Transit of Mercury 2006

The 2006 ECLIPSE as seen from Earth! Credit: ESA/NASA/SOHO

Oct 23 Note: As of Nov 4 Jupiter will be within 3° of the Galactic Center! We are most assuredly within hailing distance.

Sep 23 Equinox Note! How did this happen?! All of a sudden we are really close to the Transit of Mercury retrograde eclipse and its sister aspect Jupiter conjunct the Galactic Center! These are both important events, transmissions from our own Star, the Sun, and our entire Galaxy of stars!

Nov 11, 2019 the Retrograde Eclipse crosses the SUN, 7:21 AM Pacific at 18 Scorpio 55! Where it can be seen completely, it will be visible for 5.5 hours! See the AstroLogical Chart below!

The first ten months of 2019 Neptune has been being prepared for the sister events, the Transit of Mercury and Jupiter conjunct the Galactic Center! He has been activated SIX times, three by Jupiter’s challenging viewpoints. Neptune is stirred, no longer laying still. He may be on his feet like a Thich Nhat Hanh walking meditation or sitting in a dynamic meditation. For now he needs to be in a healthy awake, alert on duty condition. And there are three activations by Saturn, doing on-the-ground testing the principles Jupiter and Neptune have pondered, getting the kinks out to let it all flow smoothly. Neptune is a planet of being infinitely, delicately, richly sensitive, a giant receptor. In some ways it is indiscriminate and that is good when a transmission of this solar magnitude comes through. Neptune doesn’t block any part of it; it comes through whole. Mercury rules Gemini, information, data, and Virgo analysis. Neptune rules the sign opposite Virgo, Pisces. It’s important not to judge, or try to make order of it, but just see it as it is, an order we aren’t yet used to. It must be untampered with so the original is protected intact. This Transit event will last hours, so Mercury and Neptune have to be strong. It will take months and years, maybe a lifetime, to understand in fullness.

The June 16, 17 and 18 events are particularly important since the 16 and 18 events are at the 18th degree, the one that links Pluto at the Ecliptic and the Transit of Mercury. The Full Moon on the 17th at 25 Sagittarius also acts as a receptor.

Mercury will cross the Eclipse degree 3 times. It’s first pass is Oct 17, preparation and tune-up. Second is the Eclipse Nov 11. Last is Nov 30, making the best place for it in our lives. Retrograde means another look, a review, a turn around and seeing from another direction. In Scorpio important matters of relationships, finances, and health will all be revisited. This encounter with the Sun will bring hidden things to Light, unexpected sharing, a magnitude of attention.

The day after Full Beaver Moon Nov 12! The information received in the Transit of mercury is now being grounded and anchored by the in Taurus and given full perusal in Scorpio. It will then be used now through when Mercury’s sister aspect happens Nov 19, Jupiter conjunct the Galactic Center! The event is already strong with Jupiter only one degree away! It happens every 12 years, but not at the same time as the Transit of Mercury like this one!!!

In Horary Astrology, a planet, but especially Mercury, conjunct Sun, within 17 minutes, is called Cazimi. This is an exact Cazimi, an Eclipse! It is considered fortunate. Mercury is at the heart of the Sun, strengthened by the Solar union, reforged! I find people with Mercury conjunct Sun to be mental giants, have an extraordinary brilliance! They are inspired communicators, amazing researchers, express themselves with intense vitality! The Solar battery is ON! Yes, they at times get to a point of a standstill, the machinery reaches max saturation, and down they go for that nap or the night, fall asleep at the desk. Done. But the switch flips and they are at it again. Their mind can work on long after the body quits. If you love someone like this, kindly put food and water in their way. They may take it in absentmindedly as their mind is so focused on the important matter at hand!

The last Transit of Mercury was May 9, 2016 in fixed sign TaurusSee about it! It was at 19 Taurus 25 retrograde. This one is just minutes opposite at 18 Scorpio 55, almost 19 degrees. Again, old Horary science comes into play. What about that 19 degrees?! 19 Scorpio was called the ‘dread degree’ of the entire zodiac! Many are born on 19 Scorpio and do fine. Clearly there are not terrible world traumatizing events that day every year. Yet, there are times, and for some people, it indicates severe challenge, possibly lifelong. One 19 Scorpio Moon woman never knew her mother, was in 13 foster homes and known for her volatile emotions. Events may be defined quite differently. Is it carnage or should we call it regeneration? Shall we hire the wrecking crew for things that completed their usefulness, clear the path for repurposing? Taurus is a sign of fertility and growth, and Scorpio is known for healing and regeneration! Both are known for strength – one for the power of life, the other for the power of rebirth. Taurus says mine; Scorpio says ours. They can strongly clash neither giving an inch, yet often, with help of a third party, make peace and work powerfully together for common cause.

In the Ecliptic chart, the Moon is in fixed sign Taurus this time, the sign the Transit was in last time. It just passed over Uranus, the electrical spark of Life! Uranus is the holder of the Akashic Records, the records of the soul. In Taurus it has the will to survive, to be centered, alive and in harmony with Mother Earth, anchored in Peace. There is a deep sense of calm, a kind of trust in what is most organic in us. Our values for preservation are foremost. Climate change is holding a strong place in us. Venus and Jupiter in Sagittarius, Jupiter’s own sign, plus Mars in Libra sextiling Jupiter, suggest we have a lot to learn, a lot of connections to be made, a long journey ahead, many successes along the way. Many special cross cultural relationships will be formed, profound exchanges will be shared.

This conjunction, TRANSIT, is powerfully in fixed sign Scorpio of the dark, a keen observer who puts things together behind the scenes. Who honors you with complete confidentiality about personal matters – love life, finances, health. Who heals you at deeper levels, the levels of causality rather than a quick fix of symptoms…that will come back if the core isn’t healed.

Being an underworld sign, Scorpio is at odds with the Sun, the brightest Light there is. Better be clean, able to be illuminated and scanned by this bright Soul Scope. It’s like an x-ray by the Sun, your bones appear as shadows. Nothing escapes. If you pass the test, and it is only you that knows if you did, even if you are in denial, the Light of this magnitude shows truth that can’t be ignored. You get the glimpse and it haunts you until you fix it. It’s not just the client/patient that is getting the scan, but the healer and the link between you too! Honoring yourself and your various healers, and they you, is part of the scenario.

Since it is with Mercury, it is what we think (unspoken), what we say, how we say it, when, to whom, how we listen. Mercury is quick on its feet, able to make light of things, dodge bullets, but the Truth is still the Truth, real and part of us. It mulls it over, thinks and thinks about it until things settle down, and eventually, we relax, relent, accept. Good or bad, there’s a peace. At last we can get to work. Another level is now available.

The Sun sees what we thought were all our little secrets. And suddenly many of them don’t feel so important anymore. There comes a balance between our individual being and our purpose here in this Life, our place among our fellows. Personal wellbeing with our special idiosyncrasies makes us able to tackle some of the greater issues of Humanity. Scorpio can flick out intense ideas right between our eyes! In this case our mental Kundalini will be raised. Scorpio can take on some of the most uncomfortable things and people will listen. We all share basic fears, are grateful to be appreciated and heard kindly in our greatest sorrow, pains, and glory! The Sun Lights up these places we feared were too hidden, too awful or embarrassing to say out loud, yet here we are telling our story. Finally. It’s a great release. Healers are cured by the ones they help. They say we do what we need to learn.

Mercury in Scorpio is awesome! Here’s little Mercury out there talking to Sun! Well, he is never more than 28 degrees from the Sun anyway, used to being Sun’s companion and messenger. They know each other quite well. But we don’t really think of it as an exchange, yet it is. The Sun burns away the dross. Scorpio gets obsessed and a little dirt collects around him while he is focused elsewhere. Well that needs to be offloaded and the weary thoughts of over thinking let go. The channels get clogged and need to be cleared.

Then, Mercury makes more sense and responses are quicker, more clear to hear. Sun can’t help being his big Self, but we all gotta listen to our constituents. Mercury is the Scorpio rep this time! In exchange the Word of the Sun, the Heart of Light, goes out to all those people through his Mercury conduit. The conjunction is at 18 Scorpio 55, so those of us with factors in our charts at 15 to 21 will be activated. If you have factors in Scorpio at those degrees, it could be particularly intense. It won’t be just this Transit, but it will bring back memories of the May 9, 2016 Transit as well! Mercury is an air planet. You can bet it will be waffling about in your space. A feather touch here, a glimpse through the veils of time, minds touching, thinking together as One. Possibly there is a sense of urgency. Scorpio ever calls for amending, the longer vision, the seriousness of Life. It understands consequences as well as excellence.

Mercury is Retrograde again, as it was in 2016. There is unfinished business. People we need to reconnect with. Reevaluate, repair our status, have remorse and empathy for, forgive ourselves. There are reasons why they are no longer in our lives, but we may have forgotten and need to remember the lesson. We can be kinder but not need to be with them. Or we need to ‘pass them on,’ help them get to the next level with someone able to help them with their current needs that we can’t help with. Let go and go on.

Though the mythological Mercury is a man, Mercury is considered an asexual neutral planet, servant and messenger of the Gods, as such, simply a logical Vulcan-like channel. It is at times more interested in the function of gathering and transmitting information than the information itself. Each of us will put the spin of our own chart filter on the information we receive, yet try to keep your transmission of what you receive as neutral as possible. Go for the clean abiding principles rather than judgements of it. Since Mercury is of Gemini the Twins, think of it as our masculine Solar twin being seamlessly in Union with our Earthly feminine mind. When we are at One, there are no misunderstandings, no omits. We are complete, the merger Divine.

Children born on this day during the Eclipse will have magical Solar linkage called Cazimi. Their birthdays will hold a meaningful part of our lives. In old horary astrology, when Mercury conjuncts the Sun exactly like this, it was considered unfortunate, burned out, combust. But I am with David Coleman’s camp. For your perspective, he explains it this way:

  • Cazimi, [within 0° 17′ of the Sun] then, leads to the most enchanted state wherein the essential meaning of the planet becomes truly inseparable from our spirit. A Cazimi Venus, for example, could easily be a nymphomaniac or ‘sex addict’, for example. It could also be a person with near supernatural charm, grace or insight into the world of feelings.
  • Under the sunbeams a planet [8° to 17° of the Sun] is warmed and vitalised and somewhat or completely invisible, meaning it is commanding and infused with our inner light but somehow ‘on the fringes’, lacking in conventional status. It becomes ethereal, alluring, unusual and dreamy
  • Combust planets [8° of the Sun] are unorthodox and often willfully defy external direction because they are confident in their own inner unique grasp of the planets essential meaning. They are either aloof from or disinterested in the material agenda of the planet concerned but will still display its power radiantly and forcefully but somewhat enigmatically and individually.

Short answer from another point of view: when a planet becomes non-visible because of the Sun’s light it becomes less physical and more astral in focus.

Since Cazimi is within all three of these definitions, I say ALL apply! Look at your own chart to see if you are in any of these categories and if, how you think they apply.

Expect these Cazimi children to have extraordinary things to say, an exceptionally clever mind in some way, some form of remarkable dexterity, an unusual voice, a way of speaking about a special talent that holds our attention even when it’s not our subject! In certain topics they will be intelligent ahead of their age expectancy, and will surpass common thinking.

Maybe you can tell by the chart below there is about to be a Full Moon, in fact, the very next day! It’s the Frosty Full Moon spanning Taurus/Scorpio. Our arms are open wide, fully extended, receiving and sending. Moon is Mother guardian, in Taurus is for grounding. Scorpio stores the winter foods. Scorpio intuitively knows things of importance, protects them until Taurus can secure the gold bricks in the stout counting house.Chart We may not understand it fully yet, but instinct draws us to hold safe space for it.

2019 Transit of Mercury Astrology Chart

2019 Transit of Mercury Astrology Chart

Pluto at the Ecliptic and the Transit are linked by degrees, the Sun, and both happen in Scorpio, Pluto’s sign!

Not only is this Transit of Mercury important for its own sake, but it is the MESSENGER FOR WHEN PLUTO WAS CONJUNCT THE ECLIPTIC!!! The Ecliptic is the Sun’s path. That event was Oct 30, 2018 at 18 Capricorn 58. This one at 18 Scorpio 56 is only 2″ (minutes) from an exact sextile!!! The main commonality is both are related to the Sun and the Sun is in SCORPIO for both! The Ecliptic is the Sun’s Path through the heavens. The Transit of Mercury is when Mercury crosses the Sun! Mercury observed that 2018 event and in 2019 is at a maximum position to express Sun’s intention as purely as possible.

Sextiles have special energy as communicators! Exactly what it takes to do this job. The planets are linked in mixed compatible elements, in this case Pluto in Capricorn Earth then Mercury in Scorpio Water. Pluto in Capricorn is a powerful position. It has to do with money, funding, and people in charge of operations. It is healing and elders. It is cleansing and right timing. Relationships that have eternal meaning. It’s the Phoenix that rises from its own ashes in league with the Great Builder.

Truly, Mercury has important things to think about, communicate about, to translate and transfer point to point. Mercury is in Scorpio, PLUTO’S sign, keenly alert to what this all deeply means, and will carefully place the insights with people most capable of carrying the best forward! He will be quite discreet as revelations happen. Having just been with the Sun, the Light of all our Lights, his potency will be recognized and he will be listened to. Scorpios don’t waste time with idle chatter.

If your chart is activated by Pluto at the Ecliptic, it will also be activated by the Transit of Mercury! Imagine the power of children born during these events! They, we, are Messengers of the Light.

The exact conjunction is Nov 11, eleven eleven! That is a numerological pair of double numbers, considered master numbers. The number One represents leadership, inspiration, new beginnings, Initiation. In Scorpio that would mean starting over, revision or renewing a connection or contract of partnership. There is a knowing that two can do what one alone can’t do by themselves. Two Ones, standing together add to Two, a solidarity, like the second sign Taurus.

The exact time is 7:21 AM Pacific, just after Sunrise! We on the US west coast will be able to see it happening. The Sun is a big place, so it starts at Sunrise in Santa Barbara CA, 7:20 AM! For others it could be seen as long as 5 1/2 hours! It’s recommended to go to a high place, and TAKE YOUR ECLIPSE GLASSES!!!! The full transit period ends at 10:03 AM Pacific. Watch for the black drop effect, an optical illusion seemingly connecting Mercury’s disc to the Sun’s edge! It’s 100% done at 10:04 AM. Check out Dominic Ford’s simulation of how Mercury crosses the Sun at your location!

VISIBILITY! It is visible—weather permitting—for at least several hours in most of the world – US, South America, Africa, and Europe. You can see it as a tiny black dot silhouetted against the Sun’s disk. Find out if an astronomy group is setting up near you. Get tickets to the observatory! Find your favorite live stream channel! Find or get your viewing glasses now and put them in a place where you can easily find them! Clean up your old telescope. For viewing times at your location, click here at Time & Date! Enter your location.

On the average, there are only 13 Transits of Mercury each century. The next will be 2032.

Be present as you can. It’s a Monday. Take the day off? Give gratitude, pray for guidance, healing for all, that you may be a clear transmitter. Be still and receive. Give thanks. If you can, write down or record your thoughts, request they be anchored in your Spirit. Share any message you feel you can. Remember, we are in this together, many Souls receiving. You may have a piece that needs to be coordinated with one or more others to gain full understanding and expression of the message to others. Thank you. Blessed be.

This is a profound exchange of information between us and the Heart of Light! Each person is linked to this chart in their own way, or not at all, though that isn’t likely since the many factors involved are across so many degrees. Each of us has a part in some way. Thank you for you and your part.

And this isn’t all. Nov 19 Jupiter, in his own sign Sagittarius, is conjunct the GALACTIC CENTER! For such long term events, these sister aspects, Transit and Jupiter at the Galactic Center, so few days apart, are virtually happening together! Please see about Jupiter at the Galactic Center!

New Moon of Dreams!  – Trine Neptune, Jupiter Square Pluto!

Sunday Oct 30, 10:38 AM Pacific at 7 SC 44

New Moon Grand Canyon Milky Way

Remote and sacred places on a dark night are perfect choices for your Scorpio… Grand Canyon is one of the best places in the world to witness celestial wonders. Don’t think for a second that outdoor adventures end when the sun goes down!

No Full Moon over the ominous castle on Halloween this year! Instead, it will be fittingly dark! But it does precede the Presidential Election. It will hold some of the deeper secrets – some yet to be played, some never to be known.

New Moons of the longer nights time of year have an even deeper feel. Leaves are blanketing earth, protecting the soil from drying winds, storm runoff, mouldering and feeding our soils for spring growth to come. New Moons complete cycles and we feel the endings, the accomplishments, what lingers to be carried on into the new cycle.

Maybe we sleep a little more deeply and the dreams are more vivid as we come closer to our Soul’s longings. This is especially true this time because the New Moon and Mercury trine, flow well, with Neptune in Pisces, the planet and sign of dreams and magic! Intuition abides, Mercury the translator is at hand. Scorpio questions the dream’s meaning. Moon remembers long ago times, and how the Mother’s Mother taught her children. Sun shines, even in the dark, giving a glow to special moments that they may be shared. Mercury, keenly records the whispers and nuances to give them full expression, context, a perspective of the times.

New Moon and Mercury are semi sextile Jupiter in Libra, giving a living breath, further intensifying Jupiter’s relationships. Passions for learning are focusing as new steps are revealed, the core energy must be answered, the Kundalini can’t be ignored! It’s what we live for!

Jupiter in turn closely exchanges principles with hardworking Saturn, now in Jupiter’s sign Sagittarius, that feels the responsibility to do the mission one is meant to do! Education, the kind that suits your learning style, is imperative! Venus is right at Saturn’s shoulder showing us how wonderful a choice it is! It’s lovely, an enjoyable journey, charmed, worthy, and makes hella good sense! There is great mentorship, and the fees may be at a discount!

Saturn and Venus are semi sextile Pluto! There is a rapport because Saturn is the planet of Pluto’s current sign Capricorn. Saturn is ever so sensible, though in Sagittarius he is more inquisitive than usual. There are many paths to the mountain top, and he chooses well. Venus adds grace and charisma, a sweet smile, and off they go arm in arm. Pluto sees they have got something, and puts his money there! Pluto adds a couple footnotes that make the journey and the story even better. There’s an old Master up the road they must see.

The big aspect is Jupiter upcoming square Pluto in Capricorn, Saturn’s sign, exact Nov 24. This New Moon and the Nov 14 Full Moon, both include this aspect and provide a foreground of thoughtful matters leading to Nov 24, as well as being the pre and post election charts.

No, it isn’t all going to be easy. Whatever the obstacles, they need to be addressed sooner than later. It could be there is a start, but the finish is delayed. Money runs out. Someone close may require a lot care time and that sets you back. Keep your balance as possible; focus on priorities. Watch your own health, no burnout. You may be hard pressed to make deadlines. Important to set boundaries to protect what time you do have. See More

Mars is also in Capricorn, but mostly working on his own now. He sextiled Chiron, squared Uranus Friday the 28th. He and Chiron may have found a better way to do the job. Square Uranus, he likely left a friend or two behind. There could have been challenges over who was in charge, an accidental mess, too much weight. Perhaps he thought Uranus in Aries was irresponsible and Uranus, loving his freedom, simply let Mars go without much ado.

Preceding the Presidential Election, some will do last days of Soul searching to decide how to vote or whether to vote. Scorpio is able to make sacrifices, surrender and hold peace in difficult or imperfect circumstances while biding their time. Things change. With Jupiter in Libra there are powerful dichotomies, extreme polarities. Most of us agree we want the world to be a better place. Be thinking what you can do, personally, to make that happen. Working together is sometimes easier said than done. If your candidate wins, stay kind. If you candidate loses, stay kind. Middle ground may not be an option you choose, but be respectful as you fulfill your choice. Some of us will be walking paths we have never done before. Take it easy on yourself and others.

Steady in the Light and good luck on your journey.

Super SuperMoon! Full Frosty, Beaver Moon! – Mercury, Venus, Mars, Sign Changes, Jupiter Square Pluto!

Monday November 14, 5:52 AM Pacific at 22 Taurus 37

Exquisite Full Moon Frosty by David Cartier Sr Phoenix Rising Meditation

David Cartier, Sr. says ‘I was attracted to the way the slight bit of ice fog in the subzero air seemed to be sucking the moonbeam straight downwards.’ Exquisite image he calls Frosty Moon. I think it is a perfect Phoenix rising meditation.

11.10.2016 Note: Donald J Trump is President-elect. There were many successes for women! 52-year-old Democrat Catherine Cortez Masto became the nation’s first Latina Senator, replaces Democratic minority leader Senator Harry Reid. In California, State Atty. Gen. Kamala Harris was elected as the state’s first freshman Senator in 24 years. Harris is the first black politician to represent California, the second black woman ever to join the Senate, and the first woman ever elected as California attorney general. 48 year-old Tammy Duckworth, a congresswoman from Illinois and the first disabled woman to be elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, won the race for US Senate. Ilhan Omar became the nation’s first Somali-American legislator after she won a House seat in Minnesota. The 34-year-old succeeded with 80% of the vote! Kate Brown was elected as the nation’s first openly LGBT governor in Oregon. (GoodNewsNetwork.org)

Now we know who our next President will be. Only a week after the election, we will be comparing how it is with how we speculated it might be. A Taurus Moon is organic and practical, will help us make the most of what we can. We have a need to stay calm, keep basic resources intact. Scorpio Sun seeks alliances that will withstand any storms. It ferrets monies away in secure untouchable places. It strikes and takes advantage of any opportunities that may occur unexpectedly. Scorpio, a water sign, flows along mighty channels, sweeping debris out of the way, leaving silt for more fertile ground. Full circle, the floodplains become rich Taurus soil for new growth. From rampage to rampant abundance!

The nature of Full Moon oppositions is to divide and conquer, have awareness of a primordial axiom. It bridges the difference by making us lift our heads to be aware of the other. We finds ways to work in concert, each contributing their remarkable specialty. Or, we acknowledge that real differences exist to the natural exclusion of each other at this time, and let each other go on our own good way. Many options, often several together in overlapping layers.

Elementally, Taurus is mine, Scorpio is ours. Taurus acquires and owns; Scorpio shares and possesses! Taurus stills and absorbs like the Buddha; Scorpio, though outwardly doesn’t show it, hosts the human eternal flame, the Kundalini, the power at the base of the spine. Taurus solidly fortifies while Scorpio scathes and scorches! When friendly, it checks the perimeter so no one even gets to the fort! Both are fixed signs, so battles may continue over aeons of lifetimes, but, when they say it is done, it’s over. Some battles are within ourselves, others are with loved ones, or people around us. Oppositions cause us to study our so called opponent. Even if we ignore them, we are forced to see what to ignore! Paradoxically, as we come to understand, we make peace.

Our Full Moon axis leaves two planets behind. There was a Chiron bow, trine the Sun, sextile the Moon. Chiron is in Pisces, the possibility of Soul and Spirit healing, dreams of saving cherished remnants, piecing things to a renewed wholeness. There is consideration of immortality, things more important than simple mortal existence, living for body and money. Some teachings come subtly, like bubbles rising slow motion in the water, like visions in the fog, in and out of focus, a sound in the distance you aren’t sure of…yet it calls to you. You can feel it.

Sun is leaving the inconjunct with Uranus, Moon is leaving the semisextile. This set is nagging and disturbing. Good. There are new things to incorporate into our plans, but fixed signs prefer what’s already established. They, however, are the perfect signs to carry a new order forward. They don’t make change lightly, so what they accept, usually has merit if they are to bother with it at all. Taurus is sensible, and Scorpio is astute at seeing what’s behind the excitement. There may be a shift in alliances, or who does what, to get it all done.

Mercury, Venus and Mars have all changed signs since our New Moon only two weeks ago, and they are in close degrees! Mercury is now in Sagittarius sextile Mars in Aquarius! There are things to be said, and now! Independence, right action, freedom, need to be spoken as teachings community wide. New friends can be made, a new computer or programs very helpful. Venus, now in Capricorn, sits at the Mercury/Mars midpoint making sure they don’t exaggerate, are polite, have backup for what they claim. Venus wants respect for the message, and things to get done in a timely fashion to have maximum impact.

Jupiter is closer to sextile Saturn. They get very close, but not exact until Aug 27. Jupiter retrogrades to make more social and professional relationships that will support their work later on. Jupiter cheers Saturn. They both want education presented in ways that are meaningful, have credibility, and easy to uptake. Jupiter in Libra goes for more youth, while Saturn in Sagittarius draws the elders. Saturn holds Jupiter to task, keeping their purpose a priority. Expanding the range of their work, or the breadth of their territory may cause more work but a greater payoff in time. Saturn should keep things from getting too thin and overextending themselves, missing the mark. See more

If they don’t stay the course with right action, the Nov 24 Jupiter square Pluto may bring them down. Or, if there are things that need recovery work that need addressing before Jupiter and Saturn can get on with their work, the cleanup and renovation needs be done first. Jupiter in Libra may be over trusting, afraid to call out problems because of not wanting to hurt feelings. Or they may jump to conclusions, exaggerate, make enemies. Pluto in Capricorn may be old school and end negotiations. Pluto may try to force issues, but Jupiter knows how to sidestep and run, call the attorney. Pluto may look like he is in total control yet be more vulnerable than you think. And there are times when you must tell it like it is and let the chips fall. If that is your choice, be ready for consequences and have a backup plan in order for possible contingencies.

If Jupiter uses discretion and finesse – not manipulation, Pluto may be happy to receive him. Jupiter is often genuine and straightforward, honest with no tricks, means well. Pluto is not threatened, and in fact impressed with these sophisticated Libra ideas. They may both come out with some grand agreements, a plan that may be tinkered with, but develops well over time! See more

This is the last Moon before the Jupiter square Pluto is exact the first time. A Full Moon, an opposition, examines the range of values between the signs. Both have true principles and standards at different sides of the table. Use both, to judge the matters appropriate to one side or the other.

Jupiter square Pluto is the second aspect of the 2016 Oct to Dec 31 set of six that repeat two more times throughout 2017, the final aspect Nov 11, 2017.  Choices now will change as things develop. Look to your long term future to make best picks and get off to a good start.

Saturn in Sagittarius is still in close semisextile with Pluto. Saturn, ruling the sign Capricorn that Pluto is now in, will have an honorable say with Pluto, asking for leniency, to hold back for a while, to consider a more generous solution. However, kindly Venus is no longer with Saturn, and if things have just gone too far, his ethics offended, he may call for an example to be made, complete culpability.

Neptune in Pisces is at Moon’s South Node. Some of the ideas of the time may come from past lives, dreams of a long time ago, longings of many Souls. There may be a revival, a welling up, waves of tears ~ of happiness for a recognition from within, or of the Universe! Compassion replaces arrogance. There may be wrongs to be righted, healing to be done, shyness to overcome, to free your Spirit to step into this new frame.

Technicalities per Space.com  The “supermoon.” The full moon that occurs on this day will also very nearly coincide with perigee, the object’s closest approach to Earth for the year, in an event popularly known as a supermoon. The moon will turn full at 8:52 a.m. EST (1352 GMT), just 2.4 hours after it comes within just 221,541 miles (356,536 km) of the planet. (The moon’s average distance from Earth in its elliptical orbit is 238,900 miles, or 384,470 km.) The last time the moon came this close was on Jan. 26, 1948! Expect a large range in ocean tides (exceptionally low to exceptionally high) for the next few days.

We may feel a bit tidal ourselves! Even great Scorpio rivers have tides where they meet the ocean! Those of you who are coastal, take your camera with you for some super low and high tide shots!

Enjoy the Super SuperMoon! May your Circle Ceremonies be Healing.

Happy Birthdays, Pisceans!

Pisces Joanne Woodward YoungPisces Joanne Woodward Senior

2.27.1930 Pisces, Joanne Gignilliat Trimmier Woodward! Numerologist’s delight! LOOK at all those double letters and three letters twice in her last name! Doing the Three Faces of Eve was an easy feat for her! That and being a Pisces chameleon!

Pisces is a sweet lovely sign, though even when Pisceans smile there is a wee bit of a sad cast to their eyes. Their empathy is far more than for any one person; they see the sorrows of the world. But with Venus conjunct her Sun, Joanne was and is a standout beauty! From starlet to white haired senior, she has worn her age well. Capricorn rising didn’t give her and old look, but a wise look. Though considered an ‘old’ sign, they often soften and look younger than their age in elder times. Her Jupiter is in Gemini in good aspect with her Sun. Jupiter is a warm spirited teacher. Gemini scintillates, has instant perception, the gift of an array of voices, is forever young!

Jupiter in Gemini also has an uncanny intelligence to see the outcomes of several futures and picks the one that gives the best return. She sure did with Paul Newman! They were married 50 years, and you can believe they had sympatico charts! Both have Capricorn Ascendants. Her Moon and other factors are in his Sun sign Aquarius; his Moon is right with her Sun Pisces! What bonds. There are other great aspects as well, plus favorable declination combinations to back it all up!

Ever learning, in 1990, Woodward graduated from Sarah Lawrence College, along with her daughter Clea! Newman delivered the commencement address, during which he said he dreamed that a woman had asked, “How dare you accept this invitation to give the commencement address when you are merely hanging on to the coattails of the accomplishments of your wife?”

Philanthropy is a strong suit for savior Pisceans and humanitarian Aquarians. In 1988, Newman and Woodward established the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, a nonprofit residential summer camp, and year-round center named after the Wyoming mountain hideaway of the outlaws in Newman’s film, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The camp, located in Ashford, Connecticut, provides services to 20,000 children and their families coping with cancer, and other serious illnesses and conditions, free of charge.

Joanne has won Best Actress at the Academy Awards, at the Cannes Film Festival, and two Emmys as well! Quite a woman. Wishing her continued successes.

2016 Outer Planet Transit Aspects with Pisces!

Pluto is in mid Capricorn through 2017. Pluto is Scorpio’s planet and Capricorn, is a harmonious sextile sign, an earth and water mix. Pisces is a couple of signs beyond, as sensitive and flowing as Pluto in Cap is intense and sharp! That doesn’t mean Pisces doesn’t get things done. It is so intuitive it saves time, so Capricorn loves that guidance. When Pisces needs a leg up, Pluto senses the need for an overhaul, and Capricorn lends a hand step by step. They have all seen their share of difficulties and are powerful in their responses. Sometimes Pluto and Cap get lost in their moneys and reputation, but Pisces reminds them it has to mean something more or the Soul left behind gets dim. When they all team up, Spirit prevails.

Neptune is in its own sign, still in the first third of Pisces. It is a water Planet in the last water sign seeking a deeper side of life. The Sun’s annual course lends Light to subtle places, our vision is brightened. We stand a little taller, think of ourselves as a beacon in the storms, a master of the tides of Being. Neptune’s immersion makes us know we are all a part of each other. Neptune’s rise on a sea swell lifts us to see glimpses of the possibilities. As we rise and fall, we carry the understanding among us, as natural cycles unfold and at the same time, we are carried further and further into realms we never knew existed. We can be a tidal torrent or in silent suspension. When the Sea is calm, there is a peace beyond anything, anywhere, anytime. We are so still, we can feel ourselves, who and what we truly are.

Neptune brings a pure fusion of choate being. What you denied before becomes apparent. Old seams unravel as the tides of spirit rift the veils. The whole truth seeps in, then pours through us. We are washed clean, freed from residues of what even an old Soul thinks is true. Revelation becomes a verb, and we forevermore know now how to use this technique of evolution. The awakening of Aquarius becomes the seeing of Pisces. Some of this happens gradually over years of time, water over stone; other times it is the Miracle in a moment.

Uranus is just past the mid of Aries, moving into the final half of the degrees. Uranus is the planet of Aquarius and Pisces is the next sign. Aries is the sign after Pisces. Uranus makes the bold proposal. Pisces is not really surprised, but may miss a beat with the wild lightening approach! It absorbs and records the frequency, the vibration, noting its instinctual preliminary reaction. Some think of Pisces as a pushover wimp, but I would respect them. Though generally kindly, if they feel abused, back to the wall, you may find yourself at the bottom of a wave being pounded, or subtly undermined and you never find out where from…. Word to the wise. If your ideas are understood and appreciated, they will give you everything they have got to help save the world!

Chiron is also in Pisces, starting the last third of the sign. The Magi Society thinks Chiron is the #1 marriage factor and good in business. Pisceans are feeling the old mythological pains, of body or psyche. They are being called to learn how to heal, often in difficult seemingly hopeless situations. Teaching often entails the healer learning when to let go, move on to plant seeds in fertile ground. Business depends on whether it is Soul inspiring. Otherwise it is a drudgery to Spirit and escapism prevails. Sensitive Pisceans usually do better with partners who are in supportive and encouraging accord, in clean and gentle surroundings, rather than dark confrontive situations requiring constant recovery. Chiron can knock you down, pick you up, and bring a remarkable life!

Saturn is a third to half way through Sagittarius in 2016 as it retrogrades from 16 degrees back to 9 degrees. Factors in your chart from 9 to 16 degrees will be activated one after the other, the 2nd and 3rd times! Saturn is Capricorn’s planet, expecting seeable results on time. It can have a harsh manner, be cool and aloof. In Sagittarius it is more flexible, but still wants a good job done. Sagittarius squares Pisces, a challenge. Pisces can be elusive and illusive while Saturn wants conclusive. Pisces can see right through Saturn’s insecurities, why they need to be so in control. It may take awhile, but Saturn sees that the world doesn’t come to a halt when things, people, don’t go as planned. A little leeway opens doors! Sag likes traveling anywhere and Pisces doesn’t mind. If Pisces needs to get a grip, Saturn is the perfect character builder type to help. Sagittarius reminds them the purpose of the game and encourages them to stop whining and get going! LOL! This combo calls for Pisces to be most understanding in the beliefs department. Saturn in Sag likes to build churches for the true believers, do it by the good book. Pisces meditates and claims to have talked with God.

Jupiter in Virgo is opposite Pisces, and in a manner of speaking is a pseudo T Square, Jupiter representing Sagittarius. Sag is the sign at the midpoint between Virgo and Pisces. All are what we call Mutable signs – changeable, adaptable, moving. Virgo adjusts the schedule to financial standing, health needs. Jupiter seeks a greater range, changes direction when it discovers a more promising opportunity. Being opposite, Pisces may sense this is not for them and widens the gap. Jupiter and Virgo are way too picky, too busy for solitude loving Pisces and they can’t agree on the purpose of the venture anyway. Or, Pisces is drawn along by Virgo’s impeccable data and Jupiter’s generous intention. They may offer Pisces funding to help teach the disadvantaged, save lives with health programs. It may be time for Pisces to hire an assistant to manage events, chauffeur, write their scripts!

Jupiter in Libra (Sep 9) is a Fire and Air combination, SO social and Pisces is so not! But what is an artist, a musician, without their attorney or media manager?! It’s good to open our Spirits more to others around us. Balancing our inner world with the world as it is, scary, amazing, rich, is a maximum fulfillment. We feel more alive. We find ways to buffer our sensitivity while among our fellows. We are glad to offer our perceptions to help others through the nuances of their relationships. We see similarly to Libra in that we can put ourselves in another’s place, be more forgiving and understanding. Teaching is more eloquent, even poetic. Opinions, though often disparate, find ways to coexist as all learn from each other. Jupiter in Libra offers beautiful and inspiring invitations. We feel honored to be among the chosen.

Any of these factors may be activating other factors in your chart as well as your Sun. They may be difficult, may be rosy, maybe both! Check with your favorite astrologer for the whole picture!

Pisces ~

Magical Dimensions, Landscapes of Nether!

Pisces Ocean Fantasy Mermaid Unicorn Fairy Castle

To many Pisceans fantasy is an elemental part of life, all is blended, merged, connected. At the edge of the worlds, beyond within, moving to stillness. No molecule is left behind. We are swept in the tides of all being, shuffled and polished in the tides of life. We merge wholly with some for a time, wave as others pass by. Part of us is part of them, goes with them yet we are still here. Pisces is all and entirely nothing.

Being in love with a Pisces is a union well beyond words. Twin Flames, Soul Mates are terms we often hear. There is knowing with no thinking. Spirits are swirled like a teasing ice cream, the eddies in the tide pool. There are times when each IS the other. Other times there is a disconnect as one or the other wanders into another fascinating world. They may be gone a few moments, years, or simply never return, vanish. It is speculated the Soul takes them where they are needed most. Sometimes there is a need for solitude, to find one’s own center again, then they are back.

Pisceans may be mystifying, no discernable hard facts. They certainly aren’t bookkeepers like their opposite sign Virgo. Earthly organization is not their need, they are on Divine schedule. Definitions are in the moment and depend on who you are with. Time is irrelevant. Money isn’t a matter. Sexuality may be ambiguous.

If Venus is in Capricorn, perhaps there are more standard mores, gritty work accomplished, a platform built for the entertainment, future outcomes levied in. Musicians, composers of excellence.

If in Aquarius, and with Mercury there too, life and sexuality are likely to be different. And that’s putting it mildly. We don’t usually think of Pisces as rebellious, but in this case, watch your mismatched socks! Don’t be too surprised if they are spiritually radical – that can be dedicated to atheist! Either way, those beliefs are super important to them. Oh can they play and sing! Melodious or off key, bizarre to exceptional, they are enchanting. Bright colored birds of many iridescent colors.

If Venus and Mercury are in Pisces with their Sun, they will more truly please themselves, be the most unpredictable as they morph to whomever passes by and catches their fancy, experimenting with the nuances of life. Early in life they may be very vulnerable and naïve, and when older you can never fool them. They know before you do. This combo is most susceptible to sorrows and addictions. It’s important to keep company with people who love who you are, celebrate and encourage you. This magical mix loves the night and has phenomenal dreamtime!

If Venus and Mercury are in Aries, you might never guess them to be Pisces! Aries is blink-of-the-eye fast, first and furious! Of course, Pisces helps with that because their intuition responds before Aries senses the need to act! Double time quick! In Aries any meditation or sitting still, being dreamy and wondering, doesn’t last long! Aries wants to DO, be there, get things rolling, lead the troops! Pisces believes in the cause, Aries puts it into action. A walking, or better yet, running meditation suits.

If Venus is in Taurus, things are steady and true blue. There’s a slower pace, flowers and danger of wine and chocolates. Sweet voices, an elfin face, whimsical Spirits. They may have a garden by the sea, harvest the seaweed at the shoreline, sit at the foot of a tree, spend hours lost in contemplation of nature. Sometimes money matters more. Touch may calm them. Beauty pleases them.

And, of course there can be mixes of the above that give different flavors and talents. There are flavors with Pisces, and with any sign. Venus is up to 47 degrees from the Sun, within the same sign or up to two either side. Mercury only up to 28 degrees, in the same Sun sign or its neighboring sign. Go to Astro.com, Free Horoscopes, to find where your planets are. If you don’t know your birth time, use 12 PM, midday.

Doing business with a Pisces is not by the book. Imagination takes them and you on amazing rides. If it’s a serious gotta sign these papers, a deadline, keep sessions short and focused in an undistracting place. If they are bored, they simply change the channel and they escape! If it’s a brainstorming session you’re in luck! Open the doors and windows, cater the lunch, record, put your feet up on footstools, go to the beach! If it’s bookkeeping, report simply and get to the point. Human Resources are always a challenge. Pisceans forgive and understand, want to help, and be sure to give a good severance if we must let them go. You may have to do a takeover and offer to do it for them.

Pisceans do better with work that helps others – charities, saving animals and people, the planet. Many of them have been down themselves, and with their empathy at high volume, see the needs. They see the future as it could be if change isn’t made. Prevention is a key part. Some of them are down on their knees, one on one with children. Some are in great hardship at disaster sites doing recovery work. Others are in research labs tinkering with tiny things that mean a lot. Others are on stage blasting the message through story and poetic songs, both heartbreakers and inspiration that moves hearts of stone!

Health matters are sometimes obscure, hard to define. Other times, if obvious weight, drug or alcohol addictions, who needs a doctor?! It’s self evident. Feet, the part of the body that stands under, understanding, are Pisces’ domain. Swelling, allergies, sleep, dream disorders can be concerns. If you are a sensitive, you may be psychosomatically susceptible to other people’s illnesses. Since Pisceans have such acute hearing, are so sensitive to music and sounds, hearing and ear issues may happen at one time or another. Pisces is considered visionary, and that applies to your eyesight as well. It can be both psychologically or physically. We can be blinded, in denial. In astrology, people with important or many factors in the 12th (Pisces) House, Neptune with Moon, Sun, or at the Ascendant or Moon or Sun in the 12 House may have these issues as well. Get some good grounded help from reliable healers with a proven record of success.

Meditation, rest, music are helpful healers. Hydrotherapy, negative Ions by the sea, swimming, floating take you away. Doing service, volunteer work, the ‘Mission,’ takes your mind off things, and builds an aura of confidence as dream becomes reality.

Psychic Pisceans can be anybody’s twin. They know you, have many talents. Clairaudience is clear hearing. They can be clairvoyant, have clear vision as they view the sweep of life or location around you as events unfold. Their dreams are often predictive. Clear guidance is given in the ideas upon awaking. Levitation is not unheard of. Shapeshifting is common. It’s pretty funny when Pisceans are looking for a psychic. They have a hard time finding someone who sees more than they do themselves!

Neptune, the Pisces planet, will be IN Pisces until 2026, another 10 years! You might say, oh I have plenty of time, but it depends on what the degrees are in your personal chart. It will activate different factors as it goes along, or if your factors are in the first third of the degrees, it will be done with yours this year!

It is magical to have your planet in your sign! The romance of the ages dances before your very eyes! Neptune takes 168 years in its orbit, so it will be a long time before it is in Pisces again! Really take it in, be alive to it, ask for it to be in your dreams, in the mist of the surf you breath on the incoming tide! Feel the salt on your skin. Take a cruise to a sacred site. Open a seaside restaurant or sport business. Spend time at the beach, listen to the waves. Try windsailing, paddle boarding, or get a kayak. Walk under the starry heavens at night….

It’s an elemental embrace. And you are part of it.

The Aries Fire Stellium is OVER.  Now as we enter Taurus, the sign of loyalty and steadfastness, what was new, or did you start, during that Aries stellium, that you would like to continue to have in your life?  What value did you bring in that you are happy to maintain?  I have a new student who is new to astrology, and she is taking in the principles amazingly quickly!  I started sharing some more garden space with another community gardener, and intend to grow crops I will harvest to store for winter food.

Wise old Saturn is holding the fort at his 10 degree Libra station (appears to be stationary, still, in the sky) from May 18 to July 8, turning direct (forward) June 12.  Those of you with planets at 8 through 12 degrees will feel the need to enforce or question the rules, make or break commitments, let go or take responsibility, respond to age issues, make career choices, engage in father/ing matters, build for a stable future.  Being overwhelmed burdens the Soul; timing that fits the deed and your needs and your Spirit makes all the difference.  Focus and do your best.  Make yourself proud!

Jupiter is making his last stand in Aries until entering earthy Taurus June 4, starting off a fine Saturday!  That will leave only Uranus in Aries, the lone wolf on its own again, but happily so in a sign of its same spirit, both Uranus and Aries loving freedom and independence!  Jupiter in Aries gives a last chance these 14 days to start what we will, get educated to be encouraged, have confidence, to lead the way, or follow someone we trust well.  It could be more fun than you have ever had before!  Frolicking is good!  Roller skate, hike, ride your bike!  Continue it with Jupiter in Taurus exercise; do the fun kind!  Long horseback rides, mountain walks, walk your dog!  Endurance and strength sports are satisfying.  Long distance and heavy weight.

Jupiter, good luck, fame, huge growth, in attractive Venus ruled Taurus can attract more money than God – they call it a BULL MARKET when the stock market is going UP!  Jupiter in Taurus can keep that money, hordes of it, may travel to the ashram for an extended stay, found a non-profit organic farm, raise horses, buy fine art, start an imported cosmetics franchise, do melting massages at the spa on the train, drive a huge moving truck, give sculpting seminars!  It may get off to a slow start, but once rolling, it just keeps going.  Dedicated, determined, loyal.  Simple, common sense solutions.  Luxurious hair, earthy beauty, natural fabrics, furs.  It looks further ahead than its own two feet, so makes ‘lucky’ choices.  Well grounded, centered, satisfied, peaceful.  Smooth jazz.

Jupiter may, at this time, be even a bit more languid than just the easy-go-flow of Taurus because it is sextile Neptune (only this one time, not the usual 3 times) upon entry into Taurus, makes the exact aspect June 8!  Both are ‘religious’ in that Jupiter rules churches and sets the tenets of faith; Neptune is the Pisces planet, Pisces being the sign of spiritualism, meditation, meeting God on your own terms, often religious diversity.  Jupiter usually calls for adherence to the church’s philosophy, though can be open-minded and take up religious studies.  Pisces, is perhaps more Buddhism oriented, compassionate, yet can believe so passionately as to give one’s life for the cause, a devotee who lives in silence and service in the spiritual abode 24/7.  This aspect offers what works for you, the best of both, in your everyday life.  Jupiter in Taurus loves the armchair more than the airfare.  There better be a good reason to take that trip.  Probably chooses to make oms at home!  Neptune is now in Pisces, its own sign.  It, like Taurus, is usually gentle.  But don’t let this fool you.  Being gentle is one of the greatest powers on earth.  A good teacher can ask clever questions, sneak right up on you and let you think you thought of it yourself!  Feeling and being safe, opens all the gateways for learning.  Your eyes open right up wide with the happiness of the leap – insights, epiphanies, are the order of the day!  Let it be!  Make music!

This is the Full Moon of the Buddha celebrated worldwide.  The Buddha is thought to actually come to Earth in a Himalayan valley. Sitting as the Buddha, being grounded and centered, feeling completely aware of everything/nothing, having gentle compassionate wisdom, total peace, are what we seek. With two outer planets, Jupiter and Uranus, still in Aries, it might be more like Thich Nhat Hanh’s walking meditation, riding your bike long distance in the Zen of the flow.  But at the time of the Full Moon, there are FOUR planets in early Taurus, a stellium, starting with Venus, Taurus’s own planet, Mercury, then Mars, all three closely together in conjunction.  The Sun is last, at the end of Taurus.  Mars, Venus and Mercury are the planets associated with the first three signs of the zodiac, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, as if in summary of the three sacred festivals of the first three Full Moons of the year, Aries The Christ – Love, Taurus The Buddha – Wisdom, Gemini Humanity – The Word!

Taurus sits on the rock, walks in focused prayer and silence stopping to listen, touch the trees, tip and sniff the flower now and then.  It is one with Nature, loves the touch of all its textures.  Barefoot on soil presses minute particle to particle, draining away hysterical fear, replacing it with a neutrality from the soil that allows you to be free to see simplicity.  A Tao Te Ching phrase that has been with me a long time is ‘Do you have the patience to wait till your mud settles and the water is clear? Till right action arises by itself?’

Scorpio Moon?  Taurus is mine.  Scorpio is ours.  Sharing.  Mutual funds.  A gathering of resources from the deepest realms.  The Native American Underworld where power is sought, faced alone, Spirit your only Ally, imbued with a Sacred Trust.  The Greco/Roman mythological underworld of Hades.  Christian celibacy; tantric sexual intimacy, a merging beyond words.  The Pagan life sustaining storing of goods for winter sharing, a living reservoir of human connection.

Goddess Mother Moon, GrandMother Moon, lights these ‘dark’ places as fully as She can, with her Night Light, a gentle, more bearable Light, than the Light of Day.  This is a time to look upon the silver strands that connect us, absorb their meaning.  What binds us?  Money, Love, genetics, nothing we can explain?  Is it time to step across the barriers, cross the threshold to the next level?  To return to our prime mission?  To let go and keep walking?

Walk it, share as you can.  I will be being mindful the evening previous the Full Moon, and the 17th, in planetary prayer.  The Sun and Jupiter will be in the degree of the Galactic Center.  Join me in Spirit if you wish.  By your grace.

Sai Baba – Astrological Birth and Death Charts

Scorpio - Sri Sathya Sai Baba

Easter.  Today, that day of Resurrection, is the day the Great Master, Sri Sathya Sai Baba, chose to leave his earthly body.  What a message.  We are born again.

Here is the chart of his birth.  What is most unique is that he never left India to bring his message to the world.  At 84, he was revered by millions worldwide, with ashrams in over 126 countries.  Devotees included high-placed politicians, movie stars, world-class athletes and industrialists.  Over my lifetime, I have had friends who were with him when he performed some of his miracles.  I am a believer, and am sad at his passing, blessed that he lived, for my friends’ miracles were real to me and changed me too.

Sai Baba – Scorpio Sun & Ascendant, Moon Cancer

Saturn was next to his Sun in Scorpio when he was born, made him like a Capricorn as well as a Scorpio.  One of Saturn/Capricorn, abilities is apporting – the ability to materialize things out of thin air.  My friends saw him make roses appear in his hands, and the sacred ritual ash, Vibuthi, for their foreheads.  With Saturn at Baba’s Ascendant and Sun, he was a hard worker, and likely life was not always easy.  He never married or had children.  They say we teach what we need to learn.  Baba’s Venus and Mercury were in Sagittarius, Jupiter in Aquarius, a love of spiritual teaching and people of all places.  His Mars was in Taurus, an enduring warrior devoted to his purpose, a founder.  His Moon in Cancer gave him a love of home, so he built an ashram, a spiritual home for people to come live and learn with him.  Crowning his chart is Neptune in Leo, at 26 degrees in a positive exact trine with wth Galactic Center, 26 Sagittarius!  Spirituality fit for a king, major fame, though most Scorpios like to operate from behind the scenes.  Another thing that brought this man forward was that four of his planets, Saturn, Sun, Venus and Mercury were all in his first house, the Aries house, making him sacrifice his privacy for leadership!  Or you could say he led from behind since his medium was meditation and spirituality, both invisible!

Baba’s Death Chart, Easter April 24, 2011, Puttaparthy, India at 7.40 AM

It is thought by many that the sign you die in is the one you reincarnate in!  So here he went with Sun and Ascendant in Taurus, the opposite sign of his Sun and Ascendant he had this life, Scorpio!  Pluto and Moon are in Capricorn, the opposite sign they were in this life, Cancer!  In both instances, he has gone the maximum distance, reach, across the zodiac!  He leaves us during a 5 planet Aries Stellium (cluster of 3 or more planets in the same sign), a champion even in death.  The Ascendant of his death chart is 29 degrees Taurus, a classic degree in horary astrology of something to weep about, the degree of the 7 Sisters, the Pleiades.  Indeed.

Death Chart around Birth Chart

Difficult Aspects
Pluto in Capricorn at his natal South Node – controversy over past leadership/authority/integrity
Neptune/Chiron Pisces square natal Venus/Mercury Sagittarius – unsurety over management of the Satya Sai Central Trust, estimated to be worth over $8.9 billion, or much more, and issues of fake miracles.  No successor has been named to run the trust.  Venus and Mercury are money and naming.  Neptune and Chiron are spiritual business, the unknowable, miracles.
Saturn in Libra and Mercury/Mars/Jupiter in Aries forming a T square natal North Node, Moon, Pluto in Cancer – controversy over sexual abuse of devotees, fake miracles, the June 1993 killings in his bedroom.  Oops.  Saturn can be rather merciless, wants an accounting.  Mercury/Mars/Jupiter search for the truth.  Moon is bedrooms/at home, Pluto is vast sums of $, death, mysteries.

Positive Aspects
Neptune/Chiron Pisces sextile natal Mars in Taurus
– hopefully things will be worked out with the Trust leadership and the good works will continue
Uranus/Venus in Aries trine natal Venus/Mercury in Sagittarius – world love and leadership will network to carry on teaching the message, helping to focus for the June 5, 2012 Venus Transit and Mayan Crossroads/Sacred Tree Dec 21, 2012
Jupiter in Aries sextile natal Jupiter in Aquarius – Jupiter rules fame, orthodox religion, state ceremonies, funeral rituals, truth, teaching, expansion.  Perhaps much more will come to light about Baba’s life in the next few years.  However that may shake out, he brought millions of people planet wide to spiritual insights and practice.  Millions of people in conscious practice are needed to keep the balance in a frightened world.  They will carry the power of the tipping point to a better life.

Steady in the Light and your Practice.  In Love, Cerena

We have Ascendants, are descendants of those who went before us. Why not be Transcendents?!

And how do you do that? Most of all, if you are making good progress yourself, how did you do it, how do you teach others how to do that? Not only are we transcendent, but we bestow transcendence – another level of transcendence!

By example is, perhaps, the simplest. Just do, be, the thing you want to see happen.  Like a smile.

With empathy. Compassionate understanding of different abilities, personal histories, past lives, can make an incredible difference when nothing else makes sense. Be alert to the needs of others, their capacity, readiness.

Tease the Spirit into play. Do things that are exciting, engage happiness! That could mean blood moving exercise, art that pulls the heart, giving tools of an enticing trade, maybe a video camera or keyboard, sailboat, vineyard, dance tutoring, a trip to a sacred place event – could be a meditation retreat.

Keen Spirited Pisces Photographer Ansel Adams

Feb 20, 1902, a true Pisces visionary see-er, Ansel Adams, keen musician, amazing Photographer, is a great example.  He did what he loved.  Sun & Mars in Pisces, Mercury trine Neptune, the Pisces planet, both retrograde.
