! Arms open wide, Moon and Sun cross the dimensions. Gemini is fascinated by every single encounter with any possible living or inanimate thing at its fingertips! Sagittarius would walk 100 miles to see what is over that next hill and who might be there! Gemini thinks 100 miles a minute while Sagittarius is contemplating what it all means and is making plans to go another 100, knowing there is more!

Mars sits at a T point to the Moon, Sun and Jupiter! His temperament is very different than theirs. They are chatty and heady compared with him in Pisces. He is a leader, but in Pisces can take complete silence. He can lead from behind or within, yet get him on a pulpit and the fire comes out! He can surprisingly lead the fray, an inspired compassionate leader in behalf of those who suffer. He is sensitive to what needs doing now to save the most later. His sensitivity avoids mistakes, gets right to the heart of things.

Sun and Jupiter are backed by a Grand Trine/Kite that finished Nov 19. Sun was in Scorpio then, received advice from Chiron in Pisces and the Moon’s North Node in Moon’s sign Cancer. Chiron gave tips on healing the Soul, the helpless and hopeless, other leaders involved with planetary healing. The Cancer North Node impressed Sun with the organic need for food and shelter, cleanliness and emotional support. Sun now in Sagittarius wants people to know, and put programs in place to get people on their feet, to be able to be contributing citizens.

Moon sits sextile midpoint between Chiron and Moon’s own North Node. And, she is one point of that T Square! She links them. First, as sextile Chiron and the Node, she too got the information Sun and Jupiter did! Where Sun & Jupiter in Sag are promoters, the Moon rules our shelter, women, children, the public at large. She knows the feelings of the times. She’s like a weather barometer that helps us make our moves at the times best for their reception. Sextiles of water and earth, she was in Taurus then, blend understanding and application. Taurus wants it to be anchored and long serving. Now in Gemini she’s spreading the word, getting thinking going. Next thing you know you are on the volunteer list!

There is a Cardinal Grand Square too! Cardinal signs get things going! Uranus is the Chief in Aries, leader, first responder! He thinks in terms of from the loner to all humanity! Getting one pivotal key person started can become an avalanche of success, worldwide achievement! Venus, in her own sign Libra, is sweeting her way along mending rifts, introducing strangers of great differences, blessing the day with beauty. She explains legalities and has teeth when she needs them. Don’t underestimate her. The Moon’s Nodes are the second axis – Capricorn south, Cancer North. We have been no nonsense business people before, building solidly a day at a time, supervising the troops, buying time, doing research and testing. Now we are adding in Cancerian caring, nurturing with quality food and comforting, offering personal support in community matters, the Sacred Feminine. Children are our treasures of the future.

Uranus sits midpoint semisextile between Chiron and Moon! He links all three configurations, The Mars T Square, the Grand Trine and the Grand Cardinal Square. These are all action oriented combinations.

Venus is no longer retrograde, but Mercury is now since Nov 16. See more about Venus/Mercury Retrograde! It’s especially significant to this Full Moon since Mercury is Gemini’s planet! Communications are essential to spreading the good word. When Mercury/Gemini exchanges across the table to Sagittarius, he knows the information will go far and wide for free! Sagittarius loves telling stories, educating, sharing perspectives, opening minds to a vast array of information. Travel blogs to tomes. The retrograde function keeps reviewing, stirring the pot, incorporating insights that have come along.

Mercury squares Neptune. Mercury is pretty clear in Sagittarius, has his opinions. He has his usual ‘chatter’ but in Sag he’s looking for meaning too. He’s more likely to pick a direction. Or, he’s scattered more than ever with all those Sag possibilities in mind. Retrograde makes for a lot of quick mind changing. Neptune too can go either way. Good luck!

Saturn is making his own notes in his own sign Capricorn. He’s tallying, watching for what works, how much time it will take, materials needed. To him it seems like a zoo for the moment. He is wisely waiting for the dust to settle a bit.

This Full Moon is equipped to help see the many facets that need to be harmonized. The ‘shifting sands’ of these mutable signs, Gemini and Sagittarius can be like quicksand swallowing you up, or a mixing bowl bringing each thing that needs work to the surface so it can be dealt with. Mutable signs are known to be in motion, adaptable – sometimes accommodating, other times taking you with them!

In the long term, these events will be leading up to the Nov 16, 2019 Transit of Mercury and Nov 19, 2019 Jupiter conjunct the Galactic Center!

Astronomical note! Our Full Moon is occuring at the same time as what is called the Pleiadian Alignment that started Nov 15, finishing Nov 23, the day after ThanksGiving! Earth, Moon 0 Gemini, Sun and the Pleiades 0 Gemini are precisely in a row! They were known as the Weeping Sisters, in old horary astrology, something to weep about. Lord knows we in California have had just that with the deadly Camp Fire and the sad losses with the Woolsey Fire. Some organic astrologers equate the weeping with rain. We are hoping for a steady light rain that our scorched land can absorb. The Pleiades are also called the Seven Sacred Sisters, with various mythologies about them, feminine, intuitive. Please allow a special channel to flow between us all. Blessed be.

Also, take some special time this Full Moon day to consider what to do and make plans to do it. Review the 2019 Annual Special Edition. Jot notes in your calendar. Don’t worry if it isn’t perfect. Start as you can. Expect intelligent modifications to occur, a few natural mistakes. Mercury is retrograde, changing things on purpose, and it shouldn’t all go as planned, but, in time, even better! Evolution is the constant of change!

New Moon!

Thursday December 6 Mercury DIRECT 1:22 PM Pacific then the New Moon at 11:20 PM Pacific, 15 Sagittarius 07. It’s on December 7 in all the other US Time zones east of Pacific.

Mercury Direct! Jupiter in own sign & New Moon in Sagittarius! Grand Square, Grand Trine, Mars/Neptune, 15°!

New Moon Sagittarius 2018 Milky Way Yellowstone

Photographer Dave Lane says a storm just passed before he captured this beautiful sight at Yellowstone National Park in 2015. He spent 4 months color-correcting the night time images to match them to the natural colors seen in the daytime at Yellowstone National Park. See the image large! See Dave’s photography tips!

This is the first New Moon during Jupiter in Sagittarius and the New Moon is IN Sagittarius! Hallelujah! It’s a double Sag chart plus Jupiter is in his own sign Sagittarius! Every New Moon is a precious restart from sign to sign. This is a 12 year restart for Jupiter! Each New Moon is a purity of that sign’s energy incubated by and integrated in the very latest transits of the times. Each New Moon is the wellspring of sign it is in, a fresh charge, and a pure source of that energy. And it’s the perfect support  for Jupiter! In his sign Sagittarius, Sun shines for him and Moon can feel the Sag messages so important to share! Make notes! Schedule to review and update them from time to time!

Mercury is no longer retrograde! Mercury Rx returns to Scorpio Dec 1 and Venus enters Scorpio Dec 2 at 9:02 AM Pacific. Mercury entered an intense Station (appearing to standstill) for 8 days in the last degrees of Scorpio! The Scorpio messages will be steeped, condensed, focused on, anchored in place. Decide what you want to keep as core guidance, let the rest go. Your foundation is set, move on with Venus’s blessing. Mercury turns direct, forward, Dec 6, the heart of the station, on the Sagittarius NEW MOON! The turn, very slow at first, has been made. After the next four days the findings will start being released, momentum will be gained. Mercury returns to Sagittarius Dec 12. He will be downloading the information to Jupiter Dec 12, leaving nothing out, until he conjuncts Jupiter Winter Solstice, Yule, Dec 21! Venus will be left behind on her own, still in Scorpio. See more: Venus/Mercury Retrograde Back to Back!

This chart is rather simple – you can see in the chart there are few aspects made – the color connector lines. What is exciting is that the point of the red triangle and the big blue triangle are linked!

There is the red, triangle that actually represents a Grand Square of Uranus, Venus and the Moon’s Nodes! It is quite odd in its combination. Uranus is in fire sign Aries retrograde. It will be squared by the Moon’s North Node in it’s own sign Cancer, also retrograde. Since the node moves faster, it will make the square while both of them are retrograde. Uranus in fiery Aries couldn’t be more his own man, complete loner to a leader of humanitarian efforts. Either way he is consumed, others have to come to him. Moon’s North Node in its own water sign Cancer is more likely to stay home unless it is a matter of taking care of the children. Venus is also in a water sign, Scorpio, still close but leaving them both behind. Water signs are usually trine, a harmonious aspect, but here they are square, somewhat at odds yet in compatible signs. It’s a similar setup for Venus ‘opposite’ Uranus. Oppositions are usually in opposite signs, which oddly have some compatibility. In this case they would be Aries/Libra – fire/air or Taurus/Scorpio – earth/water. But these are not. They are Fire/Water. Could be steamy, but Venus, of Libra has had enough of that upstart Aries, no finesse she thinks. Or she is impressed, and takes up his cause. In charismatic Scorpio she is looking for love and money, or wants to be around involvement with deep healing skills and centers for homeless, hospice, addictions. She’s blessed and not afraid of the dark side or being behind the scenes. Oh, the juicy secrets! She is not just a pretty face; she will do more than expected and more than we will ever know. Give her the reigns, yet check on her from time to time for your own peace of mind.

There is the blue Grand Water Trine. The Moon’s North Node links the Grand Square with the Trine. Trines are considered a blessed configuration and the North Node too. North Node is our aspiration, balance with the South. In this trine, Mercury is exactly at the same degree and minute, giving deeper facts and wisdom from Scorpio, who has faced life and death. The North Node in Cancer wants to protect its own, so is quite grateful and now more able to secure resources and the safety of loved ones. Though the Node, always moving backwards through the signs, and Chiron are parting, Chiron in Pisces saw the weak points and showed the Node how to apply healing of spirit, as Scorpio showed the Node healing remedies. In turn, The node offered a nurturing place to stay, free of obsessions and addictions, instead a safe place with innocent babies and children that give us the reason to say clean and sober, to not stray from the organic reasons for being here together. Many times healers need to heal themselves. This trine is a great gift.

This trine helps calm the red lines. Uranus needs to be free, but how free? We are all a part of each other. We breathe the same air. Be free to be sweet. Pay more attention to the living beings around you doing the best they can. Be free to be able to receive love. Being touched by the Spirit of others makes a living difference. Venus in Scorpio can be enamored with her own seductive beauty that may be the source of her money. She may forget she too is a part of a web of dear humans that would love and admire her for more of what she is rather than what she has. They will love her when she is wrinkled and gray. She may be so wrapped up in giving healing she forgets herself. Open those pretty eyes, lift that chin, see and feel the love people have for you. Keep the balance.

The New Moon itself not in either pattern! In fact, it is virtually standing alone numerically. Both Moon and Sun recently squared Mars and Neptune, but, traveling faster, Moon and Sun are leaving them behind. What they will carry with them is the spice of Mars’s dreams while he has been close with Neptune. Mars has been inspired by Neptune’s amazing insights. Mars isn’t noted for being subtle, but he is in Neptune’s sign with Neptune. He is being steeped in Spirit. Aligned, he sees the vision too. Neptune is in Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac. Mars is the planet of Aries, the first sign of the zodiac! It’s alpha and omega, the beginning and the end! What one starts the other must end. What one dreams the other must begin! Both are planets of Initiation, one through perceptions and visions, the other through the action taken in their behalf! Leadership is often born of what we see that needs saving.

Mars makes the exact conjunction Dec 7 at 6:12 AM Pacific, so essentially, the daytime operative hours are the same day as the New Moon! Two beginnings at once! It is also true that Neptune and Pisces may obscure your vision and accuracy. You or what’s out there may seemingly be ‘invisible.’ Please be careful if you feel tired, distressed, or even super ‘high.’ You may not be as invincible as you imagine, and poor judgment may be your undoing. It’s ok to slow down. We are all on God’s time. Illusion and confusion, intentional deception, could take you on a wrong lead for a time. If necessary, admit your mistake, get help if necessary, and get back on track. Some of these experiences will strengthen you. You won’t fall prey again, and you will guide others away from these traps. The other side of that same coin is a breakthrough! Your perception may be so heightened you can see like never before! You are guided to do the perfect right thing at the right moment. Blessed be. If you are in water sports, you could be the impassioned winner, the hero of the day!

Special info for those of you with 14, 15, 16° factors in your charts! The Libra New Moon Oct 8 started a 7 month series of New Moons at 15° of their signs. Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces and Aries New Moons are each at the 15° midpoint of their signs. By midway, they ‘learn’ their sign and are tipping in favor of maturity and completion. All these Moons are resonant to each other! Each represents a turning point, a choice point on how to proceed further, a balance within their sign. Some of the signs will be in harmony aspects to the others, ie Libra and Sagittarius will make sextiles and trines to other air and fire signs. This one in Sagittarius will square the one in Pisces and trine the last one in Aries. Scorpio will make trines and sextiles with other earth and water signs. The master Capricorn Solar Eclipse Jan 5, 2019, however, the first 2019 lunar event, will be midpoint between Libra and Aries, the first and last signs in the series! A lot will hinge on his decisions and influence the remaining three, Aquarius, Pisces and Aries.

Saturn is still making his own notes in his own sign Capricorn. He’s tallying, watching for what works, how much time it will take, materials needed. To him it seems like a zoo for the moment. He is wisely waiting for the dust to settle a bit.

Pluto is still pondering, likely will be strongly for a couple more years, how he took the Light with him down under, below the Ecliptic Oct 30! He now, Kundalini and Phoenix style, is ‘raising’ Hell, LOL! What an awesome job. The mighty midterm elections brought more ethnicity, more women, and LBGTQ! It will be an ongoing responsibility to make many powerful yet delicate shifts to bring these new people into productive work in their new jobs, help them stand tall yet balanced, to facilitate and establish their new ideas into a working part of our fabric.

This New Moon is strengthening our purpose. It’s about making meaningful and realistic plans about things that matter to our future. It’s the walk of a lifetime.
