Comet ISON 2013 during Sagittarius and Capricorn!

Astronomy sites say:  Comets are notoriously unpredictable, but it’s safe to say that many are waiting to see if Comet ISON will sizzle … or fizzle.  According to International Astronomical Union predictions, Comet ISON will peak a magnitude –4.5, equivalent to Venus’ brightness, as it skims just 730,000 miles (1.16 million kilometers) from the Sun’s surface November 28 at 11 AM Pacific — that’s Thanksgiving Day in the United States.  November 28 it can be easily spotted with the naked eye as well as the first week of December when it will be at its peak before making a close approach to Earth on December 26.  In the night sky, ISON will be seen very close to the bright star Spica and the planet Saturn. These bright stars might help you find the comet.

December 2013 is likely to be the best month to see Comet ISON, assuming it has survived its close pass near the sun intact. The comet will be visible both in the evening sky after sunset and in the morning sky before sunrise.  Although little or perhaps nothing of the head will remain, the huge tail will loom in the northeastern sky. Almost evenly illuminated over its length, this rapidly fading appendage could [span] almost a quarter of the heavens as seen under good, dark observing conditions.  Further questions are answered by these Hubble explanations!  Enjoy your viewing!

April 19, Chiron enters Pisces for the first time since 1960-69.  Between now and Feb 2019, those of you who become 50-51, will be having your Chiron Returns, that’s Chiron at the same place it was when you were born. Chiron, technically a comet, will be in Pisces space for about 9 years.

1960 to 69, we saw a plea to live more kindly with each other, love, not war, was one of the requests. This time we have different planetary combinations and our awareness has shifted to global attention – economic times are hard for many, global warming is a primary concern. Locally, people are growing their own food and learning how to save seeds. Wounds the planet suffers, are wounds many of us suffer symbolically.  At times we are bankrupt of Spirit, in despair, afraid we will never recover, unaware of our talents that could save us, or don’t have the confidence to use them!

These are poignant matters; we are all in recovery together. Chiron was famous in mythology for having a wound that would never heal. Pisces is known for fears, frail Spirits and sorrows. But out of this cauldron, perhaps partly a brew from past lives, comes a tender vigilance, compassion, a willingness to save others, maybe even ourselves, or perhaps, not even so valiantly, but simply, to stop the pain. Amazingly, Spirit somehow wells in us, we rise up out of misery, become heroes and heroines, often with a very gentle voice.

Art and music magic are Pisces antidotes, celebrate living! Amazing music was made in the 60s! While Chiron has been going through Aquarius, the sign of electronics and computers, we have seen music become available to us in our hands as we walk down the street!  In Pisces, another music making renaissance is at hand!

April 12, Saturn inconjuncts Chiron the 4th time!  The 5th and last time will be just after Chiron re-enters Aquarius Retrograde, July 20.

An inconjunct indicates not looking straight ahead, but paying attention to the periphery, the environment that accompanies the matter, support from unexpected sources, is a side issue to choices  made.

Saturn, now back in Virgo, wants commitment, responsible caring, good form, a solid reputation.  Chiron, in Aquarius, follows the wounded, healer, teacher process as well as marriage and business considerations.  Saturn asks if the wound is too deep to be healed, how can it be healed, can the process be taught so the client can do it themselves, then even teach it to others, carrying the talent through the generations, healing the generations.  Is there time enough to marry, is it the right time to marry?  Is it a good time to open a business, make a career adjustment?  Are resources in place to prosper together?  Consider well, then adjust what you can.

Sometimes ‘No’ is the better answer, letting go.  Or wait and see.  Be matter of fact yet kindly.  What you may not be able to give full attention to now, in time could become your focus.  We are in the 3 day ‘hot’ period, so strengthen your attention to these matters.
