Perhaps you have heard of Faith Hill. She’s an unusual Virgo and there are reasons for that. Primarily she started as a country singer. Born Sept 21, 1967, we don’t have a birthtime for her, but she does have Pluto, Uranus and her Sun together in Virgo. Uranus is singers and Pluto is wealth. She has sold over 40 million albums and accumulated 11 number one singles on the Country charts. Uranus rules the world at large, and Pluto takes it to the extreme!
She has Jupiter and Venus together in Leo. She’s golden with the classic chocolate brown eyes, though at times the camera picks up a beautiful hazel color just like my Virgo Aunt Ruth had. She has golden hair and often dresses gold. Golden gowns and lots of shiny, just like the Sun, Leo’s ‘planet,’ a shining star!
Faith’s romantic Leo planets have brought her a most unusual success! She is super successful making adoring duets with her husband Tim McGraw, a looker in his own right! They make it a rule not be be apart more than 3 days at a time.
She has come a long way. Adopted. Quit college, was discovered after some time at Nashville. Her Moon in Taurus gives more good looks, a sensuous voice, and perseverance. She has lots of records, both numbers of records sold, and has set some records! The song ‘Wild One,’ on her first album, made her the first female country singer in 30 years to hold Billboard’s #1 position for four consecutive weeks! When she followed her album Faith with Breathe, it debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard Country and all genre charts, ahead of albums by Mariah Carey and Savage Garden. “The Way You Love Me” hit the top ten as well (#6), and became one of the longest running singles in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 (57 weeks)! The album won all kinds of awards!
Hill has been honored by the Country Music Association, the Academy of Country Music, the Grammy Awards, the American Music Awards and the People’s Choice Awards and so many more in so many ways. In 2001 she was named one of the 30 most powerful women in America by Ladies Home Journal.
Classic Virgo book lover! Hill used her 1999 tour to support a national children’s book drive. Fans who donated books at one of her concerts were entered into a drawing to meet her personally after the show. The effort resulted in the donation of 35,000 children’s books, which were distributed to hospitals, schools, libraries, and daycare centers in 40 cities across the United States.
Hero and Heroine! True to the community planet Uranus conjunct Faith’s sun, in the days immediately following Hurricane Katrina, Hill and her husband, who was raised in Louisiana, joined groups taking supplies to Gulfport, Mississippi. The two also hosted several charity concerts to benefit those who were displaced by the storm. Later in the year the couple established the Neighbor’s Keeper Foundation, which provides funding for community charities to assist with basic humanitarian services in the event of a natural disaster or for desperate personal circumstances.
Their Soul2Soul II Tour 2006 became the highest grossing country music tour ever with a gross of $90 million. It was named “Major Tour of the Year” by the prestigious Pollstar Magazine, beating out such heavyweights as Madonna and the Rolling Stones. In a special gesture, the couple donated all of the profits from their performance in New Orleans to Hurricane Katrina relief.

Virgo 2017 – 2018 Celestial Highlights!
Moon near Saturn and Antares on August 29!
Use the Moon to find Saturn, the 6th planet outward from the sun. Saturn now shines in front of the constellation Ophiuchus, of the sometimes called the forgotten constellation of the zodiac. Find out more about Ophiuchus on our Tonight post for August 13.
Saturn is the most distant world that you can easily see with the unaided eye. Moreover, you can view Saturn’s majestic rings with nothing more than a modest backyard telescope. Even though the four outer planets (planets orbiting the sun outside the asteroid belt) – Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune – have a ring system of sorts, Saturn’s rings are the most spectacular by leaps and bounds.
This year, in 2017, the north side of Saturn’s rings are maximally tilted toward Earth. So right now is a great time to dust off that telescope and gaze at Saturn, the crown jewel of the solar system.

Outer Planet Transits with Virgo 2017- Aug 2018!
The super amazing Aug 21 US Total Solar Eclipse in Leo catapulted us into Sun in Virgo Aug 22! What an entry! The 5 part Lunar sequence linked with the Mercury Retrograde cycle is finishing with Virgo’s New and Full Moons!
October 23 2016 started a whole new round of SIX aspects through Dec 31 that are the primary aspects of 2017! We had Jupiter inconjunct Neptune, Jupiter square Pluto ThanksGiving Day, Nov 24! The ‘Holiday Four, plus the very close Jupiter sextile Saturn, that happened the last 8 days of 2016.
The first outer planets aspect of 2017, the Valentine’s Day Jupiter inconjunct Chiron, started the 2017 retrograde set of the SIX aspects in reverse order through May 18. The final set of six started July 4. September 23 and 27 Jupiter inconjuncts Chiron and opposes Uranus, Oct 10 Jupiter enters Scorpio! Nov 2 Saturn squares Chiron, and the entire set finishes 11/11 with Saturn trine Uranus! That’s a go ahead!
Jupiter is in its final 49 days of Libra, enters Scorpio Oct 10! Time to find good footing and balance to make and weather relationships. Four outer planets, Uranus, Chiron, Saturn and Jupiter, are changing signs in Virgo’s year to come. Expect several maturities, endings, new beginnings and exciting new intentions!
Pluto in Capricorn reaches the beginning of the last third of Capricorn May 2018 moving from 16 to 21 degrees. Pluto is Scorpio’s planet and in Capricorn is in a harmonious sextile sign, an earth and water mix. A darn good business person estimating time and money to the inch! Pluto and Capricorn are both harmonious with Virgo, another earth sign. Pluto and Virgo are both perfectionists and hard workers. Pluto can take it to extremes. This is one rare instance when Virgo may put on the brakes! Virgo is a fine craftsman, uses the best materials. Capricorn goes for durability, strength and protection and is willing to forfeit some details to get the job in on time. Pluto and Virgo are both healers. Capricorn bides his time, steps in when the time is right. Expect some sifting away the chaff.
Neptune is in its own sign, a water Planet in the last water sign seeking a deeper side of life. Neptune is oceanic – is still like glass becalmed, has forever tidal cycles, titanic storms, tsunamis! Those of you with chart factors between 11 and 16 degrees will be activated with this pure energy. Pisces is opposite Virgo. Virgo heals the body and Mind while Pisces heals the Soul. Virgo seeks data that explains and procedures that makes sense. Pisces goes way beyond that into an inexplicable greater realm, seeing what may happen that makes no logic but comes to pass anyway. The Soul has its own course. Sometimes we understand; sometimes there is a greater picture that is more important, operates in a different order than reason. Those of you with factors in these last degrees will be accomplishing the last year of Uranus in Aries, strengthening the final touches to secure the foundation of the future that Taurus will build on. Change worthy ideas need to be instilled, spread far and wide to create a support network, cleverly woven into our daily fabric so they become a part of us, effortlessly carried on.
Uranus is the planet of Aquarius, so unique that utter freedom is a automatic. In Aries, the First of everything, it is kin to Aquarius the Awakener! Aquarius is way ahead of its time; Aries is the first to DO it! Fire and electricity make the world go around! Virgo loves a better way, but wants to keep her routine! Uranus is the unpredictable, unstable at times, ChangeMaker fast as lightning! Aries is fast too, easily distracted by the next new thing! Great as a consultant, but Virgo is the one usually left with incorporating the conversion. Virgo is considered a flexible, adaptable sign, but this will call for the max! Routines can not be counted on, the rules may be changed daily! Virgo calls on the inventors and leaders to slow down at times, and for them to be even more creative in finding ways for their ideas to be more easily assimilated. Virgo first wants to see how it works and know why. She safeguards the system.
Uranus in Taurus invents simple. Taurus tries out the application. It needs to be easy to use, worth the effort. It calls for a steady and practical solution. Virgo quite agrees. The Uranian wildcard is always extraordinary, so can do that too! Taurus and Virgo are both earthy. Taurus rules fur, farm animals; Virgo rules pets. Hopefully some animals may be more protected. Taurus wants comfort and Virgo wants their patients to be relieved of suffering that more of their energy will go to healing. Chiron, like Neptune is also in Pisces, covers 24 Pisces to 2 Aries, entering Aries April 17 2018! Chiron will conjunct any factors you have in those degrees. If you have Chiron in those degrees, you will be having your Chiron Return! Wounds and vulnerabilities will be assessed. Updated healing systems will be applied with unbelievable results! Medical teaching will be inspiring, especially about vision and feet while in Pisces, and the head and eyes when in Aries. The Magi Society thinks Chiron is the #1 marriage factor and good in business.
Chiron the Healer is fluid in Pisces, takes only a moment to assess a situation. Virgo, as with Neptune, is opposite Chiron. There is more affinity since Chiron was a noted healer, and Virgo was the village medicine person and midwife. She carried her basket of herbs. She was WiseWoman, who counseled mind as well as healing body. She was High Priestess at times, knowing the magic that went with the medicine. Chiron suffered long, learned a lot, became teacher. Virgo works on a daily basis. Chiron in Pisces may be a more spirit master, giving insights that help the daily ministrations find a way to be received and absorbed. At times Virgo may need to stand aside, then return when the patient is ready again. Good health and clear thinking are important! Chiron and Virgo may do great business together, become partners, even marry!
When Chiron goes into Aries for 9 years. through 2027, it will speed up healing at an enormous rate! We will process many challenges with unproven but successful results. Yes, there will be some rash attempts, but quickly remedied as the leaders push on. In some ways it will be like a renaissance! Virgo has its tried and true ways, so some upstart may have to prove himself before Virgo accepts the new ideas! Rarely does Virgo let themselves be rushed, but if the cure works, will do anything in their power to distribute it. If it is not properly vetted, Virgo may demand the proper processes be applied. Aries marvels at the details Virgo does, may have to jump in to move things faster, save the day! Virgo could be temporarily overwhelmed, but can carry on as the dust settles.
Saturn builds from 21 Sagittarius to 9 Capricorn now through September 2018. Saturn goes into his own sign Capricorn Dec 19, 2017! Saturn will be in Capricorn along with Pluto, conjuncts Pluto once, Jan 12, 2020.
In Sagittarius Saturn squares Virgo, but is also an Earth planet, earth sign combination. Saturn has a greater range of vision in Sagittarius and he’s gotten used to it! He keeps Virgo lined up with the greater plan and aware of how much time it will take. Some details make all the difference. Others will be let go by agreement in context of the great good, the best for all. In Sag, Saturn wants work to be broader, culture inclusive or tightens the work to the most meager and cost cutting possible, perhaps choosing quantity versus quality, foreign workers at the lowest pay. Virgos have a knack for making our lives a more beautiful place!
Tending gardens, houseplants and humans comes naturally for them. Mowing your lawn or a Horticulture or Landscaping degree are things they are good at. They have an eye for natural spacing and placing. Being with Nature reduces stress and improves sleep, balances a busy life, increases happiness! It works even if it involves just nurturing a few pots on a balcony! Good pesticide free organic food keeps us healthy, restores us. You are what you eat and you think more clearly. Flowers are like sunshine to our every thought.
Mind and body go together! Nutrition and nursing takes care of every detail. Through their clear attention our thinking follows a divine order, we save time, have time to do more elegant things as well! Intricate professions like bookkeeping/accounting, systems analysis, efficiency consulting show us more powerful percentages and abundant payoffs. Weeding our lives of unnecessary clutter and cleaning up literally makes our lives brighter!
Growing humans is sometimes hard work on both sides. Virgo usually knows quite a bit. Delivering the knowledge isn’t always easy for either the Virgo or the other person, possibly another Virgo! Virgo can have a bite with her bark, even when there is good intention behind it. The trick is to educate at appropriate times, ask if it is a good time to talk, talk when no one is tired, with a smile of appreciation on your face and mean it. It’s not what you say, but how you say it. A good rule to follow is 5 appreciations to one criticism. Know that too much criticism unkindly delivered has consequences. You may lose a connection, even damage the other person, especially if a Virgo child or mate. If you are clever at criticism, you can be clever with praise! The process is not to prove how smart you are or one up to make yourself bigger or better than, but to share and make an ally, pull together in the traces. Well oiled machine. Hats off to you for your efforts.
Working independently is often best. Virgos have their ways, often a routine. Interruptions throw them off course. Delegating is not so easy. They like it precise and excellent quality. They are quite willing to do that for you. Too much fine tuning and sometimes they lose their job. However, if poor quality materials or building jeopardize lives, they may need to be in a safe place to blow the whistle. Believe me, they will have the data and evidence to back up what they claim. Heroes and heroines. Some can be good instructors, but they need good students that can keep up. Virgos deliver a lot of well thought out information in a very short time! On-the-job training, hands on examples are the best for them.
Though Virgos are often avid readers, have a library of their own, book learning is just not their best job training medium unless it is a do-it-yourself manual! Hands on, on-the-job training works better. They can see it and feel it, prove it to themselves. Yet Virgos are #1 as authors! They can write and write and write! Mystery novels! Virgos are consummate puzzle solvers! Famed Agatha Christie was Virgo rising, Saturn and Sun in Virgo, Jupiter in the 6th house! Chart They write super informative detail by detail how-to blogs, stunning documentaries, well organized training manuals!
Virgos do a lot of daily business. They are not usually heavy lifters, but keep things livable and in running order. Repairs, housekeeping, gardening, laundries, trash removal, elder caregivers. If they have a bit of Sagittarius in their chart, expect a hotel/bed and breakfast or university work or works at the racetrack! Ones with a bit of Cancer in their charts may tend the genealogy archives at the library or museum. Throw in some Taurus and you may get a veterinarian that adores fur persons and livestock. With Aquarius you may get a double checking researcher who is honored for the excellence of their trustworthy work.
Environmental concern is strong with them. They love our Earth, often are walkers. Toxic cleanup, restoration and protection of habitats, protecting wildlife whether running a campaign, a rescue organization, a preserve or being a ranger are favored. They can do meaningful research seeking long term results, trends for climate change. Don’t be surprised if your Virgo becomes a Master Gardener!
Simply put, Virgos do a monumental job as EarthKeepers, in so many ways, every single day.
