Full Frost Moon!

Nov 22 the Sun leaps into Sagittarius at 1:02 AM Pacific, on ThanksGiving Day! The stage has been set. The Full Frost Moon is that evening at 9:39 PM Pacific, 0 Gemini/Sagittarius 52! It’s on Nov 23 at 12:39 AM EASTERN time!

Mercury Retrograde. T Square, Kite, Cardinal Grand Square ~ all linked!

Sagittarius 2018 Full Travelers Moon
This one is called the Beaver or Frost Moon, but this year we might as well call it the Travelers’ Moon! It’s on ThanksGiving Day and whether you are going home to be with family or taking advantage of the holiday to take a trip, many are going to be on the road or in that plane!

AND, this is the first lunar event, and I do mean first, it and Jupiter are at zero degrees, with Jupiter now in his own sign Sagittarius – the planet and sign of travelers! Apropos it is since the Full Moon spans Gemini (Moon) to Sun sign Sagittarius conjunct Jupiter, on the first day of 2018 Sagittarius!!! Arms open wide, Moon and Sun cross the dimensions. Gemini is fascinated by every single encounter with any possible living or inanimate thing at its fingertips! Sagittarius would walk 100 miles to see what is over that next hill and who might be there! Gemini thinks 100 miles a minute while Sagittarius is contemplating what it all means and is making plans to go another 100, knowing there is more!

Mars sits at a T point to the Moon, Sun and Jupiter! His temperament is very different than theirs. They are chatty and heady compared with him in Pisces. He is a leader, but in Pisces can take complete silence. He can lead from behind or within, yet get him on a pulpit and the fire comes out! He can surprisingly lead the fray, an inspired compassionate leader in behalf of those who suffer. He is sensitive to what needs doing now to save the most later. His sensitivity avoids mistakes, gets right to the heart of things.

Sun and Jupiter are backed by a Grand Trine/Kite that finished Nov 19. Sun was in Scorpio then, received advice from Chiron in Pisces and the Moon’s North Node in Moon’s sign Cancer. Chiron gave tips on healing the Soul, the helpless and hopeless, other leaders involved with planetary healing. The Cancer North Node impressed Sun with the organic need for food and shelter, cleanliness and emotional support. Sun now in Sagittarius wants people to know, and put programs in place to get people on their feet, to be able to be contributing citizens.

Moon sits sextile midpoint between Chiron and Moon’s own North Node. And, she is one point of that T Square! She links them. First, as sextile Chiron and the Node, she too got the information Sun and Jupiter did! Where Sun & Jupiter in Sag are promoters, the Moon rules our shelter, women, children, the public at large. She knows the feelings of the times. She’s like a weather barometer that helps us make our moves at the times best for their reception. Sextiles of water and earth, she was in Taurus then, blend understanding and application. Taurus wants it to be anchored and long serving. Now in Gemini she’s spreading the word, getting thinking going. Next thing you know you are on the volunteer list!

There is a Cardinal Grand Square too! Cardinal signs get things going! Uranus is the Chief in Aries, leader, first responder! He thinks in terms of from the loner to all humanity! Getting one pivotal key person started can become an avalanche of success, worldwide achievement! Venus, in her own sign Libra, is sweeting her way along mending rifts, introducing strangers of great differences, blessing the day with beauty. She explains legalities and has teeth when she needs them. Don’t underestimate her. The Moon’s Nodes are the second axis – Capricorn south, Cancer North. We have been no nonsense business people before, building solidly a day at a time, supervising the troops, buying time, doing research and testing. Now we are adding in Cancerian caring, nurturing with quality food and comforting, offering personal support in community matters, the Sacred Feminine. Children are our treasures of the future.

Uranus sits midpoint semisextile between Chiron and Moon! He links all three configurations, The Mars T Square, the Grand Trine and the Grand Cardinal Square. These are all action oriented combinations.

Venus is no longer retrograde, but Mercury is now since Nov 16. See more about Venus/Mercury Retrograde! It’s especially significant to this Full Moon since Mercury is Gemini’s planet! Communications are essential to spreading the good word. When Mercury/Gemini exchanges across the table to Sagittarius, he knows the information will go far and wide for free! Sagittarius loves telling stories, educating, sharing perspectives, opening minds to a vast array of information. Travel blogs to tomes. The retrograde function keeps reviewing, stirring the pot, incorporating insights that have come along.

Mercury squares Neptune. Mercury is pretty clear in Sagittarius, has his opinions. He has his usual ‘chatter’ but in Sag he’s looking for meaning too. He’s more likely to pick a direction. Or, he’s scattered more than ever with all those Sag possibilities in mind. Retrograde makes for a lot of quick mind changing. Neptune too can go either way. Either it’s mass confusion and illusion, or you would give your life for what you are dedicated to! Mercury is usually logical, Neptune is famous for those psychic curve balls! Good thing Mercury is quick on his feet in a fire sign, like a flash in Sagittarius, the sign of the nimble traveler avoiding the potholes! Good luck!

Saturn is making his own notes in his own sign Capricorn. He’s tallying, watching for what works, how much time it will take, materials needed. To him it seems like a zoo for the moment. He is wisely waiting for the dust to settle a bit.

Pluto took the Light with him down under, below the Ecliptic Oct 30! Now Kundalini and Phoenix style he is ‘raising’ Hell, LOL! What an awesome job. The mighty midterm elections brought more ethnicity, more women, and LBGTQ! Pluto will have to make many powerful yet delicate shifts to bring these new people into productive work in their new jobs, help them stand tall yet balanced, to facilitate and establish their new ideas into a working part of our fabric. This Full Moon is equipped to help see the many facets that need to be harmonized. The ‘shifting sands’ of these mutable signs, Gemini and Sagittarius can be like quicksand swallowing you up, or a mixing bowl bringing each thing that needs work to the surface so it can be dealt with. Mutable signs are known to be in motion, adaptable – sometimes accommodating, other times taking you with them!

In the long term, these events will be leading up to the Nov 16, 2019 Transit of Mercury and Nov 19, 2019 Jupiter conjunct the Galactic Center!

Astronomical note! Our Full Moon is occuring at the same time as what is called the Pleiadian Alignment that started Nov 15, finishing Nov 23, the day after ThanksGiving! Earth, Moon 0 Gemini, Sun and the Pleiades 0 Gemini are precisely in a row! They were known as the Weeping Sisters, in old horary astrology, something to weep about. Lord knows we in California have had just that with the deadly Camp Fire and the sad losses with the Woolsey Fire. Some organic astrologers equate the weeping with rain. We are hoping for a steady light rain that our scorched land can absorb. The Pleiades are also called the Seven Sacred Sisters, with various mythologies about them, feminine, intuitive. Please allow a special channel to flow between us all. Blessed be.

Also, take some special time this Full Moon day to consider what to do and make plans to do it. Review the 2019 Annual Special Edition. Jot notes in your calendar. Don’t worry if it isn’t perfect. Start as you can. Expect intelligent modifications to occur, a few natural mistakes. Mercury is retrograde, changing things on purpose, and it shouldn’t all go as planned, but, in time, even better! Evolution is the constant of change!

New Moon!

Thursday December 6 Mercury DIRECT 1:22 PM Pacific then the New Moon at 11:20 PM Pacific, 15 Sagittarius 07. It’s on December 7 in all the other US Time zones east of Pacific.

Mercury Direct! Jupiter in own sign & New Moon in Sagittarius! Grand Square, Grand Trine, Mars/Neptune, 15°!

New Moon Sagittarius 2018 Milky Way Yellowstone

Photographer Dave Lane says a storm just passed before he captured this beautiful sight at Yellowstone National Park in 2015. He spent 4 months color-correcting the night time images to match them to the natural colors seen in the daytime at Yellowstone National Park. See the image large! See Dave’s photography tips!

This is the first New Moon during Jupiter in Sagittarius and the New Moon is IN Sagittarius! Hallelujah! It’s a double Sag chart plus Jupiter is in his own sign Sagittarius! Every New Moon is a precious restart from sign to sign. This is a 12 year restart for Jupiter! Each New Moon is a purity of that sign’s energy incubated by and integrated in the very latest transits of the times. Each New Moon is the wellspring of sign it is in, a fresh charge, and a pure source of that energy. And it’s the perfect support  for Jupiter! In his sign Sagittarius, Sun shines for him and Moon can feel the Sag messages so important to share! Make notes! Schedule to review and update them from time to time!

Mercury is no longer retrograde! Mercury Rx returns to Scorpio Dec 1 and Venus enters Scorpio Dec 2 at 9:02 AM Pacific. Mercury entered an intense Station (appearing to standstill) for 8 days in the last degrees of Scorpio! The Scorpio messages will be steeped, condensed, focused on, anchored in place. Decide what you want to keep as core guidance, let the rest go. Your foundation is set, move on with Venus’s blessing. Mercury turns direct, forward, Dec 6, the heart of the station, on the Sagittarius NEW MOON! The turn, very slow at first, has been made. After the next four days the findings will start being released, momentum will be gained. Mercury returns to Sagittarius Dec 12. He will be downloading the information to Jupiter Dec 12, leaving nothing out, until he conjuncts Jupiter Winter Solstice, Yule, Dec 21! Venus will be left behind on her own, still in Scorpio. See more: Venus/Mercury Retrograde Back to Back!

This chart is rather simple – you can see in the chart there are few aspects made – the color connector lines. What is exciting is that the point of the red triangle and the big blue triangle are linked!

There is the red, triangle that actually represents a Grand Square of Uranus, Venus and the Moon’s Nodes! It is quite odd in its combination. Uranus is in fire sign Aries retrograde. It will be squared by the Moon’s North Node in it’s own sign Cancer, also retrograde. Since the node moves faster, it will make the square while both of them are retrograde. Uranus in fiery Aries couldn’t be more his own man, complete loner to a leader of humanitarian efforts. Either way he is consumed, others have to come to him. Moon’s North Node in its own water sign Cancer is more likely to stay home unless it is a matter of taking care of the children. Venus is also in a water sign, Scorpio, still close but leaving them both behind. Water signs are usually trine, a harmonious aspect, but here they are square, somewhat at odds yet in compatible signs. It’s a similar setup for Venus ‘opposite’ Uranus. Oppositions are usually in opposite signs, which oddly have some compatibility. In this case they would be Aries/Libra – fire/air or Taurus/Scorpio – earth/water. But these are not. They are Fire/Water. Could be steamy, but Venus, of Libra has had enough of that upstart Aries, no finesse she thinks. Or she is impressed, and takes up his cause. In charismatic Scorpio she is looking for love and money, or wants to be around involvement with deep healing skills and centers for homeless, hospice, addictions. She’s blessed and not afraid of the dark side or being behind the scenes. Oh, the juicy secrets! She is not just a pretty face; she will do more than expected and more than we will ever know. Give her the reigns, yet check on her from time to time for your own peace of mind.

There is the blue Grand Water Trine. The Moon’s North Node links the Grand Square with the Trine. Trines are considered a blessed configuration and the North Node too. North Node is our aspiration, balance with the South. In this trine, Mercury is exactly at the same degree and minute, giving deeper facts and wisdom from Scorpio, who has faced life and death. The North Node in Cancer wants to protect its own, so is quite grateful and now more able to secure resources and the safety of loved ones. Though the Node, always moving backwards through the signs, and Chiron are parting, Chiron in Pisces saw the weak points and showed the Node how to apply healing of spirit, as Scorpio showed the Node healing remedies. In turn, The node offered a nurturing place to stay, free of obsessions and addictions, instead a safe place with innocent babies and children that give us the reason to say clean and sober, to not stray from the organic reasons for being here together. Many times healers need to heal themselves. This trine is a great gift.

This trine helps calm the red lines. Uranus needs to be free, but how free? We are all a part of each other. We breathe the same air. Be free to be sweet. Pay more attention to the living beings around you doing the best they can. Be free to be able to receive love. Being touched by the Spirit of others makes a living difference. Venus in Scorpio can be enamored with her own seductive beauty that may be the source of her money. She may forget she too is a part of a web of dear humans that would love and admire her for more of what she is rather than what she has. They will love her when she is wrinkled and gray. She may be so wrapped up in giving healing she forgets herself. Open those pretty eyes, lift that chin, see and feel the love people have for you. Keep the balance.

The New Moon itself not in either pattern! In fact, it is virtually standing alone numerically. Both Moon and Sun recently squared Mars and Neptune, but, traveling faster, Moon and Sun are leaving them behind. What they will carry with them is the spice of Mars’s dreams while he has been close with Neptune. Mars has been inspired by Neptune’s amazing insights. Mars isn’t noted for being subtle, but he is in Neptune’s sign with Neptune. He is being steeped in Spirit. Aligned, he sees the vision too. Neptune is in Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac. Mars is the planet of Aries, the first sign of the zodiac! It’s alpha and omega, the beginning and the end! What one starts the other must end. What one dreams the other must begin! Both are planets of Initiation, one through perceptions and visions, the other through the action taken in their behalf! Leadership is often born of what we see that needs saving.

Mars makes the exact conjunction Dec 7 at 6:12 AM Pacific, so essentially, the daytime operative hours are the same day as the New Moon! Two beginnings at once! It is also true that Neptune and Pisces may obscure your vision and accuracy. You or what’s out there may seemingly be ‘invisible.’ Please be careful if you feel tired, distressed, or even super ‘high.’ You may not be as invincible as you imagine, and poor judgment may be your undoing. It’s ok to slow down. We are all on God’s time. Illusion and confusion, intentional deception, could take you on a wrong lead for a time. If necessary, admit your mistake, get help if necessary, and get back on track. Some of these experiences will strengthen you. You won’t fall prey again, and you will guide others away from these traps. The other side of that same coin is a breakthrough! Your perception may be so heightened you can see like never before! You are guided to do the perfect right thing at the right moment. Blessed be. If you are in water sports, you could be the impassioned winner, the hero of the day!

Special info for those of you with 14, 15, 16° factors in your charts! The Libra New Moon Oct 8 started a 7 month series of New Moons at 15° of their signs. Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces and Aries New Moons are each at the 15° midpoint of their signs. By midway, they ‘learn’ their sign and are tipping in favor of maturity and completion. All these Moons are resonant to each other! Each represents a turning point, a choice point on how to proceed further, a balance within their sign. Some of the signs will be in harmony aspects to the others, ie Libra and Sagittarius will make sextiles and trines to other air and fire signs. This one in Sagittarius will square the one in Pisces and trine the last one in Aries. Scorpio will make trines and sextiles with other earth and water signs. The master Capricorn Solar Eclipse Jan 5, 2019, however, the first 2019 lunar event, will be midpoint between Libra and Aries, the first and last signs in the series! A lot will hinge on his decisions and influence the remaining three, Aquarius, Pisces and Aries.

Saturn is still making his own notes in his own sign Capricorn. He’s tallying, watching for what works, how much time it will take, materials needed. To him it seems like a zoo for the moment. He is wisely waiting for the dust to settle a bit.

Pluto is still pondering, likely will be strongly for a couple more years, how he took the Light with him down under, below the Ecliptic Oct 30! He now, Kundalini and Phoenix style, is ‘raising’ Hell, LOL! What an awesome job. The mighty midterm elections brought more ethnicity, more women, and LBGTQ! It will be an ongoing responsibility to make many powerful yet delicate shifts to bring these new people into productive work in their new jobs, help them stand tall yet balanced, to facilitate and establish their new ideas into a working part of our fabric.

This New Moon is strengthening our purpose. It’s about making meaningful and realistic plans about things that matter to our future. It’s the walk of a lifetime.

Happy Birthdays, Capricorns!

capricorn-bruce-kirkby-adventurer-goats

Though many of you have never heard of Jan 8, 1968 Capricorn Bruce Kirkby, he is well known and accomplished in his field!

Per TravelChannel.com, in the world of travel, Canadian Bruce Kirkby is a jack-of-all-trades: adventurer, guide, writer and photographer. His journeys have taken him to more than 80 countries, including the wildest and most remote corners of the planet. He has crossed Iceland by foot, traveled through Mongolia by horse, been shot at in Borneo, and been taken hostage in Ethiopia.

Bruce is a weekly travel columnist for The Globe and Mail. He is the author of 2 best-selling books, Sand Dance: By Camel Across Arabia’s Great Southern Desert (2001) and The Dolphin’s Tooth: A Decade in Search of Adventure (2007).

Bruce’s work also appears regularly in publications including The New York Times, EnRoute and Time magazine, and National Geographic selected his images to be among the best adventure photography of the decade. Previously, Bruce hosted CBC’s prime-time reality show No Opportunity Wasted, for which his mission was to help regular people overcome personal fears and accomplish the seemingly impossible.

Quite a resume!

You may have seen him and his family on the Travel Channel’s series Big Crazy Family Adventure. It follows the family as they travel from British Columbia to Ladakh, India (more than 13,000 miles), by every mode of transportation except planes.

Bruce is a dedicated family man, and backpacks with GOATS – the Capricorn animal! Amid the clatter of hooves and tiny bleats, we were under way. In the 100 mile pack trip with his 4 year old son Bodi, one of the goats he selected for the trip, the snowy white one, was named Capricorn! Each carried about 30 pounds of gear. Their lightweight fabric saddles were held in place by plastic buckles, the panniers slung using Velcro and hooks. Son’s questions? Will the goats miss home? Where will they sleep? Where will we sleep? When is snack time? Read more about this precious adventure!

Yep, their families worry, but Bruce says:  Heck, I’m trying to get the grandmothers to come on more adventures with us!

2016/17 Outer Planet Transit Aspects with Capricorn!

Capricorn Builders Working Smart

Building a great New Year working smart and working together!

Pluto is in mid Capricorn through 2017. Pluto is Scorpio’s planet and in Capricorn is in a harmonious sextile sign, an earth and water mix. A darn good business person estimating time and money to the inch! Perfect! Time now to roll up our sleeves, join forces, build for a sustainable future! Mid degree Capricorns will find their old debris being hauled away. Overburdened, they became forgeries of their former selves. At core, they are molten steel, reformed in strength, meeting their destiny with an exceptional resolve. Some relationships will undoubtedly be fated, debts were and are made, some paid. Healing may be hard work but worth it. Some healing will be of past painful experiences, some of skin and bones. A therapist for mind and a physical therapist for body could be worth their salt. Step through the fear.

Neptune is in its own sign, at the first third of Pisces. It is a water Planet in the last water sign seeking a deeper side of life. Neptune is oceanic – is still like glass becalmed, has forever tidal cycles, titanic storms, tsunamis! In their office Capricorn is looking over the time sheets, the return on investment. It knows how precious our efforts are, how our cumulative work adds up. Lost time affects us all as others wait for us. It learns values from those ROI sheets, what’s real. Neptune dreams a vision for Capricorn. Sensible or not, it’s a template. Capricorn builds Neptunes’ dream, magically joining studs and artfully building in stone, a gift, a diamond forever. Might be a temple, an archway through the garden, a divine wall to keep us safe, dividing local from wild, a set of keys for your new home!

Uranus is just past the mid of Aries, moving into the final half of the degrees. Uranus is the planet of Aquarius, so unique that utter freedom is a given. Capricorn’s planet is Saturn, and they are so unlike Uranus, Aquarius. Saturn was Uranus’ son, and Saturn was the bad boy – killed his Father! Usually we think of Uranus as the heretic, perhaps unkempt, unruly unpredictable. The amazing part of the story is: The period in which Cronus [Saturn] ruled was called the Golden Age, as the people of the time had no need for laws or rules; everyone did the right thing, and immorality was absent. Capricorn in today’s astrology is still the one in charge. Uranus is the inventor, networker, internet, flight, electronics expert! Capricorn is earth; Uranus rules the heavens, and in Aries is fiery, challenging every moment! Uranus leads Capricorn the scientist into unexplored realms, in the company of super leaders. Capricorn keeps their feet on the ground, incorporating extraordinary concepts into daily life!

Chiron, like Neptune is also in Pisces, starting the last third of the sign. It goes into Aries 2018-19. The Magi Society thinks Chiron is the #1 marriage factor and good in business. Traditional business and a good marriage are just right for most Capricorns. They are willing to work. Chiron in Pisces helps them see the inner workings of things, understand more subtle relationship structures, let go when necessary. Chiron calls on them to heal from deep past wounds, to teach what they learned. Chiron in Neptune principles may be idealized, but Capricorn expertly converts them to useful ways of living anyone can do while still keeping them magical!

Saturn travels from 16 to 27 degrees of Sagittarius now through Nov 2017. Capricorn is Saturn’s sign, but Sagittarius is one of those quite different neighboring signs. Saturn and Capricorn are Earth. Sagittarius is easily sidetracked fire. Sag is far vision personified while Saturn has a steady unblinking here and now focus! Of course, if Sagittarius shows Capricorn the easiest path, and promises a bonus, who wouldn’t keep that focus?! Saturn in Sagittarius shows that even having fun can BE the business! Two for the price of one! Paid to play! Sag is always looking out ahead. Early course corrections can really pay off. Capricorn holds Sagittarius accountable for his grand ideas, and asks him to stick around until the project is well established.

Jupiter in Libra is a volatile Fire and Air combination, loves to carry on getting to know you. Capricorn is not seduced by cute or merely pretty; intelligence makes a difference. They aren’t as social. Your words need to carry weight. They are not so impressed by who you know, as they are by who you introduce them too. If you represent them successfully in court they are happy to pay. Capricorns love classic art, historical documents, structures by adept artisans. Jupiter can artfully expand Capricorn’s business, and may have just the right ways of making suggestions. Capricorn needs to listen carefully and kindly because Jupiter in Libra can have good intentions and excellent advice. Jupiter in Libra has a finely tuned sense of balance, perspectives that incorporate the best of both sides. Jupiter may be a bit overblown at times in his enthusiasm, but look at the backbone of what they are saying! That’s your framework to start from!

Happy Birthdays, Capricorns! May your new year be productive and rewarding in every way!

Capricorn, the Winter Magicians!

Capricorn the Mountain Goat at home in the rocks!

Capricorns, Goats, are devilishly and delightfully capricious. As youngsters, tails up, they run and leap and play at full tilt along the rock tops! They are impulsive and make unpredictable zig zag turns and twists in mid air! If you aren’t watching, it could seem devious when they sneak up on you! They are not afraid of mingling, nor easily led. They have a keen sense for BS, and will go contrary if there is a problem with morality.

Though generally obedient children and law abiding adults, there is an inbred independence, a need to be free to lead! As leaders they are free! Walking sure footedly, wherever footing is available, takes them places others never go. No wonder at times they seem to be ‘above’ us, aloof, maybe even intimidating.

With their high intelligence, command and leadership are natural. And they can back it up! They can lower their goat horns and butt their way through difficult obstacles. They can push forward past or chase off competitors and predators, defend their own! They may be exhausted, get down on their knees from time to time, but hard work is something they can do. It carries them through.

Winter Magicians! They are keen survivors that can thrive in sparse conditions, hostile or negligent situations. They make do with what is there, get through hard times. They have courage born of necessity. Perseverance and stamina are incredible, bringing successes beyond their humble beginnings. Yet, at times, remembrances and fear of falling back may bring seeming greed. Really it is their reaction to fear of starvation.

Loyal. Parents and family are important, whether their parents, particularly their Father, was there for them or for some reason couldn’t be. Many vow to be the best parents they can be, knowing what loss feels like. Being overprotective or demanding with rigid rules, implies to the child that there is much to be feared or that your child is, will not be capable, so go a little easier. Let them make a few errors and learn how to recover – another good old fashioned life skill. No shame or embarrassment necessary for an honest effort. Your children will understand the goodness of discipline, how being given responsibilities is a trust.

Cappies are generally healthy, even more so as they get older! Skeleton and bones, the knees, joints, teeth, skin, nails and scalp are your points of concern. Arthritis, rheumatism, tooth decay, crooked teeth and skin problems may plague you. Talk with vibrant experts excited about their specialty, who keep up in their field and aren’t afraid to explore alternative possibilities! See a sports doctor who is interested in more than day to day surviving and maintenance at a tolerable level! See someone who wants your above average, even exceptional health no matter what age you are! Look for experts that want to heal the cause and never have to see you again! LOL!

Capricorn works can be earth sciences and discovery, is the revered CEO, are well known stone mason artisans and remarkable builders. Working with the aged, retirement services, senior communities. Law and law enforcement. Rock and ice climbers, winter sports champions! Historical preservation, environmentalists that use natural primitive ways, low cost utilities, sustainability.

Interesting that the neighboring signs, Sagittarius and Capricorn both have 1/2 and 1/2 symbols. Sagittarius is the Centaur, half human, half horse. Capricorn is the Seagoat, half goat, half fish. Since ancient times, Capricorn was also associated with Mephistopheles, a demon featured in German folklore. And at Christmas, Capricorn’s time, we have Krampus, who scares away evil winter ghosts. He is half goat (Capricorn), half demon. These signs belong to two or more dimensions, both often quite psychic. Capricorn is a most complex sign, perhaps even the most complicated sign. It takes a special person to befriend a Capricorn or be befriended by one.

Time comes when age is an honor with wisdom and a softening. We do what we can. We do our best at the time. Super professionalism, a career, mentoring, melts into time for ourselves perhaps. A staunch by the book religion may become more personally intuitive. Black and white patterns with squares are still there, but it becomes an inner expression, a merger of the art of an adept and motivation for the engine of life.

There are so many famous Capricorns in all walks of life! Here are just a very few: Michelle Obama, Justin Trudeau, Kate Middleton, Khalil Gibran, Elvis Presley, Kevin Costner, Stephen Hawking and Nostradamus!

Blessed be! See you on the mountain!

Happy Birthdays, Sagittarians!

Sagittarius Britney Spears - 4 Planets in Sag: Sun, Uranus, Mercury, Neptune

FOUR planets in Sagittarius – Uranus, Mercury, Sun, Neptune! December 2, 1981 Britney Spears has got that friendly Sagittarian smile! She cares about the world. She sings little girl to vixen. Music is her game. See her chart!

She started as a childstar, with continued successes until 2007/8. Drugs, discordancy, divorce, had their toll and she come under the conservatorship of her father (Saturn conjunct Pluto in Libra), lost custody of her sons, and shaved her hair off! Hard times. Forbes June 2010: ‘Not long ago, most of the entertainment world had written Britney Spears off as a celebrity flameout. But over the last year Spears logged the fifth highest-grossing tour in the world, bringing in $130 million in gross box office receipts by playing 98 dates. High-profile endorsement deals with Elizabeth Arden and Candies’ prove that the public expects Spears to stay in the spotlight for good.’

Since then, a true Sagittarian, she has come back! Sagittarians are noted for their resiliency, optimism, faith, hope, getting beyond limitations, being clean. She’s been down, she’s been up. As Victoria Pavlova says, ‘no matter how bad the breakdown, there’s always a way up.’ Plus, besides being a wealth factor, Jupiter in Scorpio specializes in resurrection, is charismatic, great for comebacks!

Britney has won award after award, made glamorous record breaking stats, stunning financial successes, has one of those Hollywood stars in the sidewalk. In 2013 she began the four-year residency show, Britney: Piece of Me, at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. In 2016, Spears released her ninth studio album, Glory.

She was inspired by many, her top three being Madonna, Janet Jackson, and Whitney Houston. Huge stars. She in turn has inspired artists worldwide, with songs now written about her! She has inspired Gwyneth Paltrow’s acting, Trinidadian singer Nicki Minaj, singer, songwriter Lana Del Rey, triple Scorpio Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus, and on and on! At current time, she’s only 34/turning 35 shortly!

Alongside all that Sagittarian, Britney is strongly Aquarian! Controversial. Her Sun sextiles her Aquarian Moon. Her Mercury is conjunct the Aquarian planet Uranus! She’s brilliant, vivid, shocking, and definitely not the girl nextdoor! The world wasn’t quite ready for the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards aired live on August 28. That ceremony is best remembered for ‘Madonna’ kissing ‘Britney Spears’ and Christina Aguilera during the show’s opening performance! The cameras did a quick cut to Britney’s then boyfriend Justin Timberlake. You can imagine….

That same strong Aquarian nature also gives her a strongly philanthropic bent. Britney founded The Britney Spears Foundation to help children in need. The Foundation also supported the annual Britney Spears Camp for the Performing Arts. In April 2002, they made a grant of $1 million to the Twin Towers Fund to support the children of uniformed service heroes affected by the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. She has done numerous benefit concerts and donations – for AIDS, Katrina, Music Rising, the St. Bernard Project, Madonna’s Kabbalah-based Spirituality for Kids, cancer charity Gilda’s Club Worldwide, Promises Foundation, United Way and more. She has contributed a good share.

Britney was raised a church going Southern Baptist. Well that all changed when her mentor Madonna came along. They studied the Kabbalah, a form of Jewish mysticism. Hinduism has been part of her path too. It’s possible that Spears took Hinduism quite seriously at one stage, reportedly attending “reincarnation sessions” with a Hindu psychic. And she has had between times, no particular faith at all. Sagittarians are always explorers, seekers.

Here’s the latest! Britney debuted the new music video for her sexy single, “Slumber Party” at midnight on Friday, Nov 18 and it didn’t disappoint.

2016-17 Celestial Highlights!

Orion Constellation Hunter Belt Celestial Bridge Mintaka

Orion is now our evening constellation rising in the East November & December. Its bright stars are Betelgeuse, and Rigel. The Aymara of Bolivia call the belt the Celestial Bridge. The top star is Mintaka, special because it sits almost directly astride the celestial equator – the projection of Earth’s equator onto the stellar sphere. From all over the world, Mintaka rises due east and sets due west, and remains in the sky for almost exactly 12 hours. When it shines at zenith (straight overhead), then you’re at the equator, the meeting place of the northern and southern skies. Thank you, Bruce McClure at EarthSky!

Sagittarius 2016/17 TimeLine!

Next in line is Saturn trine Uranus Dec 24, Christmas Eve! The Christmas Eve aspect, Saturn trine Uranus, is nominally astrologically positive, calming, but has a serious tone nonetheless. That aspect leads a set of four aspects in a week that finishes up 2016! It will be a complex and exciting holiday season!

Jupiter will be in Libra until Oct 10, 2017. We are now in a period of adjustments, rebalancing with our new President. It will be a challenging time for many of us through Nov 2, 2017. Do your best with these six aspects. 2017 depends on it. Choose your battles, stay long term intentional, stay focused and don’t forget who you are.

Pluto is in mid Capricorn through 2017. Pluto is Scorpio’s planet and in Capricorn is in a harmonious sextile sign, an earth and water mix. A darn good business person estimating time and money to the inch! Perfect! Mid degree Sagittarians will be Pluto’s semisextile next door neighbor. Sagittarius precedes Capricorn, establishing the reason for all of Capricorn’s hard work. Current new perspectives, a new president, will change investment strategies, where you decide to live, how the world sits with the land Sagittarius hikes, rides or travels too. It’s time to come out of Scorpio/Pluto shadow land. Sagittarius will keep us looking up, out and beyond. There are benefits and consequences to be considered. Sagittarius is experienced in choosing wisely at the fork in the road. They have a great time and against odds, live to tell the story!

Neptune is in its own sign, at the first third of Pisces. It is a water Planet in the last water sign seeking a deeper side of life. Neptune is oceanic – is still like glass becalmed, has forever tidal cycles, titanic storms, tsunamis! Sagittarius is the rainbow arc, arrow in the air, sign. It rises above, and can often choose where it lands. Focus is key. Neptune has seen many rainbows at sea, in the foam on a wave. They have a dream, and Sagittarius can carry it forward, spread the message. There are confused moments when Pisces isn’t sure, lost even, when Sagittarius is scattered, but Neptune is super sensitive, and Sag stands tall to see further ahead. Even if they choose the ‘wrong’ Path, somehow it works out anyway to everyone’s surprise and happiness with unexpected benefits to boot! If Sag has become opinionated, judgemental, Neptune can show a more gentle compassionate side to things.

Uranus is just past the mid of Aries, moving into the final half of the degrees. Uranus is the planet of Aquarius, so unique that utter freedom is a given. Sagittarius the roamer falls into step easily having met many unusual Beings. And no one is unhappy when either of them leaves. It’s a given. Uranus in Aries is a bit devil may care, even cavalier at times. If Sagittarius is bold and blunt, offends, it may be a bit crazy for awhile. If Sagittarius puts a positive spin on the over the top strange Uranian ideas or manner, we may have inventions sooner than later. Sag is a natural born educator. People trust them, and Sag has faith in that invention when no one else does. Can be a great team!

Chiron, like Neptune is also in Pisces, starting the last third of the sign. It goes into Aries 2018-19. The Magi Society thinks Chiron is the #1 marriage factor and good in business. It’s not always easy for a Sagittarian to do traditional business or marriage. But they do understand ethics of committing to a marriage. The right nomadic compatriot, or a partner who is happy to be home base, works. If Chiron invites Sag to a cruise business coupled with imports/exports, super! You can travel the world at home by owning the local beachside bed & breakfast or professoring at a coastal university with students from all over the world! Religious studies, anthropology, anything international has the scope that keeps you humming. It may be time for you to let go of confusion and step up to the plate!

Saturn travels from 16 to 27 degrees of Sagittarius now through Nov 2017. Those of you with your natal Saturn in those degrees of Sagittarius will be having your SATURN RETURNS! Saturn retrogrades over 21 to 27 degrees, so you with Saturn in those degrees will have a three time pass over your Saturn. Some people skip right through their Saturn Returns, others moan and groan, working hard to sort out their lives, it crimping their style for awhile. In Sagittarius it will concern professional matters, life Path choices, education, where to live, travel, religious and spiritual matters, securing your Faith, judgements of all kinds – for and against. Truth and trust will figure in keenly, ethics of blogs and storytelling, publishing. Who you will go with can seem a fateful decision. Take good care of yourself. Own the confidence you have earned, you have already come a long way.

Saturn is Capricorn’s planet, expecting seeable results on time. It can have a harsh manner, be cool and aloof – their praise is well earned and means a lot. Saturn in Sagittarius is more flexible, but still wants a good job done. Let that Sagittarian smile come through to ease the way! Knees may suffer from hard long Sag treks, but if you are lucky you may lose some weight around your hips! Be kind to your liver – eat healthy, get regular exercise, drink little alcohol.

Jupiter in Libra is a volatile Fire in Air combination, loves to carry on getting to know you. Sagittarius wouldn’t have it any other way! Next! Libra loves cross cultural and Jupiter is Sag’s own planet. They have both traveled and could exchange notes, like this could just go on forever. They could travel together; both may support foreign exchange students. They may even have mutual friends and business connections at great distances! Libra is often beautiful, graceful, has superb balance, and Sag has an open friendly style, great at sports! Libra isn’t usually a gamer or better, but with Jupiter in its sign, and a Sagittarian hanging about, a few chances may be taken and some lotto tickets bought and the race won! Oh, and good luck at the dog show!

Happy Birthdays, Sagittarians! May your new year be blessed in every way!

Sagittarius, PathFinder!

Young Maasai giraffes at play, learning to use their long legs. Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. By Travel Photographer Matt Wicks!

Young Maasai giraffes at play, learning to use their long legs. Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. By Travel Photographer Matt Wicks!

Sagittarius – Big dogs, spirited horses, magnificent elephants, mighty moose, far traveling camels, far seeing giraffes!

Sagittarians sport infectious smiles and laughter, a twinkle in their eyes! The verve of one like December 10, 1830 Emily Dickinson: “To live is so startling it leaves little time for anything else.” Sagittarians have a indomitable vivacious Spirit! When the peddler comes to town, the children merrily follow, skipping and playing! Games will be played. Parents will buy them toys! The entertainment begins and goes long into the night time around the fire, wonderful stories to be told, news to be shared! Some may even follow the peddler out of town, off on an adventure that lasts a lifetime!

Chiron the healing and teaching centaur – half human, half horse, tutored the great heroes of Greece. Among his charges were non less than Achilles, Acteon, Jason and Hercules. Due to Chiron’s accidental wound, and immortality, he suffered greatly, learned about healing in great depth. Story has it as a baby, Aesculapius was given to centaur Chiron, a strange yet wise creature, half-human half-horse, who was famous for his skills in medicine. Chiron brought up Aesculapius and became his mentor. Aesculapius became the god of medicine, the one with the serpent on his Staff.

Whether it is a walking staff or a physician’s staff, it signifies being able to find your way, to live. It points direction, is a Pathfinder, a Seer. It looks far and wide ahead with uncanny vision, makes wise choices. Optimism is natural, a calculated gamble is engaged, and lucky, often wins. A human perspective per Mark Twain 11.30.1835: Nothing that grieves us can be called little: by the eternal laws of proportion a child’s loss of a doll and a king’s loss of a crown are events of the same size. The height and width of Sag vision gives them a greater range of comparison, seeing things side by side that others don’t see at all. Philosophers and Oracles.

The centaurian horse, gives a robust strength, and the ability to travel far and more safely. Having horses was considered a turning point in ancient civilizations. In Africa or India that may be a powerful elephant that can build villages. If you are a hiker it may be your big smart dog protector, its loyalty a special factor! Sagittarians have such a broad experience from their travels, they have a meaningful wisdom.

When Sagittarians choose their work, they focus like a laser! Laziness, procrastination fall away as they become one pointed and don’t falter. They are an inspiration to others who then follow them! When they choose a moral path, a spiritual point of view, they need to be kind. The weakness can be to judge, be self righteous, narrow minded. As judges in courts, they are often famed for their fairness and inclusive solutions.

Sagittarians are not always the marrying type. They need to be able to move around. A travel business, import/export, ministering over a territory, overseas missions, teaching internationally, maybe the Peace Corps, are potentials. They are always hungry to learn more, from everyday basics to spiritual linguistics! Their partner needs to be flexible, and to keep up. Traveling Sagittarians can often live with little to no finances. You need to be comfortable with that, and be able to be uncomfortable at times. Most Sagittarians are fabulously healthy. If there is trouble, hips/sciatica, liver & weight are likely involved. But if you aren’t a Sag, it’s another story. If you have the travelers’ bed and breakfast, a chain of hotels, and travelers come to you, you may be wealthy! Then you can travel in style wherever and whenever you want!

When they do choose a home, it may have a grand view, large, very large windows. A high ceiling is likely, skylights. A broad deck, balcony would do. Casual comfort and nature tones. A meeting space and guest rooms for visiting friends. ThanksGiving is their convivial time of year, and their constellation is also called the Teacup! Don’t be surprised to see trunks and magical covered baskets, art and art pieces collected from all over the world. A library covering the entire wall. Landscaping that takes care of itself, or a ranch with the finest race horses and great dogs!

It’s exhilarating to learn, to travel the world, survive, be inspired! Eyeglasses, binoculars, zoom lenses, telescopes all extend our vision! Take pictures, record videos, write books and blogs, publish the novel you wrote while you journeyed! BE the Guide! Share your savoir faire.

I feel that something’s coming, and it’s not just in the wind.
It’s more than just tomorrow, it’s more than where we’ve been,
It offers me a promise, it’s telling me “Begin”,
I know we’re needing something worth believing in.

Happy Birthdays, Sagittarians!

Sagittarius horse lovers, son and mother, the Armstrongs, rescue foal named Texas at Shingletown CA.

A lot of Sagittarians love horses. Travis Armstrong works with Texas, a rescued foal, in Shingletown, California. His mother, Palomino Armstrong, rescues orphaned foals and raises them in her house. Due to the need for regular feedings, Palomino hardly sleeps—and if she does, she has a bed set up in the horse nursery.

Thank you for all your teachings. Stand tall!

Happy Birthdays, Capricorns!

Classy Capricorn Kate Middleton in perfect Christmas hat!

Holiday Kate! Classy Catherine Elizabeth “Kate” Middleton, born Jan 9, 1982, is now formally known as Her Royal Highness Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. She is Capricorn with sugar and spice! Her Moon is in Cancer opposite her Capricorn Sun, they in TSquare with Saturn are cautious, conservative, law abiding. AND, she has Mercury, and Venus retrograde in Aquarius stirring mischief! They trine Mars in Libra, feisty; they square Jupiter, she thinks for herself, outspoken at times; they sextile the planet of Aquarius, Uranus, not your average citizen and gets away with it! See that happy smile?! Generally she would be a good match for a redhead, but they do have their challenges. See Prince William’s chart.

Kate has had a major impact upon British and American fashion which has been termed the “Kate Middleton effect.” What she wears, people try to buy! However true to natural Capricorn instincts to thrift, some now suggest that the so-called Kate Effect is merely exaggerated because of her penchant ‘for wearing styles that have long sold out’ and that ‘habit of choosing last season’s designs meant that those wishing to emulate her look had already missed out.’ But it does work in other ways! Remarkably, when her wedding dress was put on display at Buckingham Palace in the summer of 2011, the display helped to raise approximately £8million for the Royal Collection, as well as the charitable fund of the Duke and Duchess, and was reported to have drawn a record number of visitors. In 2012 Kate was selected as one of the “Most Influential People in the World” by Time magazine.

Her good works include her connections with Patron of Action on Addiction, Royal Patron of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, Royal Patron of The Art Room and Patron of the National Portrait Gallery, London. The Action program operates national treatment centers throughout the U.K. and brings support to those addicted as well as their families. The Art Room works with often troubled children and builds their self-esteem, confidence and independence through art. She’s a sweetheart. A letter she wrote to Fabian Bate, a young boy who passed away from cancer at age 12, now comforts his family as they grieve the loss of their son.

Do what you can in your own good way. Be a better dresser. Smile your smile however it might be. Give money if you’ve got it, your time if you don’t. Put some love in an envelope and send it. Hold someone in your good thoughts. Let people know out loud what you love about them, that you love them. Blessed be.

Capricorn’s Sacred Practice!

Capricorn, Ancient Sacred Practice, December Full Moon Ritual, Meditation Circle

Whether you are in solitary practice, are part of a Circle, go to Church, have a spiritual teacher, or just Be, is perfect. At different times of your life you may embrace one or all of these choices and prosper spiritually. Your Soul knows what to do when.

Sacred Law, the 7th Ray  Spiritual practice may be foremost. Respecting elders and earth wisdom comes into play. Time is a law to be used with grace and fervor! There is only so much, yet there is no need to rush. Acceptance is an abiding law; what will be will be. Humility, love of all beings exactly where they are at is a challenge, and so too, knowing when we don’t have to play with them either. Knowing our limits and that we can’t be there for everyone all of the time, or maybe not at all, is healthy practice. Divine Order at times presents itself with clarity right between our eyes! This, then that. That’s all there is. Period.

29 Year Saturn Returns The first 29 years are self discovery. How does this human body thingy work?! Honoring the voice in you that knows what you love and do best. Being yourself, not as others would wish you to be. Let your skin feel the wind. Consternation versus success. Some vexing, but steady gains too.

The second 29 is doing what you do best if you found your heart’s way in that first 29. Earn your keep. Usually around 50, many find themselves to have become ‘elders’ of the tribe. Mentoring, giving back, making things different. Sometimes failures of the previous generations are corrected. A more generous Spirit is released.

The third 29 is teaching the teachers how to teach. Comforting them through their failures, encouraging them to learn through it, be inspiring. They see your calm strength or how you handle it when you or life goes nutty. Life has natural ups and downs. Sometimes when we are down is when our most profound power is upon us. We learn to laugh more. Life is serious and funny as Hell! Your knee pads are getting a good workout ~ praying for insight, giving thanks for blessings, and resting when you need to!

Commitment is a life theme. It might be to the kid down the block, giving that single smile when you see them each day. To your children. To your mate. Don’t put yourself in jeopardy situations where you are triggered to misbehave. Part of your practice is self discipline. Take it to work with you. Focus and stay sharp. Pay attention to those around you. Humans are part of your life work too. Decide to take good care of yourself. Stay on an even keel, and do frolic and blow off steam occasionally!

You Capricorns are treasured! You decide and you do it. Without looking like it, you get more done than ten other people combined. No wasted motion, only what’s needed. Your foundations are solid. You are so loved. Not only are you loving, but you show it in so many ways that make our lives more sanely livable. What a beautiful Sacred Practice. Thank you.

NEW Moon, Last of 2014

Last of 2014, Capricorn Winter Solstice NEW MOON!!
Sunday Dec 21 at 5:36 PM Pacific – 0 Capricorn 06

Our New Moon is on the first day of Capricorn, Winter Solstice, Yule! For many this is the real New Year! This New Moon will be the third of Five in a row that start their signs, 2014 Scorpio, Sagittarius and Capricorn, and 2015 Aquarius and Pisces, all at ZERO degrees! As we finish the long term challenge of Uranus square Pluto seven times, these zero degrees are like little booster shots! They remind us new beginnings are here. We can activate them by our new choices. They are freeing us from old dilemmas as the past fades, our sights are on the fresh possibilities to come!

FIVE planets, a stellium in Capricorn in a large conjunction, one following the other! Capricorn concentration and five ways to say it! Heart of dedication, the Matriarch and Patriarch united, literal words of Wisdom, seeking to the Core, Beauty and Beast! Both humble and powerful. Timeless structures for protection, foundations of integrity.

Moon and Sun conjunct Mercury. Mercury is leaving the Sun, faster moving, while the Moon will soon catch up with Mercury. Both have grabbed, or been infused by, a bit of Light at the heart and are carrying it forward. Mercury has the words and story; Moon gives the nurturing it takes to support it as it grows.

Mercury is more closely conjunct Pluto than the New Moon! Four signs in a row, Cap, Aquarius, Pisces and Aries, Pluto is strongly linked with Mars, Chiron and Uranus at 12 and 13 degrees! Mars and Uranus are in what we call a Mutual Reception, in each other’s signs! Potent! Both break up old patterns and delight in new times, new ways, now! Chiron sits midpoint between, extremely sensitive to the needs for planetary, even Spiritual change. It is sextile Pluto in Capricorn, knowing timing means everything. It calls for compassion in every moment. Pluto in Capricorn may protect the old ways unless shown what’s better, really better, not just good sounding. Trick is to listen to all ideas, use the old as a powerful framework, springboard, to step forward from. Pluto in Cap is expert at recycling, renovation! Mercury has a lot to talk about.

Venus separating conjunct Pluto. At 14 degrees Capricorn, it is just leaving the 12/13 degree planets, spreading the blessings. It sees the values in well placed power, experience. It celebrates the healing and changes to come. Adds a touch of class to new buildings and projects. She adds desire for Grace, to make the Beauty, attracts funding.

In contrast to the tight Saturn ruled Capricorn Stellium, and the rest of the planets, Jupiter (the orange planet at left) stands alone. Truly. It is separate in space, and makes no aspect to any other planet. See how all the connection lines in the center of the chart are to one side of the chart? By definitions, this chart pattern could be called a Bucket or Fan configuration. Technically it fits right between the two. It is claimed a lone planet is the point of emphasis, stands out, and in sunny Leo, it just might. However, unconnected, unsupported, it may just shine and fizzle. Or, unfettered, it may powerfully rise above at will! Jupiter in Leo is a tremendous teaching and leadership combination.

This New Moon, most closely tied with Saturn and in Saturn’s sign, launches Saturn’s sign change into Sagittarius Dec 23! During the New Moon, Saturn, the ruler of the Capricorn Stellium, is still in Scorpio. In some old time astrology, a semi sextile, the link that connects them, is said to affect health and wealth. Scorpio, the sign Saturn is in, is the sign of both! With Saturn at maturity, 29 degrees Scorpio, there are endings, completion, a sense of critical timing. The New Moon is at zero degrees Capricorn, an entire new beginning, by sign and degree! Time to let go and move on! Since Capricorn cherishes archetypes and reveres what’s time tested and true, keep those sacred reminders tucked away. Give due respect, renew your vows. Honor them with a new worthy approach.

Sun, Moon and Mercury sextile Neptune in Pisces, planet and sign of Spirit and Magic! Nurturing words, tender insights, mercy and empathy gentle the Soul. Listening becomes an embracing of difference. The heart sings a song and dreams can really come true.

Winter Solstice, Yule, New Moon (truly the long darkest night), and season shift. Winter Solstice official SUNDAY Dec 21 at 3:30 PM Pacific; New Moon Zero degrees Capricorn (5 Planet Stellium) at 5:36 PM Pacific! That period of time there will be WORLD WIDE MEDITATION. For some it will be an Initiation and for many an immersion into a deeper understanding of Capricorn. May the Highest be done. Blessed be.

FULL WOLF MOON Portal! First Moon of 2015!
Sunday Jan 4 at 8:53 PM Pacific – 14 Cancer 31

Full Wolf Moon Capricorn Cancer

GRAND SQUARE IN CARDINAL SIGNS! It’s tight, 12,13, 14 degrees. There are the four squares at the corners and the oppositions crossing diagonally corner to corner. Moon and Sun make the primary opposition, being the Full Moon formation. This one has a little more kick than usual because the Sun in Capricorn has just been with Pluto. Secrets are known, maybe had some sex, monies discussed, vested with power, healing given and received. All is still not known, but the potential has been scanned and is being readied. Trust and sharing has been livened. Or if it’s called for, suspicion admitted. Time to shed the denial, the Phoenix to rise.

Moon in Cancer is going crazy wanting to protect, but is a tad too far away to interfere. Watch and wait. Feel and offer support as soon as possible. Or, just let go. Take a few days off and see what shakes. Children are of prime concern because some are too young to make all their decisions on their own. Foresee as much as you can. Fortify them, then pray they choose well on their own. Let them know about inappropriate behaviors, their own or others’, to move away from jeopardy as soon as their radar alerts them. Not a time to make loans or invest in too-good-to-be-true ventures.

Moon in Cancer, it’s own sign, opposite Sun/Pluto in Capricorn. Moon is intuitional and can read secretive Pluto. Sometimes. Pluto knows what Moon wants. Sun in Capricorn knows there are undercurrents and may be embarrassed, may avoid getting into the fray. Getting to work may be their antidote. Moon may ask for more than can be given. Pluto may play this scenario with intent to heal in the long term. So, as possible, get the cards on the table. It may seem insolvable at first, but stay with good will. Listen to differences without judgment as well as you can. And some of it is the Serenity Prayer ~ give us the serenity to accept what cannot be changed, the courage to change what can be changed, and the wisdom to know the one from the other.

Cardinal Signs make new beginnings! They are leaders. Aries is the primal fire starter, alive with ideas they instantly get going! Cancer cares for us. No one has to tell them to. Chicken soup appears. Libras can’t help themselves; they have to meet you and make relationships community wide. Capricorn works by nature. They are Builders, ascend the heights, are intrepid without thinking about it.

This Grand Square is crisscrossed by the Libra/Aries Nodes, with Uranus in Aries at the South Node! Uranus in Aries is a fire starter of ideas like none other. At the South Node it brings ideas forward from the Past, but in new clothes! They are the same, but more of the current times, even of the future! it may take some adjusting to not shy away, but to blink your eyes a few times, then jump on it! Flip these across to Libra and your ideas will be finessed in finery and taken as valuable consorts to ideas already on the books or proposed. All of a sudden, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts!

Chiron at 13 Pisces is in a Bow pattern with Moon and Sun, that’s trine the Moon, sextile the Sun. Chiron suffers sometimes, especially in Pisces, there are matters of the Spirit/Soul. Disappointments with ones we believed in, the World. Sometimes the Light is thin. As we become Teachers, we see how much it takes to be one and we start to understand. As we go through centuries, aeons of time, we see how much change there has been and that it is no snap of the fingers. Just like from being a child to becoming a parent ourselves. And one day we do healings, another step of Being. We make relationships, do the business of life.

In harmony with Moon, Chiron resolves feelings that got tangled, jammed to a standstill in a weeping puddle. Pisces is the most delicately tuned of all the water signs. Cancer remembers and often retains the residue of old hurts. Pisces sees your pain and the pain of the one who caused the pain. They sometimes can dissolve and wash away the chain of the generations. A gift beyond measure.

In step with Sun, Chiron sees the indwelling need to be in the Heart. Capricorn has a sense of duty, sometimes one’s family’s heritage, sometimes to one’s natural own self, sometimes divine. If we are falsely living the expectations of another, Pisces sensitizes us to this discrepancy, sometimes making it impossible to continue. What a relief. This good aspect also shows us initial possibilities to help us start anew. All it may take is a small change that was right there for the taking all along. You can do it. If you are all alone, give yourself a hug and start living that pure purpose.

Mercury conjunct Venus in Aquarius sextile Saturn newly in Sagittarius! With a twinkle in the eye, a lift of the eyebrow, a shake of the head, a silly snort, sing out that crazy idea! Sure, some will laugh. Why not? When they get over it, get down to business and tell them why it’s better than sliced bread! Aquarius likes a little kink in their coffee, and Saturn in Sag has a tad of devilishness behind that get-it-done don’t’-mess-with-me facade. But do tell why your idea will work for more than 5 minutes, no matter how entertaining it is! Aquarius loves world changers, and Sag will travel the world with it! Everyone will be a little intoxicated with Saturn newly lifted out of Scorpio. Sagittarius is famous for its sense of well being and optimism! Time to ordain the new program!

We are having the first taste of Saturn square Neptune in Pisces. It will be exact first of three Nov 26, 2015. We’ve been talking about Chiron in Pisces. Neptune is the planet of Pisces. Saturn rules bedrock and ice; Neptune rules the ocean and tides, constant change. Sometimes it is out of control and Saturn may help stabilize. Sometimes it operates on whim while Saturn wants reason. Saturn finds out there doesn’t always need to be a reason, it just is. Neptune’s intuition can save Saturn’s bacon let alone hours of work. In some ways they aren’t so far apart. Neptune is becoming one with God; Saturn does honor by being the planet of Spiritual Law, Divine Order, the GateKeeper, Guardian. See more!

Father Sun will be conjunct the Harp Star, Vega, the brightest star in the constellation Lyra. It is the second brightest star in the northern celestial hemisphere! An old time astrologer wrote ‘It is said to give an harmonious, poetical and developed nature, fond of music and apt in science and art, but inclined to theft.’ Woops. So keep your pinkies to yourself and no hacking! It is also said to be linked to magic, divine spells, and charisma! Another says ‘Vega provides a multiplicity of opportunity. Our bright star with Lyra’s brightest star just may make it happen!

Lady Moon is conjunct Sirius, the Dog (WOLF) Star, The Chieftain’s Star, the brightest star in our night sky! If you have a clear night, you WILL be able to see them close together depending on your location and time of night! Auspiciously, Sirius rising signaled the flooding of the Nile, guaranteeing the land’s fertility! Some say it’s a star of success, can be on the extravagant side. With the Moon, it is said to bring success in business, good health, beneficial changes in home or business. It heightens the beneficial qualities of the planet it is affiliated with! Star expert Bernadette Brady (Venus/Jupiter Aquarius) says gain is far more than expected — the mundane becoming sacred. I hope it is your good fortune to have it well placed in your birth chart and that this Full Wolf Moon is well connected with your chart too!

Time to step into the Portal, across the Threshold…perfect time to walk a labyrinth in the MoonLight!

Sagittarius NEW MOON GATEWAY!
Saturday Nov 22 at 4:32 AM Pacific – 0 Sagittarius 07

See  FULL Long Nights Moon, Last FM of 2014

New Moon the first fiery day of Sagittarius the Gateway to Space of Mind and Adventure! This New Moon will be the second of Five in a row that start their signs, 2014 Scorpio, Sagittarius and Capricorn, and 2015 Aquarius and Pisces, all at ZERO degrees! As we finish the long term challenge of Uranus square Pluto seven times, these zero degrees are like little booster shots! They remind us new beginnings are here. We can activate them by our new choices. They are freeing us from old dilemmas as the past fades, our sights are on the fresh possibilities to come!

The New of Sagittarius is the promise of walking new territory, adventure, exploration. Perusing the philosophies of the world opens us to a bigger world, filling it with more blessings with every step we take. Accepting the challenge of seeking more just and ethical solutions for the long term engages every pore of our Spirit! Taking the risk of teaching leadership, coaching to success, requires every mindful breath to bring your student, patient, client to a comfortable place so they can make effective personal change. Acknowledging needed health care takes faithful courage as we walk the coals of fear. We burn the dross of our minds away to enjoy the physical prowess possible, no matter your age or circumstances. Be the best YOU can be.

The New Moon is opposite the fixed star Alcyone, the central star in the Pleiades, now at zero Gemini! It’s not considered to be an easy star and the Pleiades are also called the Weeping Sisters. Words associated with Alcyone are ambition, honor versus trouble with opposite sex; homosexuality, disgrace, loss, sorrow. Since the star is opposite the New Moon, these are things to be aware of, taken into consideration. Someone across the table or at a distance may need your help. Or someone may leave you, or you them. Extending yourself may bring an alliance, but negotiations may fade. Let go of attachments to what is past; form better stronger bonds in your new circumstances. Eyes open, learn what you can, give yourself a hug and keep going.

If you are just learning about Fixed Stars or are an aficionado, please see Rob Tillett’s great post and list of Fixed Stars by sign and degree!

There are three planetary combinations in this New Moon chart that involve ALL the planets!

First is the Moon, Sun, Venus beginning the journey together at 0, 0 and 7 degrees squaring Neptune at 4 degrees. Think now where you would like to Journey by next year’s Sagittarian New Moon! This is the beginning. Note on your calendar what you start this November that could take a year or could be the core beginning that would lead to many avenues of success, happy accomplishment, make you feel super good about yourself! Circle the spot, the destination is X, firm but somewhat unknown as well, likely more than you expected! Plan a celebration!

Venus will dance with delight; the ballet may be your first Marathon! Leap onto a horse, go the distance! See life from a new height, a mountain top! Play cards with those crazy kids, the seniors at the park. Grow some exotic fruits with special health benefits! Learn the names of people who speak a different language. Give gratitude for delightful differences that bless our world.

Sagittarians do have their opinions, adamantly at times. Neptune doesn’t always, but sometimes gives its life for its beliefs when it does. Sag shoots the arrow, but square Neptune may miss the mark. Neptune diffuses, becomes one with another’s Soul, develops compassion. It may become ok to be different, and come to see the possibility of a greater sharing for it. Neptune may appear weak to a robust Sag, but perhaps Neptune relaxes at the spa, enjoying Sag’s show. They can chat later with the stars shining over the hot spring. Wide eyed Sag may reignite a worn out or lazy Neptune. Sag may then need to bolt off to see what’s next in the Universe, especially if things go too slow. Sensitive Neptune may need solitude and retreats within for a while. It’s all good.

Second, Venus links us to the 11, 12, 13 set of Pluto, Uranus and Chiron. Venus in Sagittarius couldn’t be happier trine Uranus in Aries! Where are you going? Which flight? New worlds to see, fun with friends. Yes, Uranus is in the last part of its square with Pluto, but Venus blesses with her love and optimism. Uranus/Pluto has pulled down old thinking. Venus offers multiple valuable options, and with Uranus, are surprisingly doable, genius results worth the investment! New communities are springing up serving special sectors, sharing mutual goals. Make YOUR plans! Together much more can get done.

Third, the rest of the planets, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn, at 20, 21, 22 and 26, are collectively coordinating energy, productive! Mercury in Scorpio is not wasting breath or words conjunct Saturn. Timing is of the essence. It’s thinking about fathers, commitments, career, age, building, real estate, monies, all important things. It realistically appraises and thinks of duration, archetypes, long term presence, healing, relationship failures and strengths.

These two in that almost square with Jupiter are more than usually thoughtful. Sometimes it’s funny, exaggerated, misjudging that it will have little impact and blow by. Sometimes it’s serious and pesky, possibly downright depressing. There may be a sad announcement. But gather yourself. Notice and face up to weak spots, and cut to the chase. Prevention and preparation make a justifiable difference. Is it a mere foible, or will inattention have lingering consequences….

Mars in Capricorn is sextile the Mercury/Saturn conjunction. Mars is in what used to be Mutual Reception with Saturn in Scorpio, in each other’s signs. Mars used to rule Scorpio, and there is a resonance. Mars is just running on top while Scorpio tunnels deep. Saturn and Capricorn demand results. Mars isn’t noted for perseverance, but does get things ignited and doesn’t waste time. Scorpio adds a little oil and either it’s slippery, greases the wheel, or is on fire! Saturn/Cap contains the energy, puts it to work! Mercury’s intense focus is delighted things are getting done quickly with recycling and little expense. Saturn in Scorpio may hold on too tight too long. Letting go is part of the equation here. Look behind the Mask.

Mars is kicking dust and rocks at Jupiter, flirting, actually. Jupiter In Leo has prowess Mars can respect, and joins in for a bit. Mars in Capricorn can be a super trainer, and Jupiter in Leo is a terrific coach! The combination probably won’t stick, they are inconjunct, an oblique acquaintance. Both are tops, and there’s not enough room for two. Leo doesn’t usually like being challenged, especially when the other is right, and Mars in Cap doesn’t make too many mistakes. Thrifty Mars in Cap is put off by Leo’s seeming time-wasting melodrama, added expenses. Jupiter has its opinions, and Mars is not always respectful of the almighty holy leader’s point of view! Mars in Cap dares to point out the facts. If Jupiter can console itself by hiring Mars as a temp adviser, Jupiter can think on things and cleverly make up their own mind and do adjustments later – wiser, better informed, looking good!

FULL LONG NIGHTS MOON! Last 2014 Full Moon!
Saturday Dec 6 at 4:27 AM Pacific – 14 Gemini 18

This is the last Full Moon Portal of 2014. The mid of Gemini ~ Sagittarius is the Gateway. Word and Meaning.

Open and maximize your span to its fullest dimension. Scoop the sky with your wings wide to gather all the goodness you can reach! Smile as broadly as possible; let no one miss the touch of your love. Reach out with your handshake, step into Life fully. Extend your perimeter. Send your words around the world to quicken the Spirit.

Mutable Signs, Gemini, Sagittarius and Pisces make up the Full Moon T SQUARE! Their gift is to roll the log, check out everything in sight, wonder what it all means, speculate on the web of Life! Mother Moon in Gemini talks with siblings, connects the family. She chats with the neighbors uniting support and diversity. She hears the feelings behind the words and more sweetly brings people under her nurturing wings. Just a few words can make such a difference. Mobility, getting out and about, brings a breath of fresh air.

Positive backdrop. Moon has just been sextile Uranus in Aries, and Mercury/Sun have just trined Uranus, so that getting out, having healthy freedom, refreshes the Spirit. Friends are supportive, and we are good to them. New friends have been made, crazy wonderful ideas have been bounced around, excellent solutions have popped up.

In the preceding 5 days, Venus in Sagittarius trined its ruler Jupiter, in Leo, and has had some terrific ideas that offer inspiration. Lucky, valuable, attractive, worth the effort. Add those to the mix! Maybe a little trip…. And Mars has just entered Aquarius! Perfect time for new and different, new friends, groups, or great to be finally on your own! Works both ways!

Moon having been inconjunct Pluto in Capricorn has triggered some deeper insights, hinted at necessities regardless of our other wishes, perhaps at entrapment or secrets too long held. Maybe they need some fresh air too. Do not talk reactively for the sake of talking, fearfully compulsively blabbering. Be resourceful with solutions, have a plan for getting them done. If it isn’t an emergency, tinker at it a bit at a time, in a timely fashion. Offer solutions that relieve the pressure. Invite people to take a new look, give it a try. Old ways become habits. Give the new stuff enough time to sink in so they can start to feel the change. They will have hope as they see things progress.

Mercury and Father Sun in Sagittarius opposite the Moon, gives greater meaning to our points of view. Mercury is the planet of Gemini, so this Full Moon is truly linked across the table. While one speaks, the other really hears and knows the importance of what you are saying. More generous opinions are formed and shared. Teaching is more than facts, though they too are important. Plans can be made from the hope of faith. We can go further from home than anticipated, discover Good Will in so many hearts. Solutions to old matters changes our life in profound ways. Though not related by degrees, Sun and Jupiter are in each other’s signs, mutual reception! That lends Luck, protection, a big spirited air to things!

Chiron in Pisces is at the 90 degree midpoint of the Full Moon axis, the point of the T SQUARE! Chiron is the projection of the energy of the axis, and the one reaching out, the point of input to the axis.  Either way, it puts its stamp on what goes out and what comes in. As the wounded one, it calls for compassion, adaptation to its duress. As healer, it is always calling for courage to address what ails us, seeks a better way of caring for difficulties. As teacher, it asks us to master our teaching, help people to listen, vary our delivery techniques, know when to let the patient, student, client move on to another teacher or to celebrate them to go on by themselves! In the Magi system, Chiron is the #1 marriage factor. Question your alliances fully, enrich your relationships with kind words, be open to your partner’s ideas and be willing to give them a trial period. New ideas will come from that too! This will pay off in business as well.

Schedule an appointment or two to chat over your options. Share your ideas with people who can take them even further!

Sagittarius 2014 Full Long Nights Moon Astrology Chart

The next New Moon is on Winter Solstice Day, December 21, starting Capricorn! As 2014 finishes, Capricorn carries us into 2015. Yule blessings to you all! May your candles burn brightly, Spirit keep you, and you keep us, deep in your Heart.

Planetary Backdrop

Uranus square Pluto Continues…. May 27, 2010 to March 16, 2015  The major outer planet shake-up combo, Uranus in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn, continues throughout 2014, finishing Mar 16, 2015.  Two exact aspects are formed in 2014.  These two are five and six of the seven, April 21 and December 14, at 13 and 12 degrees.  We are almost done with them, just a little more than a year to go. Time to finesse financial affairs. The series has been as low as at 6 degrees; the last aspect, Mar 16.2015, will be at 15 degrees.  At one time or another it has probably activated something in your chart.  Or maybe it hasn’t yet and will these last times.

There will be several planetary challenge activations of the square as the Sun, Mercury and Venus go through Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, making their annual circuit, and as Mars challenges from Libra and Capricorn on its two year circuit.  Planets in your charts from 7 to 15 degrees in those Cardinal signs will be strongly affected as the transit planets go through.

Aspects Tallies  Per the classical major aspects of astrology, of 22 aspects, there were 12 favorable aspects and 10 difficult aspects in 2013.  2014 will have 16, 7 favorable, 9 difficult.  2015 has 13, 3 favorable, 10 difficult and of 16 in 2016 the ratio is 3:13!  I’m encouraging my business clients to get stable and well founded before 2015 and 2016, be ready to hold the fort and ride the waves.  Be in jobs and businesses or investments that thrive in hard times and in recovery.  Things happening since 2010, and now, are not over and done with.
2014 brings two outer planet sign changes.  Jupiter leaves Cancer and jumps into fiery Leo, telling taller tales than usual! performance ratings will be high!  For the majority of the year, Saturn, the TimeKeeper, stays in the comfort of dark Scorpio where it tends to finances and healing.  Dec 23 it moves into Sagittarius, to get out into the world and travel a bit. Actually, the Goat doesn’t mind those mountains a bit! It is surefooted and frugal by nature.

Aspects of Note, Planetary Patterns!

NEW Year’s Day 2014 opens with a Capricorn NEW Moon that has a 5 planet Capricorn Stellium!  That’s double New!  Capricorn focus and intentions are on work, fathering, building, climbing.  Solidarity, conservation, protection, right timing.  Bending the knees, but not burdened.  Archetypes, archaeology, human and spiritual law.  Profound tests, responsible leadership, senior wisdom.

Wedge to Cardinal Grand Square

Allowing a 5 degree range, Jupiter retrograde in Cancer opens the year starting a Wedge pattern (opposition base with a trine/sextile third point planet) Jan 6, and activating the Uranus square Pluto for an extended time!  It will be opposite Pluto at 12 degrees Jan 31, trine Chiron at 11 degrees Feb 5.  Chiron holds the energy as it sextiles Pluto at 13 degrees, the 5th of five times, Feb 25.   That same day, Jupiter having been slowly retrograding, for the 2nd time, and intensely in a same degree station, squares Uranus at 10 degrees, turns direct only 5 days later, makes the 3rd, last of 3 squares to Uranus April 20 at 13 degrees!  It opposes Pluto at 3:58 PM Pacific!  It is making a 5 minute, not degrees (60 minutes in a degree), exact outer planet T Square with the Uranus/Pluto square all day the 20th!  April 21, Uranus squares Pluto the 5th of the seven times.  You see how tight this pattern is.  Plus, April 8, Mars retrograde in Libra has come back, forming a 12 day Grand Cardinal Square!  April 20/21, Mars now at 14 Libra, is the pepper in the pot, making it a hot one degree CARDINAL GRAND SQUARE!  This one won’t be swept under the rug!  In order:

  • Jan 31 and Feb 5 Jupiter, Chiron, Pluto Wedge is first – Secrets will out, healing will happen, plans will be made.  Step up to the plate, you can do it!
  • Feb 25 Chiron sextile Pluto – Fear of power and success, betrayals, jealousy, spite, scorn, revenge, have a chance to be let go.  Time to let go of denial, do honest business with yourself and others.
  • Feb 25 to April 20 Jupiter square Uranus – You could run away, far, far away, but it won’t get the job done.  Not usually.  But if necessary to save yourself until you are stronger, do it.  You may lose some friends and find others in unexpected places.  Shed the alliances that are no longer working.
  • April 20, 21 Cardinal Grand Square culminates – The temptation is to exaggerate, and that may be temporarily necessary to make your point, get people to think.  If you get heated, take time out immediately.  Don’t say or do something that can’t be taken back.  With Pluto in the mix there may be no forgiveness this lifetime!  Some will want their way and appear to use any means to get it.  Others will show extraordinary kindness in the face of great difficulty.  This Grand Cross involves personal and home and family matters, marriage type relationships and business.  There will be a lot on our plates.  Be informed.  Take your best stuff to the negotiating table.  Put yourself in the other person’s place, but stand your ground.  If negotiating can’t work, let it go with what Grace you can muster.  Avoid blaming; do your part.  Get what you can get in a good way, or don’t do it.  But if you do, know there will be a price down the road.

Here is the Grand Square (red square lines) chart on the 17th with Venus in the mix! She trines Jupiter, sextiles Pluto, semi sextiles Uranus, all at 13 degrees!  Carefully played, and choosing investments relative to this chart, plus having some good aspects in and to your own chart, in spite of the Grand Square, this could be a money maker! Good luck!

April 20 2014 Grand Cardinal Square Venus Astrology Chart

Also along this outer planet T Square trail is the sizzling electric Mar 30, 2014 Aries NEW MOON!  It is a double three planet stellium chart – three planets in Pisces, three in Aries!  The New Moon is at the cardinal signs T point of the Jupiter opposite Pluto – see the red triangle?!  The New Moon is conjunct Uranus, the planet of earthquakes and Lightning, a Wildcard!  There will be lively Uranus in Aries challenges in spite of momentary New Moon blahs.  Perhaps the vibrancy will be within.  Friendships will end and begin. You will likely have concern about finances, but be too busy or not have the patience to deal with them. Oddly, they might lie still, barely simmering, maybe the lull before the storm! Hopefully the promise is renewal. Sudden changes may unsettle, but be for the best in the long run.  Be careful with electrics, fires, weapons and planes.  Be cautious of too much trust or way too little, overdoing your exercise, over eating or not eating at all.  It may seem like a dash in a moment, but there could be unexpected long term consequences.  There could be courageous breakthroughs, or entirely missing the boat.  You can see this is a perverse set!  Bottom line is use your intuition in the moment. Don’t start something you can’t finish or will regret later – no tantrums. It is just as honorable to let go, not participate, though your feelings may go crazy wanting to stand up and shout! Be willing to move on.  To thine own Self be true.

May and June Jupiter links
Chiron and Saturn in a GRAND Water TRINE!

Jupiter comes into a 5 degree range May 3, May 14 exactly trines Chiron, the last time of three. May 24 Jupiter has moved forward totrine Saturn, the last time of three. May 20 is the closest configuration of all three at 18 Cancer 17.  June 12 Saturn trines Chiron, the 4th of five times, which carries on continuously within a degree until the final 5th of five aspects, Aug 5, completing the entire set.

This is the culmination of Jupiter’s tines to Chiron and Saturn! It is a marvelous business trine!  Jupiter is generally prosperous, has terrific ideas. Saturn is the guiding light, stabilizes, is the Builder. They are so happy together toward the same goals! Chiron is uncannily aware of pitfalls, and knows how to heal the problems, tends and perseveres, keeps the troops in good shape. At the personal level, it’s a great time to see your healers.

This could be a good marriage time, but there are details, so get practical astrological advice, and be sure things are marvelous to your chart as well. If it’s good, you will have a solid relationship, each contributing.  It may be a romance of seasoned partners, professionals, educators. Travel and different cultures could spice things up. There will be touching understandings, a deepening beyond words. Congratulations if this is your time!

This IS a WATER trine.  It’s steamy if with fire, hot tubs, or puts out fire. Sizzle then fizzle. Earth provides a good old barefooted play in the mud, or reroutes the creek. Water flows downhill, the course of least resistance – follow them! Install a pond on your property and stock it! Or get that soothing fish tank!  Air and water are San Francisco-foggy – lost, passing like ships in the night, or magic and mystic though softened and soggy. Water with water is immersion and baptism, totally merging, no need to speak. Follow the currents….

Aug, Sep Jupiter Makes Three Inconjuncts

  • Aug 14 to Neptune in Pisces – Allow the vision to expand and include ideas of other cultures
  • Aug 24 is when Jupiter is at the exact opposite midpoint between Pluto and Neptune, 8 Leo 44
  • Sep 5 to Pluto in Capricorn – Seek the unmitigated Truth and have fun doing it!  Funding may be right around the corner, literally!
  • Sep 14 is when Jupiter is at the exact opposite midpoint between Pluto and Chiron, 13 Leo 2
  • Sep 23 to Chiron in Pisces – When you thought there was no hope, the miracle becomes available.  But you have to look.

Inconjuncts are oblique aspects, when planets are 150 degrees of each other. They are to the side, just off center. There is extra perception as the environment is scanned, resulting in more accurate choices in context of the greater whole. When the wild ball comes at you, you can duck.  When you are alert to business or equipment advances, you can prepare to benefit from the upgrades, stepping into opportunities gracefully, with less cost.

Equidistant aspects are considered to be potent! Midpoints are not as commonly used in the US as they are in Europe, but they are even more powerful factors when triggered by a third planet! Since we have four planets in this sequence, there are two healthy midpoints, Aug 24, and Sep 14.  As the planets are moving these dates are when each of the three points are perfectly equidistant!

Jupiter and Neptune both like going places.  Jupiter is the traveler, body and mind, seeking right action, a broader perspective through learning.  Neptune travels in Spirit, meditation/mindlessness – another form of mind, seeking connection with the Soul, often crossing oceans to do it!  Jupiter expands, revels robustly! Races, rides horses, skis, skates while Pisces swims, rides the surf, sails!  But Neptune/Pisces sometimes sits until they become invisible even to themselves.  Jupiter can cheer up a laggard Neptune, give them ideas that the Neptune then drops into the subconscious to dream about.  Neptune sees the nuances and makes subtle coarse corrections that save the day!

With Pluto, Jupiter may have to dance quickly; the snake will strike if you tamper with it too much.  Better to tone it down a bit and match pace while prodding the reptile.  Yet Pluto is astute, especially in Capricorn, and sees the value of what’s being offered, even if they don’t use it the way Jupiter thinks they should.  There’s always a reason for our connections.  Pluto can take a wildly optimistic idea of Jupiter’s, distill it to core potential, sort out how to make it happen, profit from the results. We marvel at what they see and do. So if it seems like they are skeptical and didn’t really hear you, wait and see anyway.  Check back.  Think more on it yourself and bring more of your ideas back to the table too!

Jupiter is so well intended and healthy, usually, and Chiron is teacher/healer too, but some of their grace comes from having suffered.  Jupiter’s way is to educate you, get you moving, stretching your muscles to get you to reach for it!  Chiron is more quiet, serious, perhaps.  Daily it tends the sick, observes, works with deeper consciousness, sometimes at Death’s door.  In Pisces it doesn’t leap to conclusions, but flows here and there seeing context, primordial wounding. Sometimes it is important not to stress the patient/client/friend before they are ready. The body can’t heal if we don’t let it. Some things can’t be fixed, or it may take many lifetimes. They understand that and give comfort as can be done. When they can, they will meet you in the dreamtime. If you get bogged down, forget your direction, as healer or client, Jupiter will come by, snorting fire, and blow life right back into you! If Jupiter is the lame horse, take yourself to the healer! Chiron will scold you a tad as they kindly tend you.

Dec 14 brings the last exciting aspect of the year. It is the sixth, NEXT TO LAST, Uranus square Pluto!  Since it is in a retrograde to direct station, the aspect is held closely FOR 3 MONTHS, at about 1 degree, continuously until the final seventh aspect March 16, 2015!

Two Sign Changes, Fire Signs Leo & Sagittarius!

Beautiful Budweiser Clydesdales - Grace and Strength
Budweiser’s beautiful brutes lead with amazing grace and strength!

2014’s sign changes go well with the Chinese Year of the Horse!  Leo loves horse races/polo, and Sagittarius rules large animals, horses!

July 16 Lucky Jupiter leaves Cancer, enters Leo, the sign of GOLD!  Jupiter loves races, stretching its Pegasus wings!  Time to travel in style to all the hot places!  Leo is athletic and Jupiter loves games; both love to win!  Both like to share and teach.  Speeches will be peppered with personal anecdotes, stories will be inspirational!  Start an athletic school, a training center, do coaching!  The meaning of life is important from the rights of the tiniest beings to fanatic believers.  It will be the time for super heroes!  Market graphs may have quite highs and lows!  Climate changes may seem to speed up, especially the melting part.  Drought, fires, water could be serious matters.  We may need water consolation as well as conservation.  Be plenty mindful where you choose to live for an extended time, like where you retire.  Learn to use the land well and how to generate your own climate, food and power as much as possible, or link up with people who can do that.  Permaculture skills will prove to be valuable.  Invest wisely for your future, your children’s future.  Against a serious economic backdrop, we are kicking it up a bit!  Entertainment will be glorious. Overconfidence will make big spending, gambling, tempting.  Know that Jupiter takes about a year through each sign.  Keep your long term investments trim, choose the medium home versus the luxury home or apt., eat less ice cream!  :)  You can always go bigger later if things stay up for you!  Jupiter’s next sign will be Virgo, starting Aug 11, 2015.  Then we will be trimming the fat, possibly have dry times. In the meantime, stay cool (it’s gonna be hot), stay true, have a great time!

Last time Jupiter was in Leo was Aug 2002 to Aug 2003.  Iraq was fought and conquered.  Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrates during reentry into the Earth’s atmosphere, killing all seven astronauts aboard.  In the wake of the Sep 11, 2001 attacks, the Department of Homeland Security, the largest U.S. government reorganization since the creation of the Department of Defense in 1947, was created.  Annika Sörenstam became the first woman to play the PGA Tour in 58 years.  In Mexico, the last ‘old style’ Volkswagen Beetle rolled off the assembly line.  The summer of 2003 was among the warmest in the last three centuries!  It was the first time temps over 100 degrees, highest ever, were recorded in the UK. France, hit hardest, had seven days of 104 degree temps, resulting in 14,802 heat-related deaths (mostly among the elderly); and there was a severe heat wave across Pakistan and India that peaked at 122 degrees!  Leo, Martha Stewart, was indicted.

Dec 23 Saturn enters Jupiter’s sign Sagittarius!  While Jupiter has been partying in Leo since July, Saturn has been finishing Scorpio.  Saturn in financial Scorpio sees what it has to pay for.  Romantic relationships will either fizzle as the party charm wears off and accountability happens, or things will take root with the spending level as it is.  Saturn in Sagittarius now knows what to plan for, all the way out to longevity and Social Security.  It is intent on education backed up by what has happened in the Past, statistics and research that point key directions.  Travel will be only as essential.  It may not be the time to start a travel business or import/export, unless it is for everyday items at the best price.  Rocks, walls, borders, glass, ice, may come to some sort of prominence.  Saturn and Sagittarius are quite acquainted since Sagittarius comes first, then Capricorn, Saturn’s sign in zodiacal order.  Sag loves its freedom, roams the world and places of expansion and learning.  Saturn gets back and does business, as their Father did.  This is the combination of both of those. The responsibility Saturn takes prospers from the perspectives it gained while traveling.  It builds well situated on the land, strong from the foundation to the roof, using perfect slopes and slants for rain or snow, sustainable for hard times.  It always builds a back door, when possible, a well structured-cellar.  Doubter, seasoned life walker, faith healer, all have valuable points of view.  Fearful or friendly, stay as open as possible to opportunities that may take you further than you ever expected.  It could be the Gateway of a lifetime!

Saturn will retrograde back into Scorpio June 14, 2015 to Sep 17, 2015, be in Sag two plus years, until it enters its own sign Capricorn, Dec 19, 2017.

Saturn was last in Sagittarius 27-29 years ago Nov ’85 to Feb ’88 and June to Nov ’88.  Windows 1.01 was first released on Nov 20, 1985, just three days after Saturn entered Sag.  The first international version 1.02, was released May 1986.

1986:  The first PC virus, Brain, starts to spread.  Space Shuttle Challenger disintegrates 73 seconds after launch, killing the crew of 7 astronauts, including schoolteacher Christa McAuliffe.  Halley’s Comet reaches its perihelion, the closest point to the Sun!  Chernobyl nuclear disaster.  Hands Across America: At least 5,000,000 people form a human chain from New York City to Long Beach, California, to raise money to fight hunger and homelessness.  The Oprah Winfrey Show premieres.
1987:  Harmonic Convergence!  Oct 19 Black Monday: Stock market levels fall sharply on Wall Street and around the world.  Thomas Knoll and John Knoll develop the first version of Photoshop.
1988:  NASA scientist James Hansen testifies to the Senate that man-made global warming had begun.   Al Qaeda is formed by Osama Bin Laden.  The Iran–Iraq War ends, with an estimated one million lives lost.

Horses! We ride; they serve. In times past they did work we couldn’t do ourselves. They have long been a symbol of going places on the winds of the Four Directions, whether of seasonal necessity, or simply wandering the beauty of our planet. Today, they are serving in a new way, as therapeutic beings. The Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.), a federally-registered nonprofit, was formed in 1969 for individuals with special needs.

There are Horses, and there are Horses! In these two new signs, take yourself places. Whether you are magnificent in your harness, possibly incredibly well cared for, or are roaming free, make it glorious! Take excellent care of yourself; you are a good animal too. Strut your stuff and get your bookings! See what’s next, what it’s all about! Call on the thunder of a Clydesdale; run like a racehorse, your hair flying! Enjoy the safety of your Circles and set yourself free!

Retrogrades

2014 starts with back-to-back series of retrogrades involving Venus, Mercury and Mars. The series goes through May 19, 2014. Read More!

Mercury  2014 has its standard 3 Mercury Rx, each of them straddling water and air signs, Pisces/Aquarius, Cancer/Gemini, then Scorpio/Libra. Air signs are thought to be thinkers, ones who make connections.  Water signs bring a nurturing quality that keep those ideas and connections alive and thriving!
Venus directs Jan 31, 2014, finishing the Capricorn retrograde it started Winter Solstice, Capricorn day, Dec 21, 2013!
Mars  No 2014 retrograde.

Stelliums – Powerful Gatherings of Planets

The most simple definition of stellium is 3 or more planets in the same sign! Use these for sign specific emphasis, concentrated focus and as areas of expertise. The House/s where they occur in your chart is what you apply your focus to! Many planets in one sign give you many ways, options, to approach a specific area! You might be out of touch with other things, but leave that to people with that kind of emphasis. Simply let others know that’s not your department!

4 Planet Stelliums:

  • Dec 21, Winter Solstice Day, when the Sun entered Capricorn, we started the stellium with four planets, Sun, Mercury Venus and Pluto.  Dec 31, the Moon joins making it five in Cap!  Jan 2 we go back to four until Mercury leaves into Aquarius Jan 11.
  • Oct 22 – 23 Moon, Mercury retrograde, Venus, Sun in Libra!
  • Oct 23 Scorpio starts with a stunning New Moon conjunct Venus – Moon, Sun, Venus all at ZERO degrees at 2:58 PM Pacific!  New Moon, New Sign, New degree!  Saturn 22 Scorpio is the fourth planet.
  • Nov 8 Mercury starts a second Scorpio stellium that goes 5 days until Venus leaves into Sagittarius Nov 16!  Mercury, Sun, Venus, Saturn.
  • Nov 20 – 22 we get a third Scorpio stellium formed as the Moon goes through Scorpio!
5 Planet Stelliums:  Dec 21, Winter Solstice, starts the last and only 5 planet stellium of 2014 in Capricorn!  The New Moon leads the way from ZERO Capricorn!  The stellium continues with 4 planets, Sun, Mercury, Pluto, Venus, after the Moon leaves, starting New Year 2015!  Jan 3 Venus enters Aquarius, leaving only three planets.

6/7 Planet Stelliums:  None in 2014.  Then next 6 planet stellium is Jan 16, 2018, at another New Moon!  It starts with 5 planets Jan 10, has 6 Jan 14 to 17, then is back to 4 on the 18th as two planets leave.
