New SuperMoon!  Saturn square Chiron, Mercury, GALACTIC CENTER!

Wednesday April 26, 5:16 AM Pacific at 6 Taurus 27!

Galactic Center 2009 NASA

Hang onto your socks, Earthlings! In celebration of the International Year of Astronomy 2009, NASA’s Great Observatories — the Hubble Space Telescope, the Spitzer Space Telescope, and the Chandra X-ray Observatory — collaborated to produce an unprecedented image of the central region of our Milky Way galaxy! This image takes up about 1 degree across the sky. The Galactic Center is the white area to the right just below center.

First of four 2017 supermoons, a new supermoon! The new moons on April 26, May 25 and June 24 all qualify as supermoons. Tides are higher. Spirits have more volume! In Taurus that can mean more need for closeness, candles and romance, good food and lots of it, or an urge to secure our resources! We might exercise more or start a New Moon plan to do so!

This Taurus New Moon opens gentle doors to breaking down the barriers of the April 30 Saturn square Chiron healing. Chiron doesn’t always want healing, or give up secrets of the healing arts easily. Not all healing is comfortable as we let go, shift our lives, make adjustments. Sometimes we lose close relationships. Careers and businesses ventures may be challenged, breakthroughs possible. Recovery can be hard work, but we step out of the crucible over the threshold, a new person, no longer vulnerable to that old condition. Taurus can be the calming balm, soothing. It gives us fortitude, patience, determination to best the odds, endure until we are able to stand up again, to live in better ways.

Saturn in Sagittarius is retrograde, going back to make his second trine with Uranus May 18! An old Master, he is experienced, he knows that Uranian change is smart evolution, inevitable. It is a relief to old stunted stilted tired thinking. It frees us to a greater range of ideas, opportunities made more whole by a multitude of community contribution! The gains are so more worth it than the cost of the change to make them! Long term payoffs. Productive friends and associates. Sciences flourish.

Mercury is retrograding as well, going back to conjunct Uranus! In Aries it is fireworks and inspiration like never before! Every person is spontaneously independently giving their part! This is an outspoken crowd! Saturn in Sagittarius, trining them both, has important serious opinions. Uranus is the rebel ahead of his time, Aries is the volatile Leader of Light, Mercury is the Word – in this case shouted! I suspect the April 29 Climate March will have super impact!

The GALACTIC CENTER figures strongly in our New Moon chart! Saturn is at 27 Sagittarius, one degree of the GC! Yes, he squares Chiron, but also trines Uranus at 25 Aries, and Mercury at 26 Aries, they in lucky trine with the GC! Uranus, ruling the heavens, IS our galactic planet, and Mercury of mind is considered exalted in Uranus’s sign Aquarius. Mercury with Uranus is positively brilliant! Ideas ahead of their time, research that amazes the world. Mercury wants to talk, download! Probably intergalactic at this point! Just tune the dial! Speech, communications are emphasized! It can be gibberish to genius, higher learning in progress. Breathless with keen excitement, electrified fingers reach out to touch! We are alive and transforming ourselves and others at once!

Mercury is retrograde in Aries. Though fast in Aries, Mercury retrograde is also reviewing, turning it’s thoughts, going over what was done, might have been missed, what to do, how to do it better and be more to the point until May 3! He turns forward then and definitely puts things into action, trials and finishing details until he enters Taurus again May 15. From then on there needs to be visible progress. Aries is mind; Taurus is matter. Make time to think and be ready to use the ideas you have now for good results to come.

Mercury and Mars, the planet of Aries, are in mutual reception, in each other’s signs. With one eye over the shoulder, the other looking straight ahead, right between your eyes, sequences are instantly understood. With Mars in Gemini, the vision is all encompassing, scans are comprehensive and as fast as a blink! Trust your flash of insight; it is gifted. Quickly document all aspects with as many outlets as possible so there will be as much distribution and continuance as possible. Breathe out the Word!

In the beginning it will take many Souls to carry all the parts of this great body of knowledge. Each one will need to be free and independent enough to do their part. Each part needs to be protected until it is anchored while still pure. It is important that these Light Workers remain unclouded by popular thought.

These aspects lend an empowering background and meaning to the New Moon. At 6 Taurus, the New Moon makes no major aspects yet is vitally important to being a part of the fabric of the greater scenario. She acts as an unobstructed channel. Taurus stands in strength, able to support and sustain the platform for the massive amount of information that is coming through. Impeccable.

There are three planets in spiritual PiscesNeptune, Pisces’ planet, Chiron the Healer/Teacher, and Venus, herself at 29 Pisces, the last degree of the zodiac! At this time, these three hold the shimmering living vision that permeates our Being. Art and beauty, music, attract us, keep us tuned to deeper knowing. Neptune calls for compassion. Chiron repairs our sorrows and Soul, boosts us to the next level with its teaching.

Venus holds a special point not only because she is at the last degree of the zodiac, but she is at the degree of the Pleiades, the Seven Sisters! The Zuni of New Mexico call the Pleiades the Seed Stars; the Japanese call them Subaru, meaning ‘unite.’ They are in the shoulder of the bull, the TAURUS constellation, and Taurus is one of Venus’ signs! Alcyone is their main star. You can imagine what kind of troubles could ensue due to 7 sisters! Venus is susceptible to greed, envy, possessiveness, selfishness and self indulgence. On the other hand, 7 feminine forces to your favor wouldn’t be all bad, LOL! Can you imagine the strength in the shoulder of the Bull?!! Venus is a proponent of the arts, love and kindness, self esteem, clear values, and attracts money!

In a few days Venus concludes her mission here, goes into Aries, the first degree of the entire zodiac, Friday the 28th, 6:18 AM Pacific. Minutes later, Mercury then conjuncts Uranus in Aries at 7:50 AM! A feisty and zesty morning! Go to breakfast with your confidants and colleagues! Ask for their support with your causes; give yours to theirs as you can.

The Second Labor of Hercules

Alone and still filled with deep distress, Hercules must rescue a sacred bull [Taurus] from its intended sacrifice to Minos, King of Crete and deliver it to the mainland. On the island, where the bull is captive, is a vast maze, which can lure the adventurous to their bewilderment. Here, following the gleaming star shining from its forehead, Hercules pursues the bull from place to place. Single-handed, he captures it and rides it like a horse through the waters to the mainland, surrounded by the seven Sisters [Pleiades constellation]. He leads it to the Holy Place and delivers it safely to its guardians.

Today, the goal is attained through group effort. This group is ruled by Taurus, and to it that divine Taurian energy brings ‘illumination and the attainment of the vision’. This group is, figuratively speaking, the ‘bull, rushing forward upon a straight line with its one eye fixed upon the goal and beaming light’. That goal is not the goal of Self-illumination, for that lies far behind; it is the goal of providing a centre of light within the world and of holding up the vision to the sons of wo/men.  …excerpted and paraphrased from Lucis Trust

This is the annual merger of Moon and Sun in Taurus. Let it be your abiding guide. Center, focus, stay strong in your core. You may not be Hercules, but each of us is a point of Light. Keep it burning exactly your special way.

Full Flower Moon!
Wesak, Buddha’s Birthday!
Jupiter inconjunct Neptune, Saturn trine Uranus!
Galactic Center, Scorpio – Pluto & Mars trine Jupiter!

Wednesday May 10, 2:42 PM Pacific at 20 Scorpio 24

Taurus - Woman Buddha Full Moon

Be your own Buddha!

The Scorpio/Taurus Full Moon opens our wings to the May 17/18 companion aspects, Jupiter inconjunct Neptune and Saturn trine Uranus!

Optimistic Jupiter in Libra visions as far off in time and space as it can! Neptune IS time and space, boundless. An inconjunct aspect invites exploration, peripheral vision, a detour to another dimension! Diversions, distractions and divisions. It can seem things are out of control, but comparisons are made, sensitivity is registered. Jupiter instinctively looks for the best. At any given time things only go so far as new cloaks are able to be tried on. Go lightly as options are considered. Rather than immediate stern defenses, ask questions and invite answers. There may be confusion that seems like mindlessness, but things get sorted out in time. If it is an emergency, stamp your foot and get everyone back to center focus ASAP!

Saturn makes the trine with Uranus May 18. He is the planet of time, age, wisdom earned by experience. Saturn employs boundaries for prevention and protection, regulates flow and distribution. Uranus is the planet of freedom, inevitable evolution, sweeping change, the heavens, sudden shifts of consciousness! There are no boundaries! Saturn linked with Uranus by a trine of success, can ride the plane, shift to different levels of awareness, bring the information home and put the amazing inventions to work for all! Universal blessings. Saturn sees the reality of change and picks what will work most usefully in current times. Those who are innovative for the greater good, and work in harmony with friends and community, will prosper. The whole system is advanced fortuitously. Remarkable!

Neither of these aspects may happen with flashing lights, but soon enough, here and there, results will become evident and the tide will change. What once were isolated outposts become networked teams. A less volatile resistance, more practical posture will be taken as new ideas, cultural integration, proves to work.

What does POP is that Saturn is at 26 Sagittarius May 8 to June 1, the very degree of the GALACTIC CENTER, the center of our Milky Way Galaxy! If you are so lucky to have factors within a degree or two of that number, what a mighty potential there can be if you are ready for it! Sagittarius usually does well with Aries and Leo, Libra and Aquarius, sometimes Gemini.

Moon Scorpio, Sun Taurus! What a mighty combo, fixed signs. Taurus, of Earth herself, immovable, organic, substantial. Scorpio is the sign of the Underworld with all his secrets. How can you change what you can’t see? Both are senses oriented, Taurus sensuality, Scorpio sexuality! Taurus holds position, anchors, while Scorpio ignites the Kundalini fire at the base of your spine! If you can’t see it, maybe you can feel it!

It may be a delicate situation. The huge red giant star Aldebaran holds the fire in the right eye of the Bull! If Taurus pushes, Scorpio retreats. Scorpio tries to circle around behind, but Taurus has always lived in the pasture and senses predator presence. And with their Taurus outwaiting solidarity, hooves and horns, they don’t be pushed much either. Scorpio’s star is Antares, also reddish, and has the cat eyes, Shaula and Lesath, in its tail! A scorpion may be small, but can be deadly and accurate. Powerful guardians. As a therapist they can change your life with few to no words at all! Symbolically Scorpio sees over, within, behind and beyond – the Past, current status, consequences of your actions. If your Taurus-Scorpio union has a mutual purpose, use each other’s powers wisely toward your goal. Let the rest be.

Moon in Scorpio is sextile Scorpio’s planet Pluto in Capricorn! It’s the power to use the old black magic! It can be charismatic, sneaky in the kitchen, love bites in the bedroom, killer with real estate, a high end thief, a healer of extreme suffering. Emotions run the gamut, from none and numb to inundation. Children and family, both Mom and Dad, weigh in strongly. Career may be easily achieved, or obsessive and wickedly never ending, never enough, or simply a lifelong dedication!

Sun trine Pluto, is a powerful wealth aspect. So many famous people have this aspect – not in these signs necessarily. Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Eric Clapton, and slinky Shakira. Also tragic Princess Grace Kelly, scary Bruce Lee, Christina RicciColin FarrellCharles BronsonSteven Seagal, Cate Blanchette, Francois Mitterand, Rupert Murdoch, Buster Keaton and George Sand. It’s kind of an odd combination in that the Sun is the Light, and Pluto was the God of the underworld, of death. But it also brings personal wealth because the Sun is the planet of Self, and puts its whole heart in it! To be charismatic, along with other factors in your chart, attracts recognition. Pluto can be perfectionist, obsessed, and what it decides to do, it does well, fearlessly. In Capricorn these days, it is working with sciences, time, elders, takes super responsibility (or none at all). It is political, tending to the conservative side. Works with laws, rekindles research to heal long standing diseases. It’s a shamanic powerhouse.

As Saturn backs away from his April 30 square with Chiron, Moon is coming in to trine Chiron. Chiron may have felt a little chapped by Saturn’s demands, square realities to be faced, and bruised a bit by his judgments. Moon in Scorpio is here to soothe Chiron’s wounds. Moon loves you no matter what, Scorpio is not afraid you might bite. Scorpio wants to know where it hurts so it can know what to do. And Sun lightens things up, sextiles Chiron with a calming peace in Taurus, brings the flowers and herbal lotions. As they give you things to do that you do well, you perk up, get your strength and honor back.

Mars in Gemini is about to square Neptune in Pisces, then pushes its trine with Jupiter in Libra! First there is some time in Neptune’s foggy dew, searching for your lost keys. Who knows what other marvels have presented themselves, mysteries have been solved?! Or maybe it is good exploring underwater and you are even a little overwhelmed by all there is to see. And what dreams! At 13, 13 and 14 degrees, these three planets are closely linked. Understanding and a burst into action and spreading the good word are almost simultaneous! There is sudden insight, a breakthrough to compassion, and seeing who to connect with to carry the messages, all at once. Suffering is a strong motivator. Time to let go of addictions, get some exercise, turn the tables. Get in some tennis time, step into some new dancing shoes! Hang out with healthy allies!

Mercury in Aries and Mars in Gemini are still in each other’s signs, a mutual reception! Mercury is direct, moving forward now, and has just electrically conjuncted Uranus the second and last time yesterday! We are reminded to put the brilliance of that connection we had at the New Moon into channels of fulfillment now at this Full Moon. In sympathy with Mars of leadership and action, we are inspired and it happens! Easier than expected!

Every single planet is engaged at this Buddha Birthday Full Flower Moon! It is pregnant in Spirit, linking between each of us, with our peers, partners and equals, to our community and the world at large!

May your life be filled with sweet connections!

FULL Hunter’s Moon – WESAK!
NEW Moon – Jupiter is the Key Outer Planet!

Full Hunter’s Moon, WESAK – 7 Planet Pattern, 17 Degrees!
Tuesday Oct 27, 5:05 AM Pacific, at 3 Taurus 45

Full Moon Shamanic Hunter Wesak

Our Scorpio Full Moon celebrates the Shamanic Hunter and opposite Wesak, the celebration of the Buddha’s birthday in May! In some people’s minds the Hunt is for the shamanic life we subconsciously long for, to be One with Spirit. This time of year, days getting shorter and cooler, is a time to ready our winter supplies, make good connections with those who might help us if we need it. Halloween, a time of Magic, redressing ourselves, is just days after this Full Moon. Who we want to be, unresolved matters in our life, may show in our costume. These are times of deepening.

♦♦ Jupiter opposite Chiron, inconjunct Uranus are concurrent with the Full Moon, exact Nov 3 and 5!These aspects are the first of 3 sets, two more in 2016. The Full Moon opens the gateway wide to expand our range of embrace. Jupiter in Virgo is the consummate dietician/nurse. Uranus in Aries brings non traditional methods into play. Chiron in Pisces sees the needs of the people and may set up a clinic for them. See more!

The Sun/Moon axis is at three degrees Scorpio/Taurus. These are fixed signs, meant to keep the status quo or return it to its organic core. Opposite they consider different values. Moon in Taurus isn’t about to give up her shopping money. Scorpio wants to invest it leaving some there to continue investing, only taking a percentage off the top occasionally. Venus ruled Taurus loves sensuality, fertile earthy gardens. Scorpio wants deep relationships, meaningful sex, and to be sure the garden irrigation system is working sustainably. Taurus will be sure you are well cared for, found an organization for you. Scorpio wants to heal your Soul and provides the physical and relationship therapy. Though opposite, they can make a great team.

  • They are in exact aspect, at the same degree, with Saturn and in close degrees with Neptune in its own sign Pisces. Sun is semi sextile Saturn and Moon is inconjunct Saturn. Both Scorpio and Taurus get along well with Saturn the Capricorn builder planet, but are pushed a bit by it being in Sagittarius, a more playful, even frivolous sign, by their standards. Sagittarius livens up the mix with good fun, ideas, an eye to the future. Saturn takes the spin off it and makes it credible.
  • Sun and Saturn may have bones to pick. Sun is himself, very himself, in private Scorpio. Saturn thinks he’s the boss and in Sag wants the Truth, capital T! But no mere stamping of feet is going to get Sun to lose it, and if pushed too hard, may level the playing field. Canny Saturn might be ready for that and quickly back off, headed for greener pastures, or call in the troops for a little peer pressure. Scorpio might be wise to let selected information be revealed, in a timely fashion, of course, just enough to move things along. If they are in alignment, a lot of funding may be achieved and projects completed, future plans laid. Be good to yourself. Depression, grief, being tired may slow you down some. Could be something that happened a long time ago, yet there are memories. If you need it, get a little more rest. Open the curtains, get some fresh air. You can do it.
  • Moon and Saturn are rulers of opposite signs, so in effect are having a little side Full Moon of their own! Moon naturally rules Cancer, and Saturn naturally rules Capricorn, signs of the Mother and Father, home and profession. Moon in Taurus has feelings about the land, sustainability, security, endurance, values, our bodies, personal ownership. Saturn in Sagittarius is concerned with the Mission, teachings, where we should live, migration, stories with a moral, the Temple, building and long term planning.
  • Sun & Moon with Neptune is juicy! Sun in water sign Scorpio, Moon a water planet, Neptune a water planet in a water sign! Let’s go down to the harbor, or sleep on the houseboat at the lagoon tonight, snorkel tomorrow! Scorpio, Moon and Taurus all want financial stability. Neptune would like to fund the concert or a marine institute, but is more intuitive and mystical than financial. Dreams and visions are its trade. It adds compassion and empathy for causes.

♦♦ Prominent Seven-Planet Pattern! It is an Equidistant pattern, equidistant said by the Magi Society to be powerful, especially when in the same degree! This one has three planets in Virgo, two in Libra, both sets inconjuncting other planets in Pisces and Aries. That further translates to those pairs of planets each opposite the other two planets! FOUR of those six factors, one at each point, are at 17 degrees, so the formation is tight and immediate! The anchor aspects are formed by slow moving planets Jupiter opposite Chiron, exact Nov 3, and Jupiter inconjunct Uranus, exact Nov 5. The other aspects are come-and-goes emphasizing, stirring up interest, enriching the learnings, drawing from them! See the pattern? Two purple lines horizontally linked by two sets of double red lines across the chart corner to corner.

  • Jupiter & Venus in Virgo inconjunct Uranus in Aries. The 25th Venus just made the 3rd/last conjunction of its Rx pattern with Jupiter. Such a blessing! Venus gives her love, makes beauty, brings Grace. Jupiter can be an untidy but amiable guy, doing his best to get things in order in Virgo. Venus whispers tips to him, admiring his personal style, and he is so happy. Jupiter gives tickets and some special publicity to her, sponsoring her poetry. They enjoy working together, each giving full measure, sharing ideas.
  • Jupiter & Venus opposite Chiron. Chiron in Pisces is a tad otherworldly, not as concerned about earthly order, but happy if it mirrors Divine order. Chiron images the vision, and Venus, seeing a value there, looks back over her shoulder to see if Jupiter got it too. Together they can flesh it out. Sometimes Jupiter and Venus may get all into themselves plus have a little workaholism. They need the reminder why they are here. Chiron sees their beautiful painstaking work, is heartened by their progress and offers rest for the weary. It is good.
  • Lilith and Mercury are inconjunct Chiron, opposite Uranus. They are in the reverse positions that Jupiter and Venus are having with Chiron and Uranus. The opposition with Uranus was also the 25th, a provocative day! The 24th and 25th were days to be a little careful, give plenty of space for instant course corrections. Keep track of inspirational ideas, put them on the books for further contemplation. Step out of the box to include someone new and brilliant! Chiron in Pisces plays counter position to too much logic versus empathy, offering time out to be alone, and imagination for the miracles.

FOUR planets at 17 degrees, Venus and Lilith, Chiron and Uranus, are also strongly semi sextile each other. Semi sextiles can be potent. I usually don’t bring Lilith into things, though I do show her, but this time she is in relationship with three planets!

Venus and Lilith both represent forms of the Feminine. Venus is depicted as the placid, compliant standard of beauty; Lilith stories are quite opposite, the grim child eater, man raper and hater, killer. Huge differences representing patriarchal preference and fear. That has been changed by modern women to Lilith the independent woman. Venus in Virgo the Virgin would be a compliant worker woman type. In more modern terms, a woman who loves her work, has a specialty, and is paid well. Venus was with Jupiter the 25th, so I hope she is in superlative health and beauty, asked for a raise and won the trip! She has blessings to bring to this Full Moon! Lilith in Libra is looking for independence in a well balanced relationship, socially celebrated equally for who she is. Now, clearly, this can be in men’s charts, and babies born at this time will have the aspect. Men may have some gender questions, of themselves, of the women in their lives about women! Babies need the strong positive feminine role model from their Mum, and the respectful of women role model from their Papa.

Opposite and inconjunct them, Chiron is semi sextile Uranus. This aspect has been in effect since 2008 and will continue through 2021! See more! This adds compassion from Chiron in Pisces, and a brilliant light-the-sky spark from Uranus in Aries! Changes by the minute, no going back, only integration, fitting new people and pieces together! Uranus in Aries fresh innovations, Venus’s beauty touch, Lilith in the lead for women, Chiron keeping the dreams alive! Surprises and prodigies! Heros & heroines at every corner!

At 20 degrees each, Mars in Virgo is semi sextile Mercury in Libra. Mars isn’t famous for major physical energy in Virgo, sexual or sports energy, nor is Mercury (Virgo’s planet) in Libra. Sonnets are more likely, but Mars is Mars. With data in folder, Mars will stimulate the debate, insert the key winning points for Mercury’s case! If Mercury was fence sitting, Mars will champion, encourage Mercury to take a firm fair stand.

In addition, Mars conjuncted Jupiter Oct 17, Venus did Oct 25 only two days before! Mars got excited to see Jupiter again after 2 years, this time getting ideas how to more wisely organize his time. Though Jupiter is often a procrastinator or the traveler who abandons projects, and Mars usually a starter not a finisher, they even complete a couple projects! Venus will join Mars Nov 2 blessing her handsome champion! Venus brings her folder too, prettier, filled with sketches and poetic observations. She has ideas who to share with, bring into the project. She and Mars put their ideas together, they get it done and the results are pure grace!

Is there a planet I haven’t mentioned?! Yes, Pluto, because the planets have passed it by or aren’t close enough to spark it’s energy right now. Some of you are wiping your brow. Whew. But even without it, this Full Moon is plenty complex, intense, intricate, busy! Relationships, finances, work matters, kids and spirituality will fully claim your attention!

Scorpio New Moon – Jupiter is the Key Outer Planet!
Wednesday Nov 11, at 9:47 AM Pacific – 19 Scorpio 01

Scorpio Yoga Cobra Pose
The Cobra Yoga pose, very suitable for Scorpios ~

The awakened Kundalini, the life force energy at the base of our spines, releases a primordial power that wields impressive strength and healing. Some healer/teachers operate low key, one on one. Others are ecstatic charismatics that attract millions. You may have a taste of that experience with this 19 degree Scorpio New Moon.

The NUMBERS! 19 Scorpio, in old Horary astrology, was called the ‘dread degree’ of the entire zodiac! Many are born on 19 Scorpio and do fine. Clearly there are not terrible world traumatizing events that day every year. Yet, there are times, and for some people, it indicates severe challenge, possibly life long. One 19 Scorpio Moon woman never knew her mother, was in 13 foster homes, and was known for her volatile emotions. Events may be defined quite differently. Is it carnage – or should we call it regeneration? Shall we hire the wrecking crew for things that completed their usefulness, clear the path for repurposing?

11th month, 11th day! And in numerology, 19 is a number you subtract 9 (completions and endings) from and it reduces to 1! Elevens are double ones and add up to two! Double numbers are considered Master numbers, and we have double doubles for this New Moon! Ones, Aries, are considered to be the number of Initiation, new beginnings! One stands alone, a leader at the point. Two Ones could be two leaders side by side, perhaps like the Gemini symbol of the Twins, male and female! Two Ones could indicate the doubling of power, or a unity of like minded Beings. Two Ones could be a Duality, of any or many kinds. Classic dualities are body and Spirit, as above so below – a figure 8 of coexistence.

Twos, like Taurus, the Venus ruled the 2nd sign, are thought of as solid, stable, dependable, loyal. There is the possibility of mutual support, each offering its gifts. Got your back. It’s not just what you do, but how you do it. Patience, Grace and charm bless Twos.

NEW MOONS end, and begin. Scorpio cleans more than your house and it purges! So when the end is here, leftovers are repurposed or tossed, excess redistributed. Your body is keenly surveyed – better food, more intense exercise, safer resting place. Your mental accumulation is gleaned for the best ideas and those are refocused on, prioritized. Upon completion, the gold is celebrated! A clean spiritual anchor is sought and placed at the best current vantage point. New beginnings, decisions can now be made from a clear core.

Mercury is coming upon the Sun/Moon union. He is following up, perceptively using his logic, is informative, refining what grabs his attention. In Scorpio he chats on the down low, listening carefully about important private matters, relationships, sexuality, finances, health. Wills, insurances, prenups, may be on your mind. Matters will take a little time. Mercury catches up with Sun on Nov 17 at 6:53 AM Pacific. Since that is early Pacific time, meetings may need to be the day before. Contracts can be signed anytime you choose. Use Astro*Locality/relocation charts to select the perfect timing at each of your locations to sign and fax.

Recently our Sun and Moon made several potent aspects that contributed to the success of this New Moon!

  • First they trined Chiron in Pisces! They gave and received insights of healing, sharing Light and Spirit. Expertise flowed and business alliances selected showed special potential.
  • Next, also at 17 degrees, they inconjuncted Uranus. Possible dissention and a jolt of shocking ideas. Maybe unwanted awareness, but nevertheless stimulating and now under consideration. Might not be ready for these changes yet, but progress bit by bit can happen.
  • Most successfully, they sextiled lucky generous Jupiter!!! Redirecting the budget, refinancing, seeing actual costs, re sourcing the materials is quite helpful. It seems most possible personally. Confidence and optimism, common sense, a bit of a getaway trip restores health, refreshes Spirit. Women and children in your life are doing well. Might consider a little homestead renovation to increase values and sustainability, give more spacious living!

Like Neptune has been in his own sign Pisces, Venus is now in one of her own signs, Libra. She is communing with Saturn in Sagittarius, inviting him to her villa on the Grecian Mediterranean! He is interested in ancient classic art, feels appreciated, so accepts the invitation, makes time to travel. He has long term purposes, and perhaps buys some lovely imports to take home for museum or sale, which also pays for the trip and entertainment. The exchange is pleasing. Venus is honored by this respected appraiser’s observations. They may form a lasting alliance, in fact, their relationship may become romantic as well.

Mars, at the last degree of Virgo, is readying to go into Libra the next day! In truth, he is frantically tidying up at the last minute, feels the need to finish up projects right and left! Take a deep breath, prioritize, and you’ll be happy knowing you did what was most important. Tomorrow is another day, and, of course, Libra, from that point of view, will likely reassess anyway! Changes will be made in view of important relationships that can assist and promote. Legal matters may come into play. In addition to Virgo quality, attractive touches will be added.

Start consciously preparing for this New Moon a week or more before. Open the gateways. Take advantage of those preceding aspects to make this one a deeply rich reward. Be a living part of it, creating as much as receiving.

WESAK FULL Flower Moon ~ Jupiter TSquare, Pluto Bow!
Taurus New Moon ~ Caput Algol, Mercury Station, Pluto YOD!
May 2015 Sky Map

X
WESAK Full Flower Moon – Jupiter TSquare, Pluto Bow
Sunday May 3 at 8:42 PM Pacific – 13 Scorpio 23

Taurus 2015 WESAK Full Flower Moon Dyer
Though this is at Bow Lake, Banff, Alan Dyer of Alberta, captures a scene worthy of the Buddha’s birthday celebration, WESAK, in the Himalayas!

Full Moons both divide and unite. Sun and Moon are as far apart as they can get in our heavens, giving each space to be themselves, the least fettered by the other. Unlike a New Moon Merger, they have spread their skills to the far winds, and being separated, they can see each other respectfully for who they are uniquely rather than so at one ment they see the New Moon merger rather than their difference. Since January, the Full Moons of the signs are coming before the New Moons, so the appreciation of difference comes first, setting the stage for a respectful and more whole merger of equals. This will be true until May/June 2016 when there will be two Gemini Full Moons, and the pattern then reversed, New Moons before Full Moons.

Full Moons unite anyway because they negotiate, offer options for partnership, enhance each others standing. Division is like multiplication when we each bring our skills to the project! We get to know each other, different ages, faiths, races. A rich blend creates more than was ever expected, has a life of its own!

The Moon in Scorpio has a nose for power and primal forces, wants to share, is a natural healer, is deeply intimate, stands with you from birth to death. They have lots of cards, some of which you will never be privy to. They are superb at recycling and detoxing, cleanup. Successful research and medicine, corporate funding, behind the scenes access are possible. Perfumes, mushrooms and vampires, and fine wine.

The Sun in Taurus, the sign of the Buddha, is steady in the Light. What Scorpio knows, Taurus, the knower of lasting value, brings to the surface to be tended and nurtured. Gentle Taurus, slow and safe, listens to the wild beasties, hears their song. Super strong Taurus is literally capable of carrying the Scorpio knowledge, so Scorpio is willing to share with them. Taurus is often a founder, founding organizations, funding teachings. Taurus’ staying power is surety there will be time enough for the teachings to spread and sink in. This pair are formidable fixed signs with forever intentions. Give them the job.

Mercury in Gemini is just barely separating opposition Saturn Sagittarius, having been exact at 1:35 AM! May 1 or 2 may have brought some harsh or fearful, sad words or thoughts about responsibilities or commitments, credibility matters. Calm yourself, face realities, focus on doing the best you can do in a timely fashion.

Venus has only four more days in Gemini, is separating a semi sextile Mars in Taurus (one of Venus’s signs). Values need to be put into action, loving appreciative words need to be spoken. Actions need to be stabilized by additional positive information that makes you more fully enjoy your work.

A SAME degree Jupiter Leo T Square is the big affair of the day! Getting where you want to go may not be so easy. But often, that IS the test. You may not have directions, or there is an error, it is the ‘wrong’ right day, someone else can’t go. Trust is called for. Trusting yourself, your feelings, that you can do on your own. Teachings may not be accepted just yet. Good intentions may not make it happen. The signs are all fixed, so give things time. Go with an open mind, you may be the one who changes! Be exuberant, but not so pushy they dig in. If you are the listener, breathe and breathe, relax. No matter how excited others are, you still can make up your own mind, and, oh heavens, disagree! Maybe the whole show never comes to pass and you save time and money! Or, there could be breakthroughs! All that stirring up was just what was needed for people to see!

♦ Pluto Capricorn Bow Pattern Maybe you haven’t heard of a Bow Pattern. It is two planets opposite each other, in this case the Full Moon, Sun and Moon, with a third planet, in this case Pluto, at a 1/3 and 2/3s point between them. Sun in Taurus is trine (120 degrees) Pluto Cap in the first and last Earth signs. Sun is making the approach, so Light is coming to darker Pluto Cap. Taurus has an inevitable quality, not easily dissuaded once in motion, and the Sun is indomitable. Expect a brightening, a steadying, a sensible reasoning. Sun trine Pluto is famous for successful major corporate business. Things that have been on the table for awhile, barring the Jupiter T Square matters, may come to fruition.

Moon in Scorpio is sextile (60 degrees) with Pluto, Scorpio’s planet, in Capricorn! There is harmony of Scorpio/Pluto and water/earth compatibility. Sextiles are enriched by different elements giving more opportunities, collaborations. Moon in Scorpio handles the monies adroitly, while lawmaker Capricorn drives the work force, is the Captain of Time. Scorpio is the delving psychoanalyst, while Capricorn the Builder composes the structure. They are adept at rebirth, renewing the old, archaeological to historical.

North Node in Libra, on a 19 year cycle, now conjuncts fixed star Vindemiatrix, inconjuncts Neptune in Pisces.

  • North Node Libra  North Nodes in general are thought to be where we are balancing the old opposite sign in our chart. Sometimes there is a little fear getting used to new territory, so opposite where old skills are held. Aries is opposite Libra, a supreme independence versus the can’t-make-up-your-mind Libra impotence. Yet Librans are tigers when they get to court as lawyers, are in a political fray, or strategize chess or wars. They are not shy at socializing! Relationships are a must. Libra is amiable and accomodating. Collaboration and partnership make good sense, independence need not be lost.
  • Vindemiatrix.  Add these factors: On the dark side, Astrologer Robson says V is Saturn/Mercury by nature, hence gives falsity, disgrace, stealing, wanton folly and often causes its natives to become widows, the WidowMaker. Ebertin & Hoffman, differently say it gives mental concentration, great for architects and businessmen. If it is badly placed, and especially so if in conjunction with Saturn or Neptune, there is a tendency to depressive moods, skepticism, a distrustful nature. Bernadette Brady takes us back to that V is in Virgo, sign of harvest. It offers the taking time to harvest what you have planted, to patiently collect the things that you like or need. Art collectors, stamp collectors, people who gather facts or things are expressions of this star.
  • The inconjunct with Neptune throws one off kilter a bit. With things slightly askew, there are shifts in perspective, leaks to the outside, infusions seep inside. Secure all the openings, or allow the ventilation, observing the opportunities as they come by, or you go by them. You can adjust by both letting go, making new space, and deliberately making an oblique foray worth the exploration! New relationships, what you might never have considered before, may be formed out of seeming chaos. Neptune softens the boundaries. There is confusion, some fear of the unknown, yet new awareness. Misunderstandings become compassion. Balance is differently weighted. Equality is redefined. Beauty is a mystery, amorphous, exquisite, shimmering before your eyes. Dreams may be your cues.

In the background, Jupiter in Leo is slowly closing on the marvelous super trine to Uranus in Aries on June 22! If it connects with your chart, in Fire signs there is an undercurrent of excitement, confidence. Challenges will work out, be met. Teaching and learning will be happening all along, go to seminars! Unusual writings may be published. World wide matters will see heroes and heroines. Education for rights, human and animal, are being sounded. Fame and Fortune are possible! Fun and travel. Make university choices by June 22, the exact last aspect, but not during Mercury Retrograde May 18 to June 11. See an astrologer for your personal best dates. The philosophy of a lifetime may be selected.

Make it count because our next super favorable major Jupiter/Uranus combo isn’t until Dec 15, 2019 and it happens only once that time! It is in Earth signs, 2 degrees Capricorn/Taurus. If it doesn’t connect with your chart then, you will have to wait for another 4 years after that!

May your Full Flower Moon Circle be Blessed. Happy Wesak, Namaste.

Taurus New Moon ~ Caput Algol, Mercury Station, Pluto YOD!
Sunday May 17 at 9:18 PM Pacific – 26 Taurus 56

Taurus, Buddhist Woman. Tibetan girl dressed in traditional attire is pictured during 77th birthday celebration of exiled spiritual leader Dalai Lama in Kathmandu.

A Tibetan girl dressed in traditional attire is pictured during the 77th birthday celebration of the exiled spiritual leader the Dalai Lama in Kathmandu, Nepal

Our Taurus New Moon is inconjunct the degree of the Galactic Center and conjunct the Fixed Star Caput Algol! One is as wonderful as the old lore of the other is bad, bad, bad! The Galactic Center is considered a Galaxy Gateway, a point of exchange and huge infusion! It is at 26 Sagittarius, the lucky sign of the Traveler and Teacher! Taurus teaches through Earth wisdom, by connecting through touch, symbolically supporting by planting crops. Taurus teaches the Peace of the Buddha and has body sense through Yoga and organic eating. Inconjunct indicates some kind of a query, a slight disturbance, a course correction.

Old timer astrologers considered Caput Algol, 26 Taurus 23, at worst to be the most dangerous star in the heavens, beheading, the Demon Star. The list of famous people having it strongly in their charts will almost make you a believer. Yet, a binary blinking, pulsating, eclipsing double-star, it is also associated with extreme creativity! There’s hope! At the same time, there is a symbolic constant death/rebirth scenario, that puts you in touch with intense maximum experiences. Burn out or ride it. So this New Moon may be quite more intense than Taurus’s usual calm self. It may be internal or you might need to get out of its way!

New Moons have their own kind of intensity as the two Lights in the heavens conjoin. The dark opens doors to inner realms. There is a quietening so we hear more subtly. This is a late degree stand alone New Moon, stand alone meaning it isn’t connected with other planets. Things are unfettered, clear, concentrated, centered. Things that are ending are blessed and their maturity celebrated. There is always a child quality and super Feminine to New Moons, as Mama Moon, also of Children comes to be with Father Sun. What’s new is begun, honored with initiation. Another way of being with the New Moon is to let things wind down, just stop. Take time out, rest. Let go of old expectations, be thankful for what you have. Taurus can sit like the Buddha or do proactive Tai Chi. Both are totally in tune expressions.

North Node in Libra is now past the exact inconjunct with Neptune in Pisces. It is still conjunct the fixed star Vindemiatrix. See above

Zesty Mars, now in Gemini, is separating the opposition it made with Saturn in Sagittarius the 14th. If that connected with your chart, you will still be working out what it brought. Mars in Gemini is clever indeed, trying to dodge Saturn’s rules, boundaries, may be exhausted from the effort. Yet there are times a steadying force is a relief. Mars in Gemini can just spin, flail about with no direction. Though that kind of freedom can be exhilarating and lead you to amazing ideas, it can get nervous if frightened and forget the objective. Saturn in Sag helps us keep on course, the long term goal in mind. Mars in Gemini is an information gatherer par excellance! Saturn at times gets stuck in its righteous routine, needs a nudge to move along, and with new information comes to life again!

Venus, Taurus’s planet, currently in Cancer, trined Neptune in Pisces the day before! Fresh dreams, spiritual intention, connection with the Masters. You want more than just money. Beauty is etheric. Music and the arts may have been endowed or you resolved to take up dance again! Your home may be ready for a remodel, or smoothies be back on the menu. An altar at home could be inspiring. At this New Moon you could do a dedication circle. You may miss your Mother, love your children more, so proud. You think of Soulmates, give gratitude for your blessings. Anchor them at the New Moon. Give praise.

Mercury is in STATION! That means it appears to be ‘standing still’ in the sky before turning RETROGRADE the NEXT DAY, MAY 18 at 6:50 PM Pacific. Mercury, in one of its own signs, Gemini, is sextile Jupiter, but doesn’t make the exact sextile because of the retrograde! There still is effect because they come within one degree of each other. In fact, they have been in working distance since May 9. There have been numerous ideas, abundant ideas. Learning has been worth it, teaching given, schools selected, plans made. Short journeys are fun. BUT. They will only go so far then abandoned. They may or may not be completed, likely not, or not in the way expected. Signing contracts won’t be enough to hold people to old premises. Don’t hold people to their promises. Probably had best intentions, but the winds are blowing a different direction now. Mercury won’t come back and make that sextile exact until July 3! Lot of water over the dam by then! The amps shall have been upped and what happens then will be amazingly better than what almost happened now. You will be glad after all!

Pluto in YOD, double inconjunct, with Jupiter and Mercury! This is part of a complex planetary pattern that has been with us since February! Jupiter makes its final inconjunct with Pluto May 21, just 4 days after the New Moon! So this New Moon’s new beginnings are crucial to the conclusion of Jupiter with Pluto. Mercury in one of its own signs Gemini, adds it’s communication skills to relay what information it can, but retrogrades before all is complete. It’s as if that’s enough for now, let’s rethink, upgrade, don’t forget what we have done already….

  • Jupiter inconjunct Pluto  Inconjuncts adjust, skew to the side for more awareness and perspective. They can be unsettling, but Jupiter is up for the game, loves a foray! It loves the periphery, looking afar and wide, acquiring an enhanced chest of knowledge. Life is bigger, richer. Pluto in Cap dislikes its routines being upset, but sees the advantages and is on board pretty quickly. See more!
  • Mercury Gemini inconjunct Pluto in Capricorn, won’t make the exact inconjunct with Pluto. There has been inquisitiveness, steady prolonged probing of Pluto’s secrets since the 14th due to Mercury being in Station. But Pluto knows how to hold its own with sniffy Mercury. Mercury could get close, might give old Pluto a shiver, but since Mercury retrogrades, the aspect doesn’t become exact, Pluto is saved! Mercury may try to sign the papers, but they are pulled back, put on hold, likely will be forgotten, even misplaced. Other matters take our attention, causing numerous further shiftings. An alchemy occurs and without realizing, what was, simply is no more. The exact aspect will happen down the road June 28.
Venus in Cancer opposite Pluto in Capricorn does happen! Pluto in Capricorn can at times be a bit gruff, not impressed by fluff. Yet Venus in Cancer is such a Sweetie, a little melting happens, plus, she’s safely on the other side of things, and out of reach too. She’s intuitive and knows how to prod the old wise one, flirts and flatters a bit and might even bring cookies! So he listens in spite of himself, and she’s smarter than he anticipated. She knows cycles, has good business sense, wants to secure the investment, has a sense of long term. There’s history, maybe good breeding. Real estate, restauranting, children’s business and organizations will likely be successful and Pluto may decide to do some funding. Might not be an encouraging start, but stay with it, ask for what you want.

Oppositions do mean letting go, separating, as well. Could be a breakup, no more hypnotism, improper seduction, or being kept by paying your way. Standing back you may wonder what you saw there. Age may be a factor, disparity of goals, children may leave home, you may move. But remember, Mercury is retrograde tomorrow, things will change. You or they may return. If you get a new place or job during the Rx, know that it is likely temporary if a home, the job may change from what was intended.

Chatty Mars in Gemini trine the North Node in Libra is unusually looking forward to socializing, even partnering a bit. He more often happily stands alone, simply responding as inspired, moment by moment. But now, there is the potential of another comrade in arms, one who is supportive and helps with those social graces. It could be one person or an inspiring couple living that way. The more he talks, the more thoughts are linked, the more he sees.

Jupiter in Leo continues to close on the marvelous trine to Uranus in Aries June 22! Performance is like lightning! There is a spark in the air, engagement that warms the heart. Things are bigger and petty differences put in the live and let live category, eccentricities celebrated as gifts! Great numbers of Souls are making change, a wave of Light! See more above

Make it so.

Pisces Equinox Solar ECLIPSE NEW Moon!

Aries Lunar ECLIPSE FULL Pink Moon + Cardinal TSquare!
Aries New Moon ~ Nodes, Venus, Mutual Reception

Pisces to Aries 2015 Equinox New Moon Solar Eclipse - Hands Water Fire Steam

Equinox Total Solar ECLIPSE NEW MOON! Water to Fire!
Friday Mar 20 at 2:36 AM Pacific – 29 Pisces 27

Technically this is a Pisces NEW Moon, but it is happening on Spring Equinox, the day the Sun goes into Aries, from the last sign to the first! It is a time of new beginnings, from water to fire! As we say goodbye and gently release old obscurities, we invite and set our sights on what’s fresh, gleefully rampant, here and now! It’s officially SPRING!

Moon is the go between, lining up with, obscuring the Sun! Though not visible in the Americas, the symbolic Shadow exists. We can see what is hidden by brilliance, subtle forms revealed. They are our cues to look a little more deeply, not judge a book by its cover. Moon is transmitter of Sun’s magnificent Light! Aries, immediately upcoming, is above all, Initiation. It is when the days tip to more hours of Light and sight. It is the place of Sunrise every single day. In Yoga we do the Salutation to the Sun to invite our resonance with Divine Spirit, to be in accord with what’s greater than we are. Infused with purity and clarity, spontaneous action happens in a moment. We ARE the Light!

This is our first Eclipse of 2015 yet the Eclipse degree is the last degree of Pisces, the last degree of the last sign of the Zodiac! Fully mature, there is a transference of indelible Spirit energy, with permeable vapor exchange as the medium, to Aries that will carry the Flame, the Light! Energy will shift from immersion to emergence! Insights, compelling compassion will ignite undaunted action, championing for the underdog, an inspiring call for immediate change! Believing becomes doing.

29 Degrees Pisces is the degree of the Fixed Star Sheat, accidents, floods and shipwrecks. Get out your waders and don’t take silly chances! 29, The last degree, always has a sense of finality about it. What is done is done, time has run out. Celebrate your accomplishments! Plan ahead to have your intentions of this Lunar cycle completed to your satisfaction or as reasonably possible. You are always on Spirit time, and it’s all good. Even the smallest steps can be symbols of great personal accomplishment. Know your own Soul.

This New Moon Eclipse essentially stands alone at that 29 degree marker. It’s closest aspect is an out of sign trine with Saturn in Sagittarius, water to fire. As soon as Sun and Moon finish Pisces, 3:45 PM Pacific, they will then become in sign trine with Saturn, all three then being in fire signs and wanting action. Saturn is politely but staunchly guarding, making sure energy is being specifically and well applied to the long term plan. Aries is more instant, but Saturn wants seeable honorable accomplishment. Saturn is practical, realistically optimistic, not intending to be a damper, but indeed, quite the contrary, happy to see you and work together for great promise! It’s ordained!

Venus in Taurus, one of its own signs, is inconjunct, teasing and tempting old Saturn from the periphery. She soothes the rough edges, wants what she wants, helps stabilize a helpless Old Soul in a Sagittarian chaos of optimism. Saturn has at times felt out of his league, yet sees the benefits of Sag’s ideas and, given time, can make them happen. Venus speaks to the excellent values available, pretties things up. Saturn perseveres, not wasting time. Good team. Venus knows the need for daily comfort, and Saturn can use some admiration for his hard work. So much is expected of him. He’s a little more generous when he experiences appreciation, when he knows what a difference getting it makes.

The long time Uranus square Pluto had it’s final 7th of 7 aspects only 5 days prior, March 16! It is still so close, these outer planets moving very slowly, we are really still very much in it. This Eclipse brings inklings of times to come, opens doors to wellsprings of revelation, puts us in touch with pure source. Like driving a car, once we learn how, we continue. For some of us understanding, visions, come with a good swim, meditation or a deep sleep dream, maybe while chatting with a trusted confidant. Learn your process so it becomes a life tool for you. Earth, then Moon, then Sun are lined up perfectly in this Total Eclipse! Sun is sending his Light through this awesome conduit. Don’t miss it!

Five planet Stellium in Pisces! Mercury YOD  Mercury has just left Neptune, Pisces’ planet. Pisces is ultra sensitive to changes in the valence. Mercury is in an awareness aspect, inconjunct with Jupiter, who has recently been in the same kind of connection with Pluto. And communicator Mercury, more a listener in Pisces, will be in contact with Pluto 1:25 PM Pacific the 22nd. What goes around comes around. Purpose is essential. Mercury will pass that information directly to Chiron now at 18 Pisces. Mercury is now where Chiron was when Jupiter aspected it in the recent Jupiter YOD! Through that teachings can be shared, relationships healed, business infused with more caring.

Pass it on.

Almost Total Lunar ECLIPSE FULL Pink MOON + Cardinal TSquare
Saturday April 4 at 5:05 AM Pacific – 14 Libra 24

For you night sky lovers, the Full Moon Sky map WITH planets! (April below March)

Aries 2015 Lunar Eclipse Full Pink Moon Cherry Blossoms

Beauty be! Pink is a great color. Aries colors are white and red; Pink is their combination! White is for Purity, the first of all the signs, a clean slate. Red is for heart and courage and fast getaways! LOL! It’s a great primary color, the color of action. Libra is the other sign of an Aries Full Moon, this time a Lunar Eclipse! Libra enjoys pastels and flowers and isn’t usually a pushy soapbox type, but would like to find a middle road when possible. But. If necessary, they are great strategists, whether legal or war or chess, and will take point if need be, the darker side of that pastel kicking in. They can be foxy devils, clever as can be, argue both sides AND the middle! Makes your head spin and you never knew what hit you! If there is trouble, they can help, be your champion!

Visible at MOONSET in the Americas! It’s an early watch, the central eclipse at 5 AM Pacific. For your area see this site for Visible Eclipses! Lunar Eclipses have Earth between Moon and Sun, Earth’s shadow falling on Moon. Sun shoots the Light at Earth. Earth filters the energy into the form of a shadow, teleporting the collective human energy of all Souls to the Moon in Libra, sign of relationships. The Shadow energy has all our sorrows, all our bravery and love, our questions and wisdom. The Moon’s Light, being Sun’s reflector, in this case, will emerge giving this profound energy back to Father Sun to burn away the dross, to relight the candles of all our flames in greater Purity, along with a greater capacity to see and learn. Count on it.

This makes the Cardinal TSquare with Pluto all the more potent! We are still not done with that Uranus square Pluto. The Eclipse axis makes a right angle T Square. The Sun is with Uranus, and both Sun and Moon square Pluto at the T point! Cardinal signs want action, get things started!

  • Sun with Uranus and trine Jupiter! Remarkable! Sun in Aries loves/needs independence; Uranus is the planet of Freedom and Friendship! Could be a unique couple, an extraordinary group of freedom fighters traveling to the far reaches of the Planet! Change becomes a personal mission. Wild differences yet a single mindedness of purpose. The mission could be Holy or a lark, like getting away with stealing the plane, a little Robin Hooding! With the Libra Moon in the wings, past alliances may come into play, and there may be more disparity or camaraderie, or both, than expected. Can go either way. A little vacation maybe? Combine robust activity with gracious candlelight dinners.
  • Moon opposite Uranus, sextile Jupiter! Moon in Libra would prefer more gentile friends rather than volcanic upstarts like Sun/Uranus in Aries. Who knows what situation may need to be massaged back into a reasonable facsimile of sanity?! And yet, they understand each other to a degree. Moon loves their family group, and in Libra may be proud of their community standing. Uranus loves their extended family of dear friends that adore each others foibles. Put the right ones together at the right time and we can save the world! Throw in a leader like Jupiter in Leo and voila! We may be at a heartful seminar or a high altitude spa with sublime views that fill you to Infinity! Remember, this is an Eclipse; the gates are open!
    X
  • Sun square Pluto This one makes me tremble a bit. Not likely easy. Sun is in a challenging aspect with Pluto four times a year, but usually not also at an Eclipse. Aries is no coward, but Pluto is an oldtime deeper martial arts warrior anticipating Aries feints and jabs. Pluto can swallow you whole into its underworld, not an Aries element. Aries often goes it independently, where Pluto has its corporate bevy of lawyers, bodyguard, and doesn’t always fight fair. Yet this time, Aries does have the Eclipse to back it up, it’s Uranian friends who can employ out of the box tactics, and the clash may have a resounding Titan effect! It is possible there is no win, but a stand off, not even agreeing to disagree, but they go their own ways, forever, no point to waste time.
    X
In a different example, Pluto in Capricorn may be glad for fresh youthful new Aries blood! Been needed. What was getting stuffy sees new hope and leadership! Yes, it’s different, but it can be tried out bit by bit and integrated safely. The laws may need updating, timing changes can be made, production processes modified. Departments of life and biz can be reshaped into diamonds! Aries is grateful someone is listening and putting them in charge, ha, as it should be. They are learning some tips from the experienced pros though. Not smooth all the time, but worth it. Next!
  • Moon square Pluto Another challenging aspect. Both are sensitive intuitive water planets, nurturers, but Moon is easily hurt, Pluto can be vengeful. And Libra and Capricorn don’t always see eye to eye. Moon in Libra is wanting entertainment at home. Pluto in Capricorn would prefer a private corporate crony golf date or business engagement. Libra is sweet and social; Capricorn can be tough as nails, all and only business. Hard to find time for the kids. However, Libra loves its finery, a lovely home, adornments, spa days, plays and symphonies and Pluto in Cap can give the funds. Libra is proud of their mate’s well earned excellent reputation. Pluto appreciates Moon Libra’s social connections, beauty and keen intelligence. Librans are fine companions and consultants. They quickly find excellent solutions that work for almost everyone. Total asset. Whether business or personal, give each other lots of praise and thanks.

Pluto at the T square point can act as a scanner for Sun and Moon, looking behind the scenes for unorthodox intrigue, romantic or financial, see when to watch your back. It can look for hurt that needs healing, body, mind or Soul. In Capricorn it senses breaks in continuity or rigidity that doesn’t serve. It can add a little grease for the creaky spot. It can let you know when an ending is nigh, when to let go in a good way, take advantage of a last chance. It makes for a stupendous infusion, flavoring the incoming informations with Plutonian power and insight! Pluto is maximum sharing, financial mergers, relationship integrity, life and death. Use your herbs, perfumes, flower essences to invite its potency in a good way!

As a sender, it can be your missionary and guardian in your new prospectus of life! It seeks alliances to establish a secure network. It has a deep charisma that over time proves substantial. Let it do it’s work and compatible connections will be made as it severs some, clearing your channels, finds others on your same wavelength that enhance your channels. It might seem a bit devious at first, the waiting might be nerve wracking. But face up to what’s real and keep moving. Times are shifting.

Mercury semisextile Neptune trine Jupiter! SemiSextiles have more potency than many expect! Mercury is logical, and in Aries is perception at the speed of Light! Neptune sees the whole frame, gives intuitive split second perspective. Pay good attention to what you think you see. First thoughts count. Mercury and Jupiter rule opposite signs Gemini and Sagittarius. It’s one thing to think, another to know the meaning, to have Faith beyond words, and a Plan! Mercury carries ideas and data, while Jupiter in Leo publishes, teaches, lets the world know what’s up! It might be the right time for you to sign a contract. You might make or get big news!

Mars, more gentle in Taurus, is persistently pestering, inconjunct Saturn. As Venus was inconjunct Saturn at the Solar Eclipse, Mars is this Lunar Eclipse. Venus set the stage, created a longing; Mars wants to get it, and is less willing to compromise in the process. Taurus common sense is evident, and, if wise, Saturn takes steps to get things rolling.

Use flowers in your Full Moon gathering ceremony this time! Think pink!

Happy Good Friday, Passover, and Easter to you who celebrate them.

Aries NEW Moon ~ Nodes, Venus, Mutual Reception
Saturday April 18 at 11:57 AM Pacific – 28 Aries 25

StarWatcher by legendary Jean "Moebius" Giraud, reminds me of a certain saucy innocence of astrological sign Aries!
StarWatcher by legendary Jean “Moebius” Giraud, French artist, cartoonist, and writer, who worked in the Franco-Belgian bandes dessinées tradition.

This New Moon stands alone too, as did the Pisces Solar Eclipse! At 28 degrees, it doesn’t engage any other planets. This can be a purity, untainted effect or reception, unstoppable. It could be isolated and unintegrated. It may mean inspiration comes but is on hold. No planets but the Moon will be activating this point by conjunction for a long time! Most of the planets that would ‘catch up’ are slow moving outer planets. The first planet to activate this point by conjunction will be the Sun on April 17, 2016, one day off an exact year from the date of the New Moon!

Mercury conjunct Mars the Planet of Aries  Generally we think of Mercury/Mars combinations as a quick and done temper, but, in Taurus, Mercury is pondering while Mars is holding steady. If in agreement, Mercury is so pleased Mars makes its thoughts come true! If they do get into a snit, it might be memorable and they may dig in, stubborn in attachment to their point of view. Go easy and take hug breaks. Being grounded is essential. Touching what you are thinking about helps make it real, to ‘know’ it. No amount of pushing will speed this combo up. They like the pace they are moving at. Yet, Mercury is nimble and curious; Mars is still out in front even if leading from behind. Simple uncostly solutions become obvious. Values become tangible. People can take time out and just breathe. Ideas bubble to the surface in this relaxed environment. Bring the outdoors indoors; put flowers by the door….

Three planets and North Node at 8/9 degrees.

The North Node is at the point of a YOD (where two of the purple lines come to a point) with Mercury and Neptune, they being sextile (60 degrees). The North Node is considered by many to be a Karmic point, meaning it has deep meaning to the Soul’s process. The South Node, at the opposite point, is thought to represent our Past, for better or worse. What we did there (Past Lifetimes), we over did, under did, did really all too well. Often we have super skills there. The North is where we need to learn how to better do that sign to bring balance. We may feel a bit scared to go there since it is unstable ground as yet.

  • Mercury inconjuncts the North Node first from the symbolic Virgo side, then the symbolic Scorpio side each year. At the New Moon it is on the Scorpio side, in the sign Taurus, Scorpio’s opposite sign. Values are deeply noted and absorbed into the mind. They will have staying power. Mysteries will be revealed and healed as if a concentrated beam is upon them. There could be an abiding Peace within. Since the Nodes are on a 19 year cycle, there won’t be another Mercury inconjunct at this degree for 19 more years. This Peace with what IS, may calm, even becalm, the Libra North Node’s wishes for relationship as had been thought to be what should be. Time may seem to stand still for a bit. It may be realized that relationship is specific like snowflakes, each unique as the people who form them, forming a third energy, the Union of the bond only they two can make.
  • Neptune in Pisces inconjuncts from the Virgo side of the North Node. Again there is an unstated opposition since Pisces is Virgo’s opposite sign. Neptune has utmost compassion when it is healthy of Spirit. It would do anything it could to bring you that balance you are seeking, the good relationship with yourself, with a special mate if you wish. Healing may come from spiritual practice, nature’s remedies, changing the way you think.

This New Moon in Aries, and the Nodes Aries to Libra, show us that Independence has its merits, and so do healthy mutually supportive relationships. There are times it doesn’t make sense to go it alone. Sharing is more safe in dangerous places. Harsh winters are better weathered together. Partners see our blind spots. Two can do more than one when in alignment. And making love….

Venus trine the North Node in Libra, one of Venus’ signs! Venus in Gemini of Twins points to twosomes too. We thrive when appreciated, touched with affection. Advertising lets people know what we have of value to share. Siblings can bless us with their loving us, foibles and all. Grace flows.

Mercury Taurus semisextile mutual reception Venus Gemini  April 15 to 30, while Mercury is in Taurus, Mercury and Venus are in each others signs, these only a sign apart. Mini same degree aspects like this are especially potent when in mutual reception. Mercury is calmed in Taurus, more patient, stays with the topic, absorbs and grows to appreciate what it sees. Venus values communications. It makes what it talks about seem very valuable; you need it, want it, jewels in the crown! Venus wants to let people know about it! Cherishing words enfold us sweetly. In a good way, we can speak with Grace.

Venus square Neptune  Everything you see is not always exactly as it appears! Some things are downright unknowable. Venus goes a little crazy, trying from every angle to figure it out, but Neptune has no trouble putting up the veils and slithering off into oblivion. Or so it ‘appears!’ Who knows where the Dragon went?! Sleight of spiritual hand. Nothing will be known until the right time though we may be treated to glimpses…. Losses, longings unfulfilled, may feel more poignant for a few days. You or leaders may lose faith or be proven false or falsely accused. Let go for a few days; give it some time. The channel will change soon….

Venus sextile Jupiter This is the 4th aspect with Venus! Love and beauty are up! This aspect is loving and lucky, building to exact 11:41 AM Pacific on the 22nd! Since it is the last of the set, the outcome is likely positive! Yes! Venus in Gemini has a large chat penchant! Jupiter in Leo gives plenty to chat about! Jupiter magnanimously likes to share, teach, go places together and Venus in Gemini won’t be bored! Jupiter swoops her under his arm and loves his bright little companion. They have literally rich ideas, facts and proposals sparkling with promise! Venus has the right words; Jupiter has the confidence and the big ideas. Worth the adventure! Romance may happen along the way!

Jupiter turned Direct (forward) April 8 and is now back within 3 degrees of, approaching its final exact inconjunct with Pluto May 21. See all about that!

Have a zesty yet gentle good time!

Grand Water Trine - Jupiter Cancer, Saturn Scorpio, Neptune Pisces!

Now that April’s mega Cardinal Grand Square is over, a beautiful Grand Water Trine is coming. It’s a perfect follow up. The mega Square was afoot since January, 4 months! It’s last day was April 23. In the next days, months, for some, we will be integrating the events of what happened. May brings a softening, flow, boundless seeking, synthesis, empathy.

Water has always been a mystical force, continually changing form…. Baptism, San Francisco fogs, Tsunamis, ice in the Arctic, clear waters in a lagoon, magnificent falls. It might be up your nose, in your bubble tub, across the road, scuba or surfing, your summer drink.  As horses have carried us overland, water carries us continent to continent. Air holds the airship afloat; water holds up the fisher boats and liners.

Empathy is one of water’s prime qualities. There are three water signs, each holding precious connection, the Mother, the Lover/Healer, the Savior.

  • Cancer: A Mother understands her child like no other. They were one at one time.
  • Scorpio: You and your mate, you and your therapist, have an adult empathy. Healers will help you no matter who you are.
  • Pisces: The Minister, spiritual Masters, know the matters of the Soul and Humankind.

May 4 to 24 If you allow 5 degrees range for outer planets to have effect with each other in trines, May 4, Jupiter starts in connection with both Chiron and Saturn! There is no exact connection of the three planets, but the trines are within close degrees of each other. May 14, on the day of the Full Flower Moon, Wesak, Jupiter trines Chiron at 17 degrees; May 24, Mars now moving forward, Jupiter trines Saturn at 18 degrees. Later, June 12, for the 4th time, Saturn trines Chiron at 17 degrees, finishing this set.

Water Signs start with Cancer, mountain rivulets, creeks, lakes and ponds, shore side houseboats. Scorpio is the mighty rivers, the arteries of a nation, trade along their banks. Pisces is surfing the massive world oceans, harbor communities, huge cruise ships, fishing industries. We start with nurturing at Mom’s breast, warm and snugly, and move toward worldwide assimilation, a gathering of Souls.

  • Fiery Jupiter in Cancer is great for women, homes, children, education. Growth in the face of difficulty is navigated quite intuitively. Improving our abilities to hold a more respected place, surpassing traditional roles is being done. Women in burkas, like Malala, are asking questions. The vigilante activist Gulabi women in India are taking a stand, 20,000 members strong! Men and women in same sex relationships are asking for equality. The first Mongolian girl, 13 year old Ashol-Pan, is being trained to be a Golden Eagle huntress. Pets are becoming to be considered part of our families.
  • Earthy Saturn in Scorpio at 19 degrees. In Horary astrology, this 19th degree was considered to be the most ‘dread degree’ of the zodiac. These days we take it in stride. Saturn in Scorpio alone is considered a tough placement. Hard on love, finances, sometimes even health. But it also matter of factly takes charge of things people are afraid of. It’s a tough job, but somebody’s gotta do it, and they do, and well! Kudos. Saturn builds, Scorpio resurrects, restores, heals. What looked impossible is transformed, and like a renovation, becomes quite more valuable. Time may or may not be on your side, but use it wisely as you can. The payoff may not be immediate or what it should be, but wait for it, your efforts will have their rewards in the long term, best as they can be. Establish your foundation securely. Call on the Great Guardian for protection.
  • Chiron in Pisces is at times a suffering, but also healing. Just being able to name our pain gives us a chance to put it in the light of day, inquire about, hire, get the help we need. We earn our stripes through experience, become the compassionate teacher. The Magi astrologers claim Chiron is the #1 marriage factor in astrology. In Pisces, it would be more a spiritual SoulMate union of Souls. And as we bring our arts and talents to the table, it is more than camaraderie, it has business partnership potential as well!

What a wise triad of powers. Jupiter confidently sees the potential, plans, educates for success. Chiron sees possible problems, and knows how to minimize the rifts and unify through natural mutual purpose. Saturn keeps focus on the goal, works hard keeping priorities, stays on time, keeps the money where it does the most good. Very productive. Spiritually accurate. It’s a grand combo of magic and grit!

Dates along the Grand Trine period…

  • May 9 Moon in Virgo and Sun in Taurus, Earth Signs, activate the Grand Water Trine making, by my standards, an almost Grand Sextile! Earth and water are quite fertile together. Plant some new seeds in your life.
  • May 10 the Sun makes his annual opposition Saturn. That means we on Earth will be between them! Saturn will be at his closest and brightest, the most easy to see in 2014! Father Sun and Father Time are facing off, but being furthest apart, able to get a better perspective of each other, are more comfortable to allow differences. Sun is Creator, Saturn the Sustainer.
  • May 19, Mars Directs the last day of Taurus! See more! Do a little pirouette and dance it forward!

Though Grand Trines are considered lucky in themselves, there are challenging aspects along the path of this one and concurrent in the GT Midpoint chart below. For long term projects, be sure they are water oriented and in harmony with the Grand Trine planets. Be sure the transit planets are in harmony with your personal chart planets. See your astrologer to get the complete picture!

May 20, in the last hours of Taurus, Jupiter is at the midpoint of the Grand Trine, equidistant between Chiron and Saturn. Midpoints are considered to be potent, the maximum potential exchange, fusion, a tight knit merging of forces!

Wash your Spirit clean. Be released, refreshed and flowing. Give gratitude for the blessings to come!

Taurus Full Flower Moon Vietnam

NEW MOON, SOLAR ECLIPSE
April 28 at 11:14 PM Pacific! It’s at 8 Taurus 52

See  FULL Moon

This is our second eclipse of 2014’s four, our first Solar Eclipse! Astronomically an anannular eclipse is when a narrow ring of the Sun is visible beyond the dark mask of the Moon. But NASA says ‘This particular eclipse is rather unusual because the central axis of the Moon’s antumbral shadow misses Earth entirely while the shadow edge grazes the planet. Classified as a non-central annular eclipse, such events are rare. Out of the 3,956 annular eclipses occurring during the 5,000-year period -2000 to +3000, only 68 of them or 1.7% are non-central.’ It won’t be visible at all to the Americas.

Earth, Moon, then Sun, are lined up, but not quite. It’s not a pat hand. There’s an aside, a slight hint, an almost. Off kilter, there is a curiosity, a priming of future consideration, perhaps a seed of longing starts. With both Moon and Sun together in Taurus, the desire may grow stronger over time. Taurus is fertile and loyal, steady, even determined. When it sees an intrinsic worth, beauty being born, it dedicates itself to providing what’s needed, a constant tending even if gains are slow. There is a touching tenderness and patience. At times, the Master is surpassed and left behind. Be ready for that.

Taurus rules our body in general, our neck and throat, the timbre of our voice in particular. Many Tauruses have the endurance to be celebrities, are incredibly attractive, and have lovely voices! With few exceptions, they love being touched, pet, and if it’s right, kiss them on the neck, and they are yours! At a deeper level, Taurus seeks true lasting value. Many understand the simple naturalness of things, take the good with the bad, equally, time for all seasons. One way or another, they are in beauty industries, making life good, and comfortable too.

This Eclipse is at 8 degrees Taurus. Eight is a mystical number, the Infinity Degree. There is no end, but there is a center. Two loops are joined, there is exchange of separate integrities. Each impinges on the other, each moving forward, dependent to a degree on the other’s progress. In some instances it is like being ‘one.’ Our Soul chooses its bindings. When we see ‘interlocked’ Souls, much spiritual work is being done, for we always are conscious of the other persons’ doings. We must constantly consider them and we see them considering us. It can go from hate to celebration, back and forth, until we get it.

Moon and Sun have most recently sextiled Neptune at 7 Pisces. Neptune is in its own sign, oceanic Pisces. It is amorphous, ungovernable. There are constant tides yet it is unpredictable. There are vast uninterrupted distances, unseeable depths, creatures of dreams. It can be deafeningly quiet, or roaring with a tsunami storm! If Pisces is the sea, then Taurus is perhaps the sandy shoreline. Earth and water are mingled, moving together as one, one supporting, the other shapeshifting. Earth lifts up, water only goes so far. Taurus stabilizes; Neptune dissolves then puts it back, resculpting the line. Neither really minds, it’s natural, cleansing and creative….

Mars, still retrograde, goes back to 9 Libra, staying there from May 8, turning direct the last day of Taurus, May 19, going to 10 Libra June 1. It will reactivate two of the outer Cardinal Grand Square planets, square Pluto June 14, oppose Uranus June 25. It doesn’t catch up fast enough to square Jupiter while Jupiter is still in Cancer. Grand Square reminders will be felt those two periods in June. Keep your mind and actions clean. Stand up for yourself in a good way.

Mars figures in this chart because it is inconjunct Mercury, and Mercury is with the Eclipse, within one degree of where the Cardinal Grand Square was. It is carrying the story forward, patiently exploring and collecting further data, sorting its importance. Mercury pays attention, thinks things over. Mars in Libra wants fair play in relationships, to have equality, to take action to that effect. Mars has a hard time waiting, but Mercury in Taurus offers simple but valuable ideas that calms Mars. It knows that it is worth the wait for all the facts to be in and have good timing to deliver. If Mercury is too, too slow, Mars may spring, and what will be, will be!

The most intense time of the  big Cardinal Grand Square is over. We are working our way down to this New Moon/Eclipse stillness, after what has been a furor for some. Letting the dust settle, there is a recentering, letting things relax and fall into a new more workable order. An abiding peace is possible.

FULL FLOWER MOON, WESAK
May 14 at 12:16 PM Pacific – 23 Scorpio 55

You will be able to see Moon with Saturn at Moonrise, though it was earlier in the day that Mother Moon made her own little eclipse by lining up between Earth and Saturn. That’s called an Occultation. It can be thought of as Moon being go-between, sender of info to space, receiver being infused. Moon and Saturn are of opposite signs Cancer and Capricorn, Mother, Father. One is emotional, the other scientific. One nurtures, the other is the authority, disciplinarian. Many single parents today play both roles by necessity. Sweet lullabies at bedtime, guardian and breadwinner by day.

Saturn and Moon both have flavors of the Past, whether reincarnation memories, karmic commitments, cultural patterns of our ancestors. Having consciousness of our place in our relationships, our need to be our unique Self, and the same need in others, helps us weave a new bigger, more generous community of alliances. Time and age change things, and one day we see that change in ourselves. We became another person. Our children become different than we are. Evolution is natural and inevitable.

Insight from the Occultation will guide us to a possibly profound experience of holding on while letting go at the Full Moon moments. Taurus and Scorpio are what we call Fixed Signs. They stabilize, but at times stay long after they should have let go. There are things we must cherish rightfully and hold fast, not neglect. Others have outgrown their time, and our tired place there is perhaps hindering further growth. This will be a time to assess that condition as concerns parents, children, bonded relationships.

Wesak, Spiritual sustainability. In our mind’s eye, we think of Buddha sitting, not standing, or in a crowd of people, lecturing or laying on of hands. It’s our simple personal connection with Spirit that is being courted. Simple, in the sitting, perhaps, though who know what our monkey mind conjures in there. But lining up those chakras in a balanced vertical flow, lighting them up, is a powerful achievement. Think of Enlightenment as a verb! It’s not just a single moment, but a turned on living entity! Once the Lights are on, there is no going back. In Nepal, Buddha’s birthplace, this Full Moon, called Wesak, is celebrated as the Buddha’s Birthday.

A little story for you from Wiki: It is said that the Buddha originally followed the way of asceticism to attain enlightenment sooner, as was thought by many at that time. He sat for a prolonged time with inadequate food and water, which caused his body to shrivel so as to be indistinguishable from the bark of the tree that he was sitting under. Seeing the weak Siddhartha Gautama, a girl named Sujata placed a bowl of milk in front of him as an offering. Realising that without food one can do nothing, the Buddha refrained from harming his own body. ~ Please be good to yours, in all ways.

Fixed Star Spica is connected even more closely with this Full Moon than it was with last month’s Lunar Eclipse! It is at 23 Libra, the SAME DEGREE AS THE FULL MOON AXIS! If you can see her, she will be the blue star, the brightest star in constellation Virgo, considered the most benefic of all the fixed stars. Per Astrotheme: ‘Spica, the Ear of the Wheat [Virgin’s Spike], gives a taste for the countryside, or for arts related to products of the earth. It endows with sculpture talents, as well as an inclination for agriculture and cooking. It brings success, riches, love for the arts and science, erudition, and precision.’ Kenneth Johnson says ‘Hindu tradition asserts that natives of Spica are elegant, charming, charismatic, sensual, seductive, creative, clever, and excellent conversationalists, though with a tendency to be self-centered or shallow.’ In horary astrology, old traditional astrology, ‘Spica is traditionally considered as an oasis of good fortune in the otherwise parched path (Via Combusta) from 15 degrees Libra to 15 degrees Scorpio.’ From July 25th, 2012 until January 2014, Spica was in a series of 21 occultations [eclipses] by our Moon. Fully Spica infused, our Moon is traveling on, though still in the glow.

JUPITER TRINE CHIRON is the most long term aspect of the day and is the first of the two aspects forming the Grand Water Trine! Jupiter is teacher, traveler, wayshower, oracle. The Pilgrimage has been troubled these last few years, but we are finding our way, opening to new channels. Chiron was the leader of the centaurs, Jupiter’s horsey pals. He knew a good time, but also suffered, wounded. Not forgiven, he had to learn how to do with what he had. He bestowed his healing teachings on Aesculapius, the Greek Medicine God. To this day we use Aesculapius’ serpent entwined staff as a symbol of uplifted energy. May you find your way too, whether you walk with Buddha or the Greek Gods, or both!

Venus and Mars are graced in Mutual Reception, in each other’s signs. May 11 Pacific zone, they opposed each other, linking their energies. Venus and Libra are known for not wanting to hurt anyone’s feelings and at times being indecisive. Mars and Aries have no such failing. They are quick to take a stand and let the chips fall where they may. Venus asks for a gentler manner, mercy and kindness, while Mars pushes us to get on with it soonest for the best of all!

Though that culmination of energy has passed, Venus has carried it forward with her to the degree of April’s Cardinal Grand Square/Cross! She is now conjunct Uranus, the core planet of that Cross! The Cross lives yet! Mars stokes the fires; Venus adorns the changes with her blessings. We want the future’s offerings! Freedom is a mighty attractive commodity! We have the option to connect with spirited new friends who cheer us on. We feel able to change, comforted when old doubts seem to bar our way, new beginnings are actually made as we surge over the brink! Might be a tad clumsy at first, or off kilter, but the imbalance is exactly what’s needed to notice what’s new and aside, available for the remix. We’re delighted how we surprise ourselves!

Mercury too is potently in close degrees with Uranus and Pluto, the core planets of April’s Cardinal Grand Square. Mercury and Venus are making exact aspects the day of and day after the Full Moon.

Full Moon day, Venus and Uranus are square Pluto, Venus making the exact square 10:47 AM Pacific, before the Full Moon. Venus and Pluto rule Libra and Scorpio, relationship signs. Libra is social, considerate, multi-cultural. Scorpio has its secrets, is deeply intimate, prefers behind the scenes business negotiations. Both Venus and Pluto rule money. Venus is your own; Pluto is what you share with your mate, or the mortgage you hold together with the bank. Financial matters and the state of your Union are under scrutiny, tests of trust.

  • 5.15.14 Venus is conjunct the outer planet Uranus, that was at the T point of the 3 outer planets in the Cardinal Grand Square of April 20 to 23. Uranus loves freedom, change, difference. In Aries, just multiply that! Are you free to be in a relationship? Has it been a long time? Are you bound by hypnotic or necessary conditions? Is your community supportive, new friends going to last? Take it easy, don’t burn any bridges just yet, unless you have been building courage and you are finally doing what you should have! If you will be going to a place that will be hard to live up to or maintain, be sure to get a support team out there ahead of you, a safety net you can depend on.
  • 5.15.14 Mercury sextiles Venus and Uranus in the afternoon. There are opportunities to talk things up! Do some networking, marketing. Chance some exciting new connections! Let people know some of your new ideas. If they are inventions, protect them first, because they are good ones! Mercury is in one of its own signs, Gemini, so some of the ideas may be about communications itself! Venus is valuable. Uranus is on fire, genius, is a hot new computer, and in Aries, has mechanics that makes things work like a flash! And it’s light weight.
  • 5.15.14 Near Midnight, Moon, now in Sagittarius, trines Uranus! You can see it is a Uranian day! Moon is intuitive, whimsical, pure Child, the Queen of the Tides of Time! Uranus is the planet of awakening, evolution, the Master of Unpredictable. What amazing ideas, possibilities! Moon on the far side of the Sun, is loose, and now in Sagittarius, ready to travel. Uranus rules the heavens. No telling how far they will go! Here on Earth, it is a grand time to lay out some plans. The Full Moon bloomed like a wide open flower, spread her wings and flew low over the great river. She could smell the water, hear its song, see the lights. She followed the channel, then crossed huge meadows and over tall trees, could see the deer….

Mars is in station, at 9 degrees Libra, turning direct in 5 days, May 19. Stationary is still, in a holding pattern, release is immanent. Poise is a sublime talent. Allow that pause, learn the nature of the threshold to be crossed. In Libra there is a focus on balance, knowing spiritual law, the skill of letting respectful differences coexist. There is time to get acquainted. No starting blocks this time. Be ready to take off at a dog trot, less work, more savoring what’s good in our alliances along the way.

Eclipse Annular 'Ring of Fire' New Moon

Sunday Nov 3, 4:50 AM Pacific, NEW Moon, Rare Hybrid Eclipse at 11 Scorpio 16!

This Eclipse is during Mercury retrograde in Scorpio and follows the Oct 28 Chiron sextile Pluto, Halloween’s Mars trine Pluto, and the Nov 1 fourth Uranus square Pluto!
See all about them in the Scorpio Newsletter!

  • Mercury will be secretly looking at the chances of several options, none of which will likely make the final cut, but they are definitely intriguing.  Maybe later on.
  • Pluto, Scorpio’s planet, has just gotten action from three planets – Chiron, Mars, Uranus, setting the stage for the Eclipse!!
  • In spite of difficulties, Chiron has offered healing, and possible business opportunities.
  • Mars, used to rule Scorpio, now Pluto does.  Mars is Pluto’s ally and champion at this time.  Pluto in Capricorn is more careful these days, knowing there could be long term payback, karmic debts incurred.  Mars in Virgo has had devilishly quick insights, that sees the patterns clearly and has set Pluto free from some of his concerns.  There are fruitful new ways to use the money.  Relief.
  • The Uranus square Pluto has been with us since 2010 causing all kinds of economic and political upheaval.  It is now at stage 4, of 7.  We are used to it, but this is the tipping point!  There are fewer aspects still to come than we have already done!  Uranus, the ChangeMaker, Awakener, has brought sweeping challenges; Pluto in Capricorn has done its best to manage them.  No surprise one of the biggest counties in the world shut its government down – the polarity is Uranus the genius wildcard futurist and Pluto the conservative controller in Capricorn.  In various ways, both are right.  And, typically, when things go fast, the one scared to move with the flow, digs in their heels.

The US government was back up with the Full Moon Eclipse, and now is on the waning, finishing cycle, much to be done for recovery, laying in a better foundation, roots.  The New Moon Eclipse ends one phase, begins the renewing of Light, now growing above ground for all to see, partake.

This eclipse is a Hybrid and quite rare because it begins with annularity and ends with totality.  Not a surprise that it is hybrid.  Many people are left with deeply passionately split opinions after the government shutdown.   Worldwide, a few will see the annular eclipse, then a very brief total eclipse.  For others it will be Annular, like in the eastern US – the Moon is at its furthest from Earth so appears smaller, hence the ‘Ring of Fire’ effect!  Those of us west won’t see it at all.  Sky & Telescope details!

At eleven degrees Scorpio, the Hybrid will be two degrees of Saturn, planet of Karma and Dharma!  Saturn is not usually in favor of hybrids, too unstable, especially when in Scorpio, a fixed sign that also likes things to stay the way they are.  But Scorpio and Saturn both have to do with natural endings.  They understand life’s realities, so they don’t fight it.  Scorpio is the psychic surgeon, so if the chance is offered, it may try to excise and cauterize the wound if there is a reasonable chance resurrection will work.  Both understand wearing out, breaks and renovation, are adept at rebuilding clean, better than ever.  If it can’t be fixed, they won’t waste your time, often abruptly calling it quits.  That can be tough if it involves your love life or the life of a loved one.

Career matters may be briefly eclipsed, or permanently overridden by a ‘louder event.  Or they may be focused on at a deep level, never to be the same afterwards.  Mars has an important place with the New Moon.  It sextiles the New Moon potently within 4 minutes of space (not degrees!)!  Since Moon and Sun are so close to Saturn, Mars sextiles Saturn too, willing to work hard!  The Sun will conjunct Saturn the 6th – serious and personal. Mars will make the exact sextile the 9th.  Each will carry on the work for several more days after the Eclipse!  This offers new options if you pay attention to details, offer a volunteer hand that could become a job, take steps to better health, making more things possible!  It may become a profound work that becomes closely tuned to your life’s Dharma, the work of your Soul!  Scorpio seeks perfection!

Scorpio Eclipse New Moon 2013 Astrology Chart

Sunday Nov 17, 7:16 AM Pacific, Full Moon at 25 Taurus 26

This Full Moon is the reverse of May’s Moon in Scorpio opposite the Sun in Taurus.  That moon is called Wesak by some spiritual communities, celebrated by most Buddhists as the Buddha’s birthday, and, for other Buddhists, marks Buddha’s enlightenment and death.  In astrology, humble Taurus, one who sits, centers, grounds, there is super awareness of body, a sensitivity so great so as to be able to perceive enlightenment, have peace, be one with Nature and animals.  The decision to be with their Beloved is based on a duration of true insight, is deeply loyal because of the depth of the seeing, is patient as it understands and accepts imperfection as well as perfection.

For some, the April Full Moon is the festival of the Christ Love, May is the Buddha Love/Wisdom, and June is Gemini, the Word of Humanity.  Our Full Moon now is half way, at the apex, of the Love/Wisdom cycle.  While Taurus Moon observes, stabilizes, Scorpio Sun roots out, heals what can be, discards or recycles the leavings.  It turns the soil, bringing fertile, forgotten possibilities to the surface.  As the days get shorter, more time is spent in the zone of the Dark, the Underworld, secret passions are coming alive again.  Find ways to add them in this time, befriend their friends, integrate in remarkable ways for greater return in every dimension!

In our recent Hybrid Eclipse, Mars in Virgo sextiled Saturn, the TaskMaster, got a lot done!  Mars has moved forward now to sextile Jupiter of Fame and Fortune, celebration!  Usually a traveler, Jupiter in Cancer may choose more to stay home, fix up the homestead, get organized.  You could travel in a home – the houseboat or camper, or travel to where your ancestors lived, especially on the Matriarchal side.  Mars in Virgo is ever sensible, so you better get the best buy tickets and stay in budget whatever you do!  Mars would like it if you could take a business trip and write off the seminar expenses, travel on the side.  Virgo is the number one sign of authors, and though Mars hates sitting still, if you are writing something exciting, to you, you could get tons written in a very short time.  Jupiter can take it to the publisher!  If it is about women, families, a health food cookbook with recipes from your very own garden, homes, do it yourself ventures, amazing pets, stories that evoke powerful feelings, it’s likely a winner.

The second close aspect unique to this chart is Venus’s upcoming sextile to Saturn.  So as masculine Mars was sextile Saturn during the Eclipse, he is followed by feminine Venus in Capricorn.  Mars and Saturn worked like dogs, got the main structure in place.  Venus in Cap knows the value of structure, plus, the finishing touches that make it irresistible!  She puts the covers on the sofa, selects the color of paint for the wall, the drapes for the windows, gets the curl in your hair, buys makeup for success!  Venus in Capricorn can be a shrewd buyer, finding long lasting materials at the right price, adds the touch that sells your product, knows where and who to market to.  She has a keen eye for old things that can be refurbished for little expense.  For those of you who love thrift shop foraging, Venus in Capricorn, sextile Cap’s planet Saturn, is like double lucky cheap deals (completes the aspect Saturday the 23rd)!!  Good luck hunting!

From Divinity to Daily, set your sights high and wide, dial up your detectors.  An inch of well placed effort can BE a mile of money and sweet rewards!
