Capricorn - Switzerland's Lara Gut Skiing

Saturn’s sign change is profoundly preceded by Sunday December 17’s New Moon, new beginning at 10:30 PM Pacific, at 26 Sagittarius 31, the Galactic Center! See more!
Three days after Saturn enters Capricorn, Dec 22 Mercury’s Sagittarius RETROGRADE ends! Mercury turns forward, Direct 5:51 PM Pacific. So Saturn’s entry into Capricorn this time is meant to reconsider many options, stay flexible. See more!

Fittingly, it’s just two days before Winter Solstice, Sun into Capricorn! Saturn readies itself for its own special time of year by jumping into its own sign, a double Capricorn effect! Goats love that jumping thing and they often have very steady footing, daring to go where no one even wants to go, even ice climbing! While some bears are napping in the dark, others are out on the slopes racing at top speed, invigorated, cold air rushing by, down to the bottom, then ready to go back to the top and do it again! Ice skating is an inspiring skill! If you think Capricorn is a stodgy old sign, think again! Winter has its own kind of excitement!

After the frolic is over, it is sweet time having a hearty meal with friends, sitting by the fire, sharing grog and stories of journeys and of having overcome amazing challenges. One by one, people go off to their rooms, maybe you are left with reminiscing, going over what you will do differently next time. Images stream by. A stretch and it’s time to rest for another brilliant crisp day. As much as Saturn is a hard worker, and play can be hard work, Saturn makes you know it’s good to take time for yourself. We need those between times.

On the ground, Saturn in Capricorn are expert at building sustainable homes that will last forever, be well lived in for the right price! Remarkable features might be beautiful stained glass windows, skylights, strong timbers, special insulation. Landscaping may include reclaimed fencing, skillful terracing and artful stonework installations. Restoration and renovation are natural for them. Utilities are low and sustainably rendered.

Between nature’s laws and the rules for safe construction, Saturn and Capricorn have a good sense of what works and what doesn’t. They are good at law enforcement, often take on a parental role, position of CEO, the boss. Chores may be important and no driving a car before your time or going out with ones older than you! Saturn might find us setting more clear boundaries for ourselves. We may become more clear how much time things take. Saturn with money planets or locations may require a strict budget. The other side of the coin is finances thrive, payback for long term hard work well done!

Saturn in Capricorn will likely bring more responsibilities to many who thought they couldn’t handle anymore! They may find themselves doing more than they ever expected, maybe even being asked to be the boss! Some will be pleased to find themselves doing quite well. Do negotiate a good salary, additional salary or a percent of the take. Others may find they need to back off and lighten the load. Chronic ailments sometimes stem from being too tired, tired all the time. Your body is not able to recover. As you get older, take that nap!

Knees may become important. Bending and proper surrender is a life skill. Overtaxing them has consequences. Bones and joints can only take so much stress. Don’t take yourself to the breaking point. Skin can suffer. Keep your pantry stocked with good quality food for road closed situations. Keep your body warm so you can get good rest.

In childhood, young Capricorns often have health challenges, but get super strong with age! They may be quite serious, but become cleverly funny, have a subtle wit, are truly funny comedians! Capricorn rules age. They are down to earth with a real smile when it comes. They deal with things as they happen and are often reliable to their friends even when they are down themselves. Saturn may bring some health cures, better living conditions and benefits for elders.

Saturn will reassesses relationships. Cappies take their relationships seriously. When they make a commitment their preference is to loyally keep it. Sometimes they stay too long. The other person may ‘need’ them. It has become a habit to suffer. They think it’s their fault. I’m no quitter. If I work hard enough and be a good person things will change. I’m too old to do this. Ok. Some of that may be true, but it doesn’t mean it will necessarily make it better. Take good care of yourself and talk with good solution oriented friends, advisors or counselors. If none of that is happening for you, wonderful! Keep letting your partner know how much you love them and are grateful they are in your life! They are lucky to have you!

SATURN RETURNS Saturn will be in Capricorn from Dec 19, 2017 and Dec 16, 2020. At the end of that time, Saturn will advance into Aquarius then retrograde back into Capricorn for awhile. If your Saturn is late Capricorn, check with your astrologer to see exactly when your Return is. Saturn was last in Capricorn 1988-91.

First Saturn Returns are at age 28/29. The second is about age 58. They can be serious. At age 28/29, many start lifelong careers, get significant promotions, get married, buy a house and the first child is on the way! For some, there can be hardships that cause delays and expected dreams never do come true. The Great Spirit has other plans for you. For some a Return may not even be a blip on the radar ’cause all’s well. 58 happens either way as well. There may be a second chance, retirement, a whole new tack in life! However it is, it will be Capricorn style.

CAPRICORN WITH OTHER SIGNS

Capricorn is the third and last of the Earth signs. The fertile lowlands and meadows, farms, are Taurus domain. Virgo tends the plants and animals, does superb property management, cleans the houses, is nanny to the children. Capricorn views them from that breathtaking hillside building they built, or from the high rise top floor, penthouse suite!

Earth signs generally get along with Water signs, but not always. Saturn/Cap is a hard worker. Pisces not so much. If the surf is up, they’re gone. If the business is music/film it can be a downright magical combination! Cancer and Cap are both highly interested in financial security, a good home for the family, family lineage, good jobs, long term relationships. Cap needs to consider their feelings, spend time with them. Scorpio is not only interested in superior financial commitments and insurance, a secure domain and business, but also needs dedicated and devoted relationships – both personal and business. Scorpio also wants your good health – state of mind and body. Capricorn is right on board with all that. Capricorn deeply values longevity and a history of success and integrity.

Saturn and Capricorn challenge the other Cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer and LibraAries is boss allergic, independent to a fault! They are innovative rather than obedient. They want to be first! Cap needs to give them room to maneuver. Cancers like a supportive mothering relationship, consideration of their feelings. Saturn/Cap is sometimes just all business. Either do the job now or come back when you can. They don’t have time for this, get someone else. And maybe they are right. Let it go and get work more to your Spirit. At home, Cap, make time for the family and don’t talk business at that special time. They love you. Libra is social and wants you to be polite. Cap can be so to the point they are brusque with no amenities. Libra may be caught crying in the restroom. If Libra wasn’t such a good front person and so artistic, Cap might send them packing in a minute. If your boss is a Sat/Cap type, see if they balance their sometimes lack of manners with respect and acknowledge your good work. Cap, do a little thinking first. It may be quite worth those extra moments.

That leaves Fire signs Leo and Sagittarius, and Air signs Gemini and Aquarius. Leo can be a little flamboyant, which often warms that Caps heart as they can walk proud with such a glamourous Being! Sagittarius is hard to pin down since they love to travel so much, so unless it’s a travel business they do together, Cap doesn’t feel they are reliable. Gemini just keeps Cap spinning. The information better be good and succinctly given or they are banished! Aquarius was born to break rules and Sat/Cap lives for rules. However, if they are collaborating in a community organization, it works!

If you are older than 28/29, wherever Saturn is in your birth chart right now is where it was 28/29 years ago! Do know that the other planets are NOT where they were 28/9 years ago, so there will be some the same and a lot not! Each of your houses or sections of your chart have special purpose. Whatever ways Saturn is aspecting planets or factors in your chart, it is often memorable, sometimes profound.

Please, always remember these planetary combinations are what’s happening in the world. Check with your astrologer to see how they do, or don’t, activate your personal chart! May it go very well with you….

The Aries Fire Stellium is OVER.  Now as we enter Taurus, the sign of loyalty and steadfastness, what was new, or did you start, during that Aries stellium, that you would like to continue to have in your life?  What value did you bring in that you are happy to maintain?  I have a new student who is new to astrology, and she is taking in the principles amazingly quickly!  I started sharing some more garden space with another community gardener, and intend to grow crops I will harvest to store for winter food.

Wise old Saturn is holding the fort at his 10 degree Libra station (appears to be stationary, still, in the sky) from May 18 to July 8, turning direct (forward) June 12.  Those of you with planets at 8 through 12 degrees will feel the need to enforce or question the rules, make or break commitments, let go or take responsibility, respond to age issues, make career choices, engage in father/ing matters, build for a stable future.  Being overwhelmed burdens the Soul; timing that fits the deed and your needs and your Spirit makes all the difference.  Focus and do your best.  Make yourself proud!

Jupiter is making his last stand in Aries until entering earthy Taurus June 4, starting off a fine Saturday!  That will leave only Uranus in Aries, the lone wolf on its own again, but happily so in a sign of its same spirit, both Uranus and Aries loving freedom and independence!  Jupiter in Aries gives a last chance these 14 days to start what we will, get educated to be encouraged, have confidence, to lead the way, or follow someone we trust well.  It could be more fun than you have ever had before!  Frolicking is good!  Roller skate, hike, ride your bike!  Continue it with Jupiter in Taurus exercise; do the fun kind!  Long horseback rides, mountain walks, walk your dog!  Endurance and strength sports are satisfying.  Long distance and heavy weight.

Jupiter, good luck, fame, huge growth, in attractive Venus ruled Taurus can attract more money than God – they call it a BULL MARKET when the stock market is going UP!  Jupiter in Taurus can keep that money, hordes of it, may travel to the ashram for an extended stay, found a non-profit organic farm, raise horses, buy fine art, start an imported cosmetics franchise, do melting massages at the spa on the train, drive a huge moving truck, give sculpting seminars!  It may get off to a slow start, but once rolling, it just keeps going.  Dedicated, determined, loyal.  Simple, common sense solutions.  Luxurious hair, earthy beauty, natural fabrics, furs.  It looks further ahead than its own two feet, so makes ‘lucky’ choices.  Well grounded, centered, satisfied, peaceful.  Smooth jazz.

Jupiter may, at this time, be even a bit more languid than just the easy-go-flow of Taurus because it is sextile Neptune (only this one time, not the usual 3 times) upon entry into Taurus, makes the exact aspect June 8!  Both are ‘religious’ in that Jupiter rules churches and sets the tenets of faith; Neptune is the Pisces planet, Pisces being the sign of spiritualism, meditation, meeting God on your own terms, often religious diversity.  Jupiter usually calls for adherence to the church’s philosophy, though can be open-minded and take up religious studies.  Pisces, is perhaps more Buddhism oriented, compassionate, yet can believe so passionately as to give one’s life for the cause, a devotee who lives in silence and service in the spiritual abode 24/7.  This aspect offers what works for you, the best of both, in your everyday life.  Jupiter in Taurus loves the armchair more than the airfare.  There better be a good reason to take that trip.  Probably chooses to make oms at home!  Neptune is now in Pisces, its own sign.  It, like Taurus, is usually gentle.  But don’t let this fool you.  Being gentle is one of the greatest powers on earth.  A good teacher can ask clever questions, sneak right up on you and let you think you thought of it yourself!  Feeling and being safe, opens all the gateways for learning.  Your eyes open right up wide with the happiness of the leap – insights, epiphanies, are the order of the day!  Let it be!  Make music!

There is a powerful set of planetary aspects leading up to Neptune entering its OWN SIGN Pisces!

April 1, April Fool’s Day, Mars enters its own sign Aries, making that then FIVE planets in ARIES!  Since Mars is in his perihelion year (closest to the Sun and moving fastest), recently at maximum perihelion March 9, he is still moving fast, speeding up our responses. In his own sign, things will be even more to the point and ASAP.  An independent note is alive, and survival has great depth of meaning after the Japan quake & tsunami.  Mars’ perihelion was only two days before the quake, and in Pisces, the sign of the ocean, tsunamis.  In a manner of speaking, there has been a tidal clearing, and now it is time to pioneer what will be one of the most amazing creations of our modern times.  The Japanese rebuilding will be able to model fuel efficient cities, improvements in transportation systems, will have opportunity to create life supporting communities that are green beyond our wildest dreams!  Tradition will encounter youth and inspiration.  It will take courage and tremendous respect to introduce and strategize improvements that will still be comfortable for elders, keep them feeling close to their roots, yet be better for them as well.  The Japanese have always been famous for their warriors.  Now it will take all their poise, to live on the edge of the sword in a good way.

April 3 is a remarkable day with the Aries New Moon leading at 7:32 AM Pacific, Mars conjunct Uranus 1:52 PM, and Saturn at Opposition (Sun) 4:58 PM!

April 3 the new Moon will be 13 Aries 30, and the Moon’s presence then makes SIX planets in ARIES!  Often New Moons are quiet affairs, but this one may not be so.  Aries isn’t famous for quiet or staying in bed, so don’t be surprised if you feel yourself being prodded to action.  Since it is early Sunday morning, why not plan ahead for something new for breakfast, try out a new recipe, go out to a restaurant with a sunrise view!  Maybe there is a little project you would love to get out of the way and it goes quickly.  Go see some new property, an open house.  Meet some friends for a bike ride!  You may not feel like Church, or the speaker may be super inspirational.  If you know others are going to be moving faster, plan ahead so you can do your best to keep up in cheerful spirits.  Have your cuppa at easy access.

April 3 Mars conjunct Uranus!   Happens every two years, so many of us are born with it, and we know what it means!  We love our computers, when we aren’t frustrated with them.  We have independent friends, lots of them.  We know what brainstorming and barnraising can do – multiply power, do what one can’t do alone.  Sometimes it’s hard to ask for help simply because we are curious what will happen if we don’t.  Sometimes we are brought to our knees and we are so touched by help given even when we didn’t ask.  This conjunction is in ARIES, so independence is even more pronounced.  Add in the ability to be the fighter, for better or worse.  Exuberance and enthusiasm may be over the top, to you, but not to the person who has this in their chart!  They are just getting started!  Give them room, and let them run circles around you – they can work, you can watch!  That’s divine economy, right?  Give them an electric bicycle!  They will be thrilled.

Worldwide, the day of, or the day before or after, may bring surprising news, more crisis fighting, rebels may renew their fight, huge explosions, angry words, shocking votes, affairs or improprieties.  There is a lot of stress with a New Moon (Sun and Moon both pulling at the same side) and the Sun opposition Saturn pulling at each other.

April 3 Annual Saturn at Opposition (the Sun). The ringed planet will be at its closest approach to Earth. This is the best time to view and photograph Saturn and its moons. For us in everyday life, Mar 30 to Apr 3 is during Mercury retrograde, and also, by its own nature, is not a time to start a new project. Yet, many will, and the challenges will be to overcome fears, depression, decipher what’s real, how much time it will take, how to access resources and tools, whether to give in or give up. If you overcome the difficulties, it will feel like such an achievement. You may not smile, or there may be a sober one, but there’s a good chance you will be glad you went ahead. Be ready for it to be a continual learning experience, and each step may go far more quickly than you ever thought possible. When you reach those breaking points, sleep on it, see how it goes the next day. Follow your heart.

This aspect involves creator Father Sun, and patriarchal guardian, Father Time Saturn, of age and mastership.  Fathers.  Sun is Self, your individual giving self.  Saturn, planet of achievement, says you must prove yourself, earn it.  At opposition suggests a standing apart, in full appraisal of the advantages of both positions.  Sometimes it calls for letting go, other times a shaking of hands across the table, mutual respect.  One is simply at large; the other demands you take full responsibility.  Does your career choice sit well with your Spirit?  Are you making the same choices as your Father did, your Mother wanted your Father to make?  Is that ok with you, or do you need to rebalance your choices?

It’s like all the equipment is in order!  Mars is feisty in its own sign, getting things done.  Conjunct Uranus it is super charged, electrified!  The New Moon stamps the ticket for new beginnings, firey and forward!  Sun Saturn add a serious, collect yourself, let’s get the job done!  Now….

Here is the chart of Neptune into Pisces, Santa Barbara CA!

Neptune into Pisces 2011, Santa Barbara CA

April 4 NEPTUNE enters its own sign PISCES, during a SIX planet Aries stellium, which happens to be in three pairings:  Mars conjunct Uranus – innovation & change, the Sun conjunct Jupiter – lucky & expansive, and Mercury conjunct Moon – puts words to the feelings & mindful of women!

It’s nothing new that Neptune and Chiron have been traveling together.  Now they are both in Pisces.  Please see Chiron into Pisces.  Chiron is traveling about two times as fast as Neptune, so will be moving on, leaving Neptune behind, though both will be in Pisces for the next seven years.

Neptune enters its own sign Pisces only once every 168 years, and we get to experience it!  The day after Saturn at opposition and the Aries NEW MOON, in the middle of all the ARIES excitement, Neptune, planet of Pisces, quietly goes into Pisces!  Neptune/Pisces represent enchantment, addictions, art, music, Magic, starlit nights at sea, howling gales over the ocean, retreats, Spirit, dreams, visions, psychic awareness, the Unseen, the Great Mystery. In the mid of Aries’ fast amped pace, take time to check in with your Spirit Guides, pay attention to your intuition, get the rest you need. Walk on the wharf. Get some negative ions up your nose, clear your brain space with some peppery salt air! Feel the crash of the waves, take off your shoes. Take the cruise you’ve always wanted to, let the wind whistle between your teeth!  If you live inland, get to the sea when you can; do your equivalent. Meditate, imagine. Plant your seed dreams.  Rise and fall on the waters of life.  Rock in the cradle of the primordial ocean, where life crawled out of the sea…..

Trust is a primal matter.  After Japan, some will look askance at my talking of the sea the way I have.  Yet, those of us who live by the sea, feel her calling.  We live at her edge, see her seasons, her rhythm, astonishing sunrises and sunsets.  We develop respect because we see her take what she does.  It’s true.  Some drown, some are eaten.  Yet, she comforts us, shows us magnificence, gives us gratitude, perspective, humbles us with her sheer size and intricate tiny creatures.  Most of us won’t move away.

This is early days yet, only the first few degrees of Pisces will be really activated so far – those of you born the first few days of your signs. Your turn will come. It may be challenging for the other mutable signs, Gemini, Sagittarius are square, and Virgo opposite. Gemini wants to talk; Pisces loves solitude and silence. Sagittarius is puppy dog friendly, likes to tell stories; Pisces, loves solitude and silence. Virgo likes to dig in, figure things out; Pisces uses intuition. Cancer and Scorpio are the other Water Signs. All function at instinctual levels, Cancer in behalf of home and family, Scorpio for one’s mate and money, Pisces for God and Soul.

Aug 4 Neptune retrogrades back into Aquarius, reviews its network of spiritual friendships, weakspots in the web may be repaired.  Feb 3, 2012, Neptune reenters Pisces until Jan 2026, 14 years.

I wish you well on this Magical Visionary Voyage we are all about to encounter!

Warren Buffett, Virgo 8-30-30, #3 wealthiest man in world 2010

Whether you are investor, philanthropist Warren Buffet, or first woman billionaire author JK Rowling, Virgo is a good place to be!

April 7, Saturn goes back into Virgo until July 21!

Saturn has been in Libra since October 29.  In Libra, Saturn represents long-term

relationships, that may have been hard

Billionaire JK Rowling, 5 Planets in Virgo, Leo Sun, 7-31-65

won, ended with difficulty; how we work together, goals we set that involve others, challenging boundaries; what our age means to us.  In Virgo, our talents are weighed, productiveness assessed, working conditions changed, our health requirements redefined, services renegotiated, the time it takes matters.

Virgo skills may be critical to whether a partnership is formed – Virgo is precursor to Libra relationships.  One of the most important things we can do for our relationships is be healthy and available.  Get your rest, eat well.  Get your life in order, in a flow, so things get done and don’t linger and nag at your conscience and consciousness making you cranky with yourself and others.  Be available.  Criticisms and contempt, not getting our needs met, don’t invite togetherness.  Attitudes behind our communications can be devastating or celebrating, make the difference between loss or love.

Our excellent health is root to living a good life.  It gives us the ability and energy to learn the skills needed for our career attractiveness, to attract work environments that keep us healthy because we are happy to be there!   Learn more about how to take good care of yourself.  Start where you are, do what you can even if it is only a little bit a day.  Learn and do, learn and do.  Be in the company of others who are doing and succeeding with their health matters.  Tip the scales to the good.

Career and working conditions are prime matters.  Whether to work, when to work, who to work with, why to do what work, where to work.  Balance requires paying the rent; preference requests doing work that honors our Soul, feeling respected and celebrated!   Keep growing  your skills in the directions your Spirit flies!  Respect yourself by keeping company with people going your way, who are succeeding beautifully!  Get your personal life in order so you will rest well at night, satisfied with your day’s achievements – you did the best you could, given all the circumstances.

Nuances in our thinking, and details in our daily living, may need cleaning up, and who better than a dedicated Virgo to show us the way?!  Saturn is the planet of mastery.  Saturn, ruler of Capricorn, an earth sign, helps Virgo, also an earth sign, to greater efficiency.  It checks the time it takes, prioritizes which skills are most effective, knows where things are clogged up, finds which details matter most, that are key to shifting your energy.  Virgos will likely be most pleased with the results in the long-term.

Saturn won’t return here for 29 years, so run your trials, see what works!  The goodness of your systems and production will set the way for your next 29 years!  Make it count.  You can do it!  Saturn is architecture and construction.  Virgos are great wood workers and cabinet makers.  This is symbolic of building your life, making good compartments to hold life’s gifts!

We all have Virgo in our charts!  See which houses Saturn in Virgo is in for you, how this placement interacts with planets in your chart.  Please call or email for  your appointment!  Blessed be.
