Happy Birthdays, Cancers!

Cancer Benedict Cumberbatch

From Shakespeare to Sherlock, Benedict Cumberbatch often plays roles he believes in. Born July 19, 1976, he has Sun in Cancer exactly square his Moon, Cancer’s planet, in activist Aries! In spite of a childlike innocent face, Benedict has an impressive array of accomplishments, and participates in many causes. Cancer is the most feminine of all the signs. She is children, Mothers, women of all ages. Benedict considers himself a feminist, as do many Cancerian men. He made his acting debut as a female, Titania, Queen of the Fairies, in A Midsummer Night’s Dream when he was 12. See his chart!

Mercury, Saturn and Venus within 4 degrees of each other in Leo give Benedict a regal and commanding bearing. The combination has given him a powerful way with words, and he has done a lot of voice roles, animation, narration and loves radio. His background in acting is solid, traditional and extensive. He knows what he’s doing with a Master of Arts in Classical Acting. Saturn’s formality really suits a Brit; he’s famous in his own land in his own time! Saturn has brought further honors. He was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) by Queen Elizabeth II in June 2015 for his services to the performing arts and to charity.

Astrologically he has success written in his chart! His Sun sextiles Jupiter – personal fame, in Taurus – enduring celebrity. Saturn and Venus sextile Pluto – mega wealth, plus trine Neptune – acting. His Midheaven is Cancer the sign of the Public. He has a sense of the pulse of the people, especially women. Sun in the 10th is often well known.

The Leo stellium trine Neptune also accounts for his affinity with Buddhist philosophy, meditation and mindfulness. On the family front, Valentine’s Day 2015, independent Moon in Aries Benedict married his sweetie of 17 years, Sophia Hunter! Finally! They are now the proud parents of adorable Gemini Christopher Carlton.

After portraying Stephen Hawking in 2004, he has been an ambassador, and in 2015 patron, for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. In 2003, Cumberbatch joined the Stop the War Coalition protest in London against the Iraq War. Together with Prince Philip, Cumberbatch presented 85 young people with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award at St. James Palace March 2014. Benedict joined Prince William and Ralph Lauren at Windsor Castle for a cancer awareness and fundraising gala. July 2013 he officiated at the same-sex marriage of friends. For International Women’s Day 2014, he was a signatory of Amnesty International’s letter to UK Prime Minister David Cameron for women’s rights in Afghanistan. Cumberbatch is a founding member of the “Save Soho” campaign which aims “to protect and nurture iconic music and performing arts venues in Soho.

Benedict’s contributions as an actor and philanthropist are enormous. Excerpts above from Wikipedia are just some of the highlights. May he continue to serve in great happiness.

Cancer 2016 Highlights!

Perseid Meteor Showers Aug 11 - 12, 2016

Mark your calendars! Per Space.com the next exciting astronomical event is the Aug. 11-12: The Perseid meteor shower! The Perseids are considered among the best of the annual meteor showers, thanks to their reliability and high rates of up to 90 “shooting stars” per hour. This year’s peak will occur well after the moon — which will be just past first quarter — sets around midnight. [A good viewing dark sky!] There is also a possibility of a meteor outburst, which might produce an enhanced display this year. [Amazing Perseid Meteor Shower Photos of 2015]

Cancer TimeLine!

Happy Summer Solstice! Mercury is moving forward, Mars is still retrograde until June 29. We finished Jupiter square Saturn, did the second Saturn square Neptune, and Jupiter’s last mega trine Pluto is less than a week away, June 26!

The next outer planet combinations are August 12 and 13 when Jupiter finishes opposite Chiron and inconjunct Uranus! This pair is important because 2015, 16, 17 are uniquely linked by reverse aspects from different signs to Chiron and Uranus. 2016 opened with the second of three Jupiter VIRGO opposite Chiron, inconjunct Uranus. 2016 closes with the first time of three Jupiter LIBRA opposite Uranus, inconjunct Chiron – different sign, reversed aspects! What we are doing now paves the way for the next vantage point. In Libra we can incorporate our findings and these new living skills into our relationships! See more!

Continuing abiding Aspects

  • Uranus and Pluto continue in a close range square. Though no exact aspect will be formed again, the reminder of happenings since 2010 remain with us, many taking years to work through.
  • Chiron & Uranus continue in their many years long journey closely together in the background…. More

2016 Outer Planet Transit Aspects with Cancer!

Pluto is in mid Capricorn through 2017. Pluto is Scorpio’s planet and in Capricorn, is a harmonious sextile sign, an earth and water mix. Pluto has been opposite Cancer, relentlessly scanning and scouring and at times scowling, LOL, clearing Cancer of a past it never wants to give up! Eventually some old postures are just spent, every bit of what can be is wrung out of them, not even enough tatters to wash again. Too tired to hold on any longer. Some things just need a bit of spit and polish to shine right back up again, strong and resilient. Collections are thinned, as upgrades are made. Emotions are acknowledged, some comforted, some relieved to be released. Some timing and cycles are freshened and restored, blockages removed, now humming. There may be temptations, but don’t cross the line. The power of Fathers, age, law & wisdom are more accepted. Some Fathers leave, sadness and grief for the losses. Surrender can be with shame and bitterness, or with dignity. Each has done their best.

Neptune is in its own sign, at the first third of Pisces. It is a water Planet in the last water sign seeking a deeper side of life. Neptune is oceanic – is still like glass becalmed, has forever tidal cycles, titanic storms, tsunamis! Cancer, another psychic water sign, is more concerned with the home front, everyday life, feeding the troops, where Neptune would meditate at the ashram and just as soon fast. Cancer is the way of the householder, and Pisces is the spiritual life after that. Neptune puts perspective on how important and sacred a privilege raising our children is to the outcome in our community. It shows us how to integrate spiritual practice in our daily life. It teaches us to trust that our life’s necessities will come to us though we can’t yet see a way that can happen. Neptune’s compassion is essential to recognizing we each have our own special Path no matter what a loving parent may want for us. Cancer may be called on to reach beyond the ordinary to the magical! Dreams and visions become the image or art we make!

Uranus is just past the mid of Aries, moving into the final half of the degrees. Uranus is the planet of Aquarius, so unique that utter freedom is a given. Cancers aren’t usually thrilled with all the change this threatens. They want food on the table at the right time, gotta get the kids to school on time, and get to work to support everyone. None of this fancy running around, adult play time. But for the Cancer in business, they are intrigued by what’s new and being one of the first investors! Small test amounts are in order. Their fine intuition helps them choose what will fly with the public, and whether it is a fad or here to stay! Oh, heck, and maybe they have been too stodgy and it’s time to take a little break, stuff the kids in the SUV and wander with reckless abandon on the adventure of a lifetime! Have fun!

Chiron, like Neptune is also in Pisces, starting the last third of the sign. It goes into Aries 2018-19. The Magi Society thinks Chiron is the #1 marriage factor and good in business. Right up Cancer’s ally! Money in the bank, insurance, works well for them. If any little cures are needed, good chance they will get them. The Mother/Father alliance is super important to them, so this is a good time to pick a proper mate and make it legal, especially if better for taxes. Buy the home. Cancers are forever students, so Chiron’s teachings are quite welcome. Herbs and foods build our bodies in a good way, keep us healthy, heal ailments, help us stay young!

Saturn is a third to half way through Sagittarius in 2016. It retrogrades from 16 degrees back to 9 degrees. Factors in your chart from 9 to 16 degrees will be activated one after the other, the 2nd and 3rd times! Saturn is Capricorn’s planet, expecting seeable results on time. It can have a harsh manner, be cool and aloof – their praise is well earned and means a lot. Saturn in Sagittarius is more flexible, but still wants a good job done. Cancer can be the obedient child to Saturn, ruler of Capricorn the Father authority, but continual harsh treatment or undoable expectations means a constant state of recovery, possibly eventual breakdown. As an adult, you can choose to be with supportive companions in jobs where they love you and you all love what you are contributing to the world together! Each of you cheers the other, abundance flowing. It’s contagious! Happy you, happy customers. Sagittarius is one off from the opposition in Capricorn, a sign to the side. Cancer may think they have found their savior, a big thinker who is optimistic! But this teacher is a traveler and most Cancers stay home after all. Get what you get and let go. Worldly Sagittarius may be out of Cancer’s comfort zone, but it sure is interesting to take a look!

Jupiter in Virgo knows what the right food at the right time can do for you and Cancer is more a foodie than a nurse! Cancers do nurture, but it more a comfort than a science. They aren’t so far apart that they can’t work it out. Intuitive Cancer senses what’s important to Virgo, who obviously cares a great deal, and Cancer learns how to tune up the menu! Jupiter sees the big picture, Virgo makes suggestions on which house will require the least maintenance, have less utility charges, is more sustainable. Jupiter may help you find that job you have been hoping for by spiffing up your resume with great qualities you never realized you had! Oddly, you may find yourself going to Church or doing some volunteer work close to home and heart!

Jupiter in Libra (Sep 9) is a volatile Fire in Air combination, loves to carry on getting to know you. As far as Cancer is concerned, that’s fine as long as you have permission and aren’t trespassing! Jupiter in Libra is surprised when you disagree with them, but if it’s a serious matter you might find yourself in court! And they have friends. They usually mean well, and would love to open your space to information they have found in their travels. They love different cultures, philosophies, art. Likely they would rather eat out than at your place. Might be good for you to get out more! Expect to be photo bombed, they are having a good time and want you to too! But how much can you stand? Better as house guests though they will probably leave sooner than planned on their own, off to see more other friends, visit the new ones they just met while with you! Fun while it lasted!

Any of these outer planet factors may be activating other factors in your chart as well as your Sun. They may be difficult, may be rosy, maybe both! Check with your favorite astrologer for the whole picture!

Have a great new year!

Cancer Parents, Profound Activists!

Cancer Proud Parent Family Natural Activists

Some of the most amazing women have strong Cancerian factors in their charts. Jk Rowling, children’s magical storyteller, has 4 planets in the lunar (Cancerian) 4th house. Josephine Baker, famous activist jazz singer with Neptune conjunct Venus in Cancer, adopted 12 children from around the world. Leo romance novelist Danielle Steel, Moon in Cancer, has NINE children! Young Pakistani Malala Yousafzai, activist for children’s education, is a Cancer. Law & Order actress Aquarian Mariska Hargitay has her Moon in the 4th (lunar house) sextile her Cancer descendant. She plays a Mom in Law & Order, has one child of her own, two adopted, established the Joyful Heart Foundation, which provides recovery help for victims of sexual abuse. She walks her talk.

Though Cancer is THE feminine sign, the sign of women, many fabulous men with Cancerian factors in their charts have tirelessly supported our heroines and children. Champion men athletes are famous for working with kids, developing their self esteem, encouraging them to learn, extend their reach in life. In India, Capricorn 2014 Nobel winner Kailash Satyarthi, described as an excellent cook (a Cancerian talent), has acted to protect the rights of more than 83,000 children from 144 countries to stop child slavery so they can go to school.

Every day Cancer parents go to bat for their kids. Shelter. Food. Health care. The best school possible. They teach them good living skills. They hug and hold. Often sacrifice. Parents work hard, do their best to be the living example of successful relationships. That’s grassroots activism.

Emotions and sensitivity have long been ranked as weakness, yet Caner intuition, instinctive reactions have saved the day too many times to discount this uncanny skill. True, we don’t have to act on our emotions every time. Another life skill.

Cancers are forever scholars, absorbing life just as fast as they can. Their memories run deep, and they can cull what no longer serves. That sideways step of the Crab dodges the danger just in time. Knowing what people are feeling, sensing the weather, having a fine attunement to cycles, gives Cancers an accurate assessment to invest wisely, whether property, the stock market or choice of safe people for their kids to hang out with or maybe to help raise money to fund a cause.

Most activism starts right at home with a dream, an ideal, love, wanting the best for our children. It can be in the garden, the classroom, standing up to a bully, in the shopping center parking lot, walking for breast cancer, asking for that raise, starting our own business, cooking dinner together. Simple things, but each part is important, contributing to a well rounded Spirit and a rich life. It’s unspoken inspiration. What can’t be done alone can often be done together. Family counts.

It may be for our own dear children, or the children of the world. “I raise up my voice – not so that I can shout, but so those without a voice can be heard.” — Malala Yousefzi, July 12, 1997  See her incredible story and her chart

Happy Birthdays, Cancers!

Cancer Women Dancing Circle Sark Quote

Girlfriends by Melody Morgan. Her thoughts: This circle can be comprised of both female and male but I can tell you, the women are the most precious.

Women need other women. They always do. It is a special bond. It is like no other. Our circle, our posse, our tribe, our girlfriends. They become more and more important as we grow older. As time and nature work their changes and their mysteries upon a woman, girlfriends are the mainstays of our life.

Thank you for our divine connection to each other….

FULL Grain Moon!
New Moon Solar Eclipse!

Full Grain Moon – Planetary Pairing!
Saturday August 29, at 11:35 AM Pacific – 6 Pisces 6

Virgo Full Grain Moon Planetary Pairing

Jupiter in Virgo’s first Full Moon and the Sun is in Virgo!

There are three planetary pairings, aka conjunctions, one at each end of the Full Moon and the Mars Venus pair. The Sun is leaving Jupiter, Venus is going back for Mars, Moon is proactively approaching Neptune in its own sign Pisces! Though not a planetary pair, Mercury in Libra is just leaving the North Node. There are unions and emphasis where each pair is. They are sharing their wisdom with each other, then it’s on to their next meeting on the Path.

Sun Virgo left Jupiter 3 days ago, still close enough for reminders. Sun and Jupiter have more vitality than is usual for Virgo. Virgos tend more to be thinkers and to work at intricate tasks, computers are easy. Sun and Jupiter take it on like it is nothing! Take advantage of this to find an exercise system that livens more of your body, keeps you humming all day! Take a walk at lunch! Get your face lifted to the Sun, oxygen to your brain, get OUT of the office! Jupiter loves a great story and in Virgo, just for the fun of it, embellishes it with an array of details that make it super credible. Volumes will be written!

Sun’s next stop is the North Node in Libra Sep 24! Mercury, Sun’s faithful companion, has just passed the North Node, and will later retrograde back to meet the Sun Sep 30! The three of them will exchange relationship tips. Sun says trust yourself, come from the heart. The North Node says give and take, listen, share, enhance each other. Mercury wants to talk it through, listen, try out some new ideas, give appreciation and sing praises!

Moon in Pisces, is about to embrace Neptune, in its own sign Pisces, in only hours, at 3:21 PM Pacific, carrying that encounter on to Chiron on Aug 31 at 3:20 PM Pacific. If you Neptunians/Pisceans don’t want a bunch of hugs and food offerings, either run for it or stand tall and don’t act like any kind of wimp. If you adore being smothered and smooched, just stand still and happily keep smiling and saying thank you, thank you! You may get a month of groceries and your laundry taken to be done up right properly. LOL! If only!

Once the feasting is done, photos taken, we realize the great Spirit of family, generation on generation, the magic of Motherhood. There have been sacred women, divine feminine beings, since the beginning of time. Their Light continues to be carried on though women like Pakistani education activist Malala Yousafzai, youngest winner, at 16, of the Nobel Peace Prize. Her chart. Neptune in Pisces knows true reverence, recognizes intrinsic purity. It steeps in the beauty of the Soul, the Child and Mother in us all. It may have deep challenges, confusing layers, nightmares of addictions, but there are Miracles and often an abiding Faith clothes a wellspring of strength we didn’t know we had.

Sun and Jupiter and Moon and Neptune are a fabulous foursome in close degrees with no other planets in the chart involved unless you count the Mercury semi-sextile Jupiter! Sun and Jupiter can get the job done! Moon and Neptune can feed the troops, make melodies, and provide inspiration, body and Soul!

Mercury in Libra semi-sextile Jupiter thinks of the purpose, holds the key to the greater direction. It is adept at connecting well with good people who are wanting the same things. It has the ability to see both sides, keep a reasonable peace while we get to know each other better. It explains different cultural needs, has respect, aims for fairness. Jupiter in Virgo runs the craft guilds and broadcasts about the fine things it makes, services it provides. Mercury sees the quality, and blogs the story, gets the word out. As it thinks round and about, it comes up with further trigger ideas Jupiter can introduce to its system, expanding even further! Jupiter in Virgo requires a profound meaning for what they do as well as doing a mechanically exquisite job.

Mercury is just leaving the Moon’s North node. Once a year it checks in with the Dragon’s Head, Caput. The Moon’s nodes are on a 19 year cycle, so sometimes the conjunction is in the same sign, sometimes not. Since the nodes are generally retrograde, reversing through the signs, the conjunction is usually in the preceding sign. The South Node is thought to signify our past, the North our present and future. The north may be an unsure place, still exploring and learning. With a conjunction, there is always an opposition, so Mercury is querying where things are going while there is an observable knowing where things have already been. The South is always exactly opposite the North Node, so is in Aries, sign of the Warrior, Initiation, Independence, very new beginnings! Libra is more cautious and considerate, cleverly saving its own skin, able to dodge bullets it never admits were fired, avoiding disharmony. Or, it is the attorney naming and fighting battles in behalf of their client?!

Mercury will retrograde Sep 17 and go back to meet the Sun coming forward on Sep 30. The Jupiter collection, and the North Node exchange will be shared into the Light of the Sun, then in Libra. Jupiter’s optimism, plans for the future will be happily received, faith restored, and passed on to many others. North Node in Libra shall have reached beyond the past. Through Mercury it invites Sun to find others of like mind, to make beauty every day. It is blessed to think good thoughts, hold itself to a higher standard, be a peer at a higher level of equals!

Venus retrograde still wants what she wants and she’s going back to get it! Mars is pretty handsome and daredevil courageous in Leo; how can she resist?! Later in the day, after the Moon Chiron connection on the 31st, she reaches him at 10:04 PM Pacific! The 31st is a Monday or I would recommend a party! A rendezvous is minimum! Wine and cheese, gifts, flowers, pretty clothes. The Moon will still be big and bright after the Full Moon. She wants Mars to be successful, offers him a cloak of charm and grace to soothe and smooth his way. She sees his value as a front man, salesman, first responder, and offers him the job. He’s quick and no-nonsense, gets to the point and gets things done, gets people going quick time! He doesn’t mind her overtures, she’s sweet. But if too sugary, he’s outta there!

This pair is inconjunct Pluto in Capricorn. Leo likes the professional success of Capricorn and Cap likes the flair and notice Leo lends to a solid performance! Leo loves spending and giving; Capricorn may not be so inclined to give as much of their hard-earned energy, but rather would place it for most effect. Venus and Mars love a great party, and Cappies like it if it includes the CEO and is for a cause that is to purpose for the company. Pluto in Cap tones down and conserves, focuses powerfully, succeeding at monumental achievements! Venus and Mars in Leo add spice and playfulness, dancing off to the races at the drop of a hat! All work will never be enough! LOL Pluto may see a way to put these two to work, like on the social committee, to the great pleasure of all!

Venus goes Direct, forward from her retrograde, Sep 6, moves into Virgo Oct 8. Her next conjunction is Oct 26 with Jupiter! That is considered a most fortunate combination! Venus brings Love, money and beauty. In Virgo that is to the finest detail, or maybe a host of details that make a greater beauty than of any one detail by itself! The quality of craftsmanship in itself may be the beauty! Jupiter, planet of plenty, and of expansion and growth, ups the amps, makes a template for repeat performances! The technique becomes famous! Jupiter takes it public, demonstrating the potential and it catches fire! The book has a lovely perfect artistic cover, gets published, goes viral! Travel in your line of work; go to health seminars; get training at specialty schools – apply for the instructor’s position!

All these planets have a mission, merging, moving on. Each stop has productive information for the next.

Chiron and Uranus are in a 13 minute magic semi-sextile. They have been in a close pattern since 2008 and will be to 2021, thirteen years! Aug 19 they were exactly semi-sextile and will be within a degree of each other, and exact again Nov 25, the day of the Sagittarius Full Moon, the day before ThanksGiving! Chiron in Pisces, heals and teaches about our Souls, our Spirit, while Uranus in Aries awakens collective consciousness, seeks independence and freedom, a Change Maker. It may be a small aspect, but the ripples across the oceans and airwaves leave no particle untouched. See more!

This combination is ahead of its times, way ahead! The Tipping Point is being transcended. Stand together and keep at it. Let’s change the process of healing itself and share it around the world. Every conscious minute we are all connected. Make it count.

Virgo New Moon SOLAR ECLIPSE – Pluto T Square!
Saturday September 12, at 11:41 PM Pacific – 20 Virgo 10

Jupiter in Virgo’s first Solar Eclipse, and, the Eclipse is in Virgo!Solar Eclipse Nov 2012 Geoff Sims Australia
Photographer Geoff Sims captured the beauty of the Nov 14, 2012 total solar eclipse above Pormpuraaw, Queensland, Australia. ‘We flew across Cape York Peninsula for this eclipse, in search of clear skies and dramatic scenery. A lone tree stood on an otherwise barren plain, providing the perfect silhouette against the lunar shadow.’ Used by permission. See more of Geoff’s fine images!

I always think of eclipses as a transfusion of the mighty forces of Sun and Moon. Moon will be our channel for the people of and our planet Earth to let Sun know what’s up, where the Light is needed. The Sun will be shooting the Moon major energy to lighten the dark places. Moon, the Nurturer, will step it to the frequency our ability has the capacity to receive. She is a storage chamber as well, keeping it simmering, pouring out some of that reserve when ready for more Liquid Sun! Powerful ancient memories will emerge from the Shadows.

Besides being the first eclipse in Jupiter in Virgo, it is the last eclipse and New Moon in Saturn in Scorpio. There is a changing of the guard. The gateways to Virgo are officially opened! How we take care of ourselves is prime. The quality of our work is essential to our Spirits, both what we do and how we do it. We may be showing others that we love them by the little things we do for each other. Caring for our health is a way of giving ourselves a prosperous foundation. The good order of things frees our time to have quality time with each other.

Saturn is in its last 5 days in Scorpio, entering Sagittarius Sep 17 at 7:47 PM Pacific. Virgo tends the last needs, understands the intensity of what Scorpio has tried to put in place for the last 2+ years. Virgo may be called on to tie up loose ends, find out details that anchor Saturn’s hard work in an accessible fashion. This transition to Sagittarius may be a dramatic switch of focus. Saturn can harness runaway Sag energy and guide it well. The future must be potently planned in an arc of timely progression, that the gears may mesh in a smooth steady pace.

Moon and Sun are just 1 degree past opposition Chiron in Pisces and the inconjunct with Uranus in Aries. Chiron and Virgo are interested in healing. Chiron was a Medicine Man centaur, a teacher. Throughout time Virgo has been the herbalist, walking the village with her basket, the midwife, bedside counselor advisor, having wisewoman common sense. Chiron knows by the advance symptoms where the weak spots are. He teaches the healing techniques needed. At the New Moon, a quietening time, minds are more open to hear unfamiliar ideas. Make your visitor comfortable, select a safe place for the exchange.

The inconjunct with Uranus in Aries tweaks our attention slightly off center, inviting us to spare some moments for curiosity. There may be some deliciously shocking ideas in the offing that change our center of gravity! That also means pay careful attention to your driving and steps. There are extraordinary options available, subtle or blatant, that are on the brink of being accepted publicly! They may call for more independence on an immediate basis, but Saturn in Sagittarius will know how to introduce them to mainstream thinking as ideas whose time has come!

Mercury is just past square Pluto, but will retrograde shortly and make the square again! Mercury is opposed to Uranus, but retrogrades before the opposition is exact. They are forming a T Square with Pluto at the point! Uranus and Pluto are both retrograde. Uranus, faster, will come back to an almost one degree of square of each other. Both being slow moving outer planets, the energy will be carried for awhile. They are closest the last two days of Jan to Feb 6, 2016. That period will be a potent reminder for some of the difficulties many weathered 2010 through early 2015. Reconsider your losses, your recovery, that you were, perhaps, even unscathed! Some things you would do differently now; others are surprisingly best that they did happen.

Mercury in Libra opposite Uranus in Aries is an unsettled brilliant landscape! Mercury chatters and scatters not missing much. In Libra it automatically juxtaposes points of view, a rich consideration of premises, meeting tons of people. Uranus is the planet of genius, ahead of their time, exotic, perfectly unpredictable as they see things with split second comprehension! Aries is instantly filled with fiery aspirations and wants to do them now – why wait?!?! First there is one matter, then another. Curiosity is about at 12 on a scale of 10! Mercury can seem innocent enough, but if you want quiet, forget it. It may be apolitical, but Libra isn’t! They could easily slip slide into danger, and flip back out in a nick of time, shaking hands and laughing like crazy! Uranus in fiery Aries is a rebellious combo. They carry their own lighter. Though this aspect doesn’t become exact because Mercury retrogrades, it hints at possibilities that flavor Mercury’s retro scans of relationships, the balance of its life and mind, quality of attention, as it goes back through Libra.

Venus is just past inconjunct Pluto. Part of the last 3 days may have been a little sobering. There may have been some schisms, an inescapable or barely escaped loss of money. The hard work some do is truly impressive. The long term goals achieved by people with disabilities makes us weep in sadness and admiration. We are inspired and feel blessed for our own graces. Venus in Leo can be proud of their prowess, their dynamic attractiveness. They can bring honor and recognition, funding to people and projects that deserve.

Venus is about to trine Uranus, exact Sep 22, last day of Sun in Virgo, the day before Fall Equinox! Venus paints the blog post with Uranian bright colors! Uranus in Aries is remarkable leaders, initiation to brilliant new causes. It rules friendships door to door, worldwide flight and organizations, the internet! A simple Facebook posting can make a huge difference. Make that a series of posts! What you love and who you know affects 100s and more people. Entertainment may be extraordinary. If you have a message, shout it!

Mercury is slowing to retrograde Sep 17, so though closely sextile with Venus, giving a beautiful articulate message, they don’t close the deal because Mercury turns back. The idea is given, Mercury seeks Libra balance and regard, considers who is across the table, but for the time being, Venus prevails in Leo, thinking more of the individual’s contribution in this case.

Sep 16! The major eclipse aspect is Jupiter in Virgo, in its first aspect in Virgo with another outer planet, opposition Neptune. This chart, this eclipse, is the opening gateway to the opposition. This chart gathers information from Chiron, Uranus and Pluto. Jupiter opposite Neptune happens on the last day of Saturn in Scorpio, the eve of Saturn’s entry to Sagittarius. The opposition happens only this once. Oppositions often act like reflections. Neptune is in its own sign Pisces, the deepest Pool of the Soul. It takes us to Spirit, fathoms our dreams, knows our most subtle fears, has the compassion of all Being. It makes Music without words, is Divine Love. Jupiter looks across the table at this panorama of humanity and knows its mission. In Virgo it starts right then and there putting puzzle pieces together, making a fusion of the future. It has a year to do its part. See more!

Now, do you know where YOUR little eclipse glasses are?! Well doggone it, if you are in North America, it won’t matter if you don’t. This one is only a partial eclipse, visible in Southern Africa, the southern half of Madagascar, northern half of Antarctica, and the southwestern Indian Ocean. It’s not our turn. It’s still exciting though, and we will be able to see some great images online, maybe even live from southern observatories!

Polish up your antennae, open your heart, prepare to send your own powerful information, keep focused on our collective consciousness. Virgo is the sign of small animals, pets. Have them with you; be with them. Lay out a simple altar by a tree you have an affinity with. Make a bread offering, lay out sacred plants, a bowl of water. Give thanks in honor of your Medicine Animal and the herbs that serve us.
