Stelliums are magical living planetary systems! They ebb and flow as planets join and leave, might retrograde within the stellium! There may be a slower moving anchor planet(s) that is key throughout. It maintains the master message and shares it with each passing planet. Each of them in turn contribute their part, their latest unique wisdom and energy as they enter and leave in divine timing. All the planets merge with each other being of the same sign energy. The two last 2024 Stellium signs are Taurus and Gemini, have 3 Five Planets Stelliums! 

Taurus is grounded, but can charge if provoked! He will provide for you, defend you, hold you, strengthen you. Organic worth and simplicity are basic tenets. Being comfortable, kind and gracious, peaceful, taking time to think, are markers he is noted for. He loves the land and our earth, animals, living in harmony with habitat. Relationships can be long with mutual respect and kindly patience, valuing the differences, each has to offer. Generally he won’t be pushed around, so go in knowing negotiations might take a bit longer, but will be worth every minute. If successful, there will be long term steady returns and you will have a good friend. He can sit like the Buddha, or stand in a field, savoring the Universe while finding the best blessed answers.

The 25 day Taurus Stellium has four-five planets starting April 29 to May 23. It has TWO FIVE planet stelliums, one is 5 days, May 15-20! That second(!) in Taurus 5 planet stellium has a super FOUR planet conjunction of Venus in its own sign, with Uranus, Sun, and Jupiter, all in only 8 degrees! As Venus closes with Uranus on the 18th, they are in only 6 degrees!  

Taurus has two outer planet anchors, Uranus and Jupiter! Uranus is the collective consciousness of humanity. It is a genius with freedom in mind, creator and inventor! It enjoys being single, uninterrupted, living with its computer. Sometimes there are many friends, all so different and intriguing! Taurus is encountering a huge range of ideas and possible systems. He is sensible, so takes advantage of the amazing ideas at his fingertips. Uranus even offers the most amazing ways to do it! Uranus has been in Taurus since May 15, 2018, is now in its final time. It will end April 25, 2026, a total of 8 years. He has been electrifying every earthly molecule. Uranus’ consort was Gaia (Gaea), the earth, Taurus!  We have been witnessing many earth changes. Jupiter makes for plentiful crops in Taurus. Travel is by earth, autos, campers, pack trains, trains. It is more leisurely and appreciative, even meditational like the Buddha seeking Peace. Gemini loves every particle of anything that can carry the breath of life! Jupiter enjoys the world’s entire buffet of being! They love exploration, mind expansion, implosion, explosions of awareness! Gemini wants to know how it fits, while Jupiter wants to know what it means, its perspective in life’s principles! Gemini is generally neighborly, loves siblings and twins, is close at hand in the community. Jupiter has chain stores, loves imports/exports, travel biz. Gemini does ads/promos while Jupiter writes and publishes books, holds conferences around the world. Together they cover the bases! They can marry foreigners, speak several languages. Oddly, Jupiter can be quite opinionated, even prejudiced, but generally they both are quite broadminded. The 46 day Pisces Stellium sequence is Feb 22 until April 7! It prepares us for the April 8 TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE Stellium! The Eclipse precedes the April 20 mighty Jupiter conjunction with Uranus the Aquarian planet! The Pisces mini conjunction is STILL present for the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction plus through April 30! 

Feb 22 4 in Pisces: Mercury, Sun, Saturn together, Neptune in his own sign following. Feb 24 Full Moon.
Feb 28 Mercury, Sun, Saturn are all at 9°! Neptune then at 26 Pisces!
Moon enters March 8, FIVE in Pisces! Mercury leaves March 9, Moon out on 10th, New Moon before leaves, but is replaced by Venus March 11, making 4 again.
Sun leaves the 19th, Spring Equinox, replaced by Mars the 22nd, 4 again.
Venus leaves April 4 as Moon jumps in April 5, 4 again in Pisces, at which point we now also have 4 in ARIES, TWO four planet stelliums at once!
Early April 7 Moon leaves, back to 3 in Pisces.

The Aries stellium is anchored by slow moving outer planet Chiron. Astrologers are not in agreement as to which sign it is associated with, I prefer Virgo, but we all refer to him as the wounded, healer, teacher. His story has many versions. He was a centaur, a half human/horse injured accidentally by a poison arrow tip. It wouldn’t heal. He studied, and, as a more gentle centaur, became a renowned physician. He traded his life so Prometheus would be spared. He became the constellation Sagittarius, the Teacher. See Madeline Miller’s version and references to varying versions…

In ’95 and ’99 the Magi Society came forward with two books claiming, with many examples, that Chiron is the #1 marriage factor and a strong business factor! They have a special system that you astrologers can use too. That all gained a lot of attention and at one point their subsequent used books sold upwards past $100! Convinced, I now use Chiron in both the old mythological way and the Magi way.

April 9 Moon leaves early, but because Mercury is retrograde, he, Venus, Sun and Chiron remain a foursome.
April 19 Sun leaves Aries, leaving Venus, Mercury and Chiron in a potent 4° conjunction 19-20!

April 20 The day after the 4 planet Stellium ends, is the every 14 years JUPITER CONJUNCT URANUS at 21 Taurus! It happens only once! March 24/25 Libra-Aries Lunar Eclipse Full Worm Micro Moon!

I love this magical earthy colored Full Moon! Perfect to celebrate our spring Libra-Aries Worm Moon!

First Eclipse, a Lunar Eclipse, of 2024! Mama may be a Micro Moon, but she’s powerfully reaching out as the Bucket chart handle! In Libra she will make many new relationships and alliances for us! The Full Moon group following is again in a tight 108° 44′ pack from Pluto in Aquarius to Uranus in Taurus! Pluto will retrograde May 2. We still have 4 planets in Pisces and now 4 factors in Aries including Sun! Jupiter is in 5° range of his April 20 conjunction with Uranus!

Eclipse energy shoots right through us with Moon and Sun lined up with us on opposite sides of Earth! We get Moon’s Libra energy and Sun’s Aries rays, no matter if it is day or night. In North America it is dark and Moon is visible, but a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse takes place when the Moon moves through the faint, outer part of Earth’s shadow, the penumbra. This type of eclipse is not as dramatic as other types of lunar eclipses and is often mistaken for a regular Full Moon. My guess is that it being a Micro Moon that will be even more true. If you plan to watch it, check out your local timing!

Independence and equality in relationships will be important. Libra is beauty and considerations, fine dining, genteel. Aries isn’t likely to write or read poetry, prefers things he can do when his body is poetry in motion! Your date with him may be a meetup excursion of some sort. If you both are bike riders it could be going to a beautiful garden, a lovely outdoor meal! You might discuss laws and politics if your Libra is an attorney or politically minded. Aries want to fight for the underdog; Libra can be prosecutor or defender. Libra is more often working with others. Aries runs his own business. Libra may find him clients, while he cheers her on to be true to herself.

Moon and Bucket! Moon is usually thought of as the leader of a bucket chart, but sometimes the thrust of the group is in the Bucket planets. As a group they can clear the way for Moon! Or, who knows, maybe she is escaping, LOL! Her as the leader knows how to make connections, spread the news about what their work is. She can negotiate, make alliances and sales, get their needs met! If the Bucket planets lead, they can protect her so she can get her work done, provide her needs collectively, keep her up to date from several quarters! At times they and she may switch leads!

The planets in the Bucket are having their own relationships!

Not only is Sun in Aries, but so are three other factors, Moon’s North Node, Chiron and Mercury, all aspecting each other! And they are aspecting other chart factors as well!

• In this case, of course, Sun as the Full Moon star, is primary. Sun has his own Light, and as an Aries is a natural born leader by sign! He is most certainly the leader of the Bucket group. Opposite Moon, her in a more powerful position than usual, she may be striking out for her own independence, more equality! She is physically living that independence by being on her own. Sun has been her own teacher, and she knows how to do it. She has watched him!

• Chiron in Aries is Midpoint between Venus in Pisces and Uranus in Taurus, Venus’s first sign! He connects with them; they connect with each other though him! He synthesizes their ideas adding points of his own, sends it out to them.

  Venus in Pisces is semisextiling Chiron in Aries. She is softening his approaches, teaching him calming ways, how to be more affectionate and appreciative! She is so sweet and caring beyond words that he just has to listen. He knows she suffers from disappointments sometimes, so he tells her when he sees that to stand up anyway, to be good to herself. Sometime good people are just too kind too long. Health depends on your balance. Can’t save everyone all the time. Take a break, get yourself back on track.

  Chiron in Aries is in turn semisextile Uranus in Taurus our lead planet! Chiron is feeling quite frisky, has been consorting with the North Node, Venus and Mercury! He’s delighted with the electric character Uranus! They are both champions of change! Chiron carries the wizard’s staff, in Aries is quick and fiery; Uranus in Taurus rumbles under your feet, quakes! 2024 Aries Mercury Retrograde, Jupiter Conjunct Uranus!

April 7-9 Moon makes 5 planets in Aries, which includes the April 8 TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE! New Moon 11:21 AM Pacific! Retrograde CYCLE is March 18 from 15 to 27 Aries May 13.  RETROGRADE is April 1 to 25!

TAXES are due April 15, so you might want to get them done and sent so they are received as soon as possible before April 1! Best is to get them there on or before March 28 the 8 day before the RX station starts! Get a delivery receipt. If that just doesn’t happen maybe have a pro do them for you. If you do them yourself, do them verrry carefully!

The pondering proceeds past Mercury Direct the 25th, on through the 28th. Keeper ideas are selected and anchored in place for the long haul. Mercury in Aries will cover the ground in a short time. This station encompasses Earth Day 22nd, the Scorpio/Taurus Full PINK Moon the 23rd.

Mercury in Aries is super quick on its feet and with instant reactive perception, learns fast! Perfect in emergency situations. Aries is boundless with new ideas, is so happy when you follow his lead! Experimentation is 100% natural and boredom is too, so, Next! Be the first! Distraction goes with the territory. There can be warrior like overdoing exercise, a need to eat well but quickly – no eight course meals please. Kids in classrooms are bored with all mind emphasis, need challenging action! Aries rests once in a while. Be careful with your head and watch where you are going! Being a consultant, working with challenges, doing what you love may be a gift. A special Initiation may occur. If you love an Aries you have to keep up! Caution buying vehicles, especially hot racing vehicles, LOL! Look but buy after the direct station ends!

In retrogrades, expect to be frustrated and frazzled. Assertive, impulsive Aries wants to move ahead, and all of the energy is going backward. Watch what you say, when and how you say it and to whom. Things are not hard facts during retros. Leave plenty of room for mind changing, discoveries. Pay attention to what people say; you might be pleasantly surprised. Reset, refresh, reload frequently. Give it some time…

Mercury is somewhat kin with Aries. It is associated with the nervous system, the brain, the respiratory system, the thyroid, and the sense organs. No breath, no life. It’s that important. To speak is to breathe! Aries puts that breath to the test! Mercury isn’t exactly known for being physical like Aries, but mentally he can keep up even when he sleeps! But Aries sees Mercury’s great mind, and definitely helps him get  O₂ to his brain! Exercise, clean air and fresh thinking, yes! Mercury quickly gathers the data they need to get where they are going! Mercury also has the map, LOL!

It’s not a time to streamline or change your bookkeeping system. Make notes and if you still want to do it after Mercury turns forward, do it then. Generally not a time to buy a new car or bike, exercise equipment.  Shop and wait is a good policy. Use your intuition about surgeries, but err to the side of caution, choose only expert veterans to do required work during the Rx. Read up on health options. Start a veggie garden! In general, welcome revisions that make things work more smoothly. Wait to do long term costly renovations. Hear out new ideas and get back to them later. Pay attention to technical information and don’t let it slide away bringing you to a delaying standstill. Distractions may be tempting, but time wasting and non productive. Stay focused, keep your priorities. Hard as it is, it will pay to wait.

Generally retros are not a marriage time. Unstable, and Aries is fast at mind changing. And Aries is often not a marrying sign. They love new love! Give a relationship with them plenty of time to test it. Say no to eloping no matter how glamorous and fun it sounds! If it’s good now, it will still be good later, and you can still elope, LOL! Give it that six month minimum trial time. This is even more true if either one of you IS an Aries!

Sometimes retrogrades can bring a lover back into your life. The general answer is no, no way. Temptation may temporarily give it another try. Usually it is a refresher about why you parted before. With Aries is less likely they will return to you or it will be very short duration, because they prefer new! If you are the Aries going back, if possible, hold yourself in check for the Rx. If you still want to after the Rx passes, then see what happens. Give it the usual SIX months minimum if you are considering a remarriage. If all goes well, Congrats!

Important Retrograde Direct Stations!

Mercury Stations are eight days, four days before and after direction changes. They hold position focusing, solidifying, grounding and anchoring thoughts that are keepers. Flaws are noticed, acknowledged, repaired or updated. They create a starting point, working out details that will keep us humming in time to come. In Aries this happens quickly mentally, one thought leading to another even if they are standing perfectly still! There can be tremendous focus almost like when the sun starts a fire through a crystal ball! Just by being there, they can burn their way through! It’s a time of emphasis. Getting pure and clean, white light! At times there is an innocent power that people listen to because it has a literal ring of truth. Keep up with your physical exercise so you don’t go crazy waiting for the results to happen!

The RETROGRADE station starts on March 29. It continues past Easter the 31st, Retros on April 1, continues through the 5th. The station is late in Aries at 27 Aries 13.

It ponders the possibilities, looking forward to exciting potentials! From that vantage point, the Rx proceeds, covering the same locations again but with more mature eyes. It’s a 180 direction change, so things are seen from a totally different perspective. Certain consequences become apparent, corrections are made, doors open to fresh beginnings. It may be a frustrating nuisance at times, for an Aries especially, but things get better. They don’t slow down just for a direction change. Even going back is ‘new!’  

The DIRECT Station starts April 21, Directs April 25, continues through the 28th.

Mercury rests at the turn forward point, pondering newer possibilities now that things are in better order! Ah, sweet release. We are back at the beginning, 15 Aries 58, where it all started, rarin’ to go again. It will be the best now! Faster, smooth action. Don’t fight it, fix it! Finish details to perfection, streamline ahead! It might seem you lost time, but in the long run, it saves time!

Special REPEATED ASPECTS!

Mercury covers 15 Aries 58 to 27 Aries 13, just a bit over 11 degrees. That’s a very short Retrograde span and only one repeated aspect occurs, Mercury conjunct Chiron in Aries! Though it’s a short span, it’s a 25 day Rx, just a little longer than the average 3 weeks.

Mercury conjuncted Chiron the first time March 20, will conjunct Chiron 2 more times! See the Retro Timeline for full context! Mercury is scanning the Chiron in Aries updates, spreading the word of the best ones! The sooner our health is improved, the sooner we have an improved quality of life, mental outlook. Chiron is part Medicine Man, modern practitioner! During his time in Aries, he is operating independently putting healing modalities together per each client’s particular needs. He is so happy for the news Mercury brings. New cures are such a blessing. Chiron has healed Mercury as they connected and Mercury finds himself more clear headed.

The three dates are March 20, April 15 Rx and May 6. Mercury is the communicator, ruler of Gemini, the Word, and Virgo, getting the job done, the organizer! Both have strong minds. Gemini is the chatter data gatherer from many sources and passes it along quickly to all the right places. Virgo uses a lot of information in research, helping with finances and health. It’s a monumental task, well organized, every detail noted.

Conjunct Chiron, a teacher and healer, there is a natural camaraderie offering information services, testing new remedies, giving instruction. Cleaning and anti pollution services may save lives whether it is pets or people. They may get people outside for exercise and general good cheer. They can help you learn how to do things, be more independent, get your body going again. Chiron in Aries may have a special gift with children, especially babies. Aries isn’t happy with being feeble, so this may be a good time to take care of some elder matters as well. Be good to yourself. Look for some new solutions to long standing, perhaps chronic issues or acute pain, whether physical or mental. Mercury is good in Aries to responsively talk you through things, not waste your time. Chiron instinctively has brilliant suggestions that will specifically work for YOU! With retrogrades, things aren’t usually instant. They take the time it takes to assimilate, adjust, get used to what’s new. And that’s ok. The relief is well worth doing it well and thoroughly.

ALL ABOUT RETROGRADES! Some of you are old hands. Others have never heard of Retrograde before. New lingo: Retrograde, Direct, Station and more…

Retrogrades are fascinatingly complex! The wild dynamics of retrograde cycles are, as viewed from Earth, it happens when a faster planet passes a slower planet. Mercury is faster than Earth, while Earth is slower than Mars. The planet appears to go forward, backward, then forward over the same ground three times, and if outer planets sometimes five times in two years! Of course that doesn’t happen in reality. It is visual because of the perspective from Earth. During that time, all the other planets are moving too, so even when a retrograde planet is going ‘backward’ over the same degrees, they are ALL going forward, even the retrograde planet! It’s ‘illogical,’ but that’s what happens.

Venus retrogrades about every 19 months for only about 40 days. Only 7–8% of the population has it in their natal chart. Mercury retrogrades 3 times a year, once every 6 years it’s 4 times that year. Mercury actually spends little time retrograde. Mars retrogrades every 25/26 months for 60-80 days. 

Retrogrades in the sky are passing periods. Retrogrades in a birth chart are life long, a living entity. As a place that is reprocessed over and over, fantastic skills are developed per planet and sign, along with the other chart factors that may be linked to it. Many top world businesses have multiple retrogrades in their charts! They have super expertise and it is still growing with the times! We hear about Mercury Retrograde the most because it retrogrades 3 to 4 times a year, 3 to 4 weeks a time.

Mercury is the planet of the Mind, thinking, our attention, our breath and lungs, how we learn to learn, communication skills, gathering data, paperwork, signing contracts, a hand shake, the laying on of hands. In the world at large it is also communications of all kinds, transportation and commerce. All of these are essential. 

Mercury has two signs! Air sign Gemini is Mercury’s first sign. Mercury is heady, there is little that isn’t interesting and little escapes its attention whether audio, visual, a shift in the air movement/a quick intake of breath, release of a sigh. Earthy Virgo is Mercury’s second sign that focuses on details, looks for perfection, expertly organizes and applies the data Gemini secures, is semi grounded! Both are known to be ultra busy! Gemini listens fast, often replies while you are still speaking, has questions! He uses his hands to speak with, is ambidextrous! Virgo writes the book, has multiple duties, organizes the finances and everything else, won’t go home, just has one more detail to finesse. She worries about her and your health. They are quite different, you see. 

Mercury Rx is don’t sign those papers about issues of the sign(s) Mercury is retrograde in! Or, do everything to make it possible so it doesn’t fall through. Escrows can fall through. Use experienced brokers who can get it done no matter what. People don’t return your calls. The dog ate it. Your computer has a snit. Or you do, LOL! You lose your cell. You get lost, turned around. Rule is be sure purchases are from reputable firms that have been around, have a good track record, have reliable returns, guarantees, warranties. Be sure the company is legitimate before you deal. Date and sign any contract changes and make sure they do too. Get/make copies, save and backup. Generally, you avoid making significant purchases/decisions especially of matters specific to the sign/s involved. If possible, don’t move or change or start jobs until you wait 4 days after Mercury turns Direct/forward.

The house/s where Mercury falls in your chart while it is retrograde is the area of your life that will be specially affected. Briefly: If it is in your 4th, it is home and family matters, your Mother. If in your 2nd or 8th, financial adjustments will be made. 6th can be work environment, skills, coworkers, your health regime. 5/7/8 houses can be important relationships. 3/9 is educational, class requirements may shift. 9 is long term plans, travels. 10 may be career, father, 11 career associations/associates, friendships. 12 may be your spiritual beliefs, perceptions. So for example, if in your 10th, be cautious about signing professional documents. If in your 4th, you may opt to wait to buy the new refrigerator – a better deal or fridge may come along. In the 1st or 3rd you might wait to purchase a new vehicle. In 2 or 7, wait for the face lift. If you need help with this, see your astrologer!

Inner planet – Mercury, Venus, Mars – retrogrades have three phase cycles. Sometimes the slow moving outer planets have five and take 3 years! Sun and Moon have none. Astrologers use different names for the 3 phases. Basically they are:

1. Covering the initial ground, degrees that the retrograde will go back over when the planet ‘turns’ retrograde.
2. Retrograde covers the same degrees as Phase 1, only in the reverse direction, so your perspective takes a 180 shift while other planets continue on in their own patterns, many of them moving forward. While retrograde the planet checks on previous actions, improving on, updating choices made as it goes back.
3. The planet turns ‘forward,’ and goes over the same degrees a third time, adds finishing touches, makes experienced final adjustments before it moves on.

Stations bring special emphasis! A Station is when a planet literally appears to stand still in the sky at the retrograde and direct, forward turning points. Stations help us slow down. A Mercury station holds consciousness at a certain point for 8 days. They are a pause when we are able to be still to receive, focus, take time to think, steep in our thinking. We make things the best we can, anchor important ideas we want to keep. Flaws are noticed, acknowledged, repaired or updated. The longer the station the more its strength. Mercury sometimes likes to think things over, draw as much from a valuable experience as possible, or get to know a special person more deeply. More often, it is likely to go crazy waiting for more things to happen and wants to be the first to deliver the news! They may need to rest at the station because a lot has been changing. It can be a relief to take a breather from the rigors of speeding here and there so they don’t miss a morsel!

The RETROGRADE station ponders the possibilities, looking forward to exciting potentials! From that vantage point, the Rx proceeds, covering the same locations again but with more mature eyes. Planets at different speeds hold station different lengths of time. Mercury stations are about 8 days – four days before and four days after the turns. Prepare for retrogrades as best you can before the Retrograde Station starts! When Mercury turns forward, wait for the Direct Station to finish before turning yourself loose to go ahead.

Every Retrograde is unique by sign, aspects, and where it happens in your chart! As time goes on the planetary backdrop changes. Context shifts as Moon and other planets change signs or they retrograde. Retrogrades, like any other astro phenomena, evolve. Each planet has its own matters. The sign(s) it is in while in retrograde, are how those matters are applied, what matters are processed.

In retrogrades we may be at another stage or encounter an addition to something already going on in our personal chart. Also, the degrees of this retrograde have to be in connection with your personal chart or it will have little to no effect. There can be a turning away from things we are done with that we never thought we would change about, yet here it happens…old ideas are simply abandoned, spent and done.

Sometimes retrogrades cross Portals, where sign changes happen for us all and/or house changes happen for you! As planets go forward, retrograde, then recross forward, we learn how to make that particular crossing, one sign to the other. Gradually we see how those two signs are linked, work together, support each other. We see the contribution of each sign, how they each are part of the Zodiacal Great Circle. Be mindful of your own talent, offer it. Be mindful of what others have to offer, be grateful. You may not like the person, but we can’t do without their part of the divine tapestry, the Light they hold at that crossroad of life.

What a journey! When you are traveling, what amazing beauty lies around each new bend. Different directions, different views. Maybe what’s behind is out of sight, a memory; what’s ahead is a mystery! Inward turns, like retrograde, give us time to pause, hold steady, slow down, peruse our current standing. Outward bends like turning forward/Direct, extend our vision of potentials. Each turn, that Station, gives us time to think, recalibrate, prepare for the next stretch. It’s important that there are changes, reversals, old ideas that clogged things up are left behind, revelations have room to occur, new ideas are teased into action! Potential is remembered and we are rededicated.

Clearly life doesn’t stop during retrogrades, and not all people’s charts are connected to all retrogrades. If your chart is connected to any given one, you will need to do your best and what you can. You can’t explain this astrological stuff to all people, maybe not your boss or even a good friend. Astrology? You’re nuts! Ok, so there are times to find ways to stall or not connect, delay. You can estimate the possibilities of others not bringing certain papers to the meeting and bring them yourself, save the day! You can ask for a review of the current decisions 4 days or more after Mercury goes Direct/forward. If there are important must do meetings, Dr and Veterinarian appts, call in advance to verify that the date and right time are on their calendars AND yours! Verify that part you ordered IS ordered, being sent to the correct address, the expected arrival date! Know that it might be late. Keep track of keys, wallets/purses, phones.

Document your work and events daily, save ALL emails and backup safely off the premises. No giving your passwords or copies of keys to anyone. If all goes well, fine. If not, all the pertinent information you need is available.

If you have other favorable prevailing aspects, especially with outer planets, it is likely changes will ultimately be to your benefit. Do check with your astrologer for your good dates and times of day to make the best of it! And pray their chart isn’t affected by the retrograde, LOL!

With a transiting Retrograde, if you have factors in your chart at or very close to those degrees, especially at the station degrees, you will be activated. Check in with your astrologer if you have significant plans at those times. Plan ahead for what you want to get done, as much as possible, well before those times, and line up what you can do during those times!

Classically, marriages are not scheduled during retrogrades. They are simply unstable. Check with your astrologer. First be sure your basic compatibility is in especially good order. If that is good, be very careful with those wedding dates. Look ahead for timing that may be better for you. Be wise and wait. A marriage chart is like a birth chart; it is with you the rest of your marriage. 

Sometimes retrogrades, especially Venus RXs, can bring a lover back into your life. The general answer is no, no way. Temptation may temporarily give it another try, but usually it is a refresher about why you parted before. Aries is less likely to return or it will be very short duration, because they prefer new! Sagittarius just keeps traveling but may pass your location on their travels. Fun but doesn’t stay. Aquarius just likes freedom. When some signs close the door, it generally stays closed – Cancer and Scorpio. Other signs have various responses. 

If you are the one who wants to go back, if possible, hold yourself in check for the Rx. If you still want to after the Rx passes, then see what happens. Give it the usual SIX months minimum if you are considering a remarriage. If all goes well, Congrats!

Sun leaves the 19th, Spring Equinox, replaced by Mars the 22nd, 4 again.

The Aries stellium is anchored by slow moving outer planet Chiron. Astrologers are not in agreement as to which sign it is associated with, I prefer Virgo, but we all refer to him as the wounded, healer, teacher. His story has many versions. He was a centaur, a half human/horse injured accidentally by a poison arrow tip. It wouldn’t heal. He studied, and, as a more gentle centaur, became a renowned physician. He traded his life so Prometheus would be spared. He became the constellation Sagittarius, the Teacher. See Madeline Miller’s version and references to varying versions…

In ’95 and ’99 the Magi Society came forward with two books claiming, with many examples, that Chiron is the #1 marriage factor and a strong business factor! They have a special system that you astrologers can use too. That all gained a lot of attention and at one point their subsequent used books sold upwards past $100! Convinced, I now use Chiron in both the old mythological way and the Magi way.

Some say Aries starts the new year. If so, this year starts off quite potently with extraordinary healing in mind and happenings! Aries is a heady fire sign, a sign of Light. Pluto moves slowly, about 3° a year. It will make it to 2 AQ 06 then retrograde May 2, going back into Capricorn Sep 1 briefly staying at 29° until it returns to AQ Nov 19. The important aspect in that time is Jupiter Station Sextile Chiron! See more!

The four planets in Pisces stellium surely points a direction! It’s not just the excellent work you do, the Moon in Virgo, but what it means. Pisces is your Soul, Spirit, what keeps you going. You can be paid well but be owned by the money you make, unhappy, life’s jail. A job you love that pays less may keep you living long, healthy and happy! If everything is by the book, has no art, beauty, or caring for others, it may keep you in dull seclusion among many people, but no real friendships or connection. Being of service to others who need help, animals who can’t speak for themselves, may give you a sweet feeling as you all work together to make amends for what was lost. Spiritually making people accountable for their thinking and actions, makes them experience truths they never knew before. Seven planets are in the first 10 degrees. They are fresh, not time worn or weary from experience! They are still eager to learn, meet new people, curious! Yes, them make newbie blunders, but sometimes that is quite entertaining and leads to unexpected discoveries!

Last month was the Leo Full Moon Bucket chart. This one is in Virgo. The Bucket planets are close in only 108°! Base planet Pluto is back in Aquarius again, recharging stragglers, pushing the group along, intriguing them with an unexpected future! He has an intense charisma and they believe in his powers!

Lead planet Uranus, the planet of Aquarius, has camaraderie with Pluto in Aquarius! Being in Taurus, the opposite to planet Pluto’s sign Scorpio, there are across the board differences, but also expansive options for collaboration. AQ is air and temps. Taurus is the Earth and issues of water and soil pollution. AQ is the futurist while PL is destruction but also finds what needs mending and is darn good about resurrection, restoration, remediation. He contacts friends for funding and along with Jupiter in Taurus, they make the long term plans and call on world organizations to put it all into play. This leadership of Uranus, heaven, in Taurus Earth, is inspiring. He takes us all to higher levels. Personal planning becomes world planning! We are raising our sights!

The Virgo sphinx is formidable – head of a human, the body of a lion, and the wings of an eagle. No wonder they are accountants! Smart, they guard the company’s funds, keep everything running smoothly, knows where the bodies are buried, LOL! Better off not to mess with them!

As the Bucket chart handle, she is in an untouchable position away from the main group. She is free to do as she needs. She trines successful Jupiter in steadfast sensible Taurus, manages lands and territories. She is opposite Mercury in PISCES who brings her intuitive information as well as what he uncovers from listening around. He senses when things are cloaked and reports in detail.

Next Moon will be opposite Sun himself in PISCES. She always knows him better than he knows himself. He brightens her day, keeps the magic flowing. He reads her and she trusts his judgment. She in turn keeps him informed of financial turnings, watches over his health, keeps his system going like a well oiled machine! He is grateful. Listens deeply when she speaks.

Mars is next in the queue. Moon will inconjunct him. No matter how fast or airy he gets in Aquarius, she has him in her sights. She notices if things are askew in the valence. Which means she watches him a lot and can tell when he’s going to get out of sync with the ‘proscribed’ pattern. She impresses him since she knows him before he knows himself. He knows she wants to help, the best for all. She recognizes his fiery brilliance in AQ, his exceptional intelligence, responsiveness! He does her requests first and quickly. She appreciates his special touch, quick smile, and tip of his cap to her, Milady, with a little bow.

Moon is opposite Saturn in PISCES, Moon’s ‘opposite’ planet, Moon ruling Cancer, Saturn ruling Capricorn, opposite signs. Moon is generally softer and holds the children in her arms and helps the most vulnerable. In Virgo she is a bit more skeptical and will check your track record, has work to do. Saturn is the Captain, gives orders, often lives by the book, is demanding, tough and not always very flexible. But together these two will produce impeccable results and on time to boot! Virgo looks for quality, efficiency; Capricorn wants durability and sustainability at good prices.

This brings us back to Moon’s trine with lucky Jupiter. Virgo likes to write and Jupiter wants education and publishing. Documentaries may be in order. Demonstrations prove it works. Venus and Mars in Aquarius can bring booming sales for new and exciting electronics devices. Virgo shows the customers how clean it is to use and easy to learn, how much it can do! Great team! They may take some quick trips to gather information or do book sales/signings.

Mars and Venus in Aquarius are both square Jupiter so there may be big differences about how this is all done. They are excited and ahead of their times in AQ, while Jupiter in Taurus won’t be pushed ahead of HIS time! Foot down, heels in. There may be some questions about ethics regarding how the components affect the earth or habitats, the necessity for ‘right’ periods of trials. Mercury and Sun are Sextile Jupiter, so may have helpful ideas for adjustments that save the day. These ideas may be what lead us to super successes in time. Jot them down and review them to see how things are coming along. Make periodic adjustments and keep going better than before!

Heavenly bright jewel Aquarian Venus is leaving Mars. Aquarians are freedom lovers, so they may become friends, but no long term romance. She spiced up Mars; he was flattered by such a butterfly as she. Rarely is he impressed, but she was smart and unique. He wanted to impress her! He paid attention. She rarely finds anyone who can keep up with her. He did, but she still prefers her independence. She didn’t figure him for someone to settle down with but they sure had fun! They sure could work together on a cause! She’s a fantastic fundraiser and he is a terrific front man! He has attractive spirited energy; she has the kindness and beauty. Both are unique in their styles.

Probably the toughest aspect in this chart is Mercury and Sun in conjunction with Saturn. Saturn can be like a brick wall, a barrier that can’t be denied, hard to breech. It could be that little gets done as denial sets in. There could be depression, doubt, grief for losses, dreams ended, loss of self esteem, real or imagined guilt, simple fear of not succeeding and subsequent embarrassment. Sun in Pisces is an empath. It’s hard to watch what can be the downfall of ones who were once so strong, to see yourself fail your own dreams. Could lead to a long standing chronic standstill. The North Node and Chiron are conjunct at the same degree in Aries! The Moon’s Node is generally in retrograde, an 18.6 year cycle through the signs. Because it is going backward through the signs, and Chiron goes forward through the signs, they meet more frequently than you would expect. The next years are ’38/9, ’49, ’63, ’79, ’92, irregularly, a variance of 10 to 16 years.

The South Node is thought of as our past, for better or worse, usually something that was overdone to out of balance. The work at the North Node is to continue to use the skills of the past, which can be formidable. They are tempting to use because they are so second nature, but habitually chronically used without additional considerations has drawbacks and consequences at times. We have all met people who have a hard time changing. At the same time, while using past skills judiciously, we can integrate the skills of the signs of the North. They are completely opposite, forcing us to see across the table, a little more work, but promising a breath of fresh air.

Yes, we have seen huge earth events, some not seeming so lucky, but in the long term we will do better with these kinds of events as we plan ahead to use them rather than suffer destruction. They are nestled between outer planet guardians, Saturn and Neptune here in late mature, wise degrees of Pisces, his own sign! Stelliums bring exceptional talents! The chart has one challenging aspect.

Mars Aquarius separating square Uranus Taurus. This can be dynamite and danger, hot tempers, illicit sex or breaking away from old patterns, finally! Maybe that friend is better gone – no longer a healthy combo or one of you or both outgrows the connection. Mars in AQ is totally unpredictable, unique, so it  may be none of the above, some other thing entirely. Oddly, there may be a standoff. Aquarius is actually a fixed sign, has its opinions and won’t give an inch. Taurus too, but is likely to be more quiet about it, until he isn’t. If he loses his temper, just get out of the way. Mars isn’t noted for holding grudges and AQ is likely to think about things. So if you wanna keep your friend, excuse yourself before things get out of hand. Give a genuine promise you will be back, then be there when you said you would be.

In the world there may be a couple of quakes but no tsunami. If storms, possibly a lot of damage. If you feel hesitant to get on the plane, just don’t go. Shocking news, even shocking good news. Since so many of the aspects of this chart are already passed, could be some of these exciting things happen the day before, now the results need tending.

There is a possibility there will be an unexpected breakthrough to your favor! You tried and tried and at the last minute, it pops! But don’t count on it.

There are 6 sextiles and semisextiles; 5 of the 6 are separating. Separating means the combination has passed its exact point of connection. Therefore, the peak has been made, now it’s resolution is being processed, integrated per it’s conclusions. This is not a chart that by aspects favors new beginnings as we think of with New Moons. Contrarily, 0 and 1 degree factors and the sign Aries and Mars, its planet, do favor new beginnings. Aquarius favors changes and awakenings. Start new projects related to those two signs. Because most of the aspects have already come to peak, likely the projects are already started and it’s simply time to continue!

Most astrologers don’t give much power to a semisextile aspect. I have seen them work astoundingly in corporate charts. It depends on which planets are involved. Most commonly the combinations of Sun, Moon, Venus and Jupiter work the best.

New Moon is separating sextile Uranus. With 3 planets in Aquarius and Uranus the planet of Aquarius the lead planet, networking will be key. Pisces and Taurus can be super patient, gradually gathering the Souls that are in league with the purpose they propose. It will be important to keep the network clean, check references and financial history. It will matter that they have the spirit and passion to do the crucial work we need, whether personal or planetary. The support of friends will make a difference. Some will be flexible and keep us informed, while others will be dependable anchors that keep things steadily in progress even when there are setbacks.

New Moon is barely separating semisextile Mars. Mars is a leader, and free minded in Aquarius, comes across unique new solutions to try. He is creative and progressive, not afraid to discuss wild possibilities! Pisces Moon can lend good business applications. Sun is bright spirited and sees the heart of spirituality at work. The Divine is present! While the Pisces pair is in trance at the Aquarium, learning from the freedom of the fish, Mars can’t decide whether to run a few miles, bike through the foothills or hang glide over the ocean! Chiron is still close, offering fabulous innovative healing and business skills. He is not in a marrying mood, and neither is Mars in AQ. They enjoy just talking about anything that comes up. Random is good. Independence with no commitments. the North Node might have a little problem with that. He was at the Libra side of the nodes in past lives, relationships his very life. Now he is trying to balance that with being able to be on his own, think for himself. He may see the value Mars and Chiron relish, but they may be a little much for him still. Taurus Jupiter is separating sextile Saturn Pisces. Aries 2020 New Moon!

Tuesday March 24 New Moon at 2:28 AM, 4 Aries 12! 

Last of Six months 4 degree sequence, Saturn IN AQUARIUS square Uranus, Venus trine Jupiter Bundle Chart!

Our New Moon at 4 degrees Aries is the sixth of a SIX months sequence of New Moons all at 4 degrees! 2019 Oct, Nov, Dec and 2020 Jan, Feb, Mar New Moons are all at 4 degrees! The signs are Scorpio, Sag, Cap, AQ, Pisces and Aries. All these Moons are sequentially resonant to each other! If you have factors at 4 degrees or very close to that, let’s say up to 2 to 3 degrees, in your astrology chart, they will be activated over and over. Each Moon being in a different Sign, your chart will be activated from different angles each time, some more favorably than others. Assess your status, how well you have achieved your goals, what’s next! This last one is in the first sign of the zodiac! Time for putting your accomplishment into the mainstream!  

Saturn is newly in Aquarius for the first time since 29 years ago! This is the first lunar event in his new sign! It is a New Moon of the first sign of the Zodiac in an early degree along with 5 other early degree factors! This New Moon chart happens to be the 3rd of three New Moons in a row having those rare potent Bundle charts. It’s bunched together tightly in only 117 degrees, concentrated like a potent little seed! Blessed with sweet Venus trine lucky Jupiter defining its boundaries, these new beginnings will spring forth with legs! Venus is in Taurus the Bull, having superior strength to carry on, and Jupiter, the Horse, is in Capricorn, sign of clever sure footed goats to take us to the heights! 

The New Moon has just sextiled Saturn, encouraging, showing the way to make a good start! The Lights are with Saturn and so are many people looking for new ways to fix old problems. Saturn in Aquarius is square the Aquarian planet Uranus in Taurus. This combination may need to crack down first, to slow down things that have been out of control. There may be a lot of meetings before a working consensus is reached. Things may need to be dealt with one at a time. Hopefully, gradually a strong and informed coalition will be formed, or it may never quite gel, each distrusting the other. However, Saturn retrogrades May 10/11 at only 1° AQ 57, not making the exact square to Uranus until Feb 18. 2021! This is a prelude of things to come so we can prepare well to work it then. Nor will Saturn make connections with any other of the early degree factors. It won’t sextile Chiron until Feb 9, 2021, just nine days before the square to Uranus. Please see more about the square. The sextile will help with the challenges of the square. The sextile with Chiron in Aries, will give more courage to heal, expeditiously speed things up. It will trial new possibilities carefully!   

Moon and Sun though are sitting midpoint between Mercury and Uranus! Mercury is Direct, moving forward now, finishing up the very last of the Mercury retrograde cycle March 30! Last touches and tweaks are being finessed, new options are being integrated. Mercury is considered to be ‘exalted’ in AQ, Uranus’ sign. They can be intellectual, but with Sun joined with Moon in Aries, sign of the first Light, literally the new Dawn, they can see there is much to be done and are rarin’ to go, even Mercury in Pisces, not usually a go getter! Aries dashes forward and the spark of the day is ignited! Aries is crazy brave fearless and fine! If he can do it they can do it! Besides, Chiron is right there too! The Dr is in the house! If anything happens instant super care is on board! Uranus is ever excited when an awakening occurs, and Taurus farmers roll early! Who knows where they will end up today! It’s a free for all of ideas, each inspiring the next! Chiron is among friends and understanding sympatico thinkers! Time to start a school! Instinct and genius abounds, a few bullets are dodged! They arrive flushed, breathless, laughing with glee! They dared and they did it! Venus trine Jupiter caps their day with blessings and plans!

Jupiter is with Pluto just about exact! Will be April 4, coming right up! This New Moon supports and prepares the way for that exceptional conjunction! Jupiter makes things best, bigger or exaggerated, the worst. Pluto can be save your life, make money or take your life and all your money, bankruptcy. It can bond your relationship for a lifetime, or there you are over filing divorce papers against that cheater! Jupiter can be schooling, trips, publishing, truth and the consequences if you have been a liar no longer getting away with it. Pluto can be the scandal, fighting over inheritances, or fund the most amazing healing research and a center with exceptional care for victims. You see this aspect has a great range, extremes. And both can happen at once. Keep your life clean or Jupiter in Capricorn the law, Pluto the Police will be knocking on your door. If you have the means, do what you can to help survivors, heal the environment long term, provide significant education. Apply for help if you need it. Sometimes we just can’t do it all alone. One day you will be the one that’s doing the giving. Bless you and keep you. When you can, pay it forward.

Mars, our Aries planet, has been lighting up these two! Mars was with Jupiter Mar 20 and Pluto Mar 22/23! They haven’t forgotten its fiery effect! Some got up courage they haven’t shown for years. Principles or finances may be thwarted. Some of us will make fools of ourselves, and that’s ok. We tried. Try not to burn bridges unless your life is in danger. Some rules will be broken out of necessity. New rules may be inaugurated! Jupiter is usually quite outspoken and fearless, but that can be damped down in Capricorn, but when Mars swept by, he got more back into his naturally confident style! 

Mars with Pluto can be a throw down, drop of the hat fight! Could be money or love, an issue from long ago, anything, but holy wow, please be careful. Maybe sensible Jupiter in Capricorn will save the day and both of you from mortal injuries, becoming enemies with no forgiveness in sight. Later you may even laugh. You could be leery of each other for a while. Goes with the territory as you rebuild trust. If you are on the same page working on a project together it could be fast and furious, obsessive and amazing. Obsolete debris and techniques are unceremoniously tossed, which clears the way for a clean efficient finish! Congrats! Sex could be HOT and hypnotic, tantric! Or it could be the worst you ever had, even rape, with the very wrong person! Avoid doing something that has deep consequences. Keep your ethics, stay safe.

Here is another look at Mars with Jupiter and Pluto. They are in Capricorn still anchoring and building a solid foundation! They are the mountaineers of Spirit! Jupiter is Sagittarius’s planet, big hearted teacher and traveler. Jupiter has a great window to the Universe, broadens our senses, lights the possibilities along the way that flourish with potential! Expansion exceeds expectations! Ideas are gathered worldwide, coordinated in a timely fashion with excellent results! Pluto releases debris and toxins, for deeper connections, intimacy and healing to be possible. Pluto handles financial support to protect and promote the greater good. Mars just over them, has been adding spitfire energy, making quick fixes that work and make the outcome even better, even while everyone is holding their breath at the last minute! 
 
Neptune? He stands alone. Resting, watching the show. Venus phoned Mar 22. She in Taurus now has a melodious voice, so Neptune made music and she sang to the Angels of the Sea, the Mermaids. Venus blessed his Spirit, comforted his Soul, reassured him how important his place is to us. Compassion and empathy, being able to sense what is coming means a lot to our connections with others, the success of our lives, ability to give well. He is the Great Guardian of Spirituality. She heard and felt his dreams and will speak sweetly that others may share them too. 

Chiron in Aries & Uranus in Taurus continue humming along in their semisextile. They will be completing their 13 years long journey together in 2021. For now they are closely together in the background…a small but potent aspect. Uranus is becoming more Shamanic. A supermoon is a full moon or a new moon that nearly coincides with perigee—the closest that the Moon comes to the Earth in its elliptic orbit—resulting in a slightly larger-than-usual apparent size of the lunar disk as viewed from Earth. The technical name is a perigee syzygy (of the Earth–Moon–Sun system) or a full (or new) Moon around perigee.

Often when there are Bundle and Bowl charts, a 1/3 or 1/2 of a chart having all the planets in a group or on one side of the chart, when Moon (or another planet) strikes out on her own, being the fastest planet, she is what we call the ‘handle of the Bucket chart!‘ The rest of the planets are still clustered behind her. The Full Moon is a classic time, when she is 180 away from the rest. She is the Seeker. She scans for whatever concerns them. She receives information that she filters back to the main body of planets. She carries/sends their messages, information, from them to others as she connects by degrees at any given time. Others outside the chart are alerted to Moon and her entourage. Pretty cool that our second SuperMoon, in Libra, is such an excellent natural ambassador, and holds such an important position! It’s important she represent the group accurately with grace and charm as well.

This is the 4th of 5 Full Moons that are Bucket charts. Each chart’s Moon is the Handle planet, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, now Libra, finishing with Scorpio! We start and end with a Water sign. Very briefly, Cancer is home, family, women and children. Leo is Heart and Light, teacher. Virgo, the only Earth sign, is caretaker in every way possible, healer, spiritual midwife and organizer. Libra makes social connections, negotiates, collaborates and partners. Scorpio tends the finances, saves lives, shares deep intimacy. This is a special sequence about relationships, deep caring for each other from birthing to dying. 

In that planet cluster behind Mother Moon, Pluto with Jupiter are the base planets, Venus still leads. Pluto and Jupiter are wanting power and ethics, expansion, to learn as much as possible in the shortest time ever! There are deals to be made and Souls to be healed, and don’t forget, places to go!!! Venus in Gemini looks for kind words of grace, a brotherly connection. She has attractive valuable ideas! Saturn, now in Aquarius, is working hard for humanity! 

Pretty Moon in Libra, in her pink flower gown, sweeps through the atmosphere, leaving rose petals behind. She at the helm of the Bucket Chart seeks equilibrium with external forces, negotiates opportunities, collaborates with foreign entities. She brings brilliant people to the group for their perusal and if possible to expedite their work together. The group tells her their wishes and she is off on the next sweep to let people out there know what is happening! She is not shy and people are happy to meet her! She is attractive, so comes back quickly with more treasures. Sun in Aries is delighted at the speed they are going!

Moon and Sun are T Square Pluto/Jupiter in Capricorn! That’s not considered an easy square, but Moon has her social connections and partners in crime, LOL, and Sun in Aries has a glorious light of independence that is hard to stop! But then Capricorn is the elder, and can show them a thing or two. Life is not just social roses, there is work to be done. Aries can go zipping around, but maybe needs to be reminded why and that there are priorities and deadlines after all. If they all get on board and give up a little for a lot, there can be great accomplishment and satisfaction. Aries, the leader, inspires others to come along and help. Mama Moon parlays like a princess and they are happy they volunteered! She smiles; they cheer! Pluto and Jupiter are quite relieved. The whole IS greater than the sum of its parts!

April 4, the first Jupiter Conjunct Pluto happened, and they are and will be in close connection through their second conjunction June 29 and on through July 30! The third and final aspect is Nov 12, the aspect of the Nov 3 Presidential Election. You can see how crucial this aspect is. In Capricorn there is much long term work of necessity. Set your goals and stick with them, revising and updating as you go. Do what makes a difference. 

Those of you with chart factors 21 through 26 will be strongly activated. Earth and water signs, except Cancer, will find yourselves accomplishing more than you expected. Fire and Air signs will be somewhat challenged. Jupiter with Pluto in Capricorn can be a demanding combination. Big plans, needs, and little time to do it! Jupiter at times may run away. It’s just too much, yet there is the call back obligation, a promise made, and uncharacteristically, he comes back. His oversight keeps much needed perspective. His optimism on a dark day keeps everyone going. Plus he has never traveled so deeply as with Pluto and is curious just how far things will go. As an educator and publisher, he observes Pluto’s healing methods, from money to love, and brings back life saving information to share. Rebuilding, renovation, renewal, the Phoenix rises from its own ashes against long odds. 

Mercury has just sextiled Pluto and Jupiter! Mercury in Pisces is both logical and psychic, has sensitive awareness and makes sense of the unseen! Pluto has his secrets, but this Mercury scans the Spirit and sees the inner intent, beyond the blocks of pain, anger and fear, to the primordial intention of the pure Soul one is born with. Mercury in Pisces whispers back and reminds us how we can give, pay it forward. This all takes a fraction of a second, rather miraculous. Jupiter in Capricorn can have fears he isn’t quite the guy he pretends to be. Mercury sees there have been disappointments, and through feelings of inadequacy, some guilts at having run away. Mercury assures him he is gifted and human. Sure, there are injuries and mistakes by all of us, but learning is Jupiter’s forté! Stay in integrity and use the ‘grit’ part to succeed. Have happiness in every step you take.

This is a terrific business aspect! Mercury advertises, spreads the word of events, writes script, takes the tickets! New job opportunities in our changing world are made known. Important educational programs are posted. Real Estate offerings at lower prices are listed. Personally, important health information, like about Cov-19, is disseminated. Computer life will save money, no big halls or venues needed. Your presentation, blog, newsletter, announcements, backdrops and staging will be super important. 

Mercury has also recently joined with Neptune, the Pisces planet! You don’t get much more psychic than that if you are Mercury! Neptune is deep compassion, empathy, knows both suffering and ecstasy, union with God! There is addiction that takes us, we lose faith, yet there is resurrection that saves us. We steal from others yet we heal the Soul itself. Mercury is ‘the Word of God,’ always near the Sun, the Light. His job is to tell the story, share the discovery, the word of Light, be a sunbeam. Mercury in Pisces absorbs to the fullest, every micro flash to the encompassing entirety of all Being. Nothing superficial about that! He feels every word he says. Those words are the melody of the Soul.

Venus in Gemini starts her Retrograde CYCLE April 9 and doesn’t complete the entire cycle until July 28, so most of her process will be during the Jupiter conjunct Pluto in Capricorn. She will be finding grace in communications. Jupiter wants Truth while Pluto opts for privacy. There will be some challenging delicate moments. Venus loving kindness will make all the difference.

This is our first Full Moon with Saturn in Aquarius! He retrogrades back into Capricorn July 1, so this is a preview. The 2+ years in Capricorn were crucial. For now, Saturn’s work in Cap is at maturity and has prepared him for solidarity entering a sign that is not the easiest for him to be in. Aquarius is a bit shocking to conservative Saturn at first. He’s getting used to his new shoes and it’s gonna take a bit of time to get steady again. Saturn’s new work will be in behalf of humanity! That’s a BIG job. If anyone can do it, he can! List out the priorities, group related matters, get some leaders on board and get crackin’! Capricorn is expert at being the boss! 

Mars jumped into Aquarius with Saturn March 30, conjuncted the 31st! Mars said C’mon, Baby, and Saturn said Slow down! Mars might slow up a bit with Saturn right smack in his way, but it took only a moment to hurdle right on by! How to get past obstacles is an inborn rebellious Aries talent! Yet he did hear the words. Aries has enough experience and 6th sense to take heed. From time to time the Angels intervene and it saves his life! Saturn felt a little singed, but also a bit excited. He shakes the dust off, stands up a little taller, and by gosh, things are strange in this new crazy sign, but what the heck?! Lets get on with it!

Venus in Gemini has hailed Saturn from a trine away, and he is even happier! She liked his debonair demeanor, Silk and Suit! They agreed to lunch, she interviewed him, and the word is out that he has arrived. He has talent and connections; she has glamour and can skillfully turn a phrase. Blessings for both

The Moon’s North Node in Cancer is inconjunct Saturn in that alien sign Aquarius, of genius and invention. She hopes his new position in such a ‘great’ sign will not make him forget about his roots, the common people, women and children. She wonders how he will govern from his new domain, that he will not be overwhelmed by the expectations of so many. Perhaps she should volunteer and be present to remind him, so she can link with others who have similar needs as hers.   

At the same time, Saturn is square Uranus, the very planet whose sign he is now in! Woops! In some ways there is a kinship. Though different in styles, there is a common goal to help a lot of people. Uranus is in Taurus, a fast planet in a slow sign. Saturn is the planet of earth sign Capricorn, so he likes Taurus common sense, calmness. He might wish Taurus was a little faster, but tortoise and hare, Taurus is steady, dependable and no quitter. Taurus wants Earth things to happen, food, climate, shelter. Aquarius wants friendship, community work, planetary networking – computers and air travel, research and inventions. They can help each other. Aquarius needs on-the-ground human input to be pertinent to current common needs. Taurus needs the inventions that can make real change in a human usable form, not costly or take too long. Aquarius genius will be well used, pressed to perfection! Saturn puts them together, notes priorities and timeliness, checks in on them as they go along. Good job! Well done on all parts.  

Saturn also sextiles Chiron in Aries. As at the New Moon, the square and sextiles are close, Saturn retrogrades, the actual aspects aren’t exact until Feb 2021. They will get the ideas of their connections, but won’t come to definite events. Now through May is a trial period, preparatory. As said with the New Moon, the sextile will help with the challenges of the square. The sextile with Chiron in Aries, will give more courage to heal, expeditiously speed things up. It will trial new possibilities carefully! 

Mars in Aquarius also squares Uranus, Aquarius’s planet, at 11:58 AM Pacific just before the Full Moon at 7:35 PM! Please do be careful from March 30 to now, especially April 5, 6 and 7! Since linked by sign and planet, they could get in even more trouble even though Uranus is in calm Taurus. Mars is pretty wild in Aquarius! If they get momentum together, it could be curtains. There could be news about the virus, possibly a breakthrough, a successful vaccine. Uranus may need a little sparking up in Taurus and Mars reminds him what fun he used to have! Mars may need a resting place and the land, the farm, ranch, may be just the place to go. 

Again, carrying the Starlight is Fixed Star Castor of Castor & Pollux. Castor is at 20 Cancer 14. Moon and Sun are T Square at 18 Aries/Libra 43. Aries is Self; Cancer is family/women & children; Libra is relationships, marriage, partners. The commonality is exploring where you fit in the world with your fellows.

The mythology is Castor is one of the two rival brothers of the constellation (not sign) Gemini, Castor mortal, Pollux immortal. Robson says ‘Castor, the mortal one of the twins, is famous for his skill in taming and managing horses. Sometimes called Apollo [Sun god], and symbolically named A Ruler yet to Come. Has an interest in the occult. Dr Eric Morse: Castor is also noted in natal astrology for proneness to mental breakdowns and neurotic distress. People with this star prominent and well aspected are exceptionally gifted intellectually. Where these geniuses often need help is in not letting their concern for others go ‘over the top’. And modern researcher Elsbeth Ebertin…Linked with the Moon or Mercury, it has the effect of such people being blessed with a good nature and fine morals. It is also supposed to convey refined manners. See more by UK astrologer Deborah Houlding. She says it’s all about the ‘quest for divine immortality!’

Though the Full Moon is in challenge with Castor, Castor also seems quite fitting to this Full Moon chart. It is trine, in the best aspect possible, with Pisces and its planet Neptune. They are concerned with matters of the immortal Soul. Moon is obliquely, inconjunct, related with Neptune while Sun semi-sextiles Neptune. At moments they can be unsure what to do, yet that double checking moment may be just what it takes to fine tune the venture, to keep it truly on course. 

Chiron in Aries and Uranus in Taurus are at 6 and 5 degrees. Chiron is sizzling in fiery Aries in the same sign as the Sun with Mars, the Aries planet, happily sextile Chiron! HOT! Finally someone who understands him! Both are feeling speedy and rambunctious! Opportunities abound! Chiron is a good business person as well as a healer/teacher, terrific consultant! A promotional organization would suit them to a T! Supporting new students, think tanks, getting groups started! Avant-garde ideas, exotic explorations on land or in the lab, unique sports, research for new cures, looking for leaders! All would be exciting ventures!

Chiron is midpoint sextile Mars and Venus! Much as Chiron and Mar are exciting, Venus lends her beauty and bloom from Gemini! She not only leads the cluster of planets behind the Moon chart handle, but blows kisses back to Chiron and Mars! Venus trines Mars, making his hero’s journey into unknown territory with her ribbon on his sleeve. She sends him news, puts him in the papers, celebrates him on her blog day by day, cheers him to victory! His leadership excites so many others they start taking their own journeys! Valiant Mars brightens her day. Venus sextiles Chiron, who can be an old geezer, a dazzling young shaman, a handsome businessman or instructor, a precocious child ahead of her time. There are opportunities from many directions, fascinating varieties! She gives her appreciation, makes images of their stories. Her affection affirms their choices and being exactly who they are. They give thanks and blessings for her art, her kindness for including them.

That lucky Chiron may have suffered wounds, but in this round, between Mars and Venus, he is treated by spiritual first responder Mars and blessed by that Venus sweetie! He stands up taller, lets loose a smile, thanks his stars and continues his work with an extra liveliness in his heart. They in turn treasure his advice and spunky spirit!  

Chiron & Uranus continue humming along in their own semisextile. They will be completing their 13 years long journey together in 2021. For now they are closely together in the background…a small but potent aspect. Uranus is becoming more Shamanic. Here are the three Moons of Leo 2017, July 23, Aug 7, Aug 21! The second day of Leo brings the first of TWO New Moons! The second Moon is the Full Green Corn Moon Lunar Eclipse.

The second New Moon in Leo, on the next to last day of Leo, is being referred to by some as the Great American Eclipse because it is the first Total Solar Eclipse visible in the US since 1979, 38 years! It also qualifies as a Black Moon, the third New Moon in a season which has four New Moons.

The day after the New Moon, July 24, the Leo/Virgo Mercury Retrograde cycle starts – not the retrograde, the cycle! The retrograde starts August 12 in Pacific time. Expect that projects begun from July 24 through Aug 12, will not come out exactly as planned. The exciting US Total Solar Eclipse is during the Retrograde part of the cycle – check your reservations in advance – confirm, confirm, confirm – everything! Mercury turns Direct/forward, the day before the Sep 6 Full Corn Moon. Be ready to be flexible, make it better and better through the time of the whole 3 part cycle. It finishes, Sep 19, the day of the Virgo New Moon! Clearly, this Mercury Retrograde cycle is linked with the MOON!

First Leo New Moon!
1st Grand Fire Trine, Zero Degree, 4 Planets in Leo!

Sunday July 23, at 2:46 AM Pacific, 0 Leo 44!

The fiery first New Moon has a four planet stellium in Leo, Sun and Moon with Mars, and about to change signs, Mercury, plus the North Node is there too!

Sun and Moon blaze with Mars, winning Leos first place! At zero and one degrees they are in first place as well as with the planet of the first sign, Aries! There is an untarnished gleeful energy. Could be said to be naive and untrained, but the way they see it, there is nothing to stop them either! Without thinking, they waste no time double guessing themselves and succeed at things the more experienced wouldn’t do! With clean intuition, they are fresh and blessed!

The blue triangle, a Grand Trine in fire, is considered lucky! Mercury and Moon’s North Node have consulted with sober Saturn, and are already seeing the wild potentials of Uranus in Aries! Inventions and solutions both!

Mercury is just a tad over a degree inconjunct Chiron in Pisces. Attention swings to the undercurrent, healing needed, subtle teachings soon to seep to a conscious knowing. Old hurts are reframed in a personal creative expression that changes them from dark to light, generously giving life again where it was feared to have been lost. There is a standing up, straightening the spine, a true-to-the-heart radiance.

Venus is at 20 Gemini, has left aspects with Jupiter and Pluto behind. She is now opposite Father Time, Saturn, afraid she might not be able to speak her mind, be doubted if she did. She may hesitate, yet feels there is a duty to be true. This jewel has too much beauty to neglect. Saturn offers his hand to help her get to her feet and cross the Threshold. He surprisingly encourages her, she gets to the crux of her messages at a perfect time!

August 4 brings the major background aspect, Jupiter square Pluto. It has been within 5 degrees of its square since June 23. This first Leo New Moon prepares the way, gives personal insights on how you can best see the square through. The square precedes the Leo/Aquarius August 7 Full Green Corn Moon Lunar Eclipse. The square is a rift maker and mender. What no longer serves falls apart, opening the gateway for healing and moving through to higher ground. Sometimes it’s piddly annoyances, other times you pray for your love, money and life! It takes away and doesn’t always give back. You may find yourself clearing the decks, lightening the load. Such a relief that’s over. You have room for new ways now.

Things won’t be entirely done by Aug 7. The Eclipse will deepen our understanding. No more dead wood to carry. The challenges you faced, if it aspects your personal chart, show you that you can work that hard for recovery or building strong good things that will last. The new foundation is better placed. The aspects in the New and Full Moon charts are excellent. You can do it!

The August 7 Full Green Corn Moon Lunar Eclipse spans from the Sun in its own sign Leo, glory be, to the Moon in wild and far reaching Aquarius! This calls for a gathering of lazy beachlings to a floating-on-the-winds hot air balloon ride!

The fire signs again prevail in a Grand Trine, this time loosely connected, with Moon between Saturn and Uranus, and Jupiter between Sun and Saturn! Uranus is in Aries, a mighty spark! Mars, Sun and the Moon’s North Node are in Leo, giving from the Heart of Light! Saturn is in Sagittarius, guiding the learning with well timed encouragement.

Sun/Moon-Jupiter-Saturn Bow Pattern!

Bows are formed when two planets are equidistant sextiles to a planetary axis. Moon and Sun are our axis. Sun sextiles Jupiter and Moon sextiles Saturn! Said another way, Sun trines Saturn, Moon trines Jupiter! See the three connected green lines in the chart connecting to the red line across the chart from Moon to Sun? That’s the Bow! The green lines create advantageous links between the planets across the red line, in this case, the Full Moon axis. Jupiter is lucky, Saturn gets the job done!

Moon trine Jupiter offers a significant public venue! Moon in Aquarius reads the mood of the people, unifies the community, spreads the word throughout the Internet, across the world! Friend to friend a collective is formed, changes made. Jupiter in Libra has super fortunate liaisons, generously funds collaborative efforts to educate to the furthest reaches, travel intelligently!

Sun crossed Mars July 26, still motivated by spirited Mars coming to a lucky sextile touch with Jupiter Aug 10! In this case it’s a dance, special sweet relationships! Put on your best shoes and win the race! New relationships will stir your blood.

Sun and Moon are abundant in their sextile and trine with Jupiter! Sun in his own sign Leo and Jupiter are both natural teachers! Leo is known for a dramatic and excellent performance, full of life and color! Jupiter is a grand storyteller, and in Libra embellishes his tales with insights and facts about people from far away places. Together, Sun in Leo and Jupiter in Libra play off each other with spellbinding and artfully inspiring entertainment!

Moon in Aquarius is also delighted with all the amazing people Jupiter in Libra connects them with! Could be the party of a lifetime, an extraordinary singer, an inventor with an uncanny idea! Some differences will not be bridged by having a mutual friend, so don’t expect everyone to become bosom buds. To everyone’s surprise, some unlikely people may become lifelong couples or business partners!

Sun and Moon are also in excellent aspects with Saturn in Sagittarius. The Sun trines; the Moon sextiles Saturn in just hours! It’s wonderfully productive on large scale projects, well monitored over a longer period of time, and includes intriguing foreign principles as well as imports! Exporting goes well too. Teaching goes well. There are fine presentations, that combine just the right balance of local necessity and international ventures.

Mercury is slowing to Retrograde Aug 12, so charming Venus in Cancer, moving faster, is making the sextile to Mercury in Virgo! The practical side of things gets done at home and at work too! Techniques are delightfully woven into our daily fabric. The Art gallery is in order, the finest are selected for cultural beauty, utility and fine craftsmanship. Though it is tempting to do beauty and body work, make clothing choices, it is so close to Mercury Rx, there is a good chance you won’t want the same things very soon. Be sure to get warranties, receipts for refunds. Quickly design your business card and logo. See if it withstands Mercury Rx before you print. Rather than remodel, design on paper and wait. Further options are quite likely to come along! Wait until about 5 days after Mercury turns forward/direct to get engaged. He turns forward Sept 5.

The August 4 Jupiter square Pluto has barely passed. If it activated your chart, it may have seemed a disaster, you may have narrowly avoided it, got sideswiped, or navigated it with panache! This Eclipse will deepen your perspective and encourage you to see new possibilities now that the old debris has been cleared. Give yourself a good shake, throw your shoulders back, lift your chin and go for it!

Second Leo New Moon, US SOLAR TOTAL ECLIPSE!  
3rd Grand Fire Trine! Jupiter Sextile Saturn Aug 27

Monday August 21, at 11:30 AM Pacific, 28 Leo 53!

What perfect charts are opening the way to our Total Solar Eclipse! Clearing the past, lots of winning high energy, gloriously being yourself, a strong focus on romance and relationships, teaching and giving, creative radiance and a willing heart of Love!

Customarily I calculate the New/Full Moon charts for my location, Santa Barbara CA, but this one is calculated for the location of the Greatest Duration, GD, of the Eclipse, Shawnee National Forest, just south of Carbondale IL, at the time of GD there, 1:20 PM CDT! The actual New Moon is 1:30 PM CDT. Please see all about the Eclipse here!

Mars, Initiation and Activation, is still in the picture, being the first one of the three Leo planets in the Eclipse chart. It just sextiled Lucky Jupiter  the day before – the race was won, and is powerfully finding its mark with its trine to the Master, Saturn Aug 22! Things are getting done with perfect timing, and they will last. Saturn has felt Mars coming and is ready now to turn with the tides.

Mercury is retrograde in one of his own signs, Virgo. Retrograde is a time of deeper delving. She’s taking notes, telling the story of our realizations. As she writes, she transposes here and there, things get out of order and the revelation is made, an accidental new order assuredly happens! There are times she forgets what happened exactly and the mind of the mind is invited to insert a different resolution, fill in the blanks from a more current context. Eclipses are all about Revelation!

Having come close to opposite Neptune in Pisces, logical Mercury in Virgo has had hints of the divine order that transcends that of worldly goods. But using that higher order as a model, connections made here have more meaning now. We can literally be transported by our good health, the ease of flow created easily carries us to the next level before we even realize we are there!

The Moon’s 24 degree North Node ties the early twenty degree planets, Mars and Saturn, with the later twenty degree planets, Uranus, Moon and Sun to make a THIRD Grand Fire Trine! Sun trined Uranus Aug 20, 11:23 PM Pacific, Moon trined 10:38 AM Pacific Eclipse morning. Leo, the sign of the SUN, is the LIGHT! Jupiter is leaving the Aug 4 square with Pluto behind. There will be remnants for awhile, ghosties that will need your attention so you don’t fall back. Any difficult times that have jumped on you will make you all the more determined to turn the tables, plug any leaks, clean up any last messes and move on to more amenable circumstances.

The once only Aug 27 Jupiter sextile Saturn is an outer planet combination offers opportunities of prosperity, enjoyable work, a solid future! Saturn is retrograde, going back to meet Jupiter. Each is willing. Jupiter in Libra has ideas of expansion, increasing the territory, franchises, more education, travel, publishing, including people from diverse cultures. Saturn in Sagittarius is the expert who builds the structures and systems, does real estate, the scientist, laws, the commander, CEO, master of timing and resources, considers age, the importance of Fathering, mentoring. Here are the states of the eclipse path! Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, North and South Carolina! 

Officials in Wyoming’s Teton County are already setting up management plans to prepare for a crush of 40,000 tourists, including people camping illegally, who are expected to swarm Jackson Hole this summer to see the total solar eclipse. Remember, it’s Summer! Get your glasses, the best camera gear you can lay hands on, a telescope, and make your viewing plans NOW! Not to be missed!

The next total solar eclipse over the continental U.S. occurs April 8, 2024 and it crosses the 2017 eclipse path near Carbondale Illinois! You could be there both times! Take your kids!
