First Full Moon in March, Worm Moon!
5 Planets in Pisces – Trine Jupiter!

Thursday Mar 1 at 4:51 PM Pacific, 11 Virgo Pisces 23!

Pisces Mermaid Boat Lantern Full Moon

The Moon may be in Virgo, but the weight is with Pisces! There are 5 planets in Pisces to fuel the Magic that Virgo writes about!! Astonishing imagination and revelation!
  • Sun and Neptune, the Pisces planet, pair up at 11 & 13 degrees opposite the Moon! Sun and Neptune can live in a fantasy world that is sometimes more real than what we all think is the way the world is! It can be confused, addictions, living in Maya as some spiritualists call it – the illusion of money and matter versus heart and Soul. Or it can be profound meditation, psychic insight, God is your Guide. The Sun puts Light in the places we fear or have misunderstood. We hear sound that moves the Universe; we travel the mystic portals of time and beauty.Moon in Virgo keeps a clear mind, analyzes, tends us through difficult moments with her common sense. She makes our life more easy by removing messes and organizing what’s left in smooth order and easy access when we need it. Less goods is less work, less that nags at our subconscious. Virgo kindly documents as we go so we can track our progress. Super gods and goddesses! Thank you.Sun and Neptune are inconjunct the Moon’s North Node at 14 Leo. Sun is Leo’s planet, so there is a camaraderie. The Moon’s Nodes are always moving in the retrograde (backward) direction, so they are all also heading toward each other! Inconjuncts are magical in that they invite a side trip of some kind. They can be a bit wacky, off center! They can distract, even take us on a journey we are glad we didn’t miss, and sometimes we go off and never return.Sun and Neptune offer a spiritual course, creative art, images and music, oceanic, in depth fathomless living, never predictable! Leo offers the center stage crown of Light, big hearted Love, the colors of creation, being true to yourself! What a combination! Mix ’em up!
  • The Sun sextiled Saturn the 25th, and the Moon trined Saturn only hours before at 10:10 AM. Moon in Virgo, being an earth sign, and these ties with Saturn, Capricorn’s earth planet, have stabilized and prioritized the Pisces dream. It can be built, the core destination imprinted in renderings, and artful magic added! The 4th will be a key day when the Sun conjuncts Neptune, then Mercury conjuncts Venus, the contract made, the blessing secured, the mission on its way! Mercury goes into Aries the 5th, Venus the 6th, and it’s time for action!
  • Mercury and Venus pair up at 22 & 23 degrees with Chiron just beyond at 27. Mercury and Venus trine Jupiter. Mercury and Venus in Pisces notice the divine attributes and put them into words and images that can take our breath away. We ‘see’ with extraordinary insight and compassion is awakened. Their trine with Jupiter in Scorpio takes it to a deeper level. We walk in the secrets of our own or another’s underworld whether that be darkness or the power within. We see the important standing we all have within each other’s relationships.
  • Jupiter in turn trines Chiron though not exact until quite later in the year Nov 1! It is preparing a fertile outlook. Chiron in Pisces is particularly interested in the healing of chronic wounds of the Soul and Spirit. Those wounds can be so deep, from many lifetimes ago, indwelling, hard to name they are so invisibly a part of us. They seem like unfathomable addictions sometimes.Jupiter in Scorpio seeks the deepest darkest truths that hurt us so, have kept us buried. Jupiter can rename them and give us the perspective to understand, to safely release them. We are in good company and become ready to take the next steps, to travel on with our eyes uplifted.

THREE IN THE BACKGROUND! These will be with us through September, then two are finished and one remains until November.

1) Jupiter continues to sextile Pluto. It is the first aspect of 2018, set the tone for the year! They travel continuously from since before Jan 15 closely together, less than 3 degrees, for 3 months, to the retrograde aspect April 14. There are great hopes for prosperous careers and business, personal healing, preciously bonded relationships. Travel takes on deep meaning. The last sextile of the three is Sep 12. See more

Mars at 20 degrees Sagittarius is midpoint semi-sextile between them spurring them on! He takes Pluto’s powerful secrets and tells the story to Jupiter (in Pluto’s sign Scorpio), who lets it be known to the right parties so the good work may be fully funded. Through these links strong people are met, fulfilling partnerships made. Scorpio and Pluto want excellence of research about life and death. Make the project proposal.

2) Jupiter inconjunct Uranus is another in-the-background aspect. It won’t become exact until Nov 7, right after Jupiter trines Chiron Nov 1. Uranus retrogrades back into Aries Nov 6, as if to meet Jupiter exactly at this 29 degree location Nov 7, just before Jupiter jumps into its own sign Sagittarius Nov 8! Since Uranus is retrograde, they are both heading toward this aspect. It is virtually a glimpse as they both change signs! Uranus will remain in Aries, carrying the energy of this meeting until March 6, 2019. Jupiter will clearly immediately, have new things to do, but will be flavored by the encounter. Uranus in Aries is memorable! See more

  • The inconjunct occurs at 29 Scorpio/Aries. 29 is the last degree of a sign, considered the finality, the maturity, a critical passage point. The conclusion must be reached, there is sadness it is over, glad it is done, time to celebrate! If you miss it, the issue lingers in your consciousness, perhaps never able to be completed. On the other hand, perhaps it simply calls us to move on, take what we’ve got and check out further possibilities! Jupiter gets a boost from Uranus as it leaves Scorpio. Scorpio is called a fixed signs, more of a stabilizer. Uranus in Aries is no such thing! It is meant to create havoc and chaos, stir the pot to high momentum. Maybe this is just the charge Jupiter needs to thrust into his own sign, shake off the underworld shackles of Scorpio, loosen up and be ready for action. Scorpio is a powerful learning place of important things. Important to have impetus to teach them! Time to take the trip of a lifetime!
  • Uranus in Aries is not long on memory, but is quick on its feet! It will take the Jupiter in Scorpio values and immediately push the information forward! Uranus does have long vision for the planet and because of their extensive connections, will know perfectly where to place Jupiter’s pearls where they will do the most good. Mission accomplished!

3) Oct 30 Pluto conjunct the Ecliptic! Yes, that is months away, but Pluto is on a 248 year orbit, slow moving, so very in effect right now! Pluto rules extremes. The words Life & Death say it all. Bankrupt or Wealthy. Alone or solidly together. Sexual or never been kissed, ever. We’ve had huge political, economic, civil rights and environmental changes, with more to come.

Stay with working the solutions, steady in the Light.

St Patrick’s New Moon!

Four in Pisces at cross with the Galactic Center! Aries & Capricorn!

Saturday Mar 17 at 6:12 AM Pacific, 26 Pisces 53!

Pisces New Moon Milky Way Tasmania Bioluminescence

If there is no MoonLight, try bioluminescence under the Milky Way! Now that’s magic! South Arm Peninsula, Tasmania, Australia. May 18, 2015 by awesome photographer James Garlick

Mars is in his last hours of Sagittarius! The New Moon is 6:12 AM Pacific; Mars goes into Capricorn at 9:41 AM. From then until the Moon goes into Taurus March 19 at 6:07 PM Pacific, babies born will have their planets in only four signs – Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces and Aries! Their talents will be focused!

Our New Moon has 4 planets in Pisces! Neptune is in Pisces, his own sign! Sun and Moon are conjunct Chiron square the Galactic Center.

The Sun trined Jupiter the 13th and Moon trined Jupiter the night before at 11:11 PM Pacific. The Moon carries the Sun’s trine forward. Both have been charged by Jupiter with information to share, long distance visions in time and place to carry forward, finesse in the dreamtime. They in turn conjunct Chiron and transfuse him with their insights. It’s a time to heal the Spirit of subtle wounds, to learn and teach healing methods. Business will do better following delicate changes, and relationships will be more empathic.

Mars was at the Galactic Center March 10 and 11. Sun and Moon are right in the square to the Galactic Center at 26 Sagittarius and Chiron is just passed but is still quite close. Mars is the activator, quick to respond, a champion! The GC is a profound place of Light. It’s a channel we can query, or be directed by. It has a magnitude of enlightenment, carries great meaning, has a collective perspective. Sun and Moon will add their glory to what Mars is now carrying. Mars takes 2 years to circle, so it won’t be another 2 years before the next infusion. Chiron has already checked in during 2016, but is still in the same sign and still quite close. Squares are challenging. Perhaps there are times we resist or need to grow into the information itself. Likely. Finding good ways to speak of it can be difficult. The same breakthroughs we require others require too. When we find it challenging, that is often the time it’s most needed. Steady on.

Neptune in Pisces holds the anchor being in his own sign. He takes 168 years to complete his cycle, and he’s been in Pisces this time since 2012, now about half way through. He’s experienced. Sensitivity is building. These are times to ask questions, hear others. Neptune is master of the Dreamtime, loves fantasy, magicians, makes music and art, is the ruler of the ocean! Ships, harbors, waves, water sports, world imports and exports often travel the seas. Mists, veils, soften our vision. Spiritual, vision quests take us to far places.

Mercury and Venus were in Pisces with the Full Moon. In our New Moon they are in Aries! Mercury just semi-sextiled Neptune, Venus is about to! We need some words to bring Neptune’s dreams conscious. We need a scribe with a sweet way to make the words attractive and beautiful, valuable. Mercury and Venus in Aries are in the sign of the next step! They want to take point, give an exciting inspiring rendition! They want to get people started! Venus gives her blessing. Neptunians are often behind the scenes and need a champion! Mercury and Venus are pros at sales, marketing and advertising! Get that blog rolling! It’s news!

The Moon’s North Node is inconjunct Neptune and trine Mercury and Venus! In Leo, it is ready to profess what’s in its heart, let us know more of who he is! Neptune reveals another layer of our being, Mercury and Venus are perfectly placed to tell this story! Leo lights it up! It’s a subtle drama, that seemed to start from nothing, yet well put, touches many of our hearts.

There are three important background aspects going on! Please see above to see all about them! They will be with us through September, then two are finished and one remains until November.

So how is this for a St Patrick’s Saturday night party Moon?! You’re on! Pisces knows how to have fun, and Venus with Mercury, aaand Uranus, aren’t going to miss a moment! Venus in Aries loves a rip roaring good time! Mercury chats about everything with every person that arrives! If there wasn’t a party, they will start one and it may move from place to place! Uranus in Aries is wildly funny, crazy happy with all his good friends! In the US, Mars is already in Capricorn, the POLICE! So he either watches over you as your friend, or if you get too rowdy, oops, you may find yourself in the slammer. He would be the choice for the designated driver!

If you aren’t a partier, have your own kind of fun. Candles are good, music to soothe your Soul. Solitude is a blessing. And you can feel virtuous, smile. Either way, enjoy!

Roll with the tides. I’ll meet you at the shore…

Long Night Cold Full SuperMoon!
Jupiter trine Neptune, Full Moon T Square, 4 Planet Sagittarius Stellium!

Sunday Dec 3 at 7:47 AM Pacific, 11 Gemini/Sagittarius 40!

Sagittarius Long Night Cold Full Moon Goverla Ukraine

Moonrise over alpine peak Goverla – highest point of Ukraine! Unforgettable beauty worth the dangerous night-climbing in winter.

When the “Full Cold Moon” rises on Dec. 3, it will also be the first and last “Supermoon” of 2017! A Supermoon is a Full or New Moon at perigee (nearest approach to The Earth). This makes the moon appear up to 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than usual. If you are coastal, Surf’s UP!

This Full Moon is perfect to spread its wings illuminating the Jupiter trine Neptune of the day before! That trine is a blessed ‘dreams come true’ aspect that happens two more times during 2018, May 25 through Aug 19! This is the culmination of what has been the preview time for May-August. We have been setting our goals, finding the best ways to make it all happen! The Full Moon spans Gemini, the Word, to Sagittarius, the Pathfinder! Information and purpose. Jupiter is Sagittarius’s planet! AND, it all links by degrees! All four are at ELEVEN degrees!

Jupiter is in Scorpio, a heads up planet in a down deep sign! Scorpio has the deepest desires, founded from its roots in the Earth, in subterranean caverns with underground rivers! They are not afraid of danger, scuba divers in wild territory. Jupiter is like a periscope, making sure things topside are safe and clear for the undertaking. Jupiter rules longevity and Scorpio rules death. What a mix! But then, Scorpio is ruled by the Phoenix that rises from its own ashes! Jupiter carries that momentum forward. Wise attention to health, avoiding toxic behaviors, keeps us clean and in top shape!

Neptune in its own sign Pisces makes magic! Scorpios are survival experts and fast healing, great healers! In the world, Neptune is the Ocean and its shores. Out of this world it is like a ship far, far at sea. It has to do with the spiritual realm, that we become part of when we meditate. We can feel not just our Self, but that Self in others, universal being – we are one. We have insights to matters in our lives. When we are not sitting we may be sailing, or making extraordinary music, art, hypnotic dance. In business, Jupiter sees the amazing potential that Scorpio runs astutely financially. Far seeing Jupiter expands, the vision Neptune has and makes it a success!

The Moon in Gemini feeds our minds. It insightfully merges clusters of data. makes safe connections. Sun in Sagittarius is watching the progress and with its gift of perspective, plugs in the bits in perfect places that fuel the journey. Sun lights the way and takes them further than Moon ever realized could happen. This Full Moon is like opening the big book of life, full and wide, writing the chapters as it goes!

Venus leads the way of the four planets in Sagittarius, as Mercury has retrograded the day before, Dec 2 at the last degree of Sagittarius! Mercury is still in the 8 day station (turning point), focusing, concentrating, anchoring his ideas. This 18 day foursome, stellium, started Dec 1 and continues through Dec 19 when Saturn enters Capricorn! Mercury is going back to meet Saturn, makes the conjunction Dec 6. Since Mercury crossed this degree as he was going forward, it is a review for him. With Saturn he is making commitments, cementing certain agreements. Saturn charges him to report accurately, no embellishing. Mercury inspires Saturn to think more broadly, to encompass the entire territory, have a truly realistic plan for his future, likely bigger to build than previously expected, but worth the extra time and work.

Venus at 2 degrees stands alone. She is free to do a few escapes or escapades! She was just in Scorpio and has discovered some extra fun things to do! In Sagittarius, she can show the beauty of far lands and peoples. She can teach something unpalatable and people love it! She shows its intrinsic value and how to raise it to respect, to recognize a style that is delightfully different. That old stuff in the back of the garage takes on new meaning! Philosophical discussions are blessed. Everyone prospers!

It is true, Moon and Sun T Square Neptune! Squares can block energy, and can release energy as facing and dealing with the blocks  opens gateways. Sagittarius sees the Path ahead. Pisces can obscure the exact steps until it’s time, then miraculously the fog clears and we’re on! Delays or not knowing are not always ‘bad.’ Denial keeps us from making change. Know that you are safe, be in a safe place and you will be pleased with the steps you can take. They may be small at first as you test the waters. That’s perfect. You are you, do it your own way, but do note your personal progress. Moon in Gemini can overwhelm you with chatter, but then that blanket of input can be what was needed to make a difference. Maybe it acted as a droning, you ignore and relax, and all of a sudden a phrase catches your attention, and some things fall right into place! That information ahead keeps feeding the project as things develop!

It may be a long night cold Full Moon, but you have Sagittarius to keep you warm, and his planet Jupiter trine Neptune to keep you steady at the helm! May Lady Luck be with you now and always!

Galactic Center New Moon!
5 Planet Sagittarius Stellium! Stars Polaris & Betelgeuse!

Sunday December 17 at 10:30 PM Pacific, 26 Sagittarius 31!

Sagittarius Crescent Moon Kinuko Yamabe Craft

Kinuko Yamabe Craft is a Japanese-born American contemporary painter, illustrator and Fantasy artist. She is one of the most widely respected and well known fantasy artists in the United States today. See her art!

In the dark of the New Moon, expanded visions and wisdom anoint our Soul, especially this time!!! This one is conjunct the Galactic Center, the center of our Galaxy, 26 Sagittarius! The Galactic Center, GC, is a place of huge significance. It ties us with Souls or Beings beyond our wildest imaginings! We may dream or have insights, but more likely impressions that we don’t entirely understand yet feel are important, compelled by, point a direction. We are inclined to be more inclusive, to let go of the daily fraught, raise our sights higher. We see what surrounds us with greater comprehension.

Saturn conjuncts/conjuncted the GC 26th degree Nov 15 to 24, as it did 28, 29 years ago! Saturn in Sagittarius calls us to take charge of our future. Work it. Be present, accept the mission. Be respectful of all Paths. It started Feb 16 at 26 Sag 0, moved into 27 degrees and ‘stationed,’ stood still there – was direct/moving forward, then April 5 retrograded/turned back. It went back to 26/0 degrees May 25, right after the the second Saturn trine Uranus! That was three months that we were deeply infused. Now we see what needs doing, it’s time. Recent floods, fires and quakes have called for survival, generosity and recovery. I won’t say restoration, because it’s time to do better. We want to build a fresh future. Let go, move forward clean and clear.

Saturn is now at 29 degrees Sagittarius, completing his Sagittarius promises. This New Moon tunes us in exactly for one last boost before Saturn leaves Sag and enters his own sign Capricorn Dec 19, just before Winter Solstice! We mustn’t forget the long term goals and the recent successes they are built on. Brick by brick. We must keep the greater picture in mind, why we are fighting the good fight, forever expanding in a good way. Keep looking over that Rainbow!

Our 26 Sagittarius New Moon is opposite Polaris, the North Star, and Betelgeuse at 28 Gemini! Polaris is like a little Galactic Center of its own. It stands almost motionless in the sky, and all the stars of the Northern sky appear to rotate around it. It has been a ‘guiding light’ to sailors, caravans of old winding their way over the desert by night, and other navigators. The Chinese considered the Pole Star as “the great honorable Lord of the Heavens.” Elsbeth Ebertin said ‘The Pole Star serves as a guide and indicator. If it is conjunct with planets in the angles [ASC/MC], the native will have a good sense of discretion and is able to follow “his instinct”. He clearly recognizes his aims, and will pursue and achieve them.’

Betelgeuze, the main star of Orion, the great winter constellation of the north. According to the old master Ptolemy, Betelgeuze gives martial honor, preferment and wealth. It can indicate a superior athlete, being endowed with outstanding agility and speed of body. And, luck, success and everlasting fame are promised.

Being opposite the New Moon indicates a need to reach across the table and introduce yourself. There will be differences and integration through sharings. Offer your best.

Saturn and the Moon and Sun are part of a five planet Sagittarian stellium! They are all in a connected string starting with Mercury at 15 degrees. Venus is next at 21, then Moon/Sun 26 and Saturn at the final Sag degree 29!

15 degrees is at the mid of Sagittarius tipping the balance toward the completion side. However, Mercury is Retrograde, will go back two more degrees, to 13, to review unfinished ideas. So not quite there yet. Mercury conjuncted Venus the 15th, giving her his accum of ideas so far, for her to carry forward for him. Moon shared sweets with Venus at 10:34 AM Pacific, 12 hours earlier than the New Moon. Have breakfast with someone special that morning! She shared Mercury’s info with Moon. Moon in turn, shares with Father Sun who lights it all up! Mercury’s wee idea becomes important for all to see, so attend this sequence if your chart connects with these degrees. Quite hopeful! Mercury turns forward the 22nd but doesn’t catch up with Venus until Mar 4 at 26 Pisces, square the Galactic Center! They have then been through Sag, Cap, AQ and Pisces, getting a bit of perspective, but for the moment, Mar 4, things are stalled or need extra attention to push on through. Maybe something was left out. Go back to December 15th for the clue.

Venus figures prominently because she first squares Chiron, then trines Uranus in Aries!

The square with Chiron can be a temporary challenge with your love life, business or health. Eat well. Take time to talk things over. Pay attention to what needs doing. It may come and go quickly and show you a weak spot that needs strengthening. Do shore up that area so it doesn’t become a problem down the road.

Venus with Uranus may sweep you off your feet, so don’t forget to make notes about that Chiron item! Both are in fire signs, they have the spark! Fascination, inspiration, wisdom and crazy exhilaration! Since Uranus is retrograde, he is coming back to meet her! She so admires how quick he is on his feet, his dance moves are like blazing lightning! She is impressed by his instant intelligence and he ‘gets’ her! Her long vision is totally understood by him and he raises the ante! They make their exact aspect the afternoon and evening of Dec 20! It’s your Winter Solstice gift if it connects with your chart 24 Sagittarius/Aries! Fantastic and wicked great ideas! Could be a 3 day affair, but it will leave you breathless with memories!

Sagittarius wants to run with it, ride the horse into the wind, skate so fast your hair goes backward! Sag will go anywhere it can, chatting and consulting for the whole enchilada! Different cultures blend and everyone is thrilled to find such grand and gallant solutions! It’s so much fun checking out the possibilities. Your mind expands right in front of your eyes! Moon is no fool, in Sagittarius might surprise you with a charming funny story you can’t resist! Sun has a big heart, wants knowledge to bring people together, to achieve greater goals one couldn’t do alone. Moon is less shy, Sun feels sheltered by her loyalty and love. Under umbrellas in the courtyard, Moon opens the cafe featuring exotic cultural foods; Sun brings the customers!

Saturn at 29, the end of the sign, is mature, experienced. He looks at the strength in the structure. He reminds them to make timely changes – a cafe is only a metaphor for what you might actually do. You might write a story that centers around a family in a multicultural neighborhood and it gets published. Saturn looks reality right in the face and if you listen, he will tell you reasonably your chances for success. He will have sensible reasons for his appraisal. Some things could be adjusted, but if the whole idea is off, I would give it some serious thought and check out other possible options. Saturn can save you a ton of time. If he says go for it, ask him where the most work will be needed. Betcha he will be right!

The Jupiter trine Neptune ‘dreams come true’ aspect is over, but the ideas that came with it aren’t! You have the inspiration. Keep working your plan.

Mars stands unhindered, alone in Scorpio. Yes, Jupiter is there, but they are 9 degrees apart. Mars won’t catch up until Jan 6. For now he is on his own. Mars likes being on his own. Independent cuss, though in Scorpio he may be seeking a mate, a forever mate. Don’t be tricked, trapped, bought or sold, or seduced before your time. If you have good chart combinations, it could be the love of a lifetime. Mars wants to lead, fight for your rights, get you started on your own! In Scorpio he can show you the way to acquiring the funding you need, help you secure your financial footing. He may be inscrutable, or stand right in front of you until you see. You may grow to trust him with your life. But get a credit check and find out his relationship and business history. Common sense. If you feel doing that might threaten your relationship, ask yourself why.

As our last New Moon was in a Bowl Pattern, uncommon, so is this one! A Bowl pattern attracts and collects energy in the many ways its planets are in their signs, the circuits they make or don’t among themselves. The energy is contemplated, examined, sorted, healed, enhanced, energized, redistributed. It may be partially or all held for use by the recipient, or perhaps for safekeeping. When the time is right, all or part of it may be poured forth back into the Universe to hold a specific place in the Light Grid. It may be sent to be a receiver/transmitter. It may be called to in turn heal a weak spot in the valence. You can use this kind of energy sustenance to repair, as an upgrade replacement, or as a system connection of your own. A clean array can attract more amazing energy to mingle with and upgrade to further levels of understanding. No limits! That is especially true with the major magnetic sign of this bowl being Sagittarius! Hopeful, confident, abundant, leading the way!

Depending on time of day and where on earth this New Moon chart occurs, the ‘bowl’ may be over the top of the chart acting as a hood! Rather than collecting from above, it gathers rising energy forms from below or ones floating about with no particular destination. Some are keepers, some are transformed and put to a greater use, others yet are dropped to shift and circulate further until they return and are ready to fit the scenario of the ‘bowl.’ Or they just move on to where they do fit, or are forever wanderers. The keepers, the ones the bowl processes, then may be like a living shower of energy collected, potently merged, united in cause, dispersed into the mainstream to magnetize others.

So here we all stand, present and collected at the Galactic Center together! The Light of all the stars shines on us. Listen for all you are worth. Send in your two cents and be counted. We are one planet’s collective Spirit. There are things we don’t understand yet. Other things we truly know in our Souls.

Happy Birthdays, Pisceans!

Pisces Joanne Woodward YoungPisces Joanne Woodward Senior

2.27.1930 Pisces, Joanne Gignilliat Trimmier Woodward! Numerologist’s delight! LOOK at all those double letters and three letters twice in her last name! Doing the Three Faces of Eve was an easy feat for her! That and being a Pisces chameleon!

Pisces is a sweet lovely sign, though even when Pisceans smile there is a wee bit of a sad cast to their eyes. Their empathy is far more than for any one person; they see the sorrows of the world. But with Venus conjunct her Sun, Joanne was and is a standout beauty! From starlet to white haired senior, she has worn her age well. Capricorn rising didn’t give her and old look, but a wise look. Though considered an ‘old’ sign, they often soften and look younger than their age in elder times. Her Jupiter is in Gemini in good aspect with her Sun. Jupiter is a warm spirited teacher. Gemini scintillates, has instant perception, the gift of an array of voices, is forever young!

Jupiter in Gemini also has an uncanny intelligence to see the outcomes of several futures and picks the one that gives the best return. She sure did with Paul Newman! They were married 50 years, and you can believe they had sympatico charts! Both have Capricorn Ascendants. Her Moon and other factors are in his Sun sign Aquarius; his Moon is right with her Sun Pisces! What bonds. There are other great aspects as well, plus favorable declination combinations to back it all up!

Ever learning, in 1990, Woodward graduated from Sarah Lawrence College, along with her daughter Clea! Newman delivered the commencement address, during which he said he dreamed that a woman had asked, “How dare you accept this invitation to give the commencement address when you are merely hanging on to the coattails of the accomplishments of your wife?”

Philanthropy is a strong suit for savior Pisceans and humanitarian Aquarians. In 1988, Newman and Woodward established the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, a nonprofit residential summer camp, and year-round center named after the Wyoming mountain hideaway of the outlaws in Newman’s film, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The camp, located in Ashford, Connecticut, provides services to 20,000 children and their families coping with cancer, and other serious illnesses and conditions, free of charge.

Joanne has won Best Actress at the Academy Awards, at the Cannes Film Festival, and two Emmys as well! Quite a woman. Wishing her continued successes.

2016 Outer Planet Transit Aspects with Pisces!

Pluto is in mid Capricorn through 2017. Pluto is Scorpio’s planet and Capricorn, is a harmonious sextile sign, an earth and water mix. Pisces is a couple of signs beyond, as sensitive and flowing as Pluto in Cap is intense and sharp! That doesn’t mean Pisces doesn’t get things done. It is so intuitive it saves time, so Capricorn loves that guidance. When Pisces needs a leg up, Pluto senses the need for an overhaul, and Capricorn lends a hand step by step. They have all seen their share of difficulties and are powerful in their responses. Sometimes Pluto and Cap get lost in their moneys and reputation, but Pisces reminds them it has to mean something more or the Soul left behind gets dim. When they all team up, Spirit prevails.

Neptune is in its own sign, still in the first third of Pisces. It is a water Planet in the last water sign seeking a deeper side of life. The Sun’s annual course lends Light to subtle places, our vision is brightened. We stand a little taller, think of ourselves as a beacon in the storms, a master of the tides of Being. Neptune’s immersion makes us know we are all a part of each other. Neptune’s rise on a sea swell lifts us to see glimpses of the possibilities. As we rise and fall, we carry the understanding among us, as natural cycles unfold and at the same time, we are carried further and further into realms we never knew existed. We can be a tidal torrent or in silent suspension. When the Sea is calm, there is a peace beyond anything, anywhere, anytime. We are so still, we can feel ourselves, who and what we truly are.

Neptune brings a pure fusion of choate being. What you denied before becomes apparent. Old seams unravel as the tides of spirit rift the veils. The whole truth seeps in, then pours through us. We are washed clean, freed from residues of what even an old Soul thinks is true. Revelation becomes a verb, and we forevermore know now how to use this technique of evolution. The awakening of Aquarius becomes the seeing of Pisces. Some of this happens gradually over years of time, water over stone; other times it is the Miracle in a moment.

Uranus is just past the mid of Aries, moving into the final half of the degrees. Uranus is the planet of Aquarius and Pisces is the next sign. Aries is the sign after Pisces. Uranus makes the bold proposal. Pisces is not really surprised, but may miss a beat with the wild lightening approach! It absorbs and records the frequency, the vibration, noting its instinctual preliminary reaction. Some think of Pisces as a pushover wimp, but I would respect them. Though generally kindly, if they feel abused, back to the wall, you may find yourself at the bottom of a wave being pounded, or subtly undermined and you never find out where from…. Word to the wise. If your ideas are understood and appreciated, they will give you everything they have got to help save the world!

Chiron is also in Pisces, starting the last third of the sign. The Magi Society thinks Chiron is the #1 marriage factor and good in business. Pisceans are feeling the old mythological pains, of body or psyche. They are being called to learn how to heal, often in difficult seemingly hopeless situations. Teaching often entails the healer learning when to let go, move on to plant seeds in fertile ground. Business depends on whether it is Soul inspiring. Otherwise it is a drudgery to Spirit and escapism prevails. Sensitive Pisceans usually do better with partners who are in supportive and encouraging accord, in clean and gentle surroundings, rather than dark confrontive situations requiring constant recovery. Chiron can knock you down, pick you up, and bring a remarkable life!

Saturn is a third to half way through Sagittarius in 2016 as it retrogrades from 16 degrees back to 9 degrees. Factors in your chart from 9 to 16 degrees will be activated one after the other, the 2nd and 3rd times! Saturn is Capricorn’s planet, expecting seeable results on time. It can have a harsh manner, be cool and aloof. In Sagittarius it is more flexible, but still wants a good job done. Sagittarius squares Pisces, a challenge. Pisces can be elusive and illusive while Saturn wants conclusive. Pisces can see right through Saturn’s insecurities, why they need to be so in control. It may take awhile, but Saturn sees that the world doesn’t come to a halt when things, people, don’t go as planned. A little leeway opens doors! Sag likes traveling anywhere and Pisces doesn’t mind. If Pisces needs to get a grip, Saturn is the perfect character builder type to help. Sagittarius reminds them the purpose of the game and encourages them to stop whining and get going! LOL! This combo calls for Pisces to be most understanding in the beliefs department. Saturn in Sag likes to build churches for the true believers, do it by the good book. Pisces meditates and claims to have talked with God.

Jupiter in Virgo is opposite Pisces, and in a manner of speaking is a pseudo T Square, Jupiter representing Sagittarius. Sag is the sign at the midpoint between Virgo and Pisces. All are what we call Mutable signs – changeable, adaptable, moving. Virgo adjusts the schedule to financial standing, health needs. Jupiter seeks a greater range, changes direction when it discovers a more promising opportunity. Being opposite, Pisces may sense this is not for them and widens the gap. Jupiter and Virgo are way too picky, too busy for solitude loving Pisces and they can’t agree on the purpose of the venture anyway. Or, Pisces is drawn along by Virgo’s impeccable data and Jupiter’s generous intention. They may offer Pisces funding to help teach the disadvantaged, save lives with health programs. It may be time for Pisces to hire an assistant to manage events, chauffeur, write their scripts!

Jupiter in Libra (Sep 9) is a Fire and Air combination, SO social and Pisces is so not! But what is an artist, a musician, without their attorney or media manager?! It’s good to open our Spirits more to others around us. Balancing our inner world with the world as it is, scary, amazing, rich, is a maximum fulfillment. We feel more alive. We find ways to buffer our sensitivity while among our fellows. We are glad to offer our perceptions to help others through the nuances of their relationships. We see similarly to Libra in that we can put ourselves in another’s place, be more forgiving and understanding. Teaching is more eloquent, even poetic. Opinions, though often disparate, find ways to coexist as all learn from each other. Jupiter in Libra offers beautiful and inspiring invitations. We feel honored to be among the chosen.

Any of these factors may be activating other factors in your chart as well as your Sun. They may be difficult, may be rosy, maybe both! Check with your favorite astrologer for the whole picture!

Pisces ~

Magical Dimensions, Landscapes of Nether!

Pisces Ocean Fantasy Mermaid Unicorn Fairy Castle

To many Pisceans fantasy is an elemental part of life, all is blended, merged, connected. At the edge of the worlds, beyond within, moving to stillness. No molecule is left behind. We are swept in the tides of all being, shuffled and polished in the tides of life. We merge wholly with some for a time, wave as others pass by. Part of us is part of them, goes with them yet we are still here. Pisces is all and entirely nothing.

Being in love with a Pisces is a union well beyond words. Twin Flames, Soul Mates are terms we often hear. There is knowing with no thinking. Spirits are swirled like a teasing ice cream, the eddies in the tide pool. There are times when each IS the other. Other times there is a disconnect as one or the other wanders into another fascinating world. They may be gone a few moments, years, or simply never return, vanish. It is speculated the Soul takes them where they are needed most. Sometimes there is a need for solitude, to find one’s own center again, then they are back.

Pisceans may be mystifying, no discernable hard facts. They certainly aren’t bookkeepers like their opposite sign Virgo. Earthly organization is not their need, they are on Divine schedule. Definitions are in the moment and depend on who you are with. Time is irrelevant. Money isn’t a matter. Sexuality may be ambiguous.

If Venus is in Capricorn, perhaps there are more standard mores, gritty work accomplished, a platform built for the entertainment, future outcomes levied in. Musicians, composers of excellence.

If in Aquarius, and with Mercury there too, life and sexuality are likely to be different. And that’s putting it mildly. We don’t usually think of Pisces as rebellious, but in this case, watch your mismatched socks! Don’t be too surprised if they are spiritually radical – that can be dedicated to atheist! Either way, those beliefs are super important to them. Oh can they play and sing! Melodious or off key, bizarre to exceptional, they are enchanting. Bright colored birds of many iridescent colors.

If Venus and Mercury are in Pisces with their Sun, they will more truly please themselves, be the most unpredictable as they morph to whomever passes by and catches their fancy, experimenting with the nuances of life. Early in life they may be very vulnerable and naïve, and when older you can never fool them. They know before you do. This combo is most susceptible to sorrows and addictions. It’s important to keep company with people who love who you are, celebrate and encourage you. This magical mix loves the night and has phenomenal dreamtime!

If Venus and Mercury are in Aries, you might never guess them to be Pisces! Aries is blink-of-the-eye fast, first and furious! Of course, Pisces helps with that because their intuition responds before Aries senses the need to act! Double time quick! In Aries any meditation or sitting still, being dreamy and wondering, doesn’t last long! Aries wants to DO, be there, get things rolling, lead the troops! Pisces believes in the cause, Aries puts it into action. A walking, or better yet, running meditation suits.

If Venus is in Taurus, things are steady and true blue. There’s a slower pace, flowers and danger of wine and chocolates. Sweet voices, an elfin face, whimsical Spirits. They may have a garden by the sea, harvest the seaweed at the shoreline, sit at the foot of a tree, spend hours lost in contemplation of nature. Sometimes money matters more. Touch may calm them. Beauty pleases them.

And, of course there can be mixes of the above that give different flavors and talents. There are flavors with Pisces, and with any sign. Venus is up to 47 degrees from the Sun, within the same sign or up to two either side. Mercury only up to 28 degrees, in the same Sun sign or its neighboring sign. Go to Astro.com, Free Horoscopes, to find where your planets are. If you don’t know your birth time, use 12 PM, midday.

Doing business with a Pisces is not by the book. Imagination takes them and you on amazing rides. If it’s a serious gotta sign these papers, a deadline, keep sessions short and focused in an undistracting place. If they are bored, they simply change the channel and they escape! If it’s a brainstorming session you’re in luck! Open the doors and windows, cater the lunch, record, put your feet up on footstools, go to the beach! If it’s bookkeeping, report simply and get to the point. Human Resources are always a challenge. Pisceans forgive and understand, want to help, and be sure to give a good severance if we must let them go. You may have to do a takeover and offer to do it for them.

Pisceans do better with work that helps others – charities, saving animals and people, the planet. Many of them have been down themselves, and with their empathy at high volume, see the needs. They see the future as it could be if change isn’t made. Prevention is a key part. Some of them are down on their knees, one on one with children. Some are in great hardship at disaster sites doing recovery work. Others are in research labs tinkering with tiny things that mean a lot. Others are on stage blasting the message through story and poetic songs, both heartbreakers and inspiration that moves hearts of stone!

Health matters are sometimes obscure, hard to define. Other times, if obvious weight, drug or alcohol addictions, who needs a doctor?! It’s self evident. Feet, the part of the body that stands under, understanding, are Pisces’ domain. Swelling, allergies, sleep, dream disorders can be concerns. If you are a sensitive, you may be psychosomatically susceptible to other people’s illnesses. Since Pisceans have such acute hearing, are so sensitive to music and sounds, hearing and ear issues may happen at one time or another. Pisces is considered visionary, and that applies to your eyesight as well. It can be both psychologically or physically. We can be blinded, in denial. In astrology, people with important or many factors in the 12th (Pisces) House, Neptune with Moon, Sun, or at the Ascendant or Moon or Sun in the 12 House may have these issues as well. Get some good grounded help from reliable healers with a proven record of success.

Meditation, rest, music are helpful healers. Hydrotherapy, negative Ions by the sea, swimming, floating take you away. Doing service, volunteer work, the ‘Mission,’ takes your mind off things, and builds an aura of confidence as dream becomes reality.

Psychic Pisceans can be anybody’s twin. They know you, have many talents. Clairaudience is clear hearing. They can be clairvoyant, have clear vision as they view the sweep of life or location around you as events unfold. Their dreams are often predictive. Clear guidance is given in the ideas upon awaking. Levitation is not unheard of. Shapeshifting is common. It’s pretty funny when Pisceans are looking for a psychic. They have a hard time finding someone who sees more than they do themselves!

Neptune, the Pisces planet, will be IN Pisces until 2026, another 10 years! You might say, oh I have plenty of time, but it depends on what the degrees are in your personal chart. It will activate different factors as it goes along, or if your factors are in the first third of the degrees, it will be done with yours this year!

It is magical to have your planet in your sign! The romance of the ages dances before your very eyes! Neptune takes 168 years in its orbit, so it will be a long time before it is in Pisces again! Really take it in, be alive to it, ask for it to be in your dreams, in the mist of the surf you breath on the incoming tide! Feel the salt on your skin. Take a cruise to a sacred site. Open a seaside restaurant or sport business. Spend time at the beach, listen to the waves. Try windsailing, paddle boarding, or get a kayak. Walk under the starry heavens at night….

It’s an elemental embrace. And you are part of it.

Uranus Square Pluto, Royal Wedding Chart, William & Kate!

Uranus square Pluto is starting, now 5 degrees in orb.  That will keep things shaking!  Oops, maybe I shouldn’t say that.  Uranus in Aries is the rebellious young upstart compared to the wizened Pluto burrowing the depths of corporate Capricorn.  Yet Pluto is associated with journalism, follows the money, a trouble maker of a different ilk.  Power will be questioned.  Put them together and things that were thought to be impermeable may be disturbed at the deepest foundations, shaken to thunder!  Long standing old schools will have cracks in their armor, new conduits able to be begun.  Some will fall of their own finished weight, to be replaced for better benefit, or simply let go – no need to go further, job done.  Strange and wonderful new alliances will be tried and some will work and break through to whole new types of community models, building codes, laws.  Businesses once thought to be ridiculous will begin to prove themselves as the needs of the times and hidden technology comes to light to make them feasible.  Those who ride the snorty horse will fly!  Let those pawing hooves make fiery sparks!

Another take on Uranus into Aries, square Pluto.  This aspect is unique because it happens 7 times!  It will be exact for the first time June 23, 2012, finishing Mar 17, 2015, in effect for five years!

I wrote the above with no thought of the Royal Wedding, William & Kate, in mind.  Yet this is the most powerful aspect of the out most planets, longest in duration, in their wedding chart.  It will always be in their wedding chart, but the actual aspect in the sky will culminate Mar 17, 2015.  At that point it shall have made 7 exact connections at varying but close degrees.  If their marriage is surviving at that time, they will probably make it.  So much is being said about how their marriage is giving hope in hard economic times and following the years of sadnesses around Charles, Diana, and Camilla.  Perhaps this symbolizes breaking through old patterns of the monarchy, British financial reform.

Some are using the 11 AM start of the wedding for the wedding chart;  I am using the 11:20 AM pronouncement moment – the intent of the event before your peers.  If you really want to get technical about it, use the chart when the last person signed the papers for official records after the ceremony.  The 11 AM chart has Venus of love and beauty at the top of the chart, and the wedding did start on time, and was a lovely ceremony that went off without a hitch though William did have a hard time getting the ring on Kate’s finger (Saturn opposite Mercury).

Royal Wedding Chart, Prince William & Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge

The most unique feature of the wedding chart is that simplistically, the Moon is Void of Course in Pisces square the Galactic Center.  Void of Course, VOC, is the time period from when the Moon makes its last connection with any planet and the time it enters a new sign.  There are extreme opposing points of view of what this period brings.  The traditional view is nothing will come of it, it won’t come out as expected, somewhat unpredictable.  This is great if your question is ‘Will I go to jail?’!  Rarely would a VOC Moon be chosen for a wedding chart.  Since the Moon has directly to do with fertility and a royal heir is usually wanted, this would be doubly so in this case.  It is said, ‘…the moon relating to the mother, will give a mother who was ‘not there’ so to speak. she may not have been there physically, emotionally, or she may have been even neglectful.’  Will’s mother Diana, ‘not there,’ is an important facet of their lives together.  The other view is there is nothing to stop it, nothing to stand in its way.  Hilary Clinton’s Moon (women) is VOC in Pisces in her 10th house of career and authority!  First Lady.   There are exceptions to the VOC rule, and this chart has them.  The Moon is said to ‘perform’ in Pisces – Pisces lives to osmose!  When it changes signs it will conjunct Uranus at 2 degrees Aries – free to act! Mercury and Jupiter are in an angular house, the 10th – a place determined to accomplish.  Jupiter with Mars is lucky to act!  How to resist?!!!

Still, as compelling as those aspects are, organically, the Moon, back at 26 degrees, four to go to change Signs, I would give the VOC read precedence, attending to reading the Moon for herself.  Pisces does move, but it can be ever so cleverly quietly, miniscule motion, practically invisible.  The VOC Moon is like a pause.  Preceding matters have been concluded, we’re in the done-deal zone, with perhaps a sense that it was all fated.  This is like a thoughtful, perhaps resting, reset period, in internal adjustment readying for the next Sign, the Gateway.  It is a step in a process.  A chart with lots of upcoming Lunar aspects in a Sign has many unfolding options, a rich future if favorable, is busy.  In traditional successful wedding charts, the Moon is chosen to be in trine or sextile with the Sun, Mother and Father, the Lights in harmony for fertility, full of life!  This chart has no upcoming Lunar aspects, no classic Sun/Moon, male/female connection.

Pisces, the Moon’s Sign, is also an ending symbol, finishing symbol of maturity, being the last Sign of the Zodiac.  It too has to do with rest, contemplation, the unknown, unknowable, visioning.  To the negative side, it can be addictions, the victim/martyr, hidden agendas, fantasy versus reality.  For Kate going from commoner to Queen, it can be the dream come true, fairy tales.  Moon nurtures unconditionally; Pisces is the ultimate compassion.  It gives a dramatic counterpoint to the 5 planet Aries stellium (cluster – see below)!  Aries is noted for action, can be courageous first responders, but is not noted for ongoing care with deep sensitivity.  The Moon rules mothers, children, women in general, and Diana, the Goddess of the Hunt, in particular.  And Mother Diana was missing.  Pisces also rules being in Spirit form.  In the Abbey, closest to where William and Kate stood to take their vows, there were five chairs. Four of them were taken, by the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Camilla … and then there was an empty chair. Was that chair for Diana?

Some are saying this ‘lost’ Moon in ‘lost Pisces’ is symbolically a way of putting away Diana’s influence. Maybe so, but she was William’s mother. That concept doesn’t work for me. This Void of Course position is akin to an ‘escape’ planet, a planet that has no connections formed to it or by it. It is in a separate state, unhindered, but ineffective, sometimes a loose cannon since there is nothing to censor its choices, no outlets to siphon off energy. It’s behavior often seems inappropriate.  It’s one thing to ‘put away’ a matter, it’s quite another to not get any benefit from the Moon other than the Sign it is in.

Being on the brink of the Mayan calendar ending 2012, that event quite close to being at the Galactic Center, the Moon being a degree of square the Galactic Center seems significant!  Perhaps they will never take their kingdom or their kingdom, the monarchy system, will be ended, or it will be fraught with difficulties throughout their time.

Their Sun is in Taurus, a sign of fertility and stability, loyalty forever!  And there were earthy Pagan elements to the wedding.  Trees brought into the Abbey.  It was near Beltane – May Day celebration of fertility.  They had a hand wrapping – called handfasting in Pagan circles.  The archbishop who married them is a Druid!  And William’s full name is William Arthur Philip Louis, Arthur being the King of old mythical legends.

Leo Rising, the Ascendant, is a romantic Sign of Kings & Queens, great powers!  As Taurus, it is another fixed sign, cherishes its mate and takes a long time before it gives up.  It is generous, loves to teach, is thought to be selfish at times, is great fun to be around, has boundless energy!  Trine Venus, is kind, loves glorious beauty and color.  Their wedding was bright – William’s red uniform (Aries’ color).

FIVE planets in Aries!  Aries is not famous for finishing projects nor fertility, but is a splendid champion, passionate leader!  Both Leo and Aries are athletic.  The group of five starts with Uranus of community, international connections, freedom.  Then there is Venus, love of independence, heroes, celebrities, art by fire.  The MidHeaven in Aries decides to try new things in government, laws, status.  Mercury is next, with inspiring things to say, fresh insights.  Mars and Jupiter conclude together.  Mars here is in its own Sign, racy super action, with Jupiter is legendary!  Jupiter is what we think is righteous, good luck, horses and big dogs, expansion, future plans, travel, publishing, education!  Expect these two to broaden and brighten Britain!  Aries is less famous for stopping to make agreements, more famous for spontaneous action, sometimes fiery fights, but quickly over!  One way or another, this couple will make a lot of news!

With the Sun square the Ascendant, how you appear to others, they may not always look good.  Sun inconjunct Saturn, can be sad news at times.

Saturn at 12 Libra is at a midpoint opposition with Venus 10 Aries, MidHeaven 12 Aries and Mercury 14 Aries!  Sometimes duty will dominate, love and simply doing what you want to do will seem far, far away.  There may not always be time to talk, so many responsibilities.  And at times, it will just be good to be apart, a little room to navigate freely.

The Sun sextile Chiron of Marriage, and semi sextile Venus of love and affection, will soften and protect them, give a sweetness.

Sun trine Pluto is the number one US corporate wealth aspect!  If it works well in Britain too, their fortunes together are likely assured!  Saturn though square Pluto, and is going back, retrograde, to 10 degrees, never makes the exact square to Pluto at 7 degrees.  There will be financial scares, close calls, perhaps, but will never quite happen.  The issues of their country’s economics will always be of concern.

Spiritually speaking, whether by chance or chosen, a wedding chart is always perfect.  The couple has the ultimate final choice of date, time and place.  Whatever is the Soul’s agreement, agenda, the chart will show the way and be lived in all its intricacy.

If you didn’t see it and would like to, here is a link to watch the ceremony.  At the very beginning, note the lovely greenery in the abbey!
