First Eclipse, a Lunar Eclipse, of 2024! Mama may be a Micro Moon, but she’s powerfully reaching out as the Bucket chart handle! In Libra she will make many new relationships and alliances for us! The Full Moon group following is again in a tight 108° 44′ pack from Pluto in Aquarius to Uranus in Taurus! Pluto will retrograde May 2. We still have 4 planets in Pisces and now 4 factors in Aries including Sun! Jupiter is in 5° range of his April 20 conjunction with Uranus!
Eclipse energy shoots right through us with Moon and Sun lined up with us on opposite sides of Earth! We get Moon’s Libra energy and Sun’s Aries rays, no matter if it is day or night. In North America it is dark and Moon is visible, but a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse takes place when the Moon moves through the faint, outer part of Earth’s shadow, the penumbra. This type of eclipse is not as dramatic as other types of lunar eclipses and is often mistaken for a regular Full Moon. My guess is that it being a Micro Moon that will be even more true. If you plan to watch it, check out your local timing!
Independence and equality in relationships will be important. Libra is beauty and considerations, fine dining, genteel. Aries isn’t likely to write or read poetry, prefers things he can do when his body is poetry in motion! Your date with him may be a meetup excursion of some sort. If you both are bike riders it could be going to a beautiful garden, a lovely outdoor meal! You might discuss laws and politics if your Libra is an attorney or politically minded. Aries want to fight for the underdog; Libra can be prosecutor or defender. Libra is more often working with others. Aries runs his own business. Libra may find him clients, while he cheers her on to be true to herself.
Moon and Bucket! Moon is usually thought of as the leader of a bucket chart, but sometimes the thrust of the group is in the Bucket planets. As a group they can clear the way for Moon! Or, who knows, maybe she is escaping, LOL! Her as the leader knows how to make connections, spread the news about what their work is. She can negotiate, make alliances and sales, get their needs met! - In this case, of course, Sun as the Full Moon star, is primary. Sun has his own Light, and as an Aries is a natural born leader by sign! He is most certainly the leader of the Bucket group. Opposite Moon, her in a more powerful position than usual, she may be striking out for her own independence, more equality! She is physically living that independence by being on her own. Sun has been her own teacher, and she knows how to do it. She has watched him!
. - Chiron in Aries is Midpoint between Venus in Pisces and Uranus in Taurus, Venus’s first sign! He connects with them; they connect with each other though him! He synthesizes their ideas adding points of his own, sends it out to them.

Venus in Pisces is semisextiling Chiron in Aries. She is softening his approaches, teaching him calming ways, how to be more affectionate and appreciative! She is so sweet and caring beyond words that he just has to listen. He knows she suffers from disappointments sometimes, so he tells her when he sees that to stand up anyway, to be good to herself. Sometime good people are just too kind too long. Health depends on your balance. Can’t save everyone all the time. Take a break, get yourself back on track.

Chiron in Aries is in turn semisextile Uranus in Taurus our lead planet! Chiron is feeling quite frisky, has been consorting with the North Node, Venus and Mercury! He’s delighted with the electric character Uranus! They are both champions of change! Chiron carries the wizard’s staff, in Aries is quick and fiery; Uranus in Taurus rumbles under your feet, quakes! Chiron thinks he can do everything by himself, but meets his match with the Uranian team! He’s not likely to join up, but certainly listens to their chat! They don’t mind a bit because they know he is a sincere leader who heals key leaders one by one! Teamwork is completely different than a solitary specialty. They send suitable people to him for a recharge. He’s good at that.

Venus is sextile Uranus! They sometimes bypass Chiron, just enjoy each other’s company. She loves Uranian amazing unpredictable creations! He plays computer games to the astonishing end! He makes them himself. To his surprise, she understands his extraordinary friends! Her Pisces knows them better than they know themselves! In more serious moments, she tells him some of her dreams for the world today. Genius Uranus is excited at the scope of her vision, sees what he can do while she is talking. She is overjoyed! It’s the beginning and they agree to continue meeting! - Moon’s Nodes are the second in the Aries/Libra axis, the same signs as our Full Moon! They have a tad more importance than usual just by being there. Their general motion is always retrograde on an 18.6 year cycle. Many people think of Moon as our past lives knowledge reservoir. The South Node too is considered a past life factor, but as something we overdid or did poorly and we are seeking to develop the North Node factors to have a better balance.

The work at the North Node is to continue to use the skills of the past, which can be formidable. They are second nature to use, but habitually chronically used without additional considerations has drawbacks and consequences at times. We have all met people who have a hard time changing. However, at the same time, while using past skills judiciously, we can integrate the skills of the sign of the North. They are completely opposite, forcing us to see across the table, initially a little more work, but promising a breath of fresh air, the sense of a potential merger!

In Aries, the North Node is looking for more independence. He used to always keep the other person in mind, now looking to be/please himself more! NN has recently conjuncted Chiron in Aries. North Node has just crossed and is leaving the semisextile point with Jupiter. If some of you will forgive me, Jupiter in Taurus can seem like a great big brown Idaho potato at times, well planted in the ground, smile. Now, I love them. But the NN in Aries just knows that the potato can move just a little faster somehow, LOL! The NN wants to leave Jupiter with a little Aries boost! Who would think of ever thinking that about Jupiter who is usually winning the race? Well, it’s all relative! So, the NN himself getting a boost in Aries, passes it along! Have courage, have faith, turn it up a notch and be happy! Jupiter thinks he faintly heard someone talking and somehow has a good feeling about it. He’s a little less sleepy.

In this case, Libra, Venus’ second sign, was the past of both North Node and Moon. Perhaps Libra was too nice and got walked on, lied to keep peace, was an aggressive lawyer with no compassionate limits, had a love of a soft life, a social butterfly with no deep care for others or self awareness, gigolos and gold diggers, being pretty/handsome but no guts. This time there may be some ‘hangover’ inclinations, but s/he also has a down deep sense of what to avoid. Clearly Aries is not a people pleaser. They think for themselves, go where and when they want with whom they want if anyone at all. They don’t worry about sweating when they exercise. No chocolates for them! This little semisextile is closer with the NN than the NN is with the New Moon which it is leaving behind. Semisextiles are neighbor sign connections. Pisces is the last zodiac sign, Aries is the first. The end is connected to the beginning of the Circle. Pisces passes the baton to Aries to carry the dream into action! The NN, is a little different! His direction is reversed through the zodiac! He is going from Aries back to meet Pisces. In Aries, he feels his oats, is charged like with all the zoomies of a baby animal! He can be pushy for fun, means to encourage you, does inspire you in spite of yourself. Right away, that evening at 7:39 PM Pacific, Mercury will be conjuncted by Mother Moon, emphasizing Mercury immediately right out of the box! Chiron, as said above, is the stellium outer planet anchor planet. Mercury is how our mind learns, listening, sharing everything possible. Always when we talk about the mind, it is not what you say or think, but how you say it or how your mental frame is when listening. Are you open as you encounter others or have you prejudged? Chiron as healer sees the pain in many encounters, the healing and strength that is required to refresh that mental outlook. The April 8, 2024 Total Solar Eclipse Path stretches from central Texas to northern New England. The duration of totality will average just under 4 minutes (4 minutes 27 seconds in Texas). Interestingly, the path of totality will again encompass the 2017 Carbondale, Illinois. Carbondale is on the center-line of the path of totality and will see 4 minutes and 9 seconds of totality for eclipse 2024, nearly double what was seen in 2017, and IT was wonderful! The ultimate purpose of Aries is INITIATION! A conversion happens as spiritual insights occur. Neptune at 28°, is at the last degree of the chart and in the last degrees of Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac.
